1	إِذَا جَاءَكَ الْمُنَافِقُونَ قَالُوا نَشْهَدُ إِنَّكَ لَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ إِنَّكَ لَرَسُولُهُ وَاللَّهُ يَشْهَدُ إِنَّ الْمُنَافِقِينَ لَكَاذِبُونَ
Transliteration 1:	Itha jaaka almunafiqoona qaloo nashhadu innaka larasoolu Allahi waAllahu yaAAlamu innaka larasooluhu waAllahu yashhadu inna almunafiqeena lakathiboona
Yusuf Ali 1:	When the Hypocrites come to thee, they say, "We bear witness that thou art indeed the Messenger of Allah." Yea, Allah knoweth that thou art indeed His Messenger, and Allah beareth witness that the Hypocrites are indeed liars.
Shakir 1:	When the hypocrites come to you, they say: We bear witness that you are most surely Allah's Messenger; and Allah knows that you are most surely His Messenger, and Allah bears witness that the hypocrites are surely liars.
Pickthal 1:	When the hypocrites come unto thee (O Muhammad), they say: We bear witness that thou art indeed Allah's messenger. And Allah knoweth that thou art indeed His messenger, and Allah beareth witness that the hypocrites indeed are speaking falsely.
Mohsin Khan: 1:	When the hypocrites come to you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم), they say: "We bear witness that you are indeed the Messenger of Allah." Allah knows that you are indeed His Messenger, and Allah bears witness that the hypocrites are liars indeed.
French 1:	Quand les hypocrites viennent à toi, ils disent: ‹Nous attestons que tu es certes le Messager d'Allah›; Allah sait que tu es vraiment Son messager; et Allah atteste que les hypocrites sont assurément des menteurs.
Spanish 1:	Cuando los hipócritas vienen a ti, dicen: "Atestiguamos que tú eres, en verdad, el Enviado de Alá". Alá sabe que tú eres el enviado. Pero Alá es testigo de que los hipócritas mienten.
Indonesian 1:	Apabila orang-orang munafik datang kepadamu, mereka berkata: "Kami mengakui, bahwa sesungguhnya kamu benar-benar Rasul Allah". Dan Allah mengetahui bahwa sesungguhnya kamu benar-benar Rasul-Nya; dan Allah mengetahui bahwa sesungguhnya orang-orang munafik itu benar-benar orang pendusta.
Melayu 1:	Apabila orang-orang munafik datang kepadamu (wahai Muhammad), mereka berkata: Kami mengakui bahawa sesungguhnya engkau sebenar-benarnya Rasul Allah dan Allah sememangnya mengetahui bahawa engkau ialah RasulNya, serta Allah menyaksikan bahawa sesungguhnya pengakuan mereka adalah dusta.
German 1:	"Wenn die Heuchler zu dir kommen, sagen sie: ""Wir bezeugen, daß du in Wahrheit der Gesandte Allahs bist."" Und Allah weiß, daß du wahrhaftig Sein Gesandter bist. Doch Allah bezeugt, daß die Heuchler Lügner sind.
Russian 1:	Когда лицемеры приходят к тебе, они говорят: «Свидетельствуем, что ты – Посланник Аллаха». Аллах знает, что ты – Его Посланник, и Аллах свидетельствует, что лицемеры являются лжецами.
Bosnian 1:	Kad ti licemjeri dolaze, oni govore: "Mi tvrdimo da si ti, zaista, Allahov poslanik!" - I Allah zna da si ti, zaista, Njegov poslanik, a Allah tvrdi i da su licemjeri pravi lašci.
Urdu 1:	جب آپ کے پاس منافق آتے ہیں تو کہتے ہیں ہم گواہی دیتے ہیں کہ بے شک آپ الله کے رسول ہیں اور الله جانتا ہے کہ بے شک آپ اس کے رسول ہیں اور الله گواہی دیتا ہے کہ بے شک منافق جھوٹے ہیں
2	اتَّخَذُوا أَيْمَانَهُمْ جُنَّةً فَصَدُّوا عَن سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ سَاءَ مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ
Transliteration 2:	Ittakhathoo aymanahum junnatan fasaddoo AAan sabeeli Allahi innahum saa ma kanoo yaAAmaloona
Yusuf Ali 2:	They have made their oaths a screen (for their misdeeds): thus they obstruct (men) from the Path of Allah. truly evil are their deeds.
Shakir 2:	They make their oaths a shelter, and thus turn away from Allah's way; surely evil is that which they do.
Pickthal 2:	They make their faith a pretext so that they may turn (men) from the way of Allah. Verily evil is that which they are wont to do,
Mohsin Khan: 2:	They have made their oaths a screen (for their hypocrisy). Thus they hinder (men) from the Path of Allah. Verily, evil is what they used to do.
French 2:	Ils prennent leurs serments pour bouclier et obstruent le chemin d'Allah. Quelles mauvaises choses que ce qu'ils faisaient!
Spanish 2:	Se han escudado en sus juramentos y han desviado a otros del camino de Alá. ¡Qué mal está lo que han hecho!
Indonesian 2:	Mereka itu menjadikan sumpah mereka sebagai perisai , lalu mereka menghalangi (manusia) dari jalan Allah. Sesungguhnya amat buruklah apa yang telah mereka kerjakan.
Melayu 2:	Mereka menjadikan sumpahnya (atau akuannya) sebagai perisai (untuk menyelamatkan dirinya dan harta bendanya daripada dibunuh atau dirampas), lalu mereka menghalang (dirinya dan orang lain) dari menurut jalan Allah. Sesungguhnya amatlah buruk apa yang mereka telah kerjakan.
German 2:	"Sie haben ihre Eide lediglich zu ihrem Schutz vorgebracht; so wenden sie vom Wege Allahs ab. Schlimm ist wahrlich das, was sie zu tun pflegen.
Russian 2:	Они сделали свои клятвы щитом и сбили других с пути Аллаха. Воистину, скверно то, что они совершают!
Bosnian 2:	Oni se iza zakletvi svojih zaklanjaju, pa od Allahova puta odvraćaju. Ružno je, doista, kako postupaju!
Urdu 2:	انہوں نے اپنی قسموں کو ڈھال بنا کر رکھا ہے پھر (لوگوں کو) الله کی راہ سے روکتے ہیں بے شک کیسا برا کام ہے جو وہ کر رہے ہیں
3	ذَ‌ٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ آمَنُوا ثُمَّ كَفَرُوا فَطُبِعَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ فَهُمْ لَا يَفْقَهُونَ
Transliteration 3:	Thalika biannahum amanoo thumma kafaroo fatubiAAa AAala quloobihim fahum la yafqahoona
Yusuf Ali 3:	That is because they believed, then they rejected Faith: So a seal was set on their hearts: therefore they understand not.
Shakir 3:	That is because they believe, then disbelieve, so a seal is set upon their hearts so that they do not understand.
Pickthal 3:	That is because they believed, then disbelieved, therefore their hearts are sealed so that they understand not.
Mohsin Khan: 3:	That is because they believed, and then disbelieved; therefore their hearts are sealed, so they understand not.
French 3:	C'est parce qu'en vérité ils ont cru, puis rejeté la foi. Leur coeurs donc, ont été scellés, de sorte qu'ils ne comprennent rien.
Spanish 3:	Porque primero creyeron y, luego, han descreído. Sus corazones han sido sellados, así que no entienden.
Indonesian 3:	Yang demikian itu adalah karena bahwa sesungguhnya mereka telah beriman, kemudian menjadi kafir (lagi) lalu hati mereka dikunci mati; karena itu mereka tidak dapat mengerti.
Melayu 3:	(Perbuatan buruk) yang demikian kerana mereka mengaku beriman (di hadapan orang-orang Islam) kemudian mereka tetap kafir sesama sendiri, maka dengan sebab itu dimeteraikan atas hati mereka; lalu mereka tidak dapat memahami (yang mana benar dan yang mana salah).
German 3:	Dies (ist so), weil sie glaubten und hernach ungläubig wurden. So ist ein Siegel auf ihre Herzen gesetzt worden, so daß sie nicht begreifen (können).
Russian 3:	Это – потому, что они уверовали, а затем стали неверующими. Затем их сердца были запечатаны, и теперь они не разумеют.
Bosnian 3:	To je zato što su vjernici bili, pa nevjernici postali, i onda su im srca zapečaćena, pa ne shvaćaju.
Urdu 3:	یہ اس لیے کہ وہ ایمان لائے پھر منکر ہو گئے پس ان کے دلوں پر مہر کر دی گئی ہے پس وہ نہیں سمجھتے
4	۞ وَإِذَا رَأَيْتَهُمْ تُعْجِبُكَ أَجْسَامُهُمْ ۖ وَإِن يَقُولُوا تَسْمَعْ لِقَوْلِهِمْ ۖ كَأَنَّهُمْ خُشُبٌ مُّسَنَّدَةٌ ۖ يَحْسَبُونَ كُلَّ صَيْحَةٍ عَلَيْهِمْ ۚ هُمُ الْعَدُوُّ فَاحْذَرْهُمْ ۚ قَاتَلَهُمُ اللَّهُ ۖ أَنَّىٰ يُؤْفَكُونَ
Transliteration 4:	Waitha raaytahum tuAAjibuka ajsamuhum wain yaqooloo tasmaAA liqawlihim kaannahum khushubun musannadatun yahsaboona kulla sayhatin AAalayhim humu alAAaduwwu faihtharhum qatalahumu Allahu anna yufakoona
Yusuf Ali 4:	When thou lookest at them, their exteriors please thee; and when they speak, thou listenest to their words. They are as (worthless as hollow) pieces of timber propped up, (unable to stand on their own). They think that every cry is against them. They are the enemies; so beware of them. The curse of Allah be on them! How are they deluded (away from the Truth)!
Shakir 4:	And when you see them, their persons will please you, and If they speak, you will listen to their speech; (they are) as if they were big pieces of wood clad with garments; they think every cry to be against them. They are the enemy, therefore beware of them; may Allah destroy them, whence are they turned back?
Pickthal 4:	And when thou seest them their figures please thee; and if they speak thou givest ear unto their speech. (They are) as though they were blocks of wood in striped cloaks. They deem every shout to be against them. They are the enemy, so beware of them. Allah confound them! How they are perverted!
Mohsin Khan: 4:	And when you look at them, their bodies please you; and when they speak, you listen to their words. They are as blocks of wood propped up. They think that every cry is against them. They are the enemies, so beware of them. May Allah curse them! How are they denying (or deviating from) the Right Path?
French 4:	Et quand tu les vois, leurs corps t'émerveillent; et s'ils parlent, tu écoutes leur parole. ils sont comme des bûches appuyées (contre des murs) et ils pensent que chaque cri est dirigé contre eux. L'ennemi c'est eux. Prends y garde. Qu'Allah les extermine! Comme les voilà détournés (du droit chemin).
Spanish 4:	Cuando se les ve, se admira su presencia. Si dicen algo, se escucha lo que dicen. Son como maderos apoyados. Creen que todo grito va dirigido contra ellos. Son ellos el enemigo. ¡Ten, pues, cuidado con ellos! ¡Que Alá les maldiga! ¡Cómo pueden ser tan desviados!
Indonesian 4:	Dan apabila kamu melihat mereka, tubuh-tubuh mereka menjadikan kamu kagum. Dan jika mereka berkata kamu mendengarkan perkataan mereka. Mereka adalah seakan-akan kayu yang tersandar . Mereka mengira bahwa tiap-tiap teriakan yang keras ditujukan kepada mereka. Mereka itulah musuh (yang sebenarnya), maka waspadalah terhadap mereka; semoga Allah membinasakan mereka. Bagaimanakah mereka sampai dipalingkan (dari kebenaran)?
Melayu 4:	Dan apabila engkau melihat mereka, engkau tertarik hati kepada tubuh badan mereka (dan kelalukannya) dan apabila mereka berkata-kata, engkau juga (tertarik hati) mendengar tutur katanya (kerana manis dan fasih. Dalam pada itu) mereka adalah seperti batang-batang kayu yang tersandar (tidak terpakai kerana tidak ada padanya kekuatan yang dikehendaki). Mereka (kerana merasai bersalah, sentiasa dalam keadaan cemas sehingga) menyangka tiap-tiap jeritan (atau riuh rendah yang mereka dengar) adalah untuk membahayakan mereka. Mereka itulah musuh yang sebenar-benarnya maka berjaga-jagalah engkau terhadap mereka. Semoga Allah membinasa dan menyingkirkan mereka dari rahmatNya. (Pelik sungguh!) Bagaimana mereka dipalingkan (oleh hawa nafsunya dari kebenaran)?
German 4:	Und wenn du sie siehst, so gefallen dir ihre Gestalten; und wenn sie sprechen, horchst du auf ihre Rede. Sie sind, als wären sie aufgerichtete Holzklötze. Sie glauben, jeder Schrei sei gegen sie (gerichtet). Sie sind der Feind, darum nimm dich vor ihnen in acht. Allahs Fluch über sie! Wie werden sie abgewendet?
Russian 4:	Когда ты смотришь на них, их тела восхищают тебя. Когда они говорят, ты слушаешь их слова. Они подобны прислоненным бревнам. Всякий крик они считают обращенным против них. Они являются врагами – остерегайся же их. Да погубит их Аллах! До чего же они отвращены от истины!
Bosnian 4:	Kad ih pogledaš, njihov izgled te ushićuje; a kad progovore, ti slušaš riječi njihove, međutim, oni su kao šuplji naslonjeni balvani, i misle da je svaki povik protiv njih. Oni su pravi neprijatelji, pa ih se pričuvaj! Allah ih ubio, kuda se odmeću?!
Urdu 4:	اور جب آپ ان کو دیکھیں تو اپ کو ان کے ڈیل ڈول اچھے لگیں اور اگر وہ بات کریں تو آپ انکی بات سن لیں گویا کہ وہ دیوار سے لگی ہوئی لکڑیاں ہیں وہ ہر آواز کو اپنے ہی اُوپر خیال کرتے ہیں وہی دشمن ہیں پس ان سے ہوشیار رہيے الله انہیں غارت کرے کہاں وہ بہکے جا رہے ہیں
5	وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ تَعَالَوْا يَسْتَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ لَوَّوْا رُءُوسَهُمْ وَرَأَيْتَهُمْ يَصُدُّونَ وَهُم مُّسْتَكْبِرُونَ
Transliteration 5:	Waitha qeela lahum taAAalaw yastaghfir lakum rasoolu Allahi lawwaw ruoosahum waraaytahum yasuddoona wahum mustakbiroona
Yusuf Ali 5:	And when it is said to them, "Come, the Messenger of Allah will pray for your forgiveness", they turn aside their heads, and thou wouldst see them turning away their faces in arrogance.
Shakir 5:	And when it is said to them: Come, the Messenger of Allah will ask forgiveness for you, they turn back their heads and you may see them turning away while they are big with pride.
Pickthal 5:	And when it is said unto them: Come! The messenger of Allah will ask forgiveness for you! they avert their faces and thou seest them turning away, disdainful.
Mohsin Khan: 5:	And when it is said to them: "Come, so that the Messenger of Allah may ask forgiveness from Allah for you," they twist their heads, and you would see them turning away their faces in pride.
French 5:	Et quand on leur dit: ‹Venez que le Messager d'Allah implore le pardon pour vous›, ils détournent leurs têtes, et tu les vois se détourner tandis qu'ils s'enflent d'orgueil.
Spanish 5:	Cuando se les dice: "¡Venid, que el Enviado de Alá pedirá perdon por vosotros!", vuelven la cabeza y se les ve retirarse altivamente.
Indonesian 5:	Dan apabila dikatakan kepada mereka: Marilah (beriman), agar Rasulullah memintakan ampunan bagimu, mereka membuang muka mereka dan kamu lihat mereka berpaling sedang mereka menyombongkan diri.
Melayu 5:	Dan apabila dikatakan kepada mereka: Marilah (bertaubat) supaya Rasulullah meminta ampun (kepada Allah) untuk kamu, mereka (enggan sambil) menggeleng-gelengkan kepalanya dan engkau melihat mereka berpaling (dari bertaubat) serta mereka berlaku sombong angkuh.
German 5:	"Und wenn zu ihnen gesprochen wird: ""Kommt her, der Gesandte Allahs will für euch um Verzeihung bitten!"", dann wenden sie ihre Köpfe zur Seite, und du siehst, wie sie sich in Hochmut abkehren.
Russian 5:	Когда им говорят: «Придите, чтобы Посланник Аллаха попросил для вас прощения», – они качают головой, и ты видишь, как они надменно отворачиваются.
Bosnian 5:	A kad im se rekne: "Dođite, Allahov Poslanik će moliti da vam se oprosti"- oni glavama svojim tresu i vidiš ih kako nadmeno odbijaju.
Urdu 5:	اور جب ان سے کہا جائے کہ آؤ تمہارے لیے رسول الله مغفرت طلب کریں تو اپنے سر پھیر لیتے ہیں اور آپ انہیں دیکھیں گے کہ وہ رکتے ہیں ایسے حال میں کہ وہ تکبر کرنے والے ہیں
6	سَوَاءٌ عَلَيْهِمْ أَسْتَغْفَرْتَ لَهُمْ أَمْ لَمْ تَسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ لَن يَغْفِرَ اللَّهُ لَهُمْ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الْفَاسِقِينَ
Transliteration 6:	Sawaon AAalayhim astaghfarta lahum am lam tastaghfir lahum lan yaghfira Allahu lahum inna Allaha la yahdee alqawma alfasiqeena
Yusuf Ali 6:	It is equal to them whether thou pray for their forgiveness or not. Allah will not forgive them. Truly Allah guides not rebellious transgressors.
Shakir 6:	It is alike to them whether you beg forgiveness for them or do not beg forgiveness for them; Allah will never forgive them; surely Allah does not guide the transgressing people.
Pickthal 6:	Whether thou ask forgiveness for them or ask not forgiveness for them is all one for them; Allah will not forgive them. Lo! Allah guideth not the evil-living folk.
Mohsin Khan: 6:	It is equal to them whether you (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) ask forgiveness or ask not forgiveness for them, Allah will never forgive them. Verily, Allah guides not the people who are the Fasiqin (rebellious, disobedient to Allah).
French 6:	C'est égal, pour eux, que tu implores le pardon pour eux ou que tu ne le fasses pas: Allah ne leur pardonnera jamais, car Allah ne guide pas les gens pervers.
Spanish 6:	Da lo mismo que pidas o no que se les perdone. Alá no les perdonará. Alá no dirige a la gente perversa.
Indonesian 6:	Sama saja bagi mereka, kamu mintakan ampunan atau tidak kamu mintakan ampunan bagi mereka, Allah tidak akan mengampuni mereka; sesungguhnya Allah tidak memberi petunjuk kepada orang-orang yang fasik.
Melayu 6:	(Tidak ada faedahnya) kepada mereka, samada engkau meminta ampun untuk mereka atau engkau tidak meminta ampun, Allah tidak sekali-kali akan mengampunkan mereka. Sesungguhnya Allah tidak memberi hidayat petunjuk kepada kaum yang fasik.
German 6:	"Es ist ihnen gleich, ob du für sie um Verzeihung bittest oder nicht für sie um Verzeihung bittest. Allah wird ihnen nie verzeihen; wahrlich, Allah rechtleitet kein frevelhaftes Volk.
Russian 6:	Попросишь ты для них прощения или не станешь просить для них прощения – им все равно. Аллах не простит их. Воистину, Аллах не ведет прямым путем нечестивых людей.
Bosnian 6:	Isto im je - molio ti oprosta za njih ili ne molio, Allah im, zaista, neće oprostiti, Allah, doista, narodu nevjerničkom neće na Pravi put ukazati.
Urdu 6:	برابر ہے خواہ وہ آپ ان کے لیے معافی مانگیں یا نہ مانگیں اللهانہیں ہر گز نہیں بخشے گا بے شک الله بدکار قوم کو ہدایت نہیں کرتا
7	هُمُ الَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ لَا تُنفِقُوا عَلَىٰ مَنْ عِندَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ حَتَّىٰ يَنفَضُّوا ۗ وَلِلَّهِ خَزَائِنُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَلَـٰكِنَّ الْمُنَافِقِينَ لَا يَفْقَهُونَ
Transliteration 7:	Humu allatheena yaqooloona la tunfiqoo AAala man AAinda rasooli Allahi hatta yanfaddoo walillahi khazainu alssamawati waalardi walakinna almunafiqeena la yafqahoona
Yusuf Ali 7:	They are the ones who say, "Spend nothing on those who are with Allah.s Messenger, to the end that they may disperse (and quit Medina)." But to Allah belong the treasures of the heavens and the earth; but the Hypocrites understand not.
Shakir 7:	They it is who say: Do not spend upon those who are with the Messenger of Allah until they break up. And Allah's are the treasures of the heavens and the earth, but the hypocrites do not understand.
Pickthal 7:	They it is who say: Spend not on behalf of those (who dwell) with Allah's messenger that they may disperse (and go away from you); when Allah's are the treasures of the heavens and the earth; but the hypocrites comprehend not.
Mohsin Khan: 7:	They are the ones who say: "Spend not on those who are with Allah's Messenger, until they desert him." And to Allah belong the treasures of the heavens and the earth, but the hypocrites comprehend not.
French 7:	Ce sont eux qui disent: ‹Ne dépensez point pour ceux qui sont auprès du Messager d'Allah, afin qu'ils se dispersent›. Et c'est à Allah qu'appartiennent les trésors des cieux et de la terre, mais les hypocrites ne comprennent pas.
Spanish 7:	Son ellos los que dicen: "No gastéis nada en favor de los que están con el Enviado de Alá; así, se escaparán de él". Los tesoros de los cielos y de la tierra pertenecen a Alá, pero los hipócritas no comprenden.
Indonesian 7:	Mereka orang-orang yang mengatakan (kepada orang-orang Ansar): "Janganlah kamu memberikan perbelanjaan kepada orang-orang (Muhajirin) yang ada di sisi Rasulullah supaya mereka bubar (meninggalkan Rasulullah)". Padahal kepunyaan Allah-lah perbendaharaan langit dan bumi, tetapi orang-orang munafik itu tidak memahami.
Melayu 7:	Merekalah yang mengatakan (kepada orang-orang Islam di Madinah yang menolong Rasulullah dan orang-orang Muhajirin): Janganlah kamu membelanjakan harta kamu kepada orang-orang yang ada bersama-sama Rasulullah supaya mereka bersurai (meninggalkannya). Padahal bagi Allah jualah perbendaharaan langit dan bumi, (tiada sesiapapun yang dapat memberi atau menyekat sebarang pemberian melainkan dengan kehendakNya); akan tetapi orang-orang yang munafik itu tidak memahami (hakikat yang sebenarnya).
German 7:	"Sie sind es, die sagen: ""Spendet nicht für die, die mit dem Gesandten Allahs sind, bis sie (ihn) verlassen"", während doch die Schätze der Himmel und der Erde Allahs sind; allein die Heuchler verstehen nichts.
Russian 7:	Именно они говорят: «Не жертвуйте в пользу тех, кто возле Посланника Аллаха, пока они не покинут его». Аллаху принадлежат сокровищницы небес и земли, но лицемеры не понимают этого.
Bosnian 7:	Oni govore: "Ne udjeljujte ništa onima koji su uz Allahova Poslanika, da bi ga napustili!" A blaga nebesa i Zemlje su Allahova, ali licemjeri neće da shvate.
Urdu 7:	وہی لوگ ہیں جوکہتے ہیں کہ ان پر خرچ نہ کرو جو رسول الله کے پاس ہیں یہاں تک کہ وہ تتر بتر ہو جائیں اور آسمانوں اور زمین کے خزانے الله ہی کے لیے ہیں لیکن منافق نہیں سمجھتے
8	يَقُولُونَ لَئِن رَّجَعْنَا إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ لَيُخْرِجَنَّ الْأَعَزُّ مِنْهَا الْأَذَلَّ ۚ وَلِلَّهِ الْعِزَّةُ وَلِرَسُولِهِ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَلَـٰكِنَّ الْمُنَافِقِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
Transliteration 8:	Yaqooloona lain rajaAAna ila almadeenati layukhrijanna alaAAazzu minha alathalla walillahi alAAizzatu walirasoolihi walilmumineena walakinna almunafiqeena la yaAAlamoona
Yusuf Ali 8:	They say, "If we return to Medina, surely the more honourable (element) will expel therefrom the meaner." But honour belongs to Allah and His Messenger, and to the Believers; but the Hypocrites know not.
Shakir 8:	They say: If we return to Medina, the mighty will surely drive out the meaner therefrom; and to Allah belongs the might and to His Messenger and to the believers, but the hypocrites do not know.
Pickthal 8:	They say: Surely, if we return to Al-Madinah the mightier will soon drive out the weaker; when might belongeth to Allah and to His messenger and to the believers; but the hypocrites know not.
Mohsin Khan: 8:	They (hyprocrites) say: "If we return to Al-Madinah, indeed the more honourable ('Abdullah bin Ubai bin Salul, the chief of hyprocrites at Al-Madinah) will expel therefrom the meaner (i.e. Allah's Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم)." But honour, power and glory belong to Allah, and to His Messenger (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم), and to the believers, but the hypocrites know not.
French 8:	Ils disent: ‹Si nous retournons à Médine, le plus puissant en fera assurément sortir le plus humble›. Or c'est à Allah qu'est la puissance ainsi qu'à Son messager et aux croyants. Mais les hypocrites ne le savent pas.
Spanish 8:	Dicen: "Si volvemos a la ciudad, los más poderosos, sin duda, expulsarán de ella a los más débiles". Pero el poder pertenece a Alá, a Su Enviado y a los creyentes. Los hipócritas, empero, no saben.
Indonesian 8:	Mereka berkata: "Sesungguhnya jika kita telah kembali ke Madinah , benar-benar orang yang kuat akan mengusir orang-orang yang lemah daripadanya". Padahal kekuatan itu hanyalah bagi Allah, bagi Rasul-Nya dan bagi orang-orang mu'min, tetapi orang-orang munafik itu tiada mengetahui.
Melayu 8:	Mereka berkata lagi: Demi sesungguhnya! Jika kita kembali ke Madinah (dari medan perang), sudah tentu orang-orang yang mulia lagi kuat (pihak kita) akan mengusir keluar dari Madinah orang-orang yang hina lagi lemah (pihak Islam). Padahal bagi Allah jualah kemuliaan dan kekuatan itu dan bagi RasulNya serta bagi orang-orang yang beriman; akan tetapi golongan yang munafik itu tidak mengetahui (hakikat yang sebenarnya).
German 8:	""Sie sagen: ""Wenn wir nach Al-Madina zurückkehren, dann wird der Würdigste sicher den Geringsten aus ihr vertreiben"", obwohl die Würdigkeit nur Allah und Seinem Gesandten und den Gläubigen zusteht; aber die Heuchler wissen es nicht.
Russian 8:	Они говорят: «Когда мы вернемся в Медину, то могущественные среди нас непременно изгонят оттуда униженных». Могущество присуще Аллаху, Его Посланнику и верующим, но лицемеры не знают этого.
Bosnian 8:	Oni govore: "Ako se vratimo u Medinu, sigurno će jači istjerati iz nje slabijeg!" A snaga je u Allaha i Poslanika Njegova i u vjernika, ali licemjeri neće da znaju.
Urdu 8:	وہ کہتے ہیں کہ اگر ہم مدینہ کی طرف لوٹ کر گئے تو اس میں سے عزت والا ذلیل کو ضرور نکال دے گا اور عزت تو الله اوراس کے رسول اور مومنین ہی کے لیے ہے لیکن منافق نہیں جانتے
9	يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تُلْهِكُمْ أَمْوَالُكُمْ وَلَا أَوْلَادُكُمْ عَن ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ ۚ وَمَن يَفْعَلْ ذَ‌ٰلِكَ فَأُولَـٰئِكَ هُمُ الْخَاسِرُونَ
Transliteration 9:	Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo la tulhikum amwalukum wala awladukum AAan thikri Allahi waman yafAAal thalika faolaika humu alkhasiroona
Yusuf Ali 9:	O ye who believe! Let not your riches or your children divert you from the remembrance of Allah. If any act thus, the loss is their own.
Shakir 9:	O you who believe! let not your wealth, or your children, divert you from the remembrance of Allah; and whoever does that, these are the losers.
Pickthal 9:	O ye who believe! Let not your wealth nor your children distract you from remembrance of Allah. Those who do so, they are the losers.
Mohsin Khan: 9:	O you who believe! Let not your properties or your children divert you from the remembrance of Allah. And whosoever does that, then they are the losers.
French 9:	Ô vous qui avez cru! Que ni vos biens ni vos enfants ne vous distraient du rappel d'Allah. Et quiconque fait cela... alors ceux-là seront les perdants.
Spanish 9:	¡Creyentes! Que ni vuestra hacienda ni vuestros hijos os distraigan del recuerdo de Alá. Quienes eso hacen, son los que pierden.
Indonesian 9:	Hai orang-orang yang beriman, janganlah harta-hartamu dan anak-anakmu melalaikan kamu dari mengingat Allah. Barangsiapa yang membuat demikian maka mereka itulah orang-orang yang rugi.
Melayu 9:	Wahai orang-orang yang beriman! Janganlah kamu dilalaikan oleh (urusan) harta benda kamu dan anak-pinak kamu daripada mengingati Allah (dengan menjalankan perintahNya). Dan (ingatlah), sesiapa yang melakukan demikian, maka mereka itulah orang-orang yang rugi.
German 9:	"O ihr, die ihr glaubt, laßt euch durch euer Vermögen und eure Kinder nicht vom Gedenken an Allah abhalten. Und wer das tut - das sind die Verlierenden.
Russian 9:	О те, которые уверовали! Пусть ваше имущество и ваши дети не отвлекают вас от поминания Аллаха. А те, которые поступают таким образом, окажутся потерпевшими убыток.
Bosnian 9:	O vjernici, neka vas imanja vaša i djeca vaša ne zabave od sjećanja na Allaha. A oni koji to učine, biće izgubljeni.
Urdu 9:	اے ایمان والو تمہیں تمہارے مال اور تمہاری اولاد الله کے ذکر سے غافل نہ کر دیں اور جو کوئی ایسا کرے گا سووہی نقصان اٹھانے والے ہیں
10	وَأَنفِقُوا مِن مَّا رَزَقْنَاكُم مِّن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِيَ أَحَدَكُمُ الْمَوْتُ فَيَقُولَ رَبِّ لَوْلَا أَخَّرْتَنِي إِلَىٰ أَجَلٍ قَرِيبٍ فَأَصَّدَّقَ وَأَكُن مِّنَ الصَّالِحِينَ
Transliteration 10:	Waanfiqoo min ma razaqnakum min qabli an yatiya ahadakumu almawtu fayaqoola rabbi lawla akhkhartanee ila ajalin qareebin faassaddaqa waakun mina alssaliheena
Yusuf Ali 10:	and spend something (in charity) out of the substance which We have bestowed on you, before Death should come to any of you and he should say, "O my Lord! why didst Thou not give me respite for a little while? I should then have given (largely) in charity, and I should have been one of the doers of good".
Shakir 10:	And spend out of what We have given you before death comes to one of you, so that he should say: My Lord! why didst Thou not respite me to a near term, so that I should have given alms and been of the doers of good deeds?
Pickthal 10:	And spend of that wherewith We have provided you before death cometh unto one of you and he saith: My Lord! If only thou wouldst reprieve me for a little while, then I would give alms and be among the righteous.
Mohsin Khan: 10:	And spend (in charity) of that with which We have provided you before death comes to one of you, and he says: "My Lord! If only You would give me respite for a little while (i.e. return to the worldly life), then I should give Sadaqah (i.e. Zakat ) of my wealth, and be among the righteous [i.e. perform Hajj (pilgrimage to Makkah) and other good deeds].
French 10:	Et dépensez de ce que Nous vous avons octroyé avant que la mort ne vienne à l'un de vous et qu'il dise alors: ‹Seigneur! si seulement Tu m'accordais un court délai: je ferais l'aumòne et serais parmi les gens de bien›.
Spanish 10:	Gastad de lo que os hemos proveído, antes de que la muerte venga a uno de vosotros y éste diga: "¡Señor! ¿Por qué no me das algo más de tiempo, para que dé limosna y sea de los justos?".
Indonesian 10:	Dan belanjakanlah sebagian dari apa yang telah Kami berikan kepadamu sebelum datang kematian kepada salah seorang di antara kamu; lalu ia berkata: "Ya Tuhanku, mengapa Engkau tidak menangguhkan (kematian) ku sampai waktu yang dekat, yang menyebabkan aku dapat bersedekah dan aku termasuk orang-orang yang saleh?"
Melayu 10:	Dan belanjakanlah (dermakanlah) sebahagian dari rezeki yang Kami berikan kepada kamu sebelum seseorang dari kamu sampai ajal maut kepadanya, (kalau tidak) maka dia (pada saat itu) akan merayu dengan katanya: Wahai Tuhanku! Alangkah baiknya kalau Engkau lambatkan kedatangan ajal matiku ke suatu masa yang sedikit sahaja lagi, supaya aku dapat bersedekah dan dapat pula aku menjadi dari orang-orang yang soleh.
German 10:	"Und spendet von dem, was Wir euch gegeben haben, bevor einen von euch der Tod ereilt und er sagt: ""Mein Herr! Wenn Du mir nur Aufschub für eine kurze Frist gewähren würdest, dann würde ich Almosen geben und einer der Rechtschaffenen sein.""
Russian 10:	Расходуйте из того, чем Мы вас наделили, до того, как вас постигнет смерть и вы скажете: «Господи! Предоставь мне недолгую отсрочку, и я буду раздавать милостыню и стану одним из праведников».
Bosnian 10:	I od onoga čime vas Mi opskrbljujemo udjeljujte prije nego nekom od vas smrt dođe, pa da onda rekne: "Gospodaru moj, da me još samo kratko vrijeme zadržiš, pa da milostinju udjeljujem i da dobar budem!"
Urdu 10:	اوراس میں سے خرچ کرو جو ہم نے تمہیں روزی دی ہے اس سے پہلے کہ کسی کو تم میں سے موت آجائے تو کہے اے میرے رب تو نے مجھے تھوڑی مدت کے لیے ڈھیل کیوں نہ دی کہ میں خیرات کرتا اور نیک لوگو ں میں ہو جاتا
11	وَلَن يُؤَخِّرَ اللَّهُ نَفْسًا إِذَا جَاءَ أَجَلُهَا ۚ وَاللَّهُ خَبِيرٌ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ
Transliteration 11:	Walan yuakhkhira Allahu nafsan itha jaa ajaluha waAllahu khabeerun bima taAAmaloona
Yusuf Ali 11:	But to no soul will Allah grant respite when the time appointed (for it) has come; and Allah is well acquainted with (all) that ye do.
Shakir 11:	And Allah does not respite a soul when its appointed term has come, and Allah is Aware of what you do.
Pickthal 11:	But Allah reprieveth no soul when its term cometh, and Allah is Informed of what ye do.
Mohsin Khan: 11:	And Allah grants respite to none when his appointed time (death) comes. And Allah is All-Aware of what you do.
French 11:	Allah cependant n'accorde jamais de délai à une âme dont le terme est arrivé. Et Allah est Parfaitement Connaisseur de ce que vous faites.
Spanish 11:	Cuando le vence a uno su plazo, Alá no le concede prórroga. Alá está bien informado de lo que hacéis.
Indonesian 11:	Dan Allah sekali-kali tidak akan menangguhkan (kematian) seseorang apabila datang waktu kematiannya. Dan Allah Maha Mengetahui apa yang kamu kerjakan.
Melayu 11:	Dan (ingatlah), Allah tidak sekali-kali akan melambatkan kematian seseorang (atau sesuatu yang bernyawa) apabila sampai ajalnya dan Allah Amat Mendalam PengetahuanNya mengenai segala yang kamu kerjakan.
German 11:	"Und nie wird Allah jemandem Aufschub gewähren, wenn seine Frist um ist; und Allah ist dessen wohl kundig, was ihr tut.
Russian 11:	Аллах не предоставит отсрочки душе, если наступил ее срок. Аллах ведает о том, что вы совершаете.
Bosnian 11:	Allah, sigurno, neće ostaviti u životu nikoga kome smrtni čas njegov dođe; a Allah dobro zna ono što vi radite.
Urdu 11:	اور الله کسی نفس کو ہرگز مہلت نہیں دے گا جب اس کی اجل آجائے گی اور الله اس سے خبردار ہے جو تم کرتے ہو
