Verses 1-50 | Verses 51-88

51	مُتَّكِئِينَ فِيهَا يَدْعُونَ فِيهَا بِفَاكِهَةٍ كَثِيرَةٍ وَشَرَابٍ
Transliteration 51:	Muttakieena feeha yadAAoona feeha bifakihatin katheeratin washarabin
Yusuf Ali 51:	Therein will they recline (at ease): Therein can they call (at pleasure) for fruit in abundance, and (delicious) drink;
Shakir 51:	Reclining therein, calling therein for many fruits and drink.
Pickthal 51:	Wherein, reclining, they call for plenteous fruit and cool drink (that is) therein.
Mohsin Khan: 51:	Therein they will recline; therein they will call for fruits in abundance and drinks;
French 51:	où, accoudés, ils demanderont des fruits abondants et des boissons.
Spanish 51:	y en los que, reclinados, pedirán fruta abundante y bebida.
Indonesian 51:	di dalamnya mereka bertelekan (di atas dipan-dipan) sambil meminta buah-buahan yang banyak dan minuman di surga itu.
Melayu 51:	(Mereka akan bersukaria) dalam Syurga itu sambil berbaring (di atas pelamin); mereka meminta di situ buah-buahan dan minuman yang berbagai jenisnya dan rasa kelazatannya.
German 51:	Dort werden sie zurückgelehnt ruhen; dort werden sie Früchte in Mengen und reichlich Trank haben.
Russian 51:	Они будут возлежать там, прислонившись, и просить принести им множество фруктов и питье.
Bosnian 51:	u kojima će se odmarati, i raznovrsno voće i piće tražiti.
Urdu 51:	وہاں تکیہ لگا کر بیٹھیں گے وہاں بہت سے میوے اور شراب طلب کریں گے
52	۞ وَعِندَهُمْ قَاصِرَاتُ الطَّرْفِ أَتْرَابٌ
Transliteration 52:	WaAAindahum qasiratu alttarfi atrabun
Yusuf Ali 52:	And beside them will be chaste women restraining their glances, (companions) of equal age.
Shakir 52:	And with them shall be those restraining their eyes, equals in age.
Pickthal 52:	And with them are those of modest gaze, companions.
Mohsin Khan: 52:	And beside them will be Qasirat-at-Tarf [chaste females (wives) restraining their glances (desiring none except their husbands)], (and) of equal ages.
French 52:	Et auprès d'eux seront les belles au regard chaste, toutes du même âge.
Spanish 52:	Junto a ellos estarán las de recatado mirar, de una misma edad.
Indonesian 52:	Dan pada sisi mereka (ada bidadari-bidadari) yang tidak liar pandangannya dan sebaya umurnya.
Melayu 52:	Dan di sisi mereka pula bidadari-bidadari yang pandangannya tertumpu (kepada mereka semata-mata), lagi yang sebaya umurnya.
German 52:	Und bei ihnen werden (Keusche) sein, die züchtig blicken, Gefährtinnen gleichen Alters.
Russian 52:	Рядом с ними будут сверстницы с потупленными взорами.
Bosnian 52:	Pored njih biće hurije, istih godina, koje će preda se gledati.
Urdu 52:	اور ان کے پاس نیچی نگاہ والی ہم عمر عورتیں ہوں گی
53	هَـٰذَا مَا تُوعَدُونَ لِيَوْمِ الْحِسَابِ
Transliteration 53:	Hatha ma tooAAadoona liyawmi alhisabi
Yusuf Ali 53:	Such is the Promise made, to you for the Day of Account!
Shakir 53:	This is what you are promised for the day of reckoning.
Pickthal 53:	This it is that ye are promised for the Day of Reckoning.
Mohsin Khan: 53:	This it is what you (Al-Muttaqun - the pious - see V.2:2) are promised for the Day of Reckoning!
French 53:	Voilà ce qui vous est promis pour le Jour des Comptes.
Spanish 53:	Esto es lo que se os promete para el día de la Cuenta.
Indonesian 53:	Inilah apa yang dijanjikan kepadamu pada hari berhisab.
Melayu 53:	Inilah dia balasan yang dijanjikan kepada kamu setelah selesai hitungan amal!
German 53:	Dies ist, was euch für den Tag der Abrechnung verheißen wurde.
Russian 53:	Это – то, что обещано вам ко Дню расчета.
Bosnian 53:	"To je ono što vam se obećava za Dan u kome će se račun polagati;
Urdu 53:	یہی ہے جس کا تم سے حساب کے دن کے لیے وعدہ کیا جاتا ہے
54	إِنَّ هَـٰذَا لَرِزْقُنَا مَا لَهُ مِن نَّفَادٍ
Transliteration 54:	Inna hatha larizquna ma lahu min nafadin
Yusuf Ali 54:	Truly such will be Our Bounty (to you); it will never fail;-
Shakir 54:	Most surely this is Our sustenance; it shall never come to an end;
Pickthal 54:	Lo! this in truth is Our provision, which will never waste away.
Mohsin Khan: 54:	(It will be said to them)! Verily, this is Our Provision which will never finish.
French 54:	Ce sera Notre attribution inépuisable.
Spanish 54:	En verdad, éste será Nuestro sustento, sin fin.
Indonesian 54:	Sesungguhnya ini adalah benar-benar rezki dari Kami yang tiada habis-habisnya.
Melayu 54:	Sesungguhnya ini ialah pemberian Kami kepada kamu, pemberian yang tidak akan habis-habis; -
German 54:	Wahrlich, das ist Unsere Versorgung; nie wird sie sich erschöpfen.
Russian 54:	Это – Наш неиссякаемый удел.
Bosnian 54:	to će, doista, blagodat Naša biti, koja nikada neće prestajati!"
Urdu 54:	بے شک یہ ہمارا رزق ہے جو کبھی ختم نہیں ہوگا
55	هَـٰذَا ۚ وَإِنَّ لِلطَّاغِينَ لَشَرَّ مَآبٍ
Transliteration 55:	Hatha wainna lilttagheena lasharra maabin
Yusuf Ali 55:	Yea, such! but - for the wrong-doers will be an evil place of (Final) Return!-
Shakir 55:	This (shall be so); and most surely there is an evil resort for the inordinate ones;
Pickthal 55:	This (is for the righteous). And lo! for the transgressors there with be an evil journey's end,
Mohsin Khan: 55:	This is so! And for the Taghun (transgressors, the disobedient to Allah and His Messenger - disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, criminals) will be an evil final return (Fire).
French 55:	Voilà! Alors que les rebelles auront certes la pire retraite,
Spanish 55:	Así será. Los rebeldes, en cambio, tendrán un mal lugar de retorno:
Indonesian 55:	Beginilah (keadaan mereka). Dan sesungguhnya bagi orang-orang yang durhaka benar-benar (disediakan) tempat kembali yang buruk,
Melayu 55:	Nikmat-nikmat ini (adalah untuk orang-orang yang bertakwa) dan bahawa sesungguhnya bagi orang-orang yang zalim (dengan kekufuran atau kederhakaannya) seburuk-buruk tempat kembali, -
German 55:	Dies ist (für die Gläubigen). Doch für die Widerspenstigen ist eine üble Stätte der Rückkehr (bestimmt):
Russian 55:	Вот так! Воистину, для преступивших границы дозволенного уготовано скверное место возвращения –
Bosnian 55:	Eto toliko! A one koji budu zlo činili čeka najgore prebivalište:
Urdu 55:	یہی بات ہے اور بے شک سرکشوں کے لیے برا ٹھکانا ہے
56	جَهَنَّمَ يَصْلَوْنَهَا فَبِئْسَ الْمِهَادُ
Transliteration 56:	Jahannama yaslawnaha fabisa almihadu
Yusuf Ali 56:	Hell!- they will burn therein, - an evil bed (indeed, to lie on)!-
Shakir 56:	Hell; they shall enter it, so evil is the resting-place.
Pickthal 56:	Hell, where they will burn, an evil resting-place.
Mohsin Khan: 56:	Hell! Where they will burn, and worst (indeed) is that place to rest!
French 56:	L'Enfer où ils brûleront. Et quel affreux lit!
Spanish 56:	la gehena, en la que arderán. ¡Qué mal lecho...!
Indonesian 56:	(yaitu) neraka Jahannam, yang mereka masuk ke dalamnya; maka amat buruklah Jahannam itu sebagai tempat tinggal.
Melayu 56:	Iaitu Neraka Jahannam yang mereka akan menderita bakarannya; maka seburuk-buruk tempat menetap ialah Neraka Jahannam;
German 56:	Dschahannam; sie werden darin schmoren - welch schlimmes Lager!
Russian 56:	Геенна, в которой они будут гореть. Как же скверно это ложе!
Bosnian 56:	Džehennem, u kojem će gorjeti; a grozne li postelje!
Urdu 56:	یعنی دوزخ جس میں وہ گریں گے پس وہ کیسی بری جگہ ہے
57	هَـٰذَا فَلْيَذُوقُوهُ حَمِيمٌ وَغَسَّاقٌ
Transliteration 57:	Hatha falyathooqoohu hameemun waghassaqun
Yusuf Ali 57:	Yea, such! - then shall they taste it,- a boiling fluid, and a fluid dark, murky, intensely cold!-
Shakir 57:	This (shall be so); so let them taste it, boiling and intensely cold (drink).
Pickthal 57:	Here is a boiling and an ice-cold draught, so let them taste it,
Mohsin Khan: 57:	This is so! Then let them taste it - a boiling fluid and dirty wound discharges.
French 57:	Voilà! Qu'ils y goûtent: eau bouillante et eau purulente,
Spanish 57:	Esto ¡que lo gusten!: agua muy caliente, hediondo líquido
Indonesian 57:	Inilah (azab neraka), biarlah mereka merasakannya, (minuman mereka) air yang sangat panas dan air yang sangat dingin.
Melayu 57:	Ini sejenis azab seksa, maka hendaklah mereka merasainya, air panas yang menggelegak dan air danur yang mengalir (untuk minuman mereka);
German 57:	Dies ist (für die Ungläubigen). Mögen sie es denn kosten: siedendes Wasser und eine Trankmischung aus Blut und Eiter
Russian 57:	Это – кипяток и гной. Пусть же они вкушают его.
Bosnian 57:	Eto toliko! Pa neka okušaju vodu ključalu i kapljevinu smrdljivu
Urdu 57:	یہ ہے پھر وہ اس کو چکھیں جو کھولتا ہوا پانی اور پیپ ہے
58	وَآخَرُ مِن شَكْلِهِ أَزْوَاجٌ
Transliteration 58:	Waakharu min shaklihi azwajun
Yusuf Ali 58:	And other Penalties of a similar kind, to match them!
Shakir 58:	And other (punishment) of the same kind-- of various sorts.
Pickthal 58:	And other (torment) of the kind in pairs (the two extremes)!
Mohsin Khan: 58:	And other (torments) of similar kind - all together!
French 58:	et d'autres punitions du même genre.
Spanish 58:	y otras muchas cosas por el estilo.
Indonesian 58:	Dan azab yang lain yang serupa itu berbagai macam.
Melayu 58:	Dan azab seksa yang lain, yang serupa buruknya dan dahsyatnya adalah berbagai jenis lagi.
German 58:	und anderes gleicher Art und in Vielfalt.
Russian 58:	Им уготованы и другие виды подобных мучений.
Bosnian 58:	i druge slične ovima muke, mnogostruke.
Urdu 58:	اور اس کی شکل اور بھی کئی طرح کی چیزیں ہوں گی
59	هَـٰذَا فَوْجٌ مُّقْتَحِمٌ مَّعَكُمْ ۖ لَا مَرْحَبًا بِهِمْ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ صَالُو النَّارِ
Transliteration 59:	Hatha fawjun muqtahimun maAAakum la marhaban bihim innahum saloo alnnari
Yusuf Ali 59:	Here is a troop rushing headlong with you! No welcome for them! truly, they shall burn in the Fire!
Shakir 59:	This is an army plunging in without consideration along with you; no welcome for them, surely they shall enter fire.
Pickthal 59:	Here is an army rushing blindly with you. (Those who are already in the Fire say): No word of welcome for them. Lo! they will roast at the Fire.
Mohsin Khan: 59:	This is a troop entering with you (in Hell), no welcome for them! Verily, they shall burn in the Fire!
French 59:	Voici un groupe qui entre précipitamment en même temps que vous, nulle bienvenue à eux. Ils vont brûler dans le Feu.
Spanish 59:	"He ahí a otra muchedumbre que se precipita con vosotros. No hay bienvenida para ellos. Arderán en el Fuego".
Indonesian 59:	(Dikatakan kepada mereka): "Ini adalah suatu rombongan (pengikut-pengikutmu) yang masuk berdesak-desak bersama kamu (ke neraka)". (Berkata pemimpin-pemimpin mereka yang durhaka): "Tiadalah ucapan selamat datang kepada mereka karena sesungguhnya mereka akan masuk neraka".
Melayu 59:	(Penjaga Neraka berkata kepada ketua-ketua golongan kafir dan penderhaka itu): Ini ialah serombongan (orang-orang kamu) yang masuk berasak-asak bersama-sama kamu. (Ketua-ketua itu berkata): Mereka tidak perlu dialu-alukan, kerana sesungguhnya mereka pun akan menderita bakaran Neraka.
German 59:	"""Hier ist eine Schar, die mit euch zusammen hineingestürzt wird."" Kein Willkomm (sei) ihnen! Sie sollen im Feuer brennen.
Russian 59:	Неверующие скажут: «Вот толпа, ввергаемая вместе с вами. Нет им приветствия! Воистину, они будут гореть в Огне!»
Bosnian 59:	"Ova gomila će zajedno s vama tiskajući se u Džehennem ući!" - "Ne bilo im prostrano! U vatri će oni, doista, gorjeti!"
Urdu 59:	یہ ایک جماعت ہے جو تمہارے ساتھ دوزخ میں داخل ہونے والی ہے (متبوع کہیں گے) ان پر خدا کی مار یہ بھی دوزخ ہی میں آ رہے ہیں
60	قَالُوا بَلْ أَنتُمْ لَا مَرْحَبًا بِكُمْ ۖ أَنتُمْ قَدَّمْتُمُوهُ لَنَا ۖ فَبِئْسَ الْقَرَارُ
Transliteration 60:	Qaloo bal antum la marhaban bikum antum qaddamtumoohu lana fabisa alqararu
Yusuf Ali 60:	(The followers shall cry to the misleaders:) "Nay, ye (too)! No welcome for you! It is ye who have brought this upon us! Now evil is (this) place to stay in!"
Shakir 60:	They shall say: Nay! you-- no welcome to you: you did proffer it to us, so evil is the resting-place.
Pickthal 60:	They say: Nay, but you (misleaders), for you there is no word of welcome. Ye prepared this for us (by your misleading). Now hapless is the plight.
Mohsin Khan: 60:	(The followers of the misleaders will say): "Nay, you (too)! No welcome for you! It is you (misleaders) who brought this upon us (because you misled us in the world), so evil is this place to stay in!"
French 60:	Ils dirent: ‹Pas de bienvenue pour vous, plutòt, C'est vous qui avez préparé cela pour nous›. Quel mauvais lieu de séjour!
Spanish 60:	Dirán: "¡No! ¡No hay bienvenida para vosotros! ¡Sois vosotros los que nos habéis preparado esto! ¡Qué mala morada...!"
Indonesian 60:	Pengikut-pengikut mereka menjawab: "Sebenarnya kamulah. Tiada ucapan selamat datang bagimu, karena kamulah yang menjerumuskan kami ke dalam azab, maka amat buruklah Jahannam itu sebagai tempat menetap".
Melayu 60:	Pengikut-pengikut mereka menjawab: Bahkan kamulah yang tidak perlu dialu-alukan, kerana kamulah yang membawa azab sengsara ini kepada kami, maka amatlah buruknya Neraka ini sebagai tempat penetapan.
German 60:	""Sie werden sagen: ""Nein, ihr seid es. Kein Willkomm (sei) euch denn! Ihr seid es, die uns dies bereitet haben. Und welch schlimmer Ort ist das!""
Russian 60:	Они скажут: «О нет! Это вам не будет приветствия! Это вы преподнесли его нам. Как же скверно это местопребывание!»
Bosnian 60:	"Vama ne bilo prostrano!" - reći će oni - "vi ste nam ovo pripremili, a grozna li boravišta!"
Urdu 60:	(تابع ہونے والے) کہیں گے بلکہ تم پر خدا کی مار تم ہی تو اس بلا کو ہمارے سامنے لائے جو بہت ہی برا ٹھکانا ہے
61	قَالُوا رَبَّنَا مَن قَدَّمَ لَنَا هَـٰذَا فَزِدْهُ عَذَابًا ضِعْفًا فِي النَّارِ
Transliteration 61:	Qaloo rabbana man qaddama lana hatha fazidhu AAathaban diAAfan fee alnnari
Yusuf Ali 61:	They will say: "Our Lord! whoever brought this upon us,- Add to him a double Penalty in the Fire!"
Shakir 61:	They shall say: Our Lord! whoever prepared it first for us, add Thou to him a double chastisement in the fire.
Pickthal 61:	They say: Our Lord! Whoever did prepare this for us, oh, give him double portion of the Fire!
Mohsin Khan: 61:	They will say: "Our Lord! Whoever brought this upon us, add to him a double torment in the Fire!"
French 61:	Ils dirent: ‹Seigneur, celui qui nous a préparé cela, ajoute-lui un double châtiment dans le Feu›.
Spanish 61:	"¡Señor!" dirán, "a los que nos han preparado esto ¡dóblales el castigo en el Fuego!"
Indonesian 61:	Mereka berkata (lagi): "Ya Tuhan kami; barangsiapa yang menjerumuskan kami ke dalam azab ini maka tambahkanlah azab kepadanya dengan berlipat ganda di dalam neraka."
Melayu 61:	Mereka berkata lagi: Wahai Tuhan kami! Sesiapa yang membawa azab ini kepada kami, maka tambahilah dia azab seksa berlipat ganda di dalam Neraka.
German 61:	""Sie werden sagen: ""Unser Herr, wer immer uns dies bereitete - füge ihm die doppelte Strafe im Feuer hinzu.""
Russian 61:	Они скажут: «Господь наш! Приумножь многократно мучения в Огне тем, кто преподнес это нам».
Bosnian 61:	"Gospodaru naš," - reći će - "udvostruči patnju u vatri onima koji su nam ovo priredili!"
Urdu 61:	تابع کہیں گے اے ہمارے رب! جو اس بلا کو آگے لایا اسے آگ میں دگنا عذاب دے
62	وَقَالُوا مَا لَنَا لَا نَرَىٰ رِجَالًا كُنَّا نَعُدُّهُم مِّنَ الْأَشْرَارِ
Transliteration 62:	Waqaloo ma lana la nara rijalan kunna naAAudduhum mina alashrari
Yusuf Ali 62:	And they will say: "What has happened to us that we see not men whom we used to number among the bad ones?
Shakir 62:	And they shall say: What is the matter with us that we do not see men whom we used to count among the vicious?
Pickthal 62:	And they say: What aileth us that we behold not men whom we were wont to count among the wicked?
Mohsin Khan: 62:	And they will say: "What is the matter with us that we see not men whom we used to count among the bad ones?"
French 62:	Et ils dirent: ‹Pourquoi ne voyons-nous pas des gens que nous comptions parmi les malfaiteurs?
Spanish 62:	Dirán: "¿Cómo es que no vemos aquí a hombres que teníamos por malvados,
Indonesian 62:	Dan (orang-orang durhaka) berkata: "Mengapa kami tidak melihat orang-orang yang dahulu (di dunia) kami anggap sebagai orang-orang yang jahat (hina).
Melayu 62:	Dan penduduk Neraka itu tetap akan bertanya sesama sendiri: Mengapa kita tidak melihat orang-orang yang dahulu kita kirakan mereka sebagai orang-orang jahat (lagi hina)?
German 62:	""Und sie werden sagen: "" Was ist mit uns geschehen, daß wir nicht die Leute sehen, die wir zu den Bösen zu zählen pflegten?
Russian 62:	Они скажут: «Что с нами? Почему мы не видим мужей, которых мы считали плохими?
Bosnian 62:	I govoriće: "Zašto ne vidimo ljude koje smo u zle ubrajali
Urdu 62:	اور کہیں گے کہ جن لوگوں کو ہم دنیا میں برا سمجھتے تھے ہمیں دکھائی کیوں نہیں دیتے
63	أَتَّخَذْنَاهُمْ سِخْرِيًّا أَمْ زَاغَتْ عَنْهُمُ الْأَبْصَارُ
Transliteration 63:	Attakhathnahum sikhriyyan am zaghat AAanhumu alabsaru
Yusuf Ali 63:	"Did we treat them (as such) in ridicule, or have (our) eyes failed to perceive them?"
Shakir 63:	Was it that we (only) took them in scorn, or have our eyes (now) turned aside from them?
Pickthal 63:	Did we take them (wrongly) for a laughing-stock, or have our eyes missed them?
Mohsin Khan: 63:	Did we take them as an object of mockery, or have (our) eyes failed to perceive them?"
French 63:	Est-ce que nous les avons raillés (à tort) ou échappent-ils à nos regards?›
Spanish 63:	de los que nos burlábamos? ¿O es que se desvían de ellos las miradas?"
Indonesian 63:	Apakah kami dahulu menjadikan mereka olok-olokan, ataukah karena mata kami tidak melihat mereka?"
Melayu 63:	Adakah kita sahaja jadikan mereka ejek-ejekan (sedang mereka orang-orang yang benar)? Atau mata kita tidak dapat melihat mereka?
German 63:	""Sollte es sein, daß wir sie (zu Unrecht) zum Gespött gemacht haben, oder haben unsere Augen sie verfehlt?""
Russian 63:	Неужели мы несправедливо глумились над ними? Или же просто взоры не падают на них?»
Bosnian 63:	i koje smo ismijavali? Da nam se nisu iz vida izgubili?"
Urdu 63:	کیا ہم ان سے (ناحق) تمسخر کرتے تھے یا ان سے ہماری نگاہیں پھر گئی ہیں
64	إِنَّ ذَ‌ٰلِكَ لَحَقٌّ تَخَاصُمُ أَهْلِ النَّارِ
Transliteration 64:	Inna thalika lahaqqun takhasumu ahli alnnari
Yusuf Ali 64:	Truly that is just and fitting,- the mutual recriminations of the People of the Fire!
Shakir 64:	That most surely is the truth: the contending one with another of the inmates of the fire.
Pickthal 64:	Lo! that is very truth: the wrangling of the dwellers in the Fire.
Mohsin Khan: 64:	Verily, that is the very truth - the mutual dispute of the people of the Fire!
French 64:	Telles sont en vérité les querelles des gens du Feu.
Spanish 64:	Sí, esto es verdad: la discusión entre los moradores del Fuego.
Indonesian 64:	Sesungguhnya yang demikian itu pasti terjadi, (yaitu) pertengkaran penghuni neraka.
Melayu 64:	Sesungguhnya (segala yang diterangkan) itu adalah benar iaitu perbalahan dan cercaan penduduk Neraka sesama sendiri.
German 64:	"Wahrlich, das ist in der Tat ein Redestreit der Bewohner des Feuers untereinander.
Russian 64:	Воистину, препирательство обитателей Огня является истиной.
Bosnian 64:	Istina je, sigurno, da će se stanovnici Džehennema među sobom raspravljati.
Urdu 64:	بے شک یہ دوزخیوں کا آپس میں جھگڑنا بالکل سچی بات ہے
65	قُلْ إِنَّمَا أَنَا مُنذِرٌ ۖ وَمَا مِنْ إِلَـٰهٍ إِلَّا اللَّهُ الْوَاحِدُ الْقَهَّارُ
Transliteration 65:	Qul innama ana munthirun wama min ilahin illa Allahu alwahidu alqahharu
Yusuf Ali 65:	Say: "Truly am I a Warner: no god is there but the one Allah, Supreme and Irresistible,-
Shakir 65:	Say: I am only a warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer (of all):
Pickthal 65:	Say (unto them, O Muhammad): I am only a warner, and there is no Allah save Allah, the One, the Absolute,
Mohsin Khan: 65:	Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم): "I am only a warner and there is no Ilah (God) except Allah (none has the right to be worshipped but Allah) the One, the Irresistible,
French 65:	Dis: ‹Je ne suis qu'un avertisseur. Point de divinité à part Allah, l'Unique, le Dominateur Suprême,
Spanish 65:	Di: "Yo no soy más que uno que advierte. No hay ningún otro dios que Alá, el Uno, el Invicto,

Transliteration 66:	Rabbu alssamawati waalardi wama baynahuma alAAazeezu alghaffaru
Yusuf Ali 66:	"The Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all between,- Exalted in Might, able to enforce His Will, forgiving again and again."
Shakir 66:	The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, the Mighty, the most Forgiving.
Pickthal 66:	Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Mighty, the Pardoning.

Mohsin Khan: 67:	Say: "That (this Qur'an) is a great news,

69	مَا كَانَ لِيَ مِنْ عِلْمٍ بِالْمَلَإِ الْأَعْلَىٰ إِذْ يَخْتَصِمُونَ
Transliteration 69:	Ma kana liya min AAilmin bialmalai alaAAla ith yakhtasimoona
Yusuf Ali 69:	"No knowledge have I of the Chiefs on high, when they discuss (matters) among themselves.
Shakir 69:	I had no knowledge of the exalted chiefs when they contended:
Pickthal 69:	I had no knowledge of the Highest Chiefs when they disputed;
Mohsin Khan: 69:	"I had no knowledge of the chiefs (angels) on high when they were disputing and discussing (about the creation of Adam).
French 69:	Je n'avais aucune connaissance de la cohorte sublime au moment où elle disputait.
Spanish 69:	Yo no tenía conocimiento del Consejo Supremo, cuando discutían unos con otros.
Indonesian 69:	Aku tiada mempunyai pengetahuan sedikitpun tentang al mala'ul a`la (malaikat) itu ketika mereka berbantah-bantahan.

70	إِن يُوحَىٰ إِلَيَّ إِلَّا أَنَّمَا أَنَا نَذِيرٌ مُّبِينٌ
Transliteration 70:	In yooha ilayya illa annama ana natheerun mubeenun
Yusuf Ali 70:	'Only this has been revealed to me: that I am to give warning plainly and publicly."
Shakir 70:	Naught is revealed to me save that I am a plain warner.
Pickthal 70:	It is revealed unto me only that I may be a plain warner.
Mohsin Khan: 70:	"Only this has been revealed to me, that I am a plain warner."
French 70:	Il m'est seulement révélé que je suis un avertisseur clair›.
Spanish 70:	Lo único que se me ha revelado es que soy un monitor que habla claro".

71	إِذْ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلَائِكَةِ إِنِّي خَالِقٌ بَشَرًا مِّن طِينٍ
Transliteration 71:	Ith qala rabbuka lilmalaikati innee khaliqun basharan min teenin
Yusuf Ali 71:	Behold, thy Lord said to the angels: "I am about to create man from clay:
Shakir 71:	When your Lord said to the angels; Surely I am going to create a mortal from dust:
Pickthal 71:	When thy Lord said unto the angels: Lo! I am about to create a mortal out of mire,
Mohsin Khan: 71:	(Remember) when your Lord said to the angels: "Truly I am going to create man from clay".
French 71:	Quand ton Seigneur dit aux Anges: ‹Je vais créer d'argile un être humain.
Spanish 71:	Cuando tu Señor dijo a los ángeles: "Voy a crear a un mortal de arcilla
Indonesian 71:	(Ingatlah) ketika Tuhanmu berfirman kepada malaikat: "Sesungguhnya Aku akan menciptakan manusia dari tanah".
Melayu 71:	(Ingatkanlah peristiwa) ketika Tuhanmu berfirman kepada malaikat: Sesungguhnya Aku hendak menciptakan manusia, Adam dari tanah;

Russian 71:	Вот твой Господь сказал ангелам: «Я создам человека из глины.

Urdu 71:	جب تیرے رب نے فرشتوں سے کہا کہ میں ایک انسان مٹی سے بنانے والا ہوں
72	فَإِذَا سَوَّيْتُهُ وَنَفَخْتُ فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِي فَقَعُوا لَهُ سَاجِدِينَ
Transliteration 72:	Faitha sawwaytuhu wanafakhtu feehi min roohee faqaAAoo lahu sajideena
Yusuf Ali 72:	"When I have fashioned him (in due proportion) and breathed into him of My spirit, fall ye down in obeisance unto him."
Shakir 72:	So when I have made him complete and breathed into him of My spirit, then fall down making obeisance to him.
Pickthal 72:	And when I have fashioned him and breathed into him of My Spirit, then fall down before him prostrate,
Mohsin Khan: 72:	So when I have fashioned him and breathed into him (his) soul created by Me, then you fall down prostrate to him."
French 72:	Quand Je l'aurai bien formé et lui aurai insufflé de Mon Esprit, jetez-vous devant lui, prosternés›.
Spanish 72:	y, cuando lo haya formado armoniosamente e infundido en él de Mi Espíritu, ¡caed prosternados ante él!"
Indonesian 72:	Maka apabila telah Kusempurnakan kejadiannya dan Kutiupkan kepadanya roh (ciptaan)Ku; maka hendaklah kamu tersungkur dengan bersujud kepadanya".

Russian 72:	Когда же Я придам ему соразмерный облик и вдохну в него от Моего духа, то падите перед ним ниц».

Urdu 72:	پھرجب میں اسے پورے طور پر بنا لوں اور اس میں اپنی رو ح پھونک دوں تو اس کے لیے سجدہ میں گر پڑنا
73	فَسَجَدَ الْمَلَائِكَةُ كُلُّهُمْ أَجْمَعُونَ
Transliteration 73:	Fasajada almalaikatu kulluhum ajmaAAoona
Yusuf Ali 73:	So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together:
Shakir 73:	And the angels did obeisance, all of them,
Pickthal 73:	The angels fell down prostrate, every one,
Mohsin Khan: 73:	So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them:
French 73:	Alors tous les Anges se prosternèrent,

74	إِلَّا إِبْلِيسَ اسْتَكْبَرَ وَكَانَ مِنَ الْكَافِرِينَ
Transliteration 74:	Illa ibleesa istakbara wakana mina alkafireena
Yusuf Ali 74:	Not so Iblis: he was haughty, and became one of those who reject Faith.
Shakir 74:	But not Iblis: he was proud and he was one of the unbelievers.
Pickthal 74:	Saving Iblis; he was scornful and became one of the disbelievers.
Mohsin Khan: 74:	Except Iblis (Satan): he was proud and was one of the disbelievers.
French 74:	à l'exception d'Iblis qui s'enfla d'orgueil et fut du nombre des infidèles.
Spanish 74:	salvo Iblis, que se mostró altivo y fue de los infieles.
Indonesian 74:	kecuali iblis; dia menyombongkan diri dan adalah dia termasuk orang-orang yang kafir.

75	قَالَ يَا إِبْلِيسُ مَا مَنَعَكَ أَن تَسْجُدَ لِمَا خَلَقْتُ بِيَدَيَّ ۖ أَسْتَكْبَرْتَ أَمْ كُنتَ مِنَ الْعَالِينَ
Transliteration 75:	Qala ya ibleesu ma manaAAaka an tasjuda lima khalaqtu biyadayya astakbarta am kunta mina alAAaleena
Yusuf Ali 75:	((Allah)) said: "O Iblis! What prevents thee from prostrating thyself to one whom I have created with my hands? Art thou haughty? Or art thou one of the high (and mighty) ones?"
Shakir 75:	He said: O Iblis! what prevented you that you should do obeisance to him whom I created with My two hands? Are you proud or are you of the exalted ones?
Pickthal 75:	He said: O Iblis! What hindereth thee from falling prostrate before that which I have created with both My hands? Art thou too proud or art thou of the high exalted?
Mohsin Khan: 75:	(Allah) said: "O Iblis (Satan)! What prevents you from prostrating yourself to one whom I have created with Both My Hands . Are you too proud (to fall prostrate to Adam) or are you one of the high exalted?"
French 75:	(Allah) lui dit: ‹Ô Iblis, qui t'a empêché de te prosterner devant ce que J'ai créé de Mes mains? T'enfles-tu d'orgueil ou te considères- tu parmi les hauts placés?›
Spanish 75:	Dijo: "¡Iblis! ¿Qué es lo que te ha impedido prosternarte ante lo que con Mis manos he creado? ¿Ha sido la altivez, la arrogancia?"
Indonesian 75:	Allah berfirman: "Hai iblis, apakah yang menghalangi kamu sujud kepada yang telah Ku-ciptakan dengan kedua tangan-Ku. Apakah kamu menyombongkan diri ataukah kamu (merasa) termasuk orang-orang yang (lebih) tinggi?".
Melayu 75:	Allah berfirman: Hai lblis! Apa yang menghalangmu daripada turut sujud kepada (Adam) yang Aku telah ciptakan dengan kekuasaanKu? Adakah engkau berlaku sombong takbur ataupun engkau dari golongan yang tertinggi?
German 75:	"Er sprach: ""O Iblis, was hindert dich daran, dich vor etwas niederzuwerfen, das Ich mit Meinen Händen geschaffen habe? Bist du hochmütig oder gehörst du zu den Uberheblichen?""
Russian 75:	Он сказал: «О Иблис! Что помешало тебе пасть ниц перед тем, кого Я сотворили Своими обеими Руками? Ты возгордился или же принадлежишь к числу превозносящихся?»
Bosnian 75:	"O Iblisu!" - rekao je On - "šta te navelo da se ne pokloniš onome koga sam sobom stvorio? Jesi li se uzoholio ili misliš da si uzvišen?"
Urdu 75:	فرمایا اے ابلیس! تمہیں اس کےے سجدہ کرنے سے کس نے منع کیا جسے میں نے اپنے ہاتھوں سے بنایا کیا تو نے تکبر کیا یا تو بڑوں میں سے تھا
76	قَالَ أَنَا خَيْرٌ مِّنْهُ ۖ خَلَقْتَنِي مِن نَّارٍ وَخَلَقْتَهُ مِن طِينٍ
Transliteration 76:	Qala ana khayrun minhu khalaqtanee min narin wakhalaqtahu min teenin
Yusuf Ali 76:	(Iblis) said: "I am better than he: thou createdst me from fire, and him thou createdst from clay."
Shakir 76:	He said: I am better than he; Thou hast created me of fire, and him Thou didst create of dust.
Pickthal 76:	He said: I am better than him. Thou createdst me of fire, whilst him Thou didst create of clay.
Mohsin Khan: 76:	[Iblis (Satan)] said: "I am better than he. You created me from fire, and You created him from clay."
French 76:	‹Je suis meilleur que lui, dit [Iblis,] Tu m'as créé de feu et tu l'as créé d'argile›.
Spanish 76:	Dijo: "Yo soy mejor que él. A mí me creaste de fuego, mientras que a él le creaste de arcilla".
Indonesian 76:	Iblis berkata: "Aku lebih baik daripadanya, karena Engkau ciptakan aku dari api, sedangkan dia Engkau ciptakan dari tanah".
Melayu 76:	Iblis menjawab: Aku lebih baik daripadanya; Engkau (wahai Tuhanku) ciptakan daku dari api, sedang dia Engkau ciptakan dari tanah.
German 76:	""Er sagte: ""Ich bin besser als er. Du erschufst mich aus Feuer, und ihn hast Du aus Ton erschaffen.""
Russian 76:	Он сказал: «Я лучше него. Ты сотворил меня из огня, а его сотворил из глины».
Bosnian 76:	"Bolji sam od njega" - rekao je on - "mene si stvorio od vatre a njega od ilovače."
Urdu 76:	اس نے عرض کی میں اس سے بہتر ہوں مجھے تو نے آگ سے بنایااور اسے مٹی سے بنایا
77	قَالَ فَاخْرُجْ مِنْهَا فَإِنَّكَ رَجِيمٌ
Transliteration 77:	Qala faokhruj minha fainnaka rajeemun
Yusuf Ali 77:	((Allah)) said: "Then get thee out from here: for thou art rejected, accursed.
Shakir 77:	He said: Then get out of it, for surely you are driven away:
Pickthal 77:	He said: Go forth from hence, for lo! thou art outcast,
Mohsin Khan: 77:	(Allah) said: "Then get out from here; for verily you are outcast.
French 77:	(Allah) dit: ‹Sors d'ici, te voilà banni;
Spanish 77:	Dijo: "¡Sal de aquí! ¡Eres un maldito!
Indonesian 77:	Allah berfirman: "Maka keluarlah kamu dari surga; sesungguhnya kamu adalah orang yang terkutuk,
Melayu 77:	Allah berfirman: Kalau demikian, keluarlah engkau daripadanya, kerana sesungguhnya engkau adalah makhluk yang diusir.
German 77:	""Er sprach: ""So geh hinaus von hier; denn du bist ein Verfluchter.
Russian 77:	Он сказал: «Изыди отсюда! Отныне ты изгнан и побиваем.
Bosnian 77:	"E, izlazi onda iz Dženneta! - reče On - "proklet da si!
Urdu 77:	فرمایا پھر تو یہاں سے نکل جاکیوں نکہ تو راندہ گیا ہے
78	وَإِنَّ عَلَيْكَ لَعْنَتِي إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ
Transliteration 78:	Wainna AAalayka laAAnatee ila yawmi alddeeni
Yusuf Ali 78:	"And My curse shall be on thee till the Day of Judgment."
Shakir 78:	And surely My curse is on you to the day of judgment.
Pickthal 78:	And lo! My curse is on thee till the Day of Judgment.
Mohsin Khan: 78:	"And verily My Curse is on you till the Day of Recompense."
French 78:	et sur toi sera ma malédiction jusqu'au jour de la Rétribution›.
Spanish 78:	¡Mi maldición te perseguirá hasta el día del Juicio!"
Indonesian 78:	sesungguhnya kutukan-Ku tetap atasmu sampai hari pembalasan".
Melayu 78:	Dan sesungguhnya engkau ditimpa laknatku terus menerus hingga ke hari kiamat!
German 78:	""Und Mein Fluch soll auf dir bis zum Tage des Gerichts lasten.""
Russian 78:	И проклятие Мое пребудет над тобой до Дня воздаяния».
Bosnian 78:	Moje prokletstvo će te do Sudnjeg dana pratiti!"
Urdu 78:	اور تجھ پر قیامت تک میری لعنت ہے
79	قَالَ رَبِّ فَأَنظِرْنِي إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ
Transliteration 79:	Qala rabbi faanthirnee ila yawmi yubAAathoona
Yusuf Ali 79:	(Iblis) said: "O my Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are raised."
Shakir 79:	He said: My Lord! then respite me to the day that they are raised.
Pickthal 79:	He said: My Lord! Reprieve me till the day when they are raised.
Mohsin Khan: 79:	[Iblis (Satan)] said: "My Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are resurrected."
French 79:	‹Seigneur, dit [Iblis,] donne-moi donc un délai, jusqu'au jour où ils seront ressuscités›.
Spanish 79:	Dijo: "¡Señor, déjame esperar hasta el día de la Resurrección!"
Indonesian 79:	Iblis berkata: "Ya Tuhanku, beri tangguhlah aku sampai hari mereka dibangkitkan".
Melayu 79:	Iblis berkata: Wahai Tuhanku! Jika demikian, berilah tempoh kepadaku hingga ke hari mereka dibangkitkan (hari kiamat).
German 79:	""Er sagte: ""O mein Herr, gewähre mir eine Frist bis zu dem Tage, an dem sie auferweckt werden.""
Russian 79:	Он сказал: «Господи! Предоставь мне отсрочку до того дня, когда они будут воскрешены».
Bosnian 79:	"Gospodaru moj!" - reče on - "daj mi vremena do Dana kada će oni oživljeni biti!"
Urdu 79:	عرض کی اے میرے رب! پھر مجھے مردوں کے زندہ ہونے تک مہلت دے
80	قَالَ فَإِنَّكَ مِنَ الْمُنظَرِينَ
Transliteration 80:	Qala fainnaka mina almunthareena
Yusuf Ali 80:	((Allah)) said: "Respite then is granted thee-
Shakir 80:	He said: Surely you are of the respited ones,
Pickthal 80:	He said: Lo! thou art of those reprieved
Mohsin Khan: 80:	(Allah) said: "Verily! You are of those allowed respite."
French 80:	(Allah) dit: ‹Tu es de ceux à qui un délai est accordé,
Spanish 80:	Dijo: "Entonces, serás de aquéllos a quienes se ha concedido una prórroga
Indonesian 80:	Allah berfirman: "Sesungguhnya kamu termasuk orang-orang yang diberi tangguh,
Melayu 80:	Allah berfirman: Dengan permohonanmu itu, maka sesungguhnya engkau dari golongan yang diberi tempoh;
German 80:	""Er sprach: ""Also, wird dir die Frist gewährt,
Russian 80:	Он сказал: «Воистину, ты – один из тех, кому предоставлена отсрочка
Bosnian 80:	"Dajem ti" - reče On -
Urdu 80:	فرمایا پس تمہیں مہلت ہے
81	إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ الْوَقْتِ الْمَعْلُومِ
Transliteration 81:	Ila yawmi alwaqti almaAAloomi
Yusuf Ali 81:	"Till the Day of the Time Appointed."
Shakir 81:	Till the period of the time made known.

Transliteration 82:	Qala fabiAAizzatika laoghwiyannahum ajmaAAeena
Yusuf Ali 82:	(Iblis) said: "Then, by Thy power, I will put them all in the wrong,-
Shakir 82:	He said: Then by Thy Might I will surely make them live an evil life, all,
Pickthal 82:	He said: Then, by Thy might, I surely will beguile them every one,
Mohsin Khan: 82:	[Iblis (Satan)] said: "By Your Might, then I will surely mislead them all,

83	إِلَّا عِبَادَكَ مِنْهُمُ الْمُخْلَصِينَ
Transliteration 83:	Illa AAibadaka minhumu almukhlaseena
Yusuf Ali 83:	"Except Thy Servants amongst them, sincere and purified (by Thy Grace)."
Shakir 83:	Except Thy servants from among them, the purified ones.
Pickthal 83:	Save Thy single-minded slaves among them.

84	قَالَ فَالْحَقُّ وَالْحَقَّ أَقُولُ
Transliteration 84:	Qala faalhaqqu waalhaqqa aqoolu
Yusuf Ali 84:	((Allah)) said: "Then it is just and fitting- and I say what is just and fitting-
Shakir 84:	He said: The truth then is and the truth do I speak:
Pickthal 84:	He said: The Truth is, and the Truth I speak,

Transliteration 85:	Laamlaanna jahannama minka wamimman tabiAAaka minhum ajmaAAeena
Yusuf Ali 85:	"That I will certainly fill Hell with thee and those that follow thee,- every one."
Shakir 85:	That I will most certainly fill hell with you and with those among them who follow you, all.
Pickthal 85:	That I shall fill hell with thee and with such of them as follow thee, together.
Mohsin Khan: 85:	That I will fill Hell with you [Iblis (Satan)] and those of them (mankind) that follow you, together."

86	قُلْ مَا أَسْأَلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍ وَمَا أَنَا مِنَ الْمُتَكَلِّفِينَ
Transliteration 86:	Qul ma asalukum AAalayhi min ajrin wama ana mina almutakallifeena
Yusuf Ali 86:	Say: "No reward do I ask of you for this (Qur'an), nor am I a pretender.
Shakir 86:	Say: I do not ask you for any reward for it; nor am I of those who affect:
Pickthal 86:	Say (O Muhammad, unto mankind): I ask of you no fee for this, and I am no simulating.
Mohsin Khan: 86:	Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم): "No wage do I ask of you for this (the Qur'an), nor am I one of the Mutakallifun (those who pretend and fabricate things which do not exist).
French 86:	Dis: ‹Pour cela, je ne vous demande aucun salaire; et je ne suis pas un imposteur.
Spanish 86:	Di: "Yo no os pido, a cambio, ningún salario ni me arrogo nada.
Indonesian 86:	Katakanlah (hai Muhammad): "Aku tidak meminta upah sedikitpun kepadamu atas da'wahku; dan bukanlah aku termasuk orang-orang yang mengada-adakan.

Urdu 86:	کہہ دو میں اس پر تم سے کوئی مزدوری نہیں مانگتا اور نہ میں تکلف کرنے والوں میں ہوں
87	إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرٌ لِّلْعَالَمِينَ
Transliteration 87:	In huwa illa thikrun lilAAalameena
Yusuf Ali 87:	"This is no less than a Message to (all) the Worlds.
Shakir 87:	It is nothing but a reminder to the nations;
Pickthal 87:	Lo! it is naught else than a reminder for all peoples
Mohsin Khan: 87:	"It (this Qur'an) is only a Reminder for all the 'Alamin (mankind and jinn).
French 87:	Ceci [le Coran] n'est qu'un rappel à l'univers.
Spanish 87:	Ello no es más que una amonestación dirigida a todo el mundo.
Indonesian 87:	Al Qur'an ini tidak lain hanyalah peringatan bagi semesta alam.

Yusuf Ali 88:	"And ye shall certainly know the truth of it (all) after a while."
Shakir 88:	And most certainly you will come to know about it after a time.
Pickthal 88:	And ye will come in time to know the truth thereof.
Mohsin Khan: 88:	"And you shall certainly know the truth of it after a while".
French 88:	Et certainement vous en aurez des nouvelles bientòt!›.
