1	الر ۚ تِلْكَ آيَاتُ الْكِتَابِ وَقُرْآنٍ مُّبِينٍ
Transliteration 1:	Aliflamra tilka ayatu alkitabi waquranin mubeenin
Yusuf Ali 1:	A. L. R. These are the Ayats of Revelation,- of a Qur'an that makes things clear.
Shakir 1:	Alif Lam Ra. These are the verses of the Book and (of) a Quran that makes (things) clear.
Pickthal 1:	Alif. Lam. Ra. These are verses of the Scripture and a plain Reading.
Mohsin Khan: 1:	Alif-Lam-Ra. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Qur'an, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings].These are Verses of the Book and a plain Qur'an.

Urdu 1:	یہ آیتیں کتاب کی ہیں اور قرآن واضح کی
2	رُّبَمَا يَوَدُّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَوْ كَانُوا مُسْلِمِينَ
Transliteration 2:	Rubama yawaddu allatheena kafaroo law kanoo muslimeena
Yusuf Ali 2:	Again and again will those who disbelieve, wish that they had bowed (to Allah.s will) in Islam.
Shakir 2:	Often will those who disbelieve wish that they had been Muslims.
Pickthal 2:	It may be that those who disbelieve wish ardently that they were Muslims.
Mohsin Khan: 2:	How much would those who disbelieved wish that they had been Muslims [those who have submitted themselves to Allah's Will in Islam i.e. Islamic Monotheism - this will be on the Day of Resurrection when they will see the disbelievers going to Hell and the Muslims going to Paradise].
French 2:	[Le Jour du Jugement Dernier] les mécréants voudraient avoir été Musulmans [soumis].
Spanish 2:	Puede que los infieles deseen haber sido musulmanes...
Indonesian 2:	Orang-orang yang kafir itu sering kali (nanti di akhirat) menginginkan, kiranya mereka dahulu (di dunia) menjadi orang-orang muslim.
Melayu 2:	Ada masanya orang-orang yang kafir merasa ingin kalaulah mereka telah menjadi orang-orang Islam.
German 2:	Es mag wohl sein, daß die Ungläubigen wünschen, sie wären Muslime gewesen.
Russian 2:	Неверующие непременно пожелают оказаться мусульманами.
Bosnian 2:	Zažaliće nevjernici često što nisu postali muslimani.
Urdu 2:	کافر بڑی حسرت کریں گے کہ کاش وہ مسلمان ہو جاتے
3	ذَرْهُمْ يَأْكُلُوا وَيَتَمَتَّعُوا وَيُلْهِهِمُ الْأَمَلُ ۖ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ
Transliteration 3:	Tharhum yakuloo wayatamattaAAoo wayulhihimu alamalu fasawfa yaAAlamoona
Yusuf Ali 3:	Leave them alone, to enjoy (the good things of this life) and to please themselves: let (false) hope amuse them: soon will knowledge (undeceive them).
Shakir 3:	Leave them that they may eat and enjoy themselves and (that) hope may beguile them, for they will soon know.
Pickthal 3:	Let them eat and enjoy life, and let (false) hope beguile them. They will come to know!
Mohsin Khan: 3:	Leave them to eat and enjoy, and let them be preoccupied with (false) hope. They will come to know!
French 3:	Laisse-les manger, jouir (un temps), et être distraits par l'espoir; car bientòt ils sauront!
Spanish 3:	¡Déjales que coman y que gocen por breve tiempo! ¡Que se distraigan con la esperanza! ¡Van a ver...!
Indonesian 3:	Biarkanlah mereka (di dunia ini) makan dan bersenang-senang dan dilalaikan oleh angan-angan (kosong), maka kelak mereka akan mengetahui (akibat perbuatan mereka).
Melayu 3:	Biarkanlah mereka makan dan bersenang-lenang dengan kemewahan dunia dan dilalaikan oleh angan-angan (daripada bertaubat dan insaf); kemudian mereka akan mengetahui kelak (bencana perbuatan mereka).
German 3:	Lasse sie essen und genießen und von Hoffnung abgelenkt werden; bald werden sie es erfahren.
Russian 3:	Оставь их – пусть они едят, пользуются благами и увлекаются чаяниями. Скоро они узнают.
Bosnian 3:	Pusti ih neka jedu i naslađuju se, i neka ih zavara nada - znaće oni!
Urdu 3:	انہیں چھوڑ دو کھا لیں اور فائدہ اٹھا لیں اور انہیں آرزو بھلائے رکھے سو آئندہ معلوم کر لیں گے
4	وَمَا أَهْلَكْنَا مِن قَرْيَةٍ إِلَّا وَلَهَا كِتَابٌ مَّعْلُومٌ
Transliteration 4:	Wama ahlakna min qaryatin illa walaha kitabun maAAloomun
Yusuf Ali 4:	Never did We destroy a population that had not a term decreed and assigned beforehand.
Shakir 4:	And never did We destroy a town but it had a term made known.
Pickthal 4:	And We destroyed no township but there was a known decree for it.
Mohsin Khan: 4:	And never did We destroy a township but there was a known decree for it.
French 4:	Or Nous ne détruisons aucune cité sans qu'elle n'ait eu [un terme fixé en] une Ecriture connue.
Spanish 4:	Nunca destruimos ciudad cuya suerte no estuviera decidida.
Indonesian 4:	Dan Kami tiada membinasakan sesuatu negeripun, melainkan ada baginya ketentuan masa yang telah ditetapkan.
Melayu 4:	Dan tiadalah Kami binasakan (penduduk) sesebuah negeri melainkan ada baginya tempoh yang tertentu dan termaklum.
German 4:	Und Wir haben nie eine Stadt zerstört, ohne daß ihr eine wohlbekannte Frist bemessen gewesen wäre.
Russian 4:	Все селения, которые Мы погубили, имели известное предписание.
Bosnian 4:	A Mi smo uništavali gradove samo u određeno vrijeme,
Urdu 4:	اور ہم نے جتنی بستیاں ہلاک کی ہیں ان سب کے لیے ایک مقرر وقت لکھا ہوا تھا
5	مَّا تَسْبِقُ مِنْ أُمَّةٍ أَجَلَهَا وَمَا يَسْتَأْخِرُونَ
Transliteration 5:	Ma tasbiqu min ommatin ajalaha wama yastakhiroona
Yusuf Ali 5:	Neither can a people anticipate its term, nor delay it.
Shakir 5:	No people can hasten on their doom nor can they postpone (it).
Pickthal 5:	No nation can outstrip its term nor can they lag behind.
Mohsin Khan: 5:	No nation can advance its term, nor delay it.
French 5:	Nulle communauté ne devance son terme, ni ne le retard.
Spanish 5:	Ninguna comunidad puede adelantar ni retrasar su plazo.
Indonesian 5:	Tidak ada suatu umatpun yang dapat mendahului ajalnya, dan tidak (pula) dapat mengundurkan (nya).
Melayu 5:	Sesuatu umat itu tidak dapat mendahului tempohnya yang telah ditentukan dan mereka juga tidak dapat mengundurkannya.
German 5:	Kein Volk kann seine Frist überschreiten; noch können sie dahinter zurückbleiben.
Russian 5:	Ни одна община не может опередить свой срок или отложить его.
Bosnian 5:	nijedan narod ne može ni ubrzati ni usporiti konac svoj.
Urdu 5:	کوئی قوم اپنے وقت مقرر سے نہ پہلے ہلاک ہوئی ہے نہ پیچھے رہی ہے
6	وَقَالُوا يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِي نُزِّلَ عَلَيْهِ الذِّكْرُ إِنَّكَ لَمَجْنُونٌ
Transliteration 6:	Waqaloo ya ayyuha allathee nuzzila AAalayhi alththikru innaka lamajnoonun
Yusuf Ali 6:	They say: "O thou to whom the Message is being revealed! truly thou art mad (or possessed)!
Shakir 6:	And they say: O you to whom the Reminder has been revealed! you are most surely insane:
Pickthal 6:	And they say: O thou unto whom the Reminder is revealed, lo! thou art indeed a madman!
Mohsin Khan: 6:	And they say: "O you (Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم) to whom the Dhikr (the Qur'an) has been sent down! Verily, you are a mad man!
French 6:	Et ils (les mecquois) disent: ‹Ô toi sur qui on a fait descendre le Coran, tu es certainement fou!
Spanish 6:	Dicen: "¡Eh, tú, a quien se ha hecho bajar la Amonestación! ¡Eres, ciertamente, un poseso!
Indonesian 6:	Mereka berkata: "Hai orang yang diturunkan Al Qur'an kepadanya, sesungguhnya kamu benar-benar orang yang gila .
Melayu 6:	Dan mereka yang ingkar berkata (kepada Nabi Muhammad): Wahai orang yang kepadanya diturunkan Al-Quran, sesungguhnya engkau adalah orang gila.
German 6:	"Und sie sagten: ""O du, zu dem die Ermahnung herabgesandt wurde, du bist wahrlich ein Verrückter.
Russian 6:	Они сказали: «О тот, кому ниспослано откровение! Воистину, ты – одержимый.
Bosnian 6:	Oni govore: "Ej, ti kome se Kur’an objavljuje, ti si, uistinu lud!
Urdu 6:	اور انہوں نے کہا اے وہ شخص جس پر قرآن نازل کیا گیا ہے بے شک تو مجنون ہے
7	لَّوْ مَا تَأْتِينَا بِالْمَلَائِكَةِ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ الصَّادِقِينَ
Transliteration 7:	Law ma tateena bialmalaikati in kunta mina alssadiqeena
Yusuf Ali 7:	"Why bringest thou not angels to us if it be that thou hast the Truth?"
Shakir 7:	Why do you not bring to us the angels if you are of the truthful ones?
Pickthal 7:	Why bringest thou not angels unto us, if thou art of the truthful?
Mohsin Khan: 7:	"Why do you not bring angels to us if you are of the truthful?"
French 7:	Pourquoi ne nous es-tu pas venu avec les Anges, si tu es du nombre des véridiques?›
Spanish 7:	Si es verdad lo que dices, ¿por qué no nos traes a los ángeles?"
Indonesian 7:	Mengapa kamu tidak mendatangkan malaikat kepada kami, jika kamu termasuk orang-orang yang benar?"
Melayu 7:	Sepatutnya engkau membawakan malaikat kepada kami (untuk menjadi saksi tentang kerasulanmu), jika betul engkau dari orang-orang yang benar!
German 7:	""Warum bringst du nicht Engel zu uns, wenn du einer der Wahrhaftigen bist?""
Russian 7:	Почему ты не привел к нам ангелов, если ты – один из тех, кто говорит правду?»
Bosnian 7:	Zašto nam meleke ne dovedeš, ako je istina što govoriš!”
Urdu 7:	اگر تم سچے ہو تو ہمارے پاس فرشتوں کو کیوں نہیں لاتے
8	مَا نُنَزِّلُ الْمَلَائِكَةَ إِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ وَمَا كَانُوا إِذًا مُّنظَرِينَ
Transliteration 8:	Ma nunazzilu almalaikata illa bialhaqqi wama kanoo ithan munthareena
Yusuf Ali 8:	We send not the angels down except for just cause: if they came (to the ungodly), behold! no respite would they have!
Shakir 8:	We do not send the angels but with truth, and then they would not be respited.
Pickthal 8:	We send not down the angels save with the Fact, and in that case (the disbelievers) would not be tolerated.
Mohsin Khan: 8:	We send not the angels down except with the truth (i.e. for torment), and in that case, they (the disbelievers) would have no respite!
French 8:	Nous ne faisons descendre les Anges qu'avec la vérité; et alors, il ne leur sera pas accordé de répit [à ces impies].
Spanish 8:	Haremos descender a los ángeles de veras y, entonces, ya no les será dado esperar.
Indonesian 8:	Kami tidak menurunkan malaikat melainkan dengan benar (untuk membawa azab) dan tiadalah mereka ketika itu diberi tangguh.
Melayu 8:	Tiadalah Kami menurunkan malaikat melainkan dengan cara yang sungguh layak dan berhikmat dan pada ketika itu mereka (yang ingkar) tidak akan diberi tempoh lagi.
German 8:	"Wahrlich, Wir senden keine Engel hinab, außer aus triftigem Grunde, und dann wird ihnen kein Aufschub gewährt.
Russian 8:	Мы ниспосылаем ангелов только с истиной, и тогда никому не предоставляется отсрочка.
Bosnian 8:	Mi meleke šaljemo samo s Istinom, i tada im se ne bi dalo vremena da čekaju.
Urdu 8:	ہم فرشتہ تو فیصلہ ہی کے لیے بھیجا کرتے ہیں اور اس وقت انہیں مہلت نہیں ملے گی
9	إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَزَّلْنَا الذِّكْرَ وَإِنَّا لَهُ لَحَافِظُونَ
Transliteration 9:	Inna nahnu nazzalna alththikra wainna lahu lahafithoona
Yusuf Ali 9:	We have, without doubt, sent down the Message; and We will assuredly guard it (from corruption).
Shakir 9:	Surely We have revealed the Reminder and We will most surely be its guardian.
Pickthal 9:	Lo! We, even We, reveal the Reminder, and lo! We verily are its Guardian.
Mohsin Khan: 9:	Verily, We, it is We Who have sent down the Dhikr (i.e. the Qur'an) and surely, We will guard it (from corruption) .
French 9:	En vérité c'est Nous qui avons fait descendre le Coran, et c'est Nous qui en sommes gardien.
Spanish 9:	Somos Nosotros Quienes hemos revelado la Amonestación y somos Nosotros sus custodios.
Indonesian 9:	Sesungguhnya Kami-lah yang menurunkan Al Qur'an, dan sesungguhnya Kami benar-benar memeliharanya .
Melayu 9:	Sesungguhnya Kamilah yang menurunkan Al-Quran dan Kamilah yang memelihara dan menjaganya.
German 9:	Wahrlich, Wir Selbst haben diese Ermahnung herabgesandt, und sicherlich werden Wir ihr Hüter sein.
Russian 9:	Воистину, Мы ниспослали Напоминание, и Мы оберегаем его.
Bosnian 9:	Mi, uistinu, Kur’an objavljujemo i zaista ćemo Mi nad njim bdjeti!
Urdu 9:	ہم نے یہ نصیحت اتار دی ہے اور بے شک ہم اس کے نگہبان ہیں
10	وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلِكَ فِي شِيَعِ الْأَوَّلِينَ
Transliteration 10:	Walaqad arsalna min qablika fee shiyaAAi alawwaleena
Yusuf Ali 10:	We did send apostles before thee amongst the religious sects of old:
Shakir 10:	And certainly We sent (messengers) before you among the nations of yore.
Pickthal 10:	We verily sent (messengers) before thee among the factions of the men of old.
Mohsin Khan: 10:	Indeed, We sent (Messengers) before you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم) amongst the sects (communities) of old.
French 10:	Et nous avons certes envoyé, avant toi, [des Messagers] parmi les peuples des Anciens.
Spanish 10:	Antes de ti, mandamos a otros enviados a los pueblos antiguos.
Indonesian 10:	Dan sesungguhnya Kami telah mengutus (beberapa rasul) sebelum kamu kepada umat-umat yang terdahulu.
Melayu 10:	Dan demi sesungguhnya! Kami telah utuskan Rasul-rasul sebelummu (wahai Muhammad), dalam kalangan kaum-kaum yang telah lalu.
German 10:	Und wahrlich, Wir entsandten schon vor dir (Gesandte) zu den Parteien der Früheren.
Russian 10:	Мы уже отправляли до тебя посланников к прежним общинам.
Bosnian 10:	I prije tebe smo poslanike prijašnjim narodima slali
Urdu 10:	اور تجھ سے پہلے ہم پہلی قوموں میں بھی رسول بھیج چکے ہیں
11	وَمَا يَأْتِيهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا كَانُوا بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِئُونَ
Transliteration 11:	Wama yateehim min rasoolin illa kanoo bihi yastahzioona
Yusuf Ali 11:	But never came an apostle to them but they mocked him.
Shakir 11:	And there never came a messenger to them but they mocked him.
Pickthal 11:	And never came there unto them a messenger but they did mock him.
Mohsin Khan: 11:	And never came a Messenger to them but they did mock at him.
French 11:	Et pas un Messager ne leur est venu sans qu'ils s'en soient moqués.
Spanish 11:	No vino a ellos enviado que no se burlaran de él.
Indonesian 11:	Dan tidak datang seorang rasulpun kepada mereka, melainkan mereka selalu memperolok-olokkannya.
Melayu 11:	Dan tiadalah seseorang Rasul pun yang datang kepada mereka, melainkan mereka mempersenda dan mengejek-ejeknya.
German 11:	Und nie kam ein Gesandter zu ihnen, über den sie nicht gespottet hätten.
Russian 11:	Какой бы посланник ни приходил к ним, они издевались над ним.
Bosnian 11:	i nijedan im poslanik nije došao, a da mu se nisu narugali.
Urdu 11:	اور وہ بھی جب کوئی رسول ان کے پاس آتا ہے تو اس سے ٹھٹھا ہی کرتے
12	كَذَ‌ٰلِكَ نَسْلُكُهُ فِي قُلُوبِ الْمُجْرِمِينَ
Transliteration 12:	Kathalika naslukuhu fee quloobi almujrimeena
Yusuf Ali 12:	Even so do we let it creep into the hearts of the sinners -
Shakir 12:	Thus do We make it to enter into the hearts of the guilty;
Pickthal 12:	Thus do We make it traverse the hearts of the guilty:
Mohsin Khan: 12:	Thus do We let it (polytheism and disbelief) enter the hearts of the Mujrimun [criminals, polytheists and pagans (because of their mocking at the Messengers)].
French 12:	C'est ainsi que Nous faisons pénétrer (la mécréance) dans les coeurs des coupables.
Spanish 12:	Así se lo insinuamos ahora a los pecadores,
Indonesian 12:	Demikianlah, Kami memasukkan (rasa ingkar dan memperolok-olokkan itu) ke dalam hati orang-orang yang berdosa (orang-orang kafir),
Melayu 12:	(Sebagaimana hati kaum-kaum yang telah lalu dimasuki perasaan mempersendakan Rasul-rasul) demikianlah pula Kami masukkan perasaan yang seperti itu ke dalam hati orang-orang yang berdosa (yang menentangmu).
German 12:	So lassen Wir diese (Spottlust) in die Herzen der Sünder einziehen.
Russian 12:	Таким же образом Мы насаждаем его (неверие) в сердцах грешников.
Bosnian 12:	Eto tako Mi Kur’an uvodimo u srca nevjernika,
Urdu 12:	اسی طرح ہم یہ ٹھٹھا ان مجرمو ں کے دلوں میں ڈال دیتے ہیں
13	لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِ ۖ وَقَدْ خَلَتْ سُنَّةُ الْأَوَّلِينَ
Transliteration 13:	La yuminoona bihi waqad khalat sunnatu alawwaleena
Yusuf Ali 13:	That they should not believe in the (Message); but the ways of the ancients have passed away.
Shakir 13:	They do not believe in it, and indeed the example of the former people has already passed.
Pickthal 13:	They believe not therein, though the example of the men of old hath gone before.
Mohsin Khan: 13:	They would not believe in it (the Qur'an); and already the example of (Allah's punishment of) the ancients (who disbelieved) has gone forth.
French 13:	Ils ne croiront pas en lui [le Messager ou le Coran] bien que se soit accompli le sort traditionnel des anciens.
Spanish 13:	pero no creen en él, a pesar del ejemplo que han dejado los antiguos.
Indonesian 13:	mereka tidak beriman kepadanya (Al Qur'an) dan sesungguhnya telah berlalu sunnatullah terhadap orang-orang dahulu.
Melayu 13:	Mereka tidak percaya kepada Al-Quran yang engkau bawa, padahal telahpun berlaku undang-undang membinasakan orang-orang yang telah lalu (yang mendustakan Rasul-rasulnya).
German 13:	Sie glauben nicht daran, obwohl sich das Beispiel der Früheren ereignet hat.
Russian 13:	Они не веруют в него (Коран), хотя уже были примеры первых поколений.
Bosnian 13:	oni u nj neće vjerovati, a zna se šta je bilo s narodima davnašnjim.
Urdu 13:	یہ لوگ قرآن پر ایمان نہیں لاتے اور یہ پہلوں کا دستور چلا آیا ہے
14	وَلَوْ فَتَحْنَا عَلَيْهِم بَابًا مِّنَ السَّمَاءِ فَظَلُّوا فِيهِ يَعْرُجُونَ
Transliteration 14:	Walaw fatahna AAalayhim baban mina alssamai fathalloo feehi yaAArujoona
Yusuf Ali 14:	Even if We opened out to them a gate from heaven, and they were to continue (all day) ascending therein,
Shakir 14:	And even if We open to them a gateway of heaven, so that they ascend into it all the while,
Pickthal 14:	And even if We opened unto them a gate of heaven and they kept mounting through it,
Mohsin Khan: 14:	And even if We opened to them a gate from the heaven and they were to keep on ascending thereto (all the day long)
French 14:	Et même si Nous ouvrions pour eux une porte du ciel, et qu'ils pussent y monter,
Spanish 14:	Aun si les abriéramos una puerta del cielo y pudieran ascender a él,
Indonesian 14:	Dan jika seandainya Kami membukakan kepada mereka salah satu dari (pintu-pintu) langit, lalu mereka terus menerus naik ke atasnya,
Melayu 14:	Dan kalau Kami bukakan kepada mereka mana-mana pintu langit, kemudian mereka dapat naik melalui pintu itu (pada siang hari yang membolehkan mereka menyaksikan segala kenyataan yang ada di sana);
German 14:	Und selbst wenn Wir ihnen ein Tor des Himmels öffneten und sie begännen dadurch hinaufzusteigen,
Russian 14:	И даже если бы Мы разверзли для них врата небесные, чтобы они поднялись туда,
Bosnian 14:	Kad bismo njih radi kapiju na nebu otvorili i oni se kroz nju uspinjali,
Urdu 14:	اور اگر ہم ان پر آسمان سے دروازہ کھول دیں پھراس میں سے چڑھ جائیں
15	لَقَالُوا إِنَّمَا سُكِّرَتْ أَبْصَارُنَا بَلْ نَحْنُ قَوْمٌ مَّسْحُورُونَ
Transliteration 15:	Laqaloo innama sukkirat absaruna bal nahnu qawmun mashooroona
Yusuf Ali 15:	They would only say: "Our eyes have been intoxicated: Nay, we have been bewitched by sorcery."
Shakir 15:	They would certainly say: Only our eyes have been covered over, rather we are an enchanted people.
Pickthal 15:	They would say: Our sight is wrong - nay, but we are folk bewitched.
Mohsin Khan: 15:	They would surely say (in the evening): "Our eyes have been (as if) dazzled (we have not seen any angel or heaven). Nay, we are a people bewitched."
French 15:	ils diraient: ‹Vraiment nos yeux sont voilés. Mais plutòt, nous sommes des gens ensorcelés›.
Spanish 15:	dirían: "Nuestra vista ha sido enturbiada nada más, o, más bien, somos gente a quienes se ha hechizado".
Indonesian 15:	tentulah mereka berkata: "Sesungguhnya pandangan kamilah yang dikaburkan, bahkan kami adalah orang-orang yang kena sihir".
Melayu 15:	Tentulah mereka akan (mengingkari kenyataan yang benar itu dengan) berkata: Hanya mata kami telah disilapkan penglihatannya bahkan kami adalah kaum yang telah disihirkan (oleh Muhammad).
German 15:	"sie würden gewiß sagen: ""Nur unsere Blicke sind benommen; wahrlich, man hat uns nur etwas vorgegaukelt.""
Russian 15:	они непременно сказали бы: «Наши взоры затуманены, а сами мы околдованы».
Bosnian 15:	opet bi oni, zacijelo, rekli: "Samo nam se pričinjava, mi smo ljudi opčinjeni!"
Urdu 15:	البتہ کہیں گے کہ ہماری نظر بندی کر دی گئی تھی بلکہ ہم پر جادو کیا گیا ہے
16	وَلَقَدْ جَعَلْنَا فِي السَّمَاءِ بُرُوجًا وَزَيَّنَّاهَا لِلنَّاظِرِينَ
Transliteration 16:	Walaqad jaAAalna fee alssamai buroojan wazayyannaha lilnnathireena
Yusuf Ali 16:	It is We Who have set out the zodiacal signs in the heavens, and made them fair-seeming to (all) beholders;
Shakir 16:	And certainly We have made strongholds in the heaven and We have made it fair seeming to the beholders.
Pickthal 16:	And verily in the heaven we have set mansions of the stars, and We have beautified it for beholders.
Mohsin Khan: 16:	And indeed, We have put the big stars in the heaven and We beautified it for the beholders.
French 16:	Certes Nous avons placé dans le ciel des constellations et Nous l'avons embelli pour ceux qui regardent.
Spanish 16:	Sí, hemos puesto constelaciones en el cielo, las hemos engalanado a las miradas,
Indonesian 16:	Dan sesungguhnya Kami telah menciptakan gugusan bintang-bintang (di langit) dan Kami telah menghiasi langit itu bagi orang-orang yang memandang (nya),
Melayu 16:	Dan demi sesungguhnya! Kami telah menjadikan di langit: Bintang-bintang (yang berbagai bentuk dan keadaan) serta Kami hiasi langit itu bagi orang-orang yang melihatnya.
German 16:	"Wahrlich, Wir haben Türme in den Himmel gesetzt und ihn für diejenigen, die ihn anschauen, ausgeschmückt.
Russian 16:	Воистину, Мы воздвигли на небе созвездия и украсили его для тех, кто смотрит.
Bosnian 16:	Mi smo na nebu sazviježđa stvorili i za one koji ih posmatraju ukrasili
Urdu 16:	او رالبتہ تحقیق ہم نے آسمان پر برج بنائے ہیں اور دیکھنے والو ں کی نطر میں اسے رونق دی ہے
17	وَحَفِظْنَاهَا مِن كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ رَّجِيمٍ
Transliteration 17:	Wahafithnaha min kulli shaytanin rajeemin
Yusuf Ali 17:	And (moreover) We have guarded them from every evil spirit accursed:
Shakir 17:	And We guard it against every accursed Shaitan,
Pickthal 17:	And We have guarded it from every outcast devil,
Mohsin Khan: 17:	And We have guarded it (near heaven) from every outcast Shaitan (devil).
French 17:	Et Nous l'avons protégé contre tout diable banni.
Spanish 17:	y las hemos protegido contra todo demonio maldito.
Indonesian 17:	dan Kami menjaganya dari tiap-tiap syaitan yang terkutuk,
Melayu 17:	Dan Kami pelihara (urusan) langit itu dari (masuk campur) tiap-tiap Syaitan yang kena rejam.
German 17:	Und Wir haben ihn vor jedem verfluchten Satan bewahrt;
Russian 17:	Мы предохранили его от всякого изгнанного и побиваемого дьявола.
Bosnian 17:	i čuvamo ih od svakog šejtana prokletog;
Urdu 17:	اور ہم نے اسے ہرشیطان مردود سے محفوظ رکھا
18	إِلَّا مَنِ اسْتَرَقَ السَّمْعَ فَأَتْبَعَهُ شِهَابٌ مُّبِينٌ
Transliteration 18:	Illa mani istaraqa alssamAAa faatbaAAahu shihabun mubeenun
Yusuf Ali 18:	But any that gains a hearing by stealth, is pursued by a flaming fire, bright (to see).
Shakir 18:	But he who steals a hearing, so there follows him a visible flame.
Pickthal 18:	Save him who stealeth the hearing, and them doth a clear flame pursue.
Mohsin Khan: 18:	Except him (devil) who steals the hearing then he is pursued by a clear flaming fire.
French 18:	A moins que l'un d'eux parvienne subrepticement à écouter, une flamme brillante alors le poursuit.
Spanish 18:	Pero, si uno de ellos escucha a hurtadillas, entonces, le persigue una llama brillante.
Indonesian 18:	kecuali syaitan yang mencuri-curi (berita) yang dapat didengar (dari malaikat) lalu dia dikejar oleh semburan api yang terang.
Melayu 18:	Kecuali Syaitan yang curi mendengar percakapan (malaikat di langit), maka ia diburu dan diikuti (dengan rejaman) api yang menyala, yang nyata kelihatan.
German 18:	außer vor jenem, der heimlich lauscht, (und den) dann eine wirkungsvolle Flamme verfolgt.
Russian 18:	А если он станет подслушивать украдкой, то за ним последует яркий светоч.
Bosnian 18:	a onoga koji kradom prisluškuje stiže svjetlica vidljiva.
Urdu 18:	مگر جس نے چوری سے سن لیا تو اس کے پیچھے چمکتا ہوا انگارہ پڑا
19	وَالْأَرْضَ مَدَدْنَاهَا وَأَلْقَيْنَا فِيهَا رَوَاسِيَ وَأَنبَتْنَا فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ شَيْءٍ مَّوْزُونٍ
Transliteration 19:	Waalarda madadnaha waalqayna feeha rawasiya waanbatna feeha min kulli shayin mawzoonin
Yusuf Ali 19:	And the earth We have spread out (like a carpet); set thereon mountains firm and immovable; and produced therein all kinds of things in due balance.
Shakir 19:	And the earth-- We have spread it forth and made in it firm mountains and caused to grow in it of every suitable thing.
Pickthal 19:	And the earth have We spread out, and placed therein firm hills, and caused each seemly thing to grow therein.
Mohsin Khan: 19:	And the earth We have spread out, and have placed therein firm mountains, and caused to grow therein all kinds of things in due proportion.
French 19:	Et quant à la terre, Nous l'avons étalée et y avons placé des montagnes (immobiles) et y avons fait pousser toute chose harmonieusement proportionnée.
Spanish 19:	Hemos extendido la tierra, colocado en ella firmes montañas y hecho crecer en ella de todo en la debida proporción.
Indonesian 19:	Dan Kami telah menghamparkan bumi dan menjadikan padanya gunung-gunung dan Kami tumbuhkan padanya segala sesuatu menurut ukuran.
Melayu 19:	Dan bumi ini Kami bentangkan dan Kami letakkan padanya gunung-ganang yang kukuh terdiri, serta Kami tumbuhkan padanya tiap-tiap sesuatu yang tertentu timbangannya.
German 19:	Und die Erde haben Wir ausgedehnt und darauf feste Berge gesetzt, und Wir ließen alles auf ihr wachsen, was ausgewogen ist.
Russian 19:	Мы простерли землю, поместили на ней незыблемые горы и взрастили на ней в меру всякие вещи.
Bosnian 19:	A Zemlju smo prostrli i po njoj nepomične planine razbacali i učinili da na njoj sve s mjerom raste,
Urdu 19:	اور ہم نے زمین کو پھیلایا اور اس پر پہاڑ رکھ دیے اوراس میں ہر چیز اندازے سے اگائی
20	وَجَعَلْنَا لَكُمْ فِيهَا مَعَايِشَ وَمَن لَّسْتُمْ لَهُ بِرَازِقِينَ
Transliteration 20:	WajaAAalna lakum feeha maAAayisha waman lastum lahu biraziqeena
Yusuf Ali 20:	And We have provided therein means of subsistence,- for you and for those for whose sustenance ye are not responsible.
Shakir 20:	And We have made in it means of subsistence for you and for him for whom you are not the suppliers.
Pickthal 20:	And we have given unto you livelihoods therein, and unto those for whom ye provide not.
Mohsin Khan: 20:	And We have provided therein means of living, for you and for those whom you provide not [moving (living) creatures, cattle, beasts, and other animals].
French 20:	Et Nous y avons placé des vivres pour vous, et (placé aussi pour vous) des êtres que vous ne nourrissez pas.
Spanish 20:	Y hemos puesto en ella subsistencias para vosotros y para quien no depende de vuestro sustento.
Indonesian 20:	Dan Kami telah menjadikan untukmu di bumi keperluan-keperluan hidup, dan (Kami menciptakan pula) makhluk-makhluk yang kamu sekali-kali bukan pemberi rezki kepadanya.
Melayu 20:	Dan Kami jadikan untuk kamu pada bumi ini segala keperluan hidup, juga Kami jadikan makhluk-makhluk yang kamu bukanlah orang yang sebenar menyediakan rezekinya.
German 20:	Und Wir schufen darauf Mittel zu eurem Unterhalt und dem derer, die ihr nicht versorgt.
Russian 20:	Мы предоставили на земле пропитание вам и тем, кого вы не кормите.
Bosnian 20:	i dajemo vam iz nje hranu, a i onima koje vi ne hranite.
Urdu 20:	اوراس میں تمہارے لیے روزی کے اسباب بنا دیئے اوران کے لیے بھی جنہیں تم روزی دینے والے نہیں ہو
21	وَإِن مِّن شَيْءٍ إِلَّا عِندَنَا خَزَائِنُهُ وَمَا نُنَزِّلُهُ إِلَّا بِقَدَرٍ مَّعْلُومٍ
Transliteration 21:	Wain min shayin illa AAindana khazainuhu wama nunazziluhu illa biqadarin maAAloomin
Yusuf Ali 21:	And there is not a thing but its (sources and) treasures (inexhaustible) are with Us; but We only send down thereof in due and ascertainable measures.
Shakir 21:	And there is not a thing but with Us are the treasures of it, and We do not send it down but in a known measure.
Pickthal 21:	And there is not a thing but with Us are the stores thereof. And we send it not down save in appointed measure.
Mohsin Khan: 21:	And there is not a thing, but with Us are the stores thereof. And We send it not down except in a known measure.
French 21:	Et il n'est rien dont Nous n'ayons les réserves et Nous ne le faisons descendre que dans une mesure déterminée.
Spanish 21:	No hay nada de que no dispongamos Nosotros tesoros. Pero no lo hacemos bajar sino con arreglo a una medida determinada.
Indonesian 21:	Dan tidak ada sesuatupun melainkan pada sisi Kami-lah khazanahnya; dan Kami tidak menurunkannya melainkan dengan ukuran yang tertentu.
Melayu 21:	Dan tidak ada sesuatupun melainkan pada sisi Kami sahaja perbendaharaannya dan Kami tidak menurunkannya melainkan dengan menurut kadar dan masa yang tertentu.
German 21:	Und es gibt nichts, von dem Wir keine Schätze hätten; aber Wir senden es nur in bestimmtem Maß hinab.
Russian 21:	Нет таких вещей, хранилищ которых не было бы у Нас, и ниспосылаем Мы их только в известной мере.
Bosnian 21:	I ne postoji ništa čije riznice ne posjedujemo, a od toga Mi dajemo samo onoliko koliko je potrebno.
Urdu 21:	او رہر چیز کے ہمارے پاس خزانے ہیں اورہم صرف اسے اندازہ معین پر نازل کرتے ہیں
22	وَأَرْسَلْنَا الرِّيَاحَ لَوَاقِحَ فَأَنزَلْنَا مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً فَأَسْقَيْنَاكُمُوهُ وَمَا أَنتُمْ لَهُ بِخَازِنِينَ
Transliteration 22:	Waarsalna alrriyaha lawaqiha faanzalna mina alssamai maan faasqaynakumoohu wama antum lahu bikhazineena
Yusuf Ali 22:	And We send the fecundating winds, then cause the rain to descend from the sky, therewith providing you with water (in abundance), though ye are not the guardians of its stores.
Shakir 22:	And We send the winds fertilizing, then send down water from the cloud so We give it to you to drink of, nor is it you who store it up.
Pickthal 22:	And We send the winds fertilising, and cause water to descend from the sky, and give it you to drink. It is not ye who are the holders of the store thereof.
Mohsin Khan: 22:	And We send the winds fertilizing (to fill heavily the clouds with water), then cause the water (rain) to descend from the sky, and We give it to you to drink, and it is not you who are the owners of its stores [i.e. to give water to whom you like or to withhold it from whom you like].
French 22:	Et Nous envoyons les vents fécondants; et Nous faisons alors descendre du ciel une eau dont Nous vous abreuvons et que vous n'êtes pas en mesure de conserver.
Spanish 22:	Hemos enviado los vientos, que fecundan, y hacemos bajar del cielo agua, de la que os damos a beber y que no sabéis conservar.
Indonesian 22:	Dan Kami telah meniupkan angin untuk mengawinkan (tumbuh-tumbuhan) dan Kami turunkan hujan dari langit, lalu Kami beri minum kamu dengan air itu, dan sekali-kali bukanlah kamu yang menyimpannya.
Melayu 22:	Dan Kami hantarkan angin sebagai pembawa air dan pemindah benih; maka dengan itu Kami menurunkan air (hujan) dari langit, kemudian Kami berikan kamu meminumnya; dan bukanlah kamu yang (berkuasa menurunkannya atau) menyimpannya.
German 22:	Und Wir senden die fruchtbar machenden Winde (hinab). Dann senden Wir Wasser aus den Wolken nieder, dann geben Wir es euch zu trinken; und ihr hättet es nicht aufspeichern können.
Russian 22:	Мы послали ветры, оплодотворяющие облака водой, а потом низвели с неба воду и напоили вас ею, но не вам ее сберегать.
Bosnian 22:	Mi šaljemo vjetrove da oplođuju, a iz neba spuštamo kišu da imate šta piti - vi time ne možete raspolagati.
Urdu 22:	اور ہم نے بادل اٹھانے والی ہوائیں بھیجیں پھر ہم نے آسمان سے پانی نازل کیا پھر وہ تمہیں پلایا اور تمہارے پاس اس کا خزانہ نہیں ہے
23	وَإِنَّا لَنَحْنُ نُحْيِي وَنُمِيتُ وَنَحْنُ الْوَارِثُونَ
Transliteration 23:	Wainna lanahnu nuhyee wanumeetu wanahnu alwarithoona
Yusuf Ali 23:	And verily, it is We Who give life, and Who give death: it is We Who remain inheritors (after all else passes away).
Shakir 23:	And most surely We bring to life and cause to die and We are the heirs.
Pickthal 23:	Lo! and it is We, even We, Who quicken and give death, and We are the Inheritor.
Mohsin Khan: 23:	And certainly We! We it is Who give life, and cause death, and We are the Inheritors.
French 23:	Et c'est bien Nous qui donnons la vie et donnons la mort, et c'est Nous qui sommes l'héritier [de tout].
Spanish 23:	Somos Nosotros, sí, Quienes damos la vida y la muerte, Nosotros los Herederos.
Indonesian 23:	Dan sesungguhnya benar-benar Kami-lah yang menghidupkan dan mematikan dan Kami (pulalah) yang mewarisi.
Melayu 23:	Dan sesungguhnya Kamilah yang menghidupkan dan yang mematikan dan Kamilah yang kekal memiliki segala-galanya.
German 23:	Und wahrlich, Wir Selbst machen lebendig und lassen sterben; und Wir allein sind die Erben.
Russian 23:	Воистину, Мы даруем жизнь и умерщвляем, и Мы наследуем.
Bosnian 23:	I samo Mi dajemo život i smrt, i samo smo Mi vječni,
Urdu 23:	اور بے شک ہم ہی زندہ کرتے اور مارتے ہیں اورا خیر مالک بھی ہم ہی ہیں
24	وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْنَا الْمُسْتَقْدِمِينَ مِنكُمْ وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْنَا الْمُسْتَأْخِرِينَ
Transliteration 24:	Walaqad AAalimna almustaqdimeena minkum walaqad AAalimna almustakhireena
Yusuf Ali 24:	To Us are known those of you who hasten forward, and those who lag behind.
Shakir 24:	And certainly We know those of you who have gone before and We certainly know those who shall come later.
Pickthal 24:	And verily We know the eager among you and verily We know the laggards.
Mohsin Khan: 24:	And indeed, We know the first generations of you who had passed away, and indeed, We know the present generations of you (mankind), and also those who will come afterwards.
French 24:	Et Nous connaissons certes ceux qui parmi vous ont avancé et Nous connaissons ceux qui tardent encore.
Spanish 24:	Ciertamente, conocemos a los que de vosotros se adelantan y, ciertamente, conocemos a los que se retrasan.
Indonesian 24:	Dan sesungguhnya Kami telah mengetahui orang-orang yang terdahulu daripada-mu dan sesungguhnya Kami mengetahui pula orang-orang yang terkemudian (daripadamu).
Melayu 24:	Dan sesungguhnya Kami telah mengetahui orang-orang yang segera (berbakti) di antara kamu dan sesungguhnya Kami telah mengetahui orang-orang yang lambat.
German 24:	Und Wir kennen wohl jene unter euch, die voranschreiten, und Wir kennen wohl jene, die zurückbleiben.
Russian 24:	Воистину, Мы знаем тех, кто жил прежде, и тех, кому суждено жить после них.
Bosnian 24:	i samo Mi znamo one koji su vam prethodili, i samo Mi znamo one koji će poslije doći,
Urdu 24:	اور ہمیں تم میں سے اگلے او رپچھلے سب معلوم کر لیں
25	وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ ۚ إِنَّهُ حَكِيمٌ عَلِيمٌ
Transliteration 25:	Wainna rabbaka huwa yahshuruhum innahu hakeemun AAaleemun
Yusuf Ali 25:	Assuredly it is thy Lord Who will gather them together: for He is perfect in Wisdom and Knowledge.
Shakir 25:	And surely your Lord will gather them together; surely He is Wise, Knowing.
Pickthal 25:	Lo! thy Lord will gather them together. Lo! He is Wise, Aware.
Mohsin Khan: 25:	And verily, your Lord will gather them together. Truly, He is All-Wise, All-Knowing.
French 25:	Certes, c'est ton Seigneur qui les rassemblera. Car c'est lui le Sage, l'Omniscient.
Spanish 25:	Tu Señor es Quien les congregará. Él es sabio, omnisciente.
Indonesian 25:	Sesungguhnya Tuhanmu, Dia-lah yang akan menghimpunkan mereka. Sesungguhnya Dia adalah Maha Bijaksana lagi Maha Mengetahui.
Melayu 25:	Dan sesungguhnya Tuhanmu, Dialah yang menghimpunkan mereka semuanya; sesungguhnya Dia Maha Bijaksana, lagi Maha Mengetahui.
German 25:	Und wahrlich, es ist dein Herr, Der sie versammeln wird. Siehe, Er ist Allweise, Allwissend.
Russian 25:	Воистину, твой Господь соберет их всех, ведь Он – Мудрый, Знающий.
Bosnian 25:	a On, Gospodar tvoj će ih, zaista, sve sabrati. On je mudar i sve zna.
Urdu 25:	اور بے شک تیرا رب ہی انہیں جمع کرے گا بے شک وہ حکمت والا خبردار ہے
26	وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْإِنسَانَ مِن صَلْصَالٍ مِّنْ حَمَإٍ مَّسْنُونٍ
Transliteration 26:	Walaqad khalaqna alinsana min salsalin min hamain masnoonin
Yusuf Ali 26:	We created man from sounding clay, from mud moulded into shape;
Shakir 26:	And certainly We created man of clay that gives forth sound, of black mud fashioned in shape.
Pickthal 26:	Verily We created man of potter's clay of black mud altered,
Mohsin Khan: 26:	And indeed, We created man from dried (sounding) clay of altered mud.
French 26:	Nous créâmes l'homme d'une argile crissante, extraite d'une boue malléable.
Spanish 26:	Hemos creado al hombre de barro arcilloso, maleable,
Indonesian 26:	Dan sesungguhnya Kami telah menciptakan manusia (Adam) dari tanah liat kering (yang berasal) dari lumpur hitam yang diberi bentuk.
Melayu 26:	Dan sesungguhnya Kami telah menciptakan manusia (Adam) dari tanah liat yang kering, yang berasal dari tanah kental yang berubah warna dan baunya.
German 26:	Und wahrlich, Wir haben den Menschen aus Lehm, aus geformter Tonmasse erschaffen.
Russian 26:	Мы сотворили человека из сухой звонкой глины, полученной из видоизмененной грязи.
Bosnian 26:	Mi smo stvorili Adema od ilovače, od blata ustajalog,
Urdu 26:	اور البتہ تحقیق ہم نے انسان کو بجتی ہوئی مٹی سے جو سڑے ہوئے گارے سے تھی پیدا کیا
27	وَالْجَانَّ خَلَقْنَاهُ مِن قَبْلُ مِن نَّارِ السَّمُومِ
Transliteration 27:	Waaljanna khalaqnahu min qablu min nari alssamoomi
Yusuf Ali 27:	And the Jinn race, We had created before, from the fire of a scorching wind.
Shakir 27:	And the jinn We created before, of intensely hot fire.
Pickthal 27:	And the jinn did We create aforetime of essential fire.
Mohsin Khan: 27:	And the jinn, We created aforetime from the smokeless flame of fire.
French 27:	Et quand au djinn, Nous l'avions auparavant créé d'un feu d'une chaleur ardente.
Spanish 27:	mientras que a los genios los habíamos creado antes de fuego de viento abrasador.
Indonesian 27:	Dan Kami telah menciptakan jin sebelum (Adam) dari api yang sangat panas.
Melayu 27:	Dan jin pula, Kami jadikan dia sebelum itu, dari angin api yang panasnya menyerap ke liang bulu roma.
German 27:	Und die Dschinn erschufen Wir zuvor aus dem Feuer der sengenden Glut.
Russian 27:	А еще раньше Мы сотворили джиннов из палящего пламени.
Bosnian 27:	a još prije smo stvorili džine od vatre užarene.
Urdu 27:	اور ہم نے اس سے پہلے جنوں کو آگ کے شعلے سے بنایا تھا
28	وَإِذْ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلَائِكَةِ إِنِّي خَالِقٌ بَشَرًا مِّن صَلْصَالٍ مِّنْ حَمَإٍ مَّسْنُونٍ
Transliteration 28:	Waith qala rabbuka lilmalaikati innee khaliqun basharan min salsalin min hamain masnoonin
Yusuf Ali 28:	Behold! thy Lord said to the angels: "I am about to create man, from sounding clay from mud moulded into shape;
Shakir 28:	And when your Lord said to the angels: Surely I am going to create a mortal of the essence of black mud fashioned in shape.
Pickthal 28:	And (remember) when thy Lord said unto the angels: Lo! I am creating a mortal out of potter's clay of black mud altered,
Mohsin Khan: 28:	And (remember) when your Lord said to the angels: "I am going to create a man (Adam) from dried (sounding) clay of altered mud.
French 28:	Et lorsque ton Seigneur dit aux Anges: ‹Je vais créer un homme d'argile crissante, extraite d'une boue malléable,
Spanish 28:	Y cuando tu Señor dijo a los ángeles: "Voy a crear a un mortal de barro arcilloso, maleable,
Indonesian 28:	Dan (ingatlah), ketika Tuhanmu berfirman kepada para malaikat: "Sesungguhnya Aku akan menciptakan seorang manusia dari tanah liat kering (yang berasal) dari lumpur hitam yang diberi bentuk.
Melayu 28:	Dan (ingatkanlah peristiwa) ketika Tuhanmu berfirman kepada malaikat: Sesungguhnya Aku hendak menciptakan manusia dari tanah liat yang kering, yang berasal dari tanah kental yang berubah warna dan baunya.
German 28:	"Und damals sprach dein Herr zu den Engeln: ""Ich bin im Begriff, den Menschen aus Lehm, aus geformter Tonmasse, zu erschaffen,.
Russian 28:	Вот твой Господь сказал ангелам: «Воистину, я сотворю человека из сухой звонкой глины, полученной из видоизмененной грязи.
Bosnian 28:	I kad Gospodar tvoj reče melekima: "Ja ću stvoriti čovjeka od ilovače, od blata ustajalog,
Urdu 28:	اور جب تیرے رب نے فرشتوں سے کہا کہ میں ایک بشر کو بجتی ہوئی مٹی سے جو کےسڑے ہوئے گارے کی ہو گی پیدا کرنے والا ہوں
29	فَإِذَا سَوَّيْتُهُ وَنَفَخْتُ فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِي فَقَعُوا لَهُ سَاجِدِينَ
Transliteration 29:	Faitha sawwaytuhu wanafakhtu feehi min roohee faqaAAoo lahu sajideena
Yusuf Ali 29:	"When I have fashioned him (in due proportion) and breathed into him of My spirit, fall ye down in obeisance unto him."
Shakir 29:	So when I have made him complete and breathed into him of My spirit, fall down making obeisance to him.
Pickthal 29:	So, when I have made him and have breathed into him of My Spirit, do ye fall down, prostrating yourselves unto him.
Mohsin Khan: 29:	"So, when I have fashioned him completely and breathed into him (Adam) the soul which I created for him, then fall (you) down prostrating yourselves unto him."
French 29:	et dès que Je l'aurais harmonieusement formé et lui aurait insufflé Mon souffle de vie, jetez-vous alors, prosternés devant lui›.
Spanish 29:	y, cuando lo haya formado armoniosamente e infundido en él de Mi Espíritu, caed prosternados ante él".
Indonesian 29:	Maka apabila Aku telah menyempurnakan kejadiannya, dan telah meniupkan ke dalamnya ruh (ciptaan) Ku, maka tunduklah kamu kepadanya dengan bersujud .
Melayu 29:	Kemudian apabila Aku sempurnakan kejadiannya, serta Aku tiupkan padanya roh dari (ciptaanku) maka hendaklah kamu sujud kepadanya.
German 29:	""Wenn Ich ihn nun vollkommen geformt und ihm Meinen Geist eingehaucht habe, dann werft euch vor ihm nieder.""
Russian 29:	Когда же Я придам ему соразмерный облик и вдохну в него от Моего духа, то падите перед ним ниц».
Bosnian 29:	i kad mu dam lik i u nj udahnem dušu, vi mu se poklonite!”
Urdu 29:	پھر جب میں اسے ٹھیک بنالوں اور اس میں اپنی روح پھونک دوں تو تم اس کے آگے سجدہ میں گر پڑنا
30	فَسَجَدَ الْمَلَائِكَةُ كُلُّهُمْ أَجْمَعُونَ
Transliteration 30:	Fasajada almalaikatu kulluhum ajmaAAoona
Yusuf Ali 30:	So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together:
Shakir 30:	So the angels made obeisance, all of them together,

Transliteration 31:	Illa ibleesa aba an yakoona maAAa alssajideena
Yusuf Ali 31:	Not so Iblis: he refused to be among those who prostrated themselves.
Shakir 31:	But Iblis (did it not); he refused to be with those who made obeisance.
Pickthal 31:	Save Iblis. He refused to be among the prostrate.
Mohsin Khan: 31:	Except Iblis (Satan) - he refused to be among the prostrators.
French 31:	excepté Iblis qui refusa d'être avec les prosternés.
Spanish 31:	excepto Iblis, que rehusó unirse a los que se prosternaban.

32	قَالَ يَا إِبْلِيسُ مَا لَكَ أَلَّا تَكُونَ مَعَ السَّاجِدِينَ
Transliteration 32:	Qala ya ibleesu ma laka alla takoona maAAa alssajideena
Yusuf Ali 32:	((Allah)) said: "O Iblis! what is your reason for not being among those who prostrated themselves?"
Shakir 32:	He said: O Iblis! what excuse have you that you are not with those who make obeisance?
Pickthal 32:	He said: O Iblis! What aileth thee that thou art not among the prostrate?
Mohsin Khan: 32:	(Allah) said: "O Iblis (Satan)! What is your reason for not being among the prostrators?"
French 32:	Alors [Allah] dit: ‹Ô Iblis, pourquoi n'es-tu pas au nombre des prosternés?›
Spanish 32:	Dijo: "¡Iblis! ¿Qué tienes, que no te unes a los que se prosternan?"
Indonesian 32:	Allah berfirman: "Hai iblis, apa sebabnya kamu tidak (ikut sujud) bersama-sama mereka yang sujud itu?"
Melayu 32:	Allah berfirman: Hai Iblis! Apa sebabnya engkau tidak turut bersama mereka yang sujud itu?.
German 32:	"Er sprach: ""O Iblis, was ist mit dir, daß du nicht unter den Sich-Niederwerfenden sein wolltest?""

Urdu 32:	فرمایا اے ابلیس! تجھے کیا ہوا کہ سجدہ کرنے والوں کے ساتھ نہ ہوا
33	قَالَ لَمْ أَكُن لِّأَسْجُدَ لِبَشَرٍ خَلَقْتَهُ مِن صَلْصَالٍ مِّنْ حَمَإٍ مَّسْنُونٍ
Transliteration 33:	Qala lam akun liasjuda libasharin khalaqtahu min salsalin min hamain masnoonin
Yusuf Ali 33:	(Iblis) said: "I am not one to prostrate myself to man, whom Thou didst create from sounding clay, from mud moulded into shape."
Shakir 33:	He said: I am not such that I should make obeisance to a mortal whom Thou hast created of the essence of black mud fashioned in shape.
Pickthal 33:	He said: I am not one to prostrate myself unto a mortal whom Thou hast created out of potter's clay of black mud altered!
Mohsin Khan: 33:	[Iblis (Satan)] said: "I am not the one to prostrate myself to a human being, whom You created from dried (sounding) clay of altered mud."
French 33:	Il dit: ‹Je ne puis me prosterner devant un homme que Tu as créé d'argile crissante, extraite d'une boue malléable›.
Spanish 33:	Dijo: "Yo no voy a prosternarme ante un mortal que Tú has creado de barro arcilloso, maleable".
Indonesian 33:	Berkata Iblis: "Aku sekali-kali tidak akan sujud kepada manusia yang Engkau telah menciptakannya dari tanah liat kering (yang berasal) dari lumpur hitam yang diberi bentuk".
Melayu 33:	Iblis menjawab: Aku tidak patut sujud kepada manusia yang Engkau jadikan dia dari tanah liat yang kering, yang berasal dari tanah kental yang berubah warna dan baunya.
German 33:	""Er sprach: ""Nimmermehr werde ich mich vor einem Menschen niederwerfen, den Du aus Lehm, aus geformter Tonmasse erschaffen hast.""
Russian 33:	Он сказал: «Не подобает мне падать ниц перед человеком, которого Ты сотворил из сухой звонкой глины, полученной из видоизмененной грязи».
Bosnian 33:	"Nije moje" - reče - "da se poklonim čovjeku koga si stvorio od ilovače, od blata ustajalog."
Urdu 33:	کہا میں ایسا نہ تھا کہ ایک ایسے بشر کو سجدہ کروں جسے تو نے بجتی ہوئی مٹی سے جو سڑے ہوئے گارے کی تھی پیدا کیا ہے
34	قَالَ فَاخْرُجْ مِنْهَا فَإِنَّكَ رَجِيمٌ
Transliteration 34:	Qala faokhruj minha fainnaka rajeemun
Yusuf Ali 34:	((Allah)) said: "Then get thee out from here; for thou art rejected, accursed.
Shakir 34:	He said: Then get out of it, for surely you are driven away:
Pickthal 34:	He said: Then go thou forth from hence, for lo! thou art outcast.
Mohsin Khan: 34:	(Allah) said: "Then, get out from here, for verily, you are Rajim (an outcast or a cursed one)." [Tafsir At-Tabari]
French 34:	- Et [Allah] dit: ‹Sors de là [du Paradis], car te voilà banni!
Spanish 34:	Dijo: "¡Sal de aquí! ¡Eres un maldito!

Urdu 34:	کہا تو آسمان سے نکل جا بے شک تو مردود ہو گیا
35	وَإِنَّ عَلَيْكَ اللَّعْنَةَ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ
Transliteration 35:	Wainna AAalayka allaAAnata ila yawmi alddeeni
Yusuf Ali 35:	"And the curse shall be on thee till the day of Judgment."
Shakir 35:	And surely on you is curse until the day of judgment.
Pickthal 35:	And lo! the curse shall be upon thee till the Day of Judgment.
Mohsin Khan: 35:	"And verily, the curse shall be upon you till the Day of Recompense (i.e. the Day of Resurrection)."
French 35:	Et malédiction sur toi, jusqu'au Jour de la rétribution!›
Spanish 35:	¡La maldición te perseguirá hasta el día del Juicio!"
Indonesian 35:	dan sesungguhnya kutukan itu tetap menimpamu sampai hari kiamat".

Urdu 35:	اور بے شک تجھ پر قیامت کے دن تک لعنت رہے گی
36	قَالَ رَبِّ فَأَنظِرْنِي إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ
Transliteration 36:	Qala rabbi faanthirnee ila yawmi yubAAathoona
Yusuf Ali 36:	(Iblis) said: "O my Lord! give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are raised."
Shakir 36:	He said: My Lord! then respite me till the time when they are raised.
Pickthal 36:	He said: My Lord! Reprieve me till the day when they are raised.
Mohsin Khan: 36:	[Iblis (Satan)] said: "O my Lord! Give me then respite till the Day they (the dead) will be resurrected."
French 36:	- Il dit: ‹Ô mon Seigneur, donne-moi donc un délai jusqu'au jour où ils (les gens) seront ressuscités›.
Spanish 36:	Dijo, "¡Señor, déjame esperar hasta el día de la Resurreción!"
Indonesian 36:	Berkata iblis: "Ya Tuhanku, (kalau begitu) maka beri tangguhlah kepadaku sampai hari (manusia) dibangkitkan" .
Melayu 36:	Iblis berkata: Wahai Tuhanku! Jika demikian, berilah tempoh kepadaku hingga ke hari mereka dibangitkan (hari kiamat).
German 36:	""Er sprach: ""Mein Herr, so gewähre mir einen Aufschub bis zu dem Tage, an dem sie auferweckt werden.""
Russian 36:	Он сказал: «Господи! Предоставь мне отсрочку до того дня, когда они будут воскрешены».

Transliteration 37:	Qala fainnaka mina almunthareena
Yusuf Ali 37:	((Allah)) said: "Respite is granted thee
Shakir 37:	He said: So surely you are of the respited ones
Pickthal 37:	He said: Then lo! thou art of those reprieved
Mohsin Khan: 37:	Allah said: "Then, verily, you are of those reprieved,

German 37:	""Er sprach: ""Du bist unter denen, die Aufschub erlangen

38	إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ الْوَقْتِ الْمَعْلُومِ

Yusuf Ali 38:	"Till the Day of the Time appointed."
Shakir 38:	Till the period of the time made known.
Pickthal 38:	Till the Day of appointed time.
Mohsin Khan: 38:	"Till the Day of the time appointed."
French 38:	jusqu'au jour de l'instant connu› [d'Allah].

39	قَالَ رَبِّ بِمَا أَغْوَيْتَنِي لَأُزَيِّنَنَّ لَهُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَأُغْوِيَنَّهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
Transliteration 39:	Qala rabbi bima aghwaytanee laozayyinanna lahum fee alardi walaoghwiyannahum ajmaAAeena
Yusuf Ali 39:	(Iblis) said: "O my Lord! because Thou hast put me in the wrong, I will make (wrong) fair-seeming to them on the earth, and I will put them all in the wrong,-
Shakir 39:	He said: My Lord! because Thou hast made life evil to me, I will certainly make (evil) fair-seeming to them on earth, and I will certainly cause them all to deviate
Pickthal 39:	He said: My Lord! Because Thou hast sent me astray, I verily shall adorn the path of error for them in the earth, and shall mislead them every one,
Mohsin Khan: 39:	[Iblis (Satan)] said: "O my Lord! Because you misled me, I shall indeed adorn the path of error for them (mankind) on the earth, and I shall mislead them all.
French 39:	- Il dit: ‹Ô mon Seigneur, parce que Tu m'as induit en erreur, eh bien je leur enjoliverai la vie sur terre et les égarerai tous,
Spanish 39:	Dijo: "¡Señor! Por haberme Tú descarriado, he de engalanarles en la tierra y he de descarriarles a todos,
Indonesian 39:	Iblis berkata: "Ya Tuhanku, oleh sebab Engkau telah memutuskan bahwa aku sesat pasti aku akan menjadikan mereka memandang baik (perbuatan ma'siat) di muka bumi, dan pasti aku akan menyesatkan mereka semuanya,
Melayu 39:	Iblis berkata: Wahai Tuhanku! Kerana Engkau telah menjadikan daku sesat, (maka) demi sesungguhnya aku akan memperelokkan segala jenis maksiat kepada Adam dan zuriatnya di dunia ini dan aku akan menyesatkan mereka semuanya,
German 39:	""Er sprach: ""Mein Herr, da Du mich hast abirren lassen, so will ich ihnen wahrlich (das Böse) auf Erden ausschmücken, und wahrlich, ich will sie allesamt irreführen,
Russian 39:	Он сказал: «Господи! За то, что Ты ввел меня в заблуждение, я приукрашу для них земное и непременно совращу их всех,
Bosnian 39:	"Gospodaru moj," - reče - "zato što si me u zabludu doveo, ja ću njima na Zemlji poroke lijepim predstaviti i potrudiću se da ih sve zavedem,
Urdu 39:	کہا اے میرے رب! جیسا تو نے مجھے گمراہ لیا ہے البتہ ضرور ضرور میں زمین میں انہیں ان کے گناہوں کو مرغوب کر کے دکھاؤں گا اور ان سب کو گمراہ کروں گا
40	إِلَّا عِبَادَكَ مِنْهُمُ الْمُخْلَصِينَ
Transliteration 40:	Illa AAibadaka minhumu almukhlaseena
Yusuf Ali 40:	"Except Thy servants among them, sincere and purified (by Thy Grace)."
Shakir 40:	Except Thy servants from among them, the devoted ones.
Pickthal 40:	Save such of them as are Thy perfectly devoted slaves.
Mohsin Khan: 40:	"Except Your chosen, (guided) slaves among them."
French 40:	à l'exception, parmi eux, de Tes serviteurs élus.›
Spanish 40:	salvo a aquéllos que sean siervos Tuyos escogidos".
Indonesian 40:	kecuali hamba-hamba Engkau yang mukhlis di antara mereka".

41	قَالَ هَـٰذَا صِرَاطٌ عَلَيَّ مُسْتَقِيمٌ
Transliteration 41:	Qala hatha siratun AAalayya mustaqeemun
Yusuf Ali 41:	((Allah)) said: "This (way of My sincere servants) is indeed a way that leads straight to Me.
Shakir 41:	He said: This is a right way with Me:
Pickthal 41:	He said: This is a right course incumbent upon Me:
Mohsin Khan: 41:	(Allah) said: "This is the Way which will lead straight to Me."
French 41:	- ‹[Allah] dit: voici une voie droite [qui mène] vers Moi.
Spanish 41:	Dijo: "Esto es, para Mí, una vía recta.
Indonesian 41:	Allah berfirman: "Ini adalah jalan yang lurus; kewajiban Aku-lah (menjaganya) .
Melayu 41:	Allah berfirman: Inilah satu jalan yang lurus, yang tetap Aku memeliharanya.
German 41:	""Er sprach: ""Dies ist ein gerader Weg, den Ich (dir) gewähre.
Russian 41:	Он сказал: «Это – путь, ведущий прямо ко Мне.
Bosnian 41:	"Ove ću se istine Ja držati" - reče On:
Urdu 41:	فرمایا یہ راستہ مجھ پر سیدھا ہے
42	إِنَّ عِبَادِي لَيْسَ لَكَ عَلَيْهِمْ سُلْطَانٌ إِلَّا مَنِ اتَّبَعَكَ مِنَ الْغَاوِينَ
Transliteration 42:	Inna AAibadee laysa laka AAalayhim sultanun illa mani ittabaAAaka mina alghaweena
Yusuf Ali 42:	"For over My servants no authority shalt thou have, except such as put themselves in the wrong and follow thee."
Shakir 42:	Surely. as regards My servants, you have no authority ,over them except those who follow you of the deviators.
Pickthal 42:	Lo! as for My slaves, thou hast no power over any of them save such of the froward as follow thee,
Mohsin Khan: 42:	"Certainly, you shall have no authority over My slaves, except those who follow you of the Ghawun (Mushrikun and those who go astray, criminals, polytheists, and evil-doers).
French 42:	Sur Mes serviteurs tu n'auras aucune autorité, excepté sur celui qui te suivra parmi les dévoyés.
Spanish 42:	Tú no tienes poder alguno sobre Mis siervos, salvo sobre los descarriados que te sigan".
Indonesian 42:	Sesungguhnya hamba-hamba-Ku tidak ada kekuasaan bagimu terhadap mereka, kecuali orang-orang yang mengikut kamu, yaitu orang-orang yang sesat.
Melayu 42:	Sesungguhnya hamba-hambaKu, tidaklah ada bagimu sebarang kuasa untuk menyesatkan mereka, kecuali sesiapa yang menurutmu dari orang-orang yang sesat (dengan pilihannya sendiri).
German 42:	""Wahrlich, du sollst keine Macht über Meine Diener haben, bis auf jene der Verführten, die dir folgen.""
Russian 42:	Воистину, ты не властен над Моими рабами, за исключением заблудших, которые последуют за тобой».
Bosnian 42:	"Ti nećeš imati nikakve vlasti nad robovima Mojim, osim nad onima koji te budu slijedili, od onih zalutalih."
Urdu 42:	بے شک میرے بندوں پر تیرا کچھ بھی بس نہیں چلے گا مگر جو گمراہوں میں سے تیرا تابعدار ہوا
43	وَإِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ لَمَوْعِدُهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
Transliteration 43:	Wainna jahannama lamawAAiduhum ajmaAAeena
Yusuf Ali 43:	And verily, Hell is the promised abode for them all!
Shakir 43:	And surely Hell is the promised place of them all:
Pickthal 43:	And lo! for all such, hell will be the promised place.
Mohsin Khan: 43:	"And surely, Hell is the promised place for them all.
French 43:	Et l'Enfer sera sûrement leur lieu de rendez-vous à tous.
Spanish 43:	La gehena es el lugar de cita de todos ellos.
Indonesian 43:	Dan sesungguhnya Jahannam itu benar-benar tempat yang telah diancamkan kepada mereka (pengikut-pengikut syaitan) semuanya.
Melayu 43:	Dan sesungguhnya Neraka Jahannam itu, tempat yang dijanjikan bagi sekalian mereka (yang menurutmu).
German 43:	"Und wahrlich, Dschahannam ist ihnen allen der verheißene Ort.
Russian 43:	Воистину, Геенна – это место, обещанное всем им.
Bosnian 43:	Za sve njih mjesto sastanka Džehennem će biti,
Urdu 43:	اور بے شک ان سب کا وعدہ دوزخ پر ہے
44	لَهَا سَبْعَةُ أَبْوَابٍ لِّكُلِّ بَابٍ مِّنْهُمْ جُزْءٌ مَّقْسُومٌ
Transliteration 44:	Laha sabAAatu abwabin likulli babin minhum juzon maqsoomun
Yusuf Ali 44:	To it are seven gates: for each of those gates is a (special) class (of sinners) assigned.
Shakir 44:	It has seven gates; for every gate there shall be a separate party of them.
Pickthal 44:	It hath seven gates, and each gate hath an appointed portion.
Mohsin Khan: 44:	"It (Hell) has seven gates, for each of those gates is a (special) class (of sinners) assigned.
French 44:	Il a sept portes; et chaque porte en a sa part dèterminèe".
Spanish 44:	Tiene siete puertas y cada una tendrá un grupo definido de ellos.
Indonesian 44:	Jahannam itu mempunyai tujuh pintu. Tiap-tiap pintu (telah ditetapkan) untuk golongan yang tertentu dari mereka.

German 44:	Sieben Tore hat sie, und jedem Tor ist ein Teil von ihnen zugewiesen.
Russian 44:	Там – семь врат, и для каждых врат предназначена определенная их часть.
Bosnian 44:	on će sedam kapija imati i kroz svaku će određen broj njih proći.
Urdu 44:	اس کے سات دروازے ہیں ہر دروازے کے لیے ان کے الگ الگ حصے ہیں
45	إِنَّ الْمُتَّقِينَ فِي جَنَّاتٍ وَعُيُونٍ
Transliteration 45:	Inna almuttaqeena fee jannatin waAAuyoonin
Yusuf Ali 45:	The righteous (will be) amid gardens and fountains (of clear-flowing water).
Shakir 45:	Surely those who guard (against evil) shall be in the midst of gardens and fountains:
Pickthal 45:	Lo! those who ward off (evil) are among gardens and watersprings.
Mohsin Khan: 45:	"Truly! The Muttaqun (the pious - See V.2:2) will be amidst Gardens and water-springs (Paradise).
French 45:	Certes, les pieux seront dans des jardins avec des sources.
Spanish 45:	Los temerosos de Alá estarán entre jardines y fuentes.
Indonesian 45:	Sesungguhnya orang-orang yang bertakwa itu berada dalam surga (taman-taman) dan (di dekat) mata air-mata air (yang mengalir).
Melayu 45:	Sesungguhnya orang-orang yang bertakwa adalah ditempatkan di dalam beberapa taman Syurga, dengan mata air-mata air terpancar padanya.
German 45:	Wahrlich, die Gottesfürchtigen werden sich in Gärten und an Quellen befinden.
Russian 45:	Воистину, богобоязненные пребудут в Райских садах и среди источников.
Bosnian 45:	oni koji su se Allaha bojali i onog što im je zabranjeno klonili, oni će u džennetskim baščama pored izvora biti.
Urdu 45:	بے شک پرہیزگار باغوں اور چشموں میں رہیں گے
46	ادْخُلُوهَا بِسَلَامٍ آمِنِينَ
Transliteration 46:	Odkhulooha bisalamin amineena
Yusuf Ali 46:	(Their greeting will be): "Enter ye here in peace and security."
Shakir 46:	Enter them in peace, secure.
Pickthal 46:	(And it is said unto them): Enter them in peace, secure.
Mohsin Khan: 46:	"(It will be said to them): 'Enter therein (Paradise), in peace and security.'

47	وَنَزَعْنَا مَا فِي صُدُورِهِم مِّنْ غِلٍّ إِخْوَانًا عَلَىٰ سُرُرٍ مُّتَقَابِلِينَ
Transliteration 47:	WanazaAAna ma fee sudoorihim min ghillin ikhwanan AAala sururin mutaqabileena
Yusuf Ali 47:	And We shall remove from their hearts any lurking sense of injury: (they will be) brothers (joyfully) facing each other on thrones (of dignity).
Shakir 47:	And We will root out whatever of rancor is in their breasts-- (they shall be) as brethren, on raised couches, face to face.
Pickthal 47:	And We remove whatever rancour may be in their breasts. As brethren, face to face, (they rest) on couches raised.
Mohsin Khan: 47:	"And We shall remove from their breasts any deep feeling of bitterness (that they may have). (So they will be like) brothers facing each other on thrones.
French 47:	Et Nous aurons arraché toute rancune de leurs poitrines: et ils se sentiront frères, faisant face les uns aux autres sur des lits.
Spanish 47:	Extirparemos el rencor que quede en sus pechos. Serán como hermanos, en lechos, unos enfrente de otros.

German 47:	"Und Wir wollen hinwegnehmen, was an Groll in ihren Herzen sein mag; brüderlich (sollen sie) auf Ruhesitzen einander gegenüber sitzen.
Russian 47:	Мы исторгнем из их сердец злобу, и они, как братья, будут лежать на ложах, обратившись лицом друг к другу.
Bosnian 47:	I Mi ćemo zlobu iz grudi njihovih istisnuti, oni će kao braća na divanima jedni prema drugima sjediti,
Urdu 47:	اور ان کے دلوں میں جو کینہ تھا ہم وہ سب دور کر دیں گے سب بھائی بھائی ہوں گے تختوں پر آمنے سامنے بیٹھنے والے ہوں گے
48	لَا يَمَسُّهُمْ فِيهَا نَصَبٌ وَمَا هُم مِّنْهَا بِمُخْرَجِينَ
Transliteration 48:	La yamassuhum feeha nasabun wama hum minha bimukhrajeena
Yusuf Ali 48:	There no sense of fatigue shall touch them, nor shall they (ever) be asked to leave.
Shakir 48:	Toil shall not afflict them in it, nor shall they be ever ejected from it.
Pickthal 48:	Toil cometh not unto them there, nor will they be expelled from thence.
Mohsin Khan: 48:	"No sense of fatigue shall touch them, nor shall they (ever) be asked to leave it."
French 48:	Nulle fatigue ne les y touchera. Et on ne les en fera pas sortir.
Spanish 48:	Allí no sufrirán pena, ni serán expulsados.

49	۞ نَبِّئْ عِبَادِي أَنِّي أَنَا الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ
Transliteration 49:	Nabbi AAibadee annee ana alghafooru alrraheemu
Yusuf Ali 49:	Tell My servants that I am indeed the Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful;
Shakir 49:	Inform My servants that I am the Forgiving, the Merciful,
Pickthal 49:	Announce, (O Muhammad) unto My slaves that verily I am the Forgiving, the Merciful,
Mohsin Khan: 49:	Declare (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم) unto My slaves, that truly, I am the Oft-Forgiving, the Most-Merciful.

German 49:	Verkünde Meinen Dienern, daß Ich wahrlich der Allverzeihende, der Barmherzige bin,
Russian 49:	Сообщи Моим рабам, что Я – Прощающий, Милосердный,
Bosnian 49:	Kaži robovima Mojim da sam Ja, zaista, Onaj koji prašta i da sam milostiv,
Urdu 49:	میرے بندوں کو اطلاع دے کہ بےشک میں بحشنے والا مہربان ہوں
50	وَأَنَّ عَذَابِي هُوَ الْعَذَابُ الْأَلِيمُ
Transliteration 50:	Waanna AAathabee huwa alAAathabu alaleemu
Yusuf Ali 50:	And that My Penalty will be indeed the most grievous Penalty.
Shakir 50:	And that My punishment-- that is the painful punishment.
Pickthal 50:	And that My doom is the dolorous doom.
Mohsin Khan: 50:	And that My Torment is indeed the most painful torment.
French 50:	et que Mon châtiment est certes le châtiment douloureux.
Spanish 50:	pero que Mi castigo es el castigo doloroso.
Indonesian 50:	dan bahwa sesungguhnya azab-Ku adalah azab yang sangat pedih.

German 50:	und daß Meine Strafe die schmerzliche Strafe ist.
Russian 50:	но наказание Мое – наказание мучительное.
