1	سَأَلَ سَائِلٌ بِعَذَابٍ وَاقِعٍ
Transliteration 1:	Saala sailun biAAathabin waqiAAin
Yusuf Ali 1:	A questioner asked about a Penalty to befall-
Shakir 1:	One demanding, demanded the chastisement which must befall
Pickthal 1:	A questioner questioned concerning the doom about to fall
Mohsin Khan: 1:	A questioner asked concerning a torment about to befall
French 1:	Un demandeur a réclamé un châtiment inéluctable,
Spanish 1:	Alguien ha pedido un castigo inmediato
Indonesian 1:	Seseorang peminta telah meminta kedatangan azab yang bakal terjadi,
Melayu 1:	Salah seorang (dari kalangan orang-orang kafir Mekah, secara mengejek-ejek) meminta kedatangan azab yang (dijanjikan) akan berlaku,
German 1:	Ein Fragender fragt nach einer Strafe, die hereinbrechen wird,
Russian 1:	Просящий просил мучения, которые постигают
Bosnian 1:	Neko je zatražio da se kazna izvrši
Urdu 1:	ایک سوال کرنے والے نے اس عذاب کا سوال کیا جو واقع ہونے والا ہے
2	لِّلْكَافِرِينَ لَيْسَ لَهُ دَافِعٌ
Transliteration 2:	Lilkafireena laysa lahu dafiAAun
Yusuf Ali 2:	The Unbelievers, the which there is none to ward off,-
Shakir 2:	The unbelievers-- there is none to avert it--
Pickthal 2:	Upon the disbelievers, which none can repel,
Mohsin Khan: 2:	Upon the disbelievers, which none can avert,
French 2:	pour les mécréants, que nul ne pourrait repousser,
Spanish 2:	para los infieles, que nadie pueda rechazar,
Indonesian 2:	Untuk orang-orang kafir, yang tidak seorangpun dapat menolaknya,

Russian 2:	неверующих. Никто не сможет предотвратить его

Urdu 2:	کافرو ں کے لیے کہ اس کا کوئی ٹالنے والا نہیں
3	مِّنَ اللَّهِ ذِي الْمَعَارِجِ
Transliteration 3:	Mina Allahi thee almaAAariji
Yusuf Ali 3:	(A Penalty) from Allah, Lord of the Ways of Ascent.
Shakir 3:	From Allah, the Lord of the ways of Ascent.
Pickthal 3:	From Allah, Lord of the Ascending Stairways
Mohsin Khan: 3:	From Allah, the Lord of the ways of ascent.
French 3:	et qui vient d'Allah, le Maître des voies d'ascension.
Spanish 3:	que venga de Alá, Señor de las gradas.
Indonesian 3:	(Yang datang) dari Allah, Yang mempunyai tempat-tempat naik.
Melayu 3:	Dari Allah yang menguasai tempat-tempat turun naik -
German 3:	: sie ist von Allah, Der über die Himmelsleiter verfügt.
Russian 3:	вопреки Аллаху, Владыке ступеней.
Bosnian 3:	da to Allah, Gospodar nebesa, ne učini,
Urdu 3:	جس الله کی طرف سے واقع ہو گا جو سیڑھیوں کا (یعنی آسمانوں کا) مالک ہے
4	تَعْرُجُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَالرُّوحُ إِلَيْهِ فِي يَوْمٍ كَانَ مِقْدَارُهُ خَمْسِينَ أَلْفَ سَنَةٍ
Transliteration 4:	TaAAruju almalaikatu waalrroohu ilayhi fee yawmin kana miqdaruhu khamseena alfa sanatin
Yusuf Ali 4:	The angels and the spirit ascend unto him in a Day the measure whereof is (as) fifty thousand years:
Shakir 4:	To Him ascend the angels and the Spirit in a day the measure of which is fifty thousand years.
Pickthal 4:	(Whereby) the angels and the Spirit ascend unto Him in a Day whereof the span is fifty thousand years.
Mohsin Khan: 4:	The angels and the Ruh [Jibril (Gabriel)] ascend to Him in a Day the measure whereof is fifty thousand years.
French 4:	Les Anges ainsi que l'Esprit montent vers Lui en un jour dont la durée est de cinquante mille ans.
Spanish 4:	Los ángeles y el Espíritu ascienden a Él en un día que equivale a cincuenta mil años.
Indonesian 4:	Malaikat-malaikat dan Jibril naik (menghadap) kepada Tuhan dalam sehari yang kadarnya lima puluh ribu tahun .
Melayu 4:	Yang dilalui oleh malaikat-malaikat dan Jibril ke pusat pemerintahanNya (untuk menerima dan menyempurnakan tugas masing-masing, terutama) pada satu masa yang adalah tempohnya (dirasai oleh orang-orang yang bersalah) sungguh panjang, (kerana banyak hitungan hisab dan berat soal jawabnya).
German 4:	Die Engel und Gabriel steigen zu Ihm auf in einem Tage, dessen Ausmaß fünfzigtausend Jahre beträgt.
Russian 4:	Ангелы и Дух (Джибриль) восходят к Нему в течение дня, равного пятидесяти тысячам лет.
Bosnian 4:	k Njemu se penju meleki i Džibril u danu koji pedeset hiljada godina traje,
Urdu 4:	(جن سیڑھیوں سے) فرشتے اور اہلِ ایمان کی روحیں اس کے پاس چڑھ کر جاتی ہیں (اور وہ عذاب) اس دن ہو گا جس کی مقدار پچاس ہزار سال کی ہے
5	فَاصْبِرْ صَبْرًا جَمِيلًا
Transliteration 5:	Faisbir sabran jameelan
Yusuf Ali 5:	Therefore do thou hold Patience,- a Patience of beautiful (contentment).
Shakir 5:	Therefore endure with a goodly patience.
Pickthal 5:	But be patient (O Muhammad) with a patience fair to see.
Mohsin Khan: 5:	So be patient (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم), with a good patience.
French 5:	Supporte donc, d'une belle patience.
Spanish 5:	¡Ten, pues, digna paciencia!
Indonesian 5:	Maka bersabarlah kamu dengan sabar yang baik.
Melayu 5:	Maka bersabarlah (wahai Muhammad terhadap ejekan golongan yang kafir itu), dengan cara kesabaran yang sebaik-baiknya.
German 5:	Harre darum schön geduldig aus.
Russian 5:	Прояви же красивое терпение.
Bosnian 5:	zato ti budi strpljiv ne jadikujući,
Urdu 5:	آپ اچھی طرح سے صبر کیے رہیں
6	إِنَّهُمْ يَرَوْنَهُ بَعِيدًا
Transliteration 6:	Innahum yarawnahu baAAeedan
Yusuf Ali 6:	They see the (Day) indeed as a far-off (event):
Shakir 6:	Surely they think it to be far off,
Pickthal 6:	Lo! they behold it afar off
Mohsin Khan: 6:	Verily, they see it (the torment) afar off.
French 6:	Ile le (le châtiment) voient bien loin,
Spanish 6:	Piensan que está lejos,
Indonesian 6:	Sesungguhnya mereka memandang siksaan itu jauh (mustahil).
Melayu 6:	Sebenarnya mereka memandang azab itu jauh (daripada berlaku),
German 6:	Sie meinen, er sei ferne;
Russian 6:	Они считают его далеким.
Bosnian 6:	Oni misle da se dogoditi neće,
Urdu 6:	بے شک وہ اسے دور دیکھتے ہیں
7	وَنَرَاهُ قَرِيبًا
Transliteration 7:	Wanarahu qareeban
Yusuf Ali 7:	But We see it (quite) near.
Shakir 7:	And We see it nigh.
Pickthal 7:	While we behold it nigh:
Mohsin Khan: 7:	But We see it (quite) near.
French 7:	alors que Nous le voyons bien proche,
Spanish 7:	pero Nosotros pensamos que está cerca.
Indonesian 7:	Sedangkan kami memandangnya dekat (pasti terjadi).
Melayu 7:	Sedang Kami memandangnya dekat, (tetap akan berlaku),
German 7:	aber Wir sehen, er ist nahe.
Russian 7:	Мы же видим, что оно близко.
Bosnian 7:	a Mi znamo da sigurno hoće,
Urdu 7:	اور ہم اسے قریب دیکھتے ہیں
8	يَوْمَ تَكُونُ السَّمَاءُ كَالْمُهْلِ
Transliteration 8:	Yawma takoonu alssamao kaalmuhli
Yusuf Ali 8:	The Day that the sky will be like molten brass,
Shakir 8:	On the day when the heaven shall be as molten copper
Pickthal 8:	The day when the sky will become as molten copper,
Mohsin Khan: 8:	The Day that the sky will be like the boiling filth of oil, (or molten copper or silver or lead).
French 8:	le jour où le ciel sera comme du métal en fusion
Spanish 8:	El día que el cielo parezca metal fundido,
Indonesian 8:	Pada hari ketika langit menjadi seperti luluhan perak.
Melayu 8:	(Iaitu) pada hari langit menjadi seperti tembaga cair,
German 8:	Am Tage, da der Himmel wie geschmolzenes Metall sein wird,
Russian 8:	В тот день, когда небо станет подобно расплавленному металлу (или осадку масла; или кровавому гною),
Bosnian 8:	onoga Dana kada nebo bude kao talog od zejtina,
Urdu 8:	جس دن آسمان پگھلے ہوئے تانبے کی مانند ہوگا
9	وَتَكُونُ الْجِبَالُ كَالْعِهْنِ
Transliteration 9:	Watakoonu aljibalu kaalAAihni
Yusuf Ali 9:	And the mountains will be like wool,
Shakir 9:	And the mountains shall be as tufts of wool
Pickthal 9:	And the hills become as flakes of wool,
Mohsin Khan: 9:	And the mountains will be like flakes of wool.
French 9:	et les montagnes comme de la laine,
Spanish 9:	y las montañas, copos de lana,
Indonesian 9:	Dan gunung-gunung menjadi seperti bulu (yang beterbangan),
Melayu 9:	Dan gunung-ganang pula menjadi seperti bulu (yang berterbangan)
German 9:	und die Berge wie farbige Wollflocken,
Russian 9:	а горы станут подобны шерсти,
Bosnian 9:	a brda kao vuna šarena,
Urdu 9:	اور پہاڑ دھنی ہوئی رنگداراؤن کی طرح ہوں گے
10	وَلَا يَسْأَلُ حَمِيمٌ حَمِيمًا
Transliteration 10:	Wala yasalu hameemun hameeman
Yusuf Ali 10:	And no friend will ask after a friend,
Shakir 10:	And friend shall not ask of friend
Pickthal 10:	And no familiar friend will ask a question of his friend
Mohsin Khan: 10:	And no friend will ask a friend (about his condition),
French 10:	où nul ami dévoué ne s'enquerra d'un ami,
Spanish 10:	y nadie pregunte por su amigo ferviente.
Indonesian 10:	Dan tidak ada seorang teman akrabpun menanyakan temannya,
Melayu 10:	Dan sahabat karib tidak bertanyakan hal sahabat karibnya, (kerana tiap-tiap seorang sibuk memikirkan hal keadaannya sendiri),
German 10:	und ein Freund nicht mehr nach einem Freunde fragen wird,
Russian 10:	родственник не станет расспрашивать родственника,
Bosnian 10:	kada bližnji neće bližnjega ništa pitati,
Urdu 10:	اور کوئی دوست کسی دوست کو نہیں پوچھے گا
11	يُبَصَّرُونَهُمْ ۚ يَوَدُّ الْمُجْرِمُ لَوْ يَفْتَدِي مِنْ عَذَابِ يَوْمِئِذٍ بِبَنِيهِ
Transliteration 11:	Yubassaroonahum yawaddu almujrimu law yaftadee min AAathabi yawmiithin bibaneehi
Yusuf Ali 11:	Though they will be put in sight of each other,- the sinner's desire will be: Would that he could redeem himself from the Penalty of that Day by (sacrificing) his children,
Shakir 11:	(Though) they shall be made to see each other. The guilty one would fain redeem himself from the chastisement of that day by (sacrificing) his children,
Pickthal 11:	Though they will be given sight of them. The guilty man will long to be able to ransom himself from the punishment of that day at the price of his children
Mohsin Khan: 11:	Though they shall be made to see one another [(i.e. on the Day of Resurrection), there will be none but see his father, children and relatives, but he will neither speak to them nor will ask them for any help]. The Mujrim, (criminal, sinner, disbeliever) would desire to ransom himself from the punishment of that Day by his children,
French 11:	bien qu'ils se voient l'un l'autre. Le criminel aimerait pouvoir se racheter du châtiment de ce jour, en livrant ses enfants,
Spanish 11:	Les será dado verles. El pecador querrá librarse del castigo de ese día ofreciendo como rescate a sus hijos varones,
Indonesian 11:	Sedang mereka saling melihat. Orang kafir ingin kalau sekiranya dia dapat menebus (dirinya) dari azab hari itu dengan anak-anaknya.
Melayu 11:	Padahal masing-masing diberi melihat setengahnya yang lain; (pada saat yang demikian) orang yang kafir suka kiranya dapat menebus dirinya dari azab itu dengan anak-anaknya sendiri,
German 11:	werden sie in Sichtweite zueinander gebracht werden, und der Schuldige würde sich wohl (gern) loskaufen von der Strafe jenes Tages mit seinen Kindern
Russian 11:	хотя они будут видеть друг друга. Грешник пожелает откупиться от мучений того дня своими сыновьями,
Bosnian 11:	iako će jedni druge vidjeti. Nevjernik bi jedva dočekao da se od patnje toga Dana iskupi sinovima svojim,
Urdu 11:	وہ انہیں کھائیں جائیں گے مجرم چاہے گا کہ کاش اس دن کے عذاب کے بدلے میں اپنے بیٹوں کو دے دے
12	وَصَاحِبَتِهِ وَأَخِيهِ
Transliteration 12:	Wasahibatihi waakheehi
Yusuf Ali 12:	His wife and his brother,
Shakir 12:	And his wife and his brother
Pickthal 12:	And his spouse and his brother
Mohsin Khan: 12:	And his wife and his brother,
French 12:	sa compagne, son frère,
Spanish 12:	a su compañera, a su hermano,
Indonesian 12:	Dan isterinya dan saudaranya,
Melayu 12:	Dan isteri serta saudaranya,
German 12:	und seiner Frau und seinem Bruder
Russian 12:	своей супругой и своим братом,
Bosnian 12:	i ženom svojom, i bratom svojim,
Urdu 12:	اوراپنی بیوی اور اپنے بھائی کو
13	وَفَصِيلَتِهِ الَّتِي تُؤْوِيهِ
Transliteration 13:	Wafaseelatihi allatee tuweehi
Yusuf Ali 13:	His kindred who sheltered him,
Shakir 13:	And the nearest of his kinsfolk who gave him shelter,
Pickthal 13:	And his kin that harboured him
Mohsin Khan: 13:	And his kindred who sheltered him,
French 13:	même son clan qui lui donnait asile,
Spanish 13:	Al clan que lo cobijó,
Indonesian 13:	Dan kaum familinya yang melindunginya (di dunia).
Melayu 13:	Dan kaum kerabatnya yang melindunginya,
German 13:	und seiner Verwandtschaft, die ihn beherbergt hat,
Russian 13:	своим родом, который укрывал его,
Bosnian 13:	i porodicim svojom koja ga štiti,
Urdu 13:	اور اپنے اس کنبہ کو جو اسے پناہ دیتا تھا
14	وَمَن فِي الْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًا ثُمَّ يُنجِيهِ
Transliteration 14:	Waman fee alardi jameeAAan thumma yunjeehi
Yusuf Ali 14:	And all, all that is on earth,- so it could deliver him:
Shakir 14:	And all those that are in the earth, (wishing) then (that) this might deliver him.
Pickthal 14:	And all that are in the earth, if then it might deliver him.
Mohsin Khan: 14:	And all that are in the earth, so that it might save him.
French 14:	et tout ce qui est sur la terre, tout, qui pourrait le sauver.
Spanish 14:	a todos los de la tierra. Eso le salvaría.
Indonesian 14:	Dan orang-orang di atas bumi seluruhnya, kemudian (mengharapkan) tebusan itu dapat menyelamatkannya.
Melayu 14:	Dan juga sekalian makhluk yang ada di bumi - kemudian (diharapkannya) tebusan itu dapat menyelamatkannya.
German 14:	und allen, die insgesamt auf Erden sind, wenn es ihn nur retten könnte.
Russian 14:	и всеми обитателями земли, чтобы затем спастись.
Bosnian 14:	i svima ostalima na Zemlji - samo da se izbavi.
Urdu 14:	اوران سب کو جو زمین میں ہیں پھر اپنے آپ کو بچا لے
15	كَلَّا ۖ إِنَّهَا لَظَىٰ
Transliteration 15:	Kalla innaha latha
Yusuf Ali 15:	By no means! for it would be the Fire of Hell!-
Shakir 15:	By no means! Surely it is a flaming fire
Pickthal 15:	But nay! for lo! it is the fire of hell
Mohsin Khan: 15:	By no means! Verily, it will be the Fire of Hell,
French 15:	Mais rien [ne le sauvera]. [L'Enfer] est un brasier
Spanish 15:	¡No! Será una hoguera,
Indonesian 15:	Sekali-kali tidak dapat. Sesungguhnya neraka itu adalah api yang bergejolak,
Melayu 15:	Tidak sekali-kali (sebagaimana yang diharapkannya)! Sesungguhnya Neraka (yang disediakan baginya) tetap menjulang-julang apinya,
German 15:	Nein! Es ist wahrlich eine Feuerflamme,
Russian 15:	Но нет! Это – Адское пламя,
Bosnian 15:	Nikada! Ona će buktinja sama biti
Urdu 15:	ہرگز نہیں بے شک وہ تو ایک آگ ہے
16	نَزَّاعَةً لِّلشَّوَىٰ
Transliteration 16:	NazzaAAatan lilshshawa
Yusuf Ali 16:	Plucking out (his being) right to the skull!-
Shakir 16:	Dragging by the head,
Pickthal 16:	Eager to roast;
Mohsin Khan: 16:	Taking away (burning completely) the head skin!
French 16:	arrachant brutalement la peau du crâne.
Spanish 16:	que arrancará el cuero cabelludo
Indonesian 16:	Yang mengelupaskan kulit kepala,
Melayu 16:	(Membakar serta) menggugurkan kulit ubun-ubun dan anggota anggota tubuh badan,
German 16:	die die Kopfhaut gänzlich wegbrennt.
Russian 16:	сдирающее кожу с головы,
Bosnian 16:	koja će udove čupati,
Urdu 16:	کھالوں کو اتارنے والی
17	تَدْعُو مَنْ أَدْبَرَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ
Transliteration 17:	TadAAoo man adbara watawalla
Yusuf Ali 17:	Inviting (all) such as turn their backs and turn away their faces (from the Right).
Shakir 17:	It shall claim him who turned and fled (from truth),
Pickthal 17:	It calleth him who turned and fled (from truth),
Mohsin Khan: 17:	Calling (all) such as turn their backs and turn away their faces (from Faith) [picking and swallowing them up from that great gathering of mankind on the Day of Resurrection just as a bird picks up a food-grain from the earth with its beak and swallows it up] (Tafsir Al-Qurtubi)
French 17:	Il appellera celui qui tournait le dos et s'en allait,
Spanish 17:	y reclamará a quien retroceda y vuelva la espalda,
Indonesian 17:	Yang memanggil orang yang membelakang dan yang berpaling (dari agama).
Melayu 17:	Neraka itu juga memanggil dan menarik orang yang membelakangi serta berpaling (dari kebenaran),
German 17:	Den wird sie rufen, der (Mir) den Rücken kehrt und sich (von Mir) abwendet
Russian 17:	зовущее тех, кто повернулся спиной и отвернулся,
Bosnian 17:	zvaće onoga ko je glavu okretao i izbjegavao
Urdu 17:	اس کو بلائے گی جس نے پیٹھ پھیری اورمنہ موڑا
18	وَجَمَعَ فَأَوْعَىٰ
Transliteration 18:	WajamaAAa faawAAa
Yusuf Ali 18:	And collect (wealth) and hide it (from use)!
Shakir 18:	And amasses (wealth) then shuts it up.
Pickthal 18:	And hoarded (wealth) and withheld it.
Mohsin Khan: 18:	And collect (wealth) and hide it (from spending it in the Cause of Allah).
French 18:	amassait et thésaurisait.
Spanish 18:	a quien amase y atesore.
Indonesian 18:	Serta mengumpulkan (harta benda) lalu menyimpannya .
Melayu 18:	Dan yang mengumpulkan harta kekayaan lalu menyimpannya (dengan tidak membayar zakatnya).
German 18:	und (Reichtum) aufhäuft und hortet.
Russian 18:	кто копил и прятал.
Bosnian 18:	i zgrtao i skrivao.
Urdu 18:	اور مال جمع کیا اورگن گن کر رکھا
19	۞ إِنَّ الْإِنسَانَ خُلِقَ هَلُوعًا
Transliteration 19:	Inna alinsana khuliqa halooAAan
Yusuf Ali 19:	Truly man was created very impatient;-
Shakir 19:	Surely man is created of a hasty temperament
Pickthal 19:	Lo! man was created anxious,
Mohsin Khan: 19:	Verily, man (disbeliever) was created very impatient;
French 19:	Oui, l'homme a été créé instable [très inquiet];
Spanish 19:	El hombre es de natural impaciente.
Indonesian 19:	Sesungguhnya manusia diciptakan bersifat keluh kesah lagi kikir.
Melayu 19:	Sesungguhnya manusia itu dijadikan bertabiat resah gelisah (lagi bakhil kedekut); -
German 19:	Wahrlich, der Mensch ist (seiner Natur nach) kleinmütig geschaffen worden.
Russian 19:	Воистину, человек создан нетерпеливым,
Bosnian 19:	Čovjek je, uistinu, stvoren malodušan:
Urdu 19:	بے شک انسان کم ہمت پیدا ہوا ہے
20	إِذَا مَسَّهُ الشَّرُّ جَزُوعًا
Transliteration 20:	Itha massahu alshsharru jazooAAan
Yusuf Ali 20:	Fretful when evil touches him;
Shakir 20:	Being greatly grieved when evil afflicts him
Pickthal 20:	Fretful when evil befalleth him
Mohsin Khan: 20:	Irritable (discontented) when evil touches him;
French 20:	quand le malheur le touche, il est abattu;
Spanish 20:	Pusilánime cuando sufre un mal,
Indonesian 20:	Apabila ia ditimpa kesusahan ia berkeluh kesah,
Melayu 20:	Apabila dia ditimpa kesusahan, dia sangat resah gelisah;
German 20:	Wenn ihn ein Unheil trifft, so gerät er in große Panik,
Russian 20:	беспокойным, когда его касается беда,
Bosnian 20:	kada ga nevolja snađe - brižan je,
Urdu 20:	جب اسے تکلیف پہنچتی ہے تو چلا اٹھتا ہے
21	وَإِذَا مَسَّهُ الْخَيْرُ مَنُوعًا
Transliteration 21:	Waitha massahu alkhayru manooAAan
Yusuf Ali 21:	And niggardly when good reaches him;-
Shakir 21:	And niggardly when good befalls him
Pickthal 21:	And, when good befalleth him, grudging;
Mohsin Khan: 21:	And niggardly when good touches him.
French 21:	et quand le bonheur le touche, il est refuseur.
Spanish 21:	mezquino cuando la fortuna le favorece.
Indonesian 21:	dan apabila ia mendapat kebaikan ia amat kikir,
Melayu 21:	Dan apabila dia beroleh kesenangan, dia sangat bakhil kedekut;
German 21:	doch wenn ihm (etwas) Gutes zukommt, ist er geizig.
Russian 21:	и скупым, когда его касается добро.
Bosnian 21:	a kada mu je dobro - nepristupačan je,
Urdu 21:	اور جب اسے مال ملتا ہے تو بڑا بخیل ہے
22	إِلَّا الْمُصَلِّينَ
Transliteration 22:	Illa almusalleena
Yusuf Ali 22:	Not so those devoted to Prayer;-
Shakir 22:	Except those who pray,
Pickthal 22:	Save worshippers.
Mohsin Khan: 22:	Except those who are devoted to Salat (prayers).
French 22:	Sauf ceux qui pratiquent la Salat
Spanish 22:	Se exceptúa a quienes oran

Transliteration 23:	Allatheena hum AAala salatihim daimoona
Yusuf Ali 23:	Those who remain steadfast to their prayer;
Shakir 23:	Those who are constant at their prayer
Pickthal 23:	Who are constant at their worship
Mohsin Khan: 23:	Those who remain constant in their Salat (prayers);
French 23:	qui sont assidu à leurs Salats,
Spanish 23:	perseverando en su azalá,
Indonesian 23:	yang mereka itu tetap mengerjakan shalatnya,
Melayu 23:	Iaitu mereka yang tetap mengerjakan sembahyangnya;
German 23:	und (die Verrichtung) ihrer Gebete einhalten,
Russian 23:	которые регулярно совершают свой намаз,
Bosnian 23:	koji molitve svoje budu na vrijeme obavljali,
Urdu 23:	جو اپنی نماز پر ہمیشہ سے قائم ہیں
24	وَالَّذِينَ فِي أَمْوَالِهِمْ حَقٌّ مَّعْلُومٌ
Transliteration 24:	Waallatheena fee amwalihim haqqun maAAloomun
Yusuf Ali 24:	And those in whose wealth is a recognised right.
Shakir 24:	And those in whose wealth there is a fixed portion.
Pickthal 24:	And in whose wealth there is a right acknowledged
Mohsin Khan: 24:	And those in whose wealth there is a recognised right
French 24:	et sur les bien desquels il y a un droit bien déterminé [la Zakat]
Spanish 24:	parte de cuyos bienes es de derecho
Indonesian 24:	dan orang-orang yang dalam hartanya tersedia bagian tertentu,
Melayu 24:	Dan mereka (yang menentukan bahagian) pada harta-hartanya, menjadi hak yang termaklum -
German 24:	und die, in deren Besitztum ein bestimmter Anteil ist
Russian 24:	которые выделяют известную долю своего имущества
Bosnian 24:	i oni u čijim imecima bude određen dio
Urdu 24:	اوروہ جن کے مالو ں میں حصہ معین ہے
25	لِّلسَّائِلِ وَالْمَحْرُومِ
Transliteration 25:	Lilssaili waalmahroomi
Yusuf Ali 25:	For the (needy) who asks and him who is prevented (for some reason from asking);
Shakir 25:	For him who begs and for him who is denied (good)
Pickthal 25:	For the beggar and the destitute;
Mohsin Khan: 25:	For the beggar who asks, and for the unlucky who has lost his property and wealth, (and his means of living has been straitened).
French 25:	pour le mendiant et le déshérité;
Spanish 25:	para el mendigo y el indigente,
Indonesian 25:	bagi orang (miskin) yang meminta dan orang yang tidak mempunyai apa-apa (yang tidak mau meminta),
Melayu 25:	Bagi orang miskin yang meminta dan orang miskin yang menahan diri (daripada meminta);
German 25:	für den Bittenden und den Unbemittelten,
Russian 25:	для просящих и обездоленных,
Bosnian 25:	za onoga koji prosi i za onoga koji ne prosi,
Urdu 25:	سائل اور غیر سائل کے لیے
26	وَالَّذِينَ يُصَدِّقُونَ بِيَوْمِ الدِّينِ
Transliteration 26:	Waallatheena yusaddiqoona biyawmi alddeeni
Yusuf Ali 26:	And those who hold to the truth of the Day of Judgment;
Shakir 26:	And those who accept the truth of the judgment day
Pickthal 26:	And those who believe in the Day of Judgment,
Mohsin Khan: 26:	And those who believe in the Day of Recompense.
French 26:	et qui déclarent véridique le Jour de la Rétribution,
Spanish 26:	que tienen por auténtico el día del Juicio,
Indonesian 26:	dan orang-orang yang mempercayai hari pembalasan,
Melayu 26:	Dan mereka yang percayakan hari pembalasan (dengan mengerjakan amal-amal yang soleh sebagai buktinya);
German 26:	und die, die an den Tag des Gerichts glauben,
Russian 26:	которые веруют в День воздаяния,
Bosnian 26:	i oni koji u onaj svijet budu vjerovali,
Urdu 26:	اوروہ جو قیامت کے دن کا یقین رکھتے ہیں
27	وَالَّذِينَ هُم مِّنْ عَذَابِ رَبِّهِم مُّشْفِقُونَ
Transliteration 27:	Waallatheena hum min AAathabi rabbihim mushfiqoona
Yusuf Ali 27:	And those who fear the displeasure of their Lord,-
Shakir 27:	And those who are fearful of the chastisement of their Lord--
Pickthal 27:	And those who are fearful of their Lord's doom -
Mohsin Khan: 27:	And those who fear the torment of their Lord.
French 27:	et ceux qui craignent le châtiment de leur Seigneur
Spanish 27:	que temen el castigo de su Señor
Indonesian 27:	dan orang-orang yang takut terhadap azab Tuhannya.
Melayu 27:	Dan mereka yang cemas takut daripada ditimpa azab Tuhannya, -
German 27:	und die, die vor der Strafe ihres Herrn besorgt sind; -
Russian 27:	которые трепещут перед мучениями от своего Господа,
Bosnian 27:	i oni koji od kazne Gospodara svoga budu strahovali -
Urdu 27:	اور وہ جو اپنے رب کے عذاب سے ڈرنے والے ہیں
28	إِنَّ عَذَابَ رَبِّهِمْ غَيْرُ مَأْمُونٍ
Transliteration 28:	Inna AAathaba rabbihim ghayru mamoonin
Yusuf Ali 28:	For their Lord's displeasure is the opposite of Peace and Tranquillity;-
Shakir 28:	Surely the chastisement of their Lord is (a thing) not to be felt secure of--
Pickthal 28:	Lo! the doom of their Lord is that before which none can feel secure -
Mohsin Khan: 28:	Verily, the torment of their Lord is that before which none can feel secure. -
French 28:	car vraiment, il n'y a nulle assurance contre le châtiment de leur Seigneur;
Spanish 28:	-nadie debe sentirse seguro contra el castigo de su Señor-,
Indonesian 28:	Karena sesungguhnya azab Tuhan mereka tidak dapat orang merasa aman (dari kedatangannya).
Melayu 28:	Kerana sesungguhnya azab Tuhan mereka, tidak patut (bagi seseorangpun) merasa aman terhadapnya;
German 28:	wahrlich die Strafe ihres Herrn ist nichts, wovor man sicher sein könnte -;
Russian 28:	ведь мучения от их Господа небезопасны,
Bosnian 28:	a od kazne Gospodara svoga niko nije siguran -
Urdu 28:	بے شک ان کے رب کے عذاب کا خطرہ لگا ہوا ہے
29	وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ لِفُرُوجِهِمْ حَافِظُونَ
Transliteration 29:	Waallatheena hum lifuroojihim hafithoona
Yusuf Ali 29:	And those who guard their chastity,
Shakir 29:	And those who guard their private parts,
Pickthal 29:	And those who preserve their chastity
Mohsin Khan: 29:	And those who guard their chastity (i.e. private parts from illegal sexual acts).
French 29:	et qui se maintiennent dans la chasteté
Spanish 29:	que se abstienen de comercio carnal,
Indonesian 29:	Dan orang-orang yang memelihara kemaluannya,
Melayu 29:	Dan mereka yang menjaga kehormatannya, -
German 29:	und die, die ihre Scham bewahren,
Russian 29:	которые оберегают свои половые органы от всех,
Bosnian 29:	i oni koji stidna mjesta svoja budu čuvali
Urdu 29:	اوروہ جو اپنی شرم گاہوں کی حفاظت کرتے ہیں
30	إِلَّا عَلَىٰ أَزْوَاجِهِمْ أَوْ مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُهُمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ غَيْرُ مَلُومِينَ
Transliteration 30:	Illa AAala azwajihim aw ma malakat aymanuhum fainnahum ghayru maloomeena
Yusuf Ali 30:	Except with their wives and the (captives) whom their right hands possess,- for (then) they are not to be blamed,
Shakir 30:	Except in the case of their wives or those whom their right hands possess-- for these surely are not to be blamed,
Pickthal 30:	Save with their wives and those whom their right hands possess, for thus they are not blameworthy;
Mohsin Khan: 30:	Except from their wives or the (women slaves) whom their right hands possess - for (then) they are not blameworthy.
French 30:	et n'ont pas de rapports qu'avec leurs épouses ou les esclaves qu'ils possèdent car dans ce cas, ils ne sont pas blâmables,
Spanish 30:	salvo con sus esposas o con sus esclavas -en cuyo caso no incurren en reproche,
Indonesian 30:	kecuali terhadap isteri-isteri mereka atau budak-budak yang mereka miliki maka sesungguhnya mereka dalam hal ini tiada tercela.
Melayu 30:	Kecuali kepada isterinya atau kepada hambanya, maka sesungguhnya mereka tidak tercela;
German 30:	außer bei ihren Gattinnen oder denen, die sie von Rechts wegen besitzen; denn da sind sie nicht zu tadeln.
Russian 30:	кроме своих жен и невольниц, которыми овладели их десницы, за что они не заслуживают порицания,
Bosnian 30:	i živjeli jedino sa ženama svojim ili sa onima koje su u vlasništvu njihovu - oni, doista, prijekor ne zaslužuju -
Urdu 30:	مگر اپنی بیویوں یا اپنی لونڈیوں سے سو بے شک انہیں کوئی ملامت نہیں
31	فَمَنِ ابْتَغَىٰ وَرَاءَ ذَ‌ٰلِكَ فَأُولَـٰئِكَ هُمُ الْعَادُونَ
Transliteration 31:	Famani ibtagha waraa thalika faolaika humu alAAadoona
Yusuf Ali 31:	But those who trespass beyond this are transgressors;-
Shakir 31:	But he who seeks to go beyond this, these it is that go beyond the limits--
Pickthal 31:	But whoso seeketh more than that, those are they who are transgressors;
Mohsin Khan: 31:	But whosoever seeks beyond that, then it is those who are trespassers.
French 31:	mais ceux qui cherchent [leur plaisir] en dehors de cela, sont des transgresseurs;
Spanish 31:	mientras que quienes desean a otras mujeres, ésos son los que violan la ley-,
Indonesian 31:	Barangsiapa mencari yang di balik itu maka mereka itulah orang-orang yang melampaui batas.
Melayu 31:	Kemudian sesiapa yang mengingini selain dari yang demikian, maka merekalah orang-orang yang melampaui batas;
German 31:	Diejenigen aber, die darüber hinaus etwas suchen, das sind die Ubertreter.
Russian 31:	тогда как желающие сверх этого являются преступниками;
Bosnian 31:	a oni koji traže izvan toga, oni u grijeh upadaju,
Urdu 31:	پس جو کوئی اس کے سوا چاہے سو وہی لوگ حد سے بڑھنے والے ہیں
32	وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ لِأَمَانَاتِهِمْ وَعَهْدِهِمْ رَاعُونَ
Transliteration 32:	Waallatheena hum liamanatihim waAAahdihim raAAoona
Yusuf Ali 32:	And those who respect their trusts and covenants;
Shakir 32:	And those who are faithful to their trusts and their covenant
Pickthal 32:	And those who keep their pledges and their covenant,
Mohsin Khan: 32:	And those who keep their trusts and covenants.
French 32:	et qui gardent les dépòts confiés à eux, et respectent leurs engagements scrupuleusement.
Spanish 32:	que respetan los depósitos que se les confían y las promesas que hacen,
Indonesian 32:	Dan orang-orang yang memelihara amanat-amanat (yang dipikulnya) dan janjinya.
Melayu 32:	Dan mereka yang menjaga amanah dan janjinya;
German 32:	Und die, die mit dem ihnen anvertrauten Gut redlich umgehen und erfüllen, wozu sie sich verpflichtet haben,
Russian 32:	которые сохраняют доверенное им и соблюдают договоры,
Bosnian 32:	i oni koji povjerene im amanete budu čuvali i obaveze svoje ispunjavali,
Urdu 32:	اور وہ جواپنی امانتوں اور عہدوں کی رعایت رکھتے ہیں
33	وَالَّذِينَ هُم بِشَهَادَاتِهِمْ قَائِمُونَ
Transliteration 33:	Waallatheena hum bishahadatihim qaimoona
Yusuf Ali 33:	And those who stand firm in their testimonies;
Shakir 33:	And those who are upright in their testimonies,
Pickthal 33:	And those who stand by their testimony
Mohsin Khan: 33:	And those who stand firm in their testimonies.
French 33:	et qui témoignent de la stricte vérité,
Spanish 33:	que dicen la verdad en sus testimonios,
Indonesian 33:	Dan orang-orang yang memberikan kesaksiannya.
Melayu 33:	Dan mereka yang memberikan keterangan dengan benar lagi adil (semasa mereka menjadi saksi);
German 33:	und die, die in ihrer Zeugenaussage aufrichtig sind,
Russian 33:	которые стойки в своих свидетельствах
Bosnian 33:	i oni koji dug svjedočenja svoga budu izvršavali,
Urdu 33:	اور وہ جو اپنی گواہیوں پر قائم رہتے ہیں
34	وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ عَلَىٰ صَلَاتِهِمْ يُحَافِظُونَ
Transliteration 34:	Waallatheena hum AAala salatihim yuhafithoona
Yusuf Ali 34:	And those who guard (the sacredness) of their worship;-
Shakir 34:	And those who keep a guard on their prayer,
Pickthal 34:	And those who are attentive at their worship.
Mohsin Khan: 34:	And those who guard their Salat (prayers) well.
French 34:	et qui sont régulier dans leur Salat.
Spanish 34:	que observan su azalá.
Indonesian 34:	Dan orang-orang yang memelihara shalatnya.
Melayu 34:	Dan mereka yang tetap memelihara sembahyangnya;
German 34:	und die, die ihr Gebet getreulich verrichten;
Russian 34:	и которые оберегают свой намаз.
Bosnian 34:	i oni koji molitve svoje budu revnosno obavljali -
Urdu 34:	اور وہ جو اپنی نمازوں کی حفاظت کرتے ہیں
35	أُولَـٰئِكَ فِي جَنَّاتٍ مُّكْرَمُونَ
Transliteration 35:	Olaika fee jannatin mukramoona
Yusuf Ali 35:	Such will be the honoured ones in the Gardens (of Bliss).
Shakir 35:	Those shall be in gardens, honored.
Pickthal 35:	These will dwell in Gardens, honoured.
Mohsin Khan: 35:	Such shall dwell in the Gardens (i.e. Paradise), honoured.
French 35:	Ceux-là seront honorés dans des Jardins.
Spanish 35:	Esos tales estarán en jardines, honrados.
Indonesian 35:	Mereka itu (kekal) di surga lagi dimuliakan.
Melayu 35:	Mereka (yang demikian sifatnya) ditempatkan di dalam Syurga dengan diberikan penghormatan.
German 35:	diese sind es, die in den Gärten hochgeehrt sein werden.
Russian 35:	Им будет оказано почтение в Райских садах.
Bosnian 35:	oni će u džennetskim baščama biti počašćeni.
Urdu 35:	وہی لوگ باغوں میں عزت سے رہیں گے
36	فَمَالِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا قِبَلَكَ مُهْطِعِينَ
Transliteration 36:	Famali allatheena kafaroo qibalaka muhtiAAeena
Yusuf Ali 36:	Now what is the matter with the Unbelievers that they rush madly before thee-
Shakir 36:	But what is the matter with those who disbelieve that they hasten on around you,
Pickthal 36:	What aileth those who disbelieve, that they keep staring toward thee (O Muhammad), open-eyed,
Mohsin Khan: 36:	So what is the matter with those who disbelieve that they hasten to listen from you [O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم), in order to belie you and to mock at you, and at Allah's Book (this Qur'an)].
French 36:	Qu'ont donc, ceux qui ont mécru, à courir vers toi, le cou tendu,
Spanish 36:	¿Qué les pasa a los infieles, que vienen hacia ti corriendo con el cuello extendido,
Indonesian 36:	Mengapakah orang-orang kafir itu bersegera datang ke arahmu,
Melayu 36:	Maka apakah yang menyebabkan orang-orang kafir, yang menentangmu (wahai Muhammad) datang berkejaran ke sisimu -
German 36:	Was aber ist mit denen, die ungläubig sind, daß sie auf dich zugelaufen kommen
Russian 36:	Что же с теми, которые не уверовали и бегут перед тобой
Bosnian 36:	Zašto se nevjernici prema tebi žure,
Urdu 36:	پس کافروں کو کیا ہوگیا کہ آپ کی طرف دوڑے آ رہے ہیں
37	عَنِ الْيَمِينِ وَعَنِ الشِّمَالِ عِزِينَ
Transliteration 37:	AAani alyameeni waAAani alshshimali AAizeena
Yusuf Ali 37:	From the right and from the left, in crowds?
Shakir 37:	On the right hand and on the left, in sundry parties?
Pickthal 37:	On the right and on the left, in groups?
Mohsin Khan: 37:	(Sitting) in groups on the right and on the left (of you, O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم)?
French 37:	de droite et de gauche, [venant] par bandes?
Spanish 37:	en grupos, por la derecha y por la izquierda?
Indonesian 37:	Dari kanan dan dari kiri dengan berkelompok-kelompok?
Melayu 37:	(Sambil mereka) berkumpul berpuak-puak di sebelah kanan dan di sebelah kirimu.
German 37:	von rechts und links, in Gruppen?
Russian 37:	толпами справа и слева?
Bosnian 37:	zdesna i slijeva, u gomilama?!
Urdu 37:	دائیں اور بائیں سے ٹولیاں بنا کر
38	أَيَطْمَعُ كُلُّ امْرِئٍ مِّنْهُمْ أَن يُدْخَلَ جَنَّةَ نَعِيمٍ
Transliteration 38:	AyatmaAAu kullu imriin minhum an yudkhala jannata naAAeemin
Yusuf Ali 38:	Does every man of them long to enter the Garden of Bliss?
Shakir 38:	Does every man of them desire that he should be made to enter the garden of bliss?
Pickthal 38:	Doth every man among them hope to enter the Garden of Delight?
Mohsin Khan: 38:	Does every man of them hope to enter the Paradise of Delight?
French 38:	Chacun d'eux convoite-t-il qu'on le laisse entrer au Jardin des délices?
Spanish 38:	¿Es que cada uno de ellos anhela ser introducido en un jardín de delicia?
Indonesian 38:	Adakah setiap orang dari orang-orang kafir itu ingin masuk ke dalam surga yang penuh keni'matan?,
Melayu 38:	Patutkah tiap-tiap seorang dari mereka berharap supaya dimasukkan ke dalam Syurga yang penuh nikmat (sedang dia tidak beriman)?
German 38:	Hofft jeder einzelne von ihnen wohl, den Garten der Wonne zu betreten?
Russian 38:	Неужели каждый из них надеется, что его введут в Сад блаженства?
Bosnian 38:	Kako svaki od njih žudi da u Džennet uživanja uđe?
Urdu 38:	کیا ہر ایک ان میں سے طمع رکھتا ہے کہ وہ نعمت کے باغ میں داخل کیا جاوے گا
39	كَلَّا ۖ إِنَّا خَلَقْنَاهُم مِّمَّا يَعْلَمُونَ
Transliteration 39:	Kalla inna khalaqnahum mimma yaAAlamoona
Yusuf Ali 39:	By no means! For We have created them out of the (base matter) they know!
Shakir 39:	By no means! Surely We have created them of what they know.
Pickthal 39:	Nay, verily. Lo! We created them from what they know.
Mohsin Khan: 39:	No, that is not like that! Verily, We have created them out of that which they know!
French 39:	Mais non! Nous les avons créés de ce qu'ils savent.
Spanish 39:	¡No! Les creamos de lo que saben.
Indonesian 39:	Sekali-kali tidak! Sesungguhnya Kami ciptakan mereka dari apa yang mereka ketahui (air mani) .
Melayu 39:	Tidak sekali-kali! (Mereka yang kufur ingkar tidak akan dapat memasukinya). Sesungguhnya Kami telah menciptakan mereka dari apa yang mereka sedia mengetahuinya.
German 39:	Niemals! Sie wissen doch, woraus Wir sie erschufen.
Russian 39:	Но нет! Мы сотворили их из того, что им известно.
Bosnian 39:	Nikada! Mi ih stvaramo, od čega - oni znaju!
Urdu 39:	ہرگز نہیں بے شک ہم نے انہیں اس چیز سے پیدا کیا ہے جسے وہ بھی جانتے ہیں
40	فَلَا أُقْسِمُ بِرَبِّ الْمَشَارِقِ وَالْمَغَارِبِ إِنَّا لَقَادِرُونَ
Transliteration 40:	Fala oqsimu birabbi almashariqi waalmagharibi inna laqadiroona
Yusuf Ali 40:	Now I do call to witness the Lord of all points in the East and the West that We can certainly-
Shakir 40:	But nay! I swear by the Lord of the Easts and the Wests that We are certainly able
Pickthal 40:	But nay! I swear by the Lord of the rising-places and the setting-places of the planets that We verily are Able
Mohsin Khan: 40:	So I swear by the Lord of all the [three hundred and sixty-five (365)] points of sunrise and sunset in the east and the west that surely We are Able
French 40:	Eh Non!. Je jure par le Seigneur des Levants et des Couchants que Nous sommes Capable
Spanish 40:	¡Pues no! ¡Juro por el Señor de los Orientes y de los Occidentes, que somos bien capaces
Indonesian 40:	Maka Aku bersumpah dengan Tuhan Yang Mengatur tempat terbit dan terbenamnya matahari, bulan dan bintang; sesungguhnya Kami benar-benar Maha Kuasa.
Melayu 40:	Maka Aku bersumpah dengan (kebesaranKu) Tuhan yang menguasai (seluruh alam, meliputi) tempat-tempat terbit (matahari dan bulan bintang) dan tempat-tempat tenggelamnya, - sesungguhnya Kami berkuasa -
German 40:	Aber nein! Ich schwöre beim Herrn der Aufgänge und der Untergänge, daß Wir imstande sind,
Russian 40:	Клянусь Господом востоков и западов! Мы в состоянии
Bosnian 40:	I Ja se kunem Gospodarom istoka i zapada da ih možemo
Urdu 40:	پس میں مشرقوں اور مغربوں کے پروردگار کی قسم کھاتا ہوں (یعنی اپنی ذات کی) کہ ہم ضرور قادر ہیں
41	عَلَىٰ أَن نُّبَدِّلَ خَيْرًا مِّنْهُمْ وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمَسْبُوقِينَ
Transliteration 41:	AAala an nubaddila khayran minhum wama nahnu bimasbooqeena
Yusuf Ali 41:	Substitute for them better (men) than they; And We are not to be defeated (in Our Plan).
Shakir 41:	To bring instead (others) better than them, and We shall not be overcome.
Pickthal 41:	To replace them by (others) better than them. And we are not to be outrun.
Mohsin Khan: 41:	To replace them by (others) better than them; and We are not to be outrun.
French 41:	De les remplacer par de meilleurs qu'eux, et nul ne peut Nous en empêcher.
Spanish 41:	de sustituirles por otros mejores que ellos, sin que nadie pueda impedírnoslo!
Indonesian 41:	Untuk mengganti (mereka) dengan kaum yang lebih baik dari mereka, dan kami sekali-kali tidak dapat dikalahkan.
Melayu 41:	(Membinasakan mereka, serta) menggantikan mereka dengan makhluk-makluk yang lebih baik dari mereka dan Kami tidak sekali-kali dapat dikalahkan atau dilemahkan.
German 41:	bessere als sie an ihre Stelle zu setzen, und keiner kann Uns (daran) hindern.
Russian 41:	заменить их теми, кто лучше них, и никто не превзойдет Нас.
Bosnian 41:	boljim od njih zamijeniti i niko nas u tome ne može spriječiti.
Urdu 41:	اس بات پر کہ ہم ان سے بہتر لوگ بدل کر لا سکتے ہیں اور ہم عاجز بھی نہیں ہیں
42	فَذَرْهُمْ يَخُوضُوا وَيَلْعَبُوا حَتَّىٰ يُلَاقُوا يَوْمَهُمُ الَّذِي يُوعَدُونَ
Transliteration 42:	Fatharhum yakhoodoo wayalAAaboo hatta yulaqoo yawmahumu allathee yooAAadoona
Yusuf Ali 42:	So leave them to plunge in vain talk and play about, until they encounter that Day of theirs which they have been promised!-
Shakir 42:	Therefore leave them alone to go on with the false discourses and to sport until they come face to face with that day of theirs with which they are threatened;
Pickthal 42:	So let them chat and play until they meet their Day which they are promised,
Mohsin Khan: 42:	So leave them to plunge in vain talk and play about, until they meet their Day which they are promised -
French 42:	Laisse-les donc s'enfoncer (dans leur mécréance) et se divertir jusqu'à ce qu'ils rencontrent leur jour dont on les menaçait,
Spanish 42:	¡Déjales que parloteen y jueguen hasta que les llegue el día con que se les ha amenazado,
Indonesian 42:	Maka biarkanlah mereka tenggelam (dalam kebathilan) dan bermain-main sampai mereka menjumpai hari yang diancamkan kepada mereka,
Melayu 42:	Oleh itu, biarkanlah mereka (wahai Muhammad) tenggelam dalam kesesatannya dan leka bermain-main (dalam dunianya), sehingga mereka menemui hari yang dijanjikan kepada mereka (untuk menerima balasan)! -
German 42:	So laß sie nur plaudern und sich vergnügen, bis sie ihrem Tag begegnen, der ihnen angedroht wird,
Russian 42:	Оставь же их погружаться в словоблудие и забавляться, пока они не встретят тот день их, который им обещан.
Bosnian 42:	Zato ih ostavi neka se napričaju i nazabavljaju dok Dan kojim im se prijeti ne dočekaju,
Urdu 42:	پھر انہیں چھوڑ دو کہ وہ بیہودہ باتوں اور کھیل میں لگے رہیں یہاں تک کہ وہ دن دیکھ لیں جس کا ان سے وعدہ کیا جاتا ہے
43	يَوْمَ يَخْرُجُونَ مِنَ الْأَجْدَاثِ سِرَاعًا كَأَنَّهُمْ إِلَىٰ نُصُبٍ يُوفِضُونَ
Transliteration 43:	Yawma yakhrujoona mina alajdathi siraAAan kaannahum ila nusubin yoofidoona
Yusuf Ali 43:	The Day whereon they will issue from their sepulchres in sudden haste as if they were rushing to a goal-post (fixed for them),-
Shakir 43:	The day on which they shall come forth from their graves in haste, as if they were hastening on to a goal,
Pickthal 43:	The day when they come forth from the graves in haste, as racing to a goal,
Mohsin Khan: 43:	The Day when they will come out of the graves quickly as racing to a goal,
French 43:	le jour où ils sortiront des tombes, rapides comme s'ils couraient vers des pierres dressées;
Spanish 43:	el día que salgan de las sepulturas, rápidos como si corrieran hacia piedras erectas,
Indonesian 43:	(yaitu) pada hari mereka keluar dari kubur dengan cepat seakan-akan mereka pergi dengan segera kepada berhala-berhala (sewaktu di dunia),
Melayu 43:	Iaitu hari mereka segera keluar dari kubur masing-masing menuju (ke Padang Mahsyar) dengan keadaan seolah-olah mereka berkejaran ke (tempat) berhala-berhala (yang mereka sembah dahulu),
German 43:	dem Tag, an dem sie aus ihren Gräbern eilends hervorkommen, als eilten sie zu ihren Götzenfiguren.
Russian 43:	В тот день они торопливо выйдут из могил, словно устремляясь к воздвигнутой цели (или идолам; или охотничей сети).
Bosnian 43:	Dan u kome će žurno kao da kumirima hrle iz grobova izići,
Urdu 43:	جس دن وہ دوڑتے ہوئے قبروں سے نکل پڑیں گے گویا کہ وہ ایک نشان کی طرف دوڑے چلے جارہے ہیں
44	خَاشِعَةً أَبْصَارُهُمْ تَرْهَقُهُمْ ذِلَّةٌ ۚ ذَ‌ٰلِكَ الْيَوْمُ الَّذِي كَانُوا يُوعَدُونَ
Transliteration 44:	KhashiAAatan absaruhum tarhaquhum thillatun thalika alyawmu allathee kanoo yooAAadoona
Yusuf Ali 44:	Their eyes lowered in dejection,- ignominy covering them (all over)! such is the Day the which they are promised!
Shakir 44:	Their eyes cast down; disgrace shall overtake them; that is the day which they were threatened with.
Pickthal 44:	With eyes aghast, abasement stupefying them: Such is the Day which they are promised.
Mohsin Khan: 44:	With their eyes lowered in fear and humility, ignominy covering them (all over)! That is the Day which they were promised!
French 44:	leurs yeux seront abaissés, l'avilissement les couvrira. C'est cela le jour dont on les menaçait!
Spanish 44:	la mirada abatida, cubiertos de humillación! Tal será el día con que se les había amenazado.
Indonesian 44:	dalam keadaan mereka menekurkan pandangannya (serta) diliputi kehinaan. Itulah hari yang dahulunya diancamkan kepada mereka.
Melayu 44:	Sambil pandangan mereka tunduk, serta mereka diliputi kehinaan; itulah hari yang telah dijanjikan kepada mereka.
German 44:	Ihre Augen werden niedergeschlagen sein; Schmach wird sie bedecken. Das ist der Tag, der ihnen angedroht wird.
Russian 44:	Их взоры потупятся, и унижение покроет их. Это будет тот день, который им обещан!
Bosnian 44:	oborenih pogleda i poniženjem oprhvani. To će biti onaj Dan kojim im se stalno prijeti!
Urdu 44:	ان کی نگاہیں جھکی ہوں گی ان پر ذلت چھا رہی ہو گی یہی وہ دن ہے جس کا ان سے وعدہ کیا جاتا تھا
