Transliteration 2:	Waalkitabi almubeeni
Yusuf Ali 2:	By the Book that makes things clear;-
Shakir 2:	I swear by the Book that makes manifest (the truth).
Pickthal 2:	By the Scripture that maketh plain
Mohsin Khan: 2:	By the manifest Book (this Qur'an) that makes things clear.

3	إِنَّا أَنزَلْنَاهُ فِي لَيْلَةٍ مُّبَارَكَةٍ ۚ إِنَّا كُنَّا مُنذِرِينَ
Transliteration 3:	Inna anzalnahu fee laylatin mubarakatin inna kunna munthireena
Yusuf Ali 3:	We sent it down during a Blessed Night: for We (ever) wish to warn (against Evil).
Shakir 3:	Surely We revealed it on a blessed night surely We are ever warning--
Pickthal 3:	Lo! We revealed it on a blessed night - Lo! We are ever warning -
Mohsin Khan: 3:	We sent it (this Qur'an) down on a blessed night [(i.e. night of Al-Qadr, Surah No. 97) in the month of Ramadan - the 9th month of the Islamic calendar]. Verily, We are ever warning [mankind that Our Torment will reach those who disbelieve in Our Oneness of Lordship and in Our Oneness of worship].
French 3:	Nous l'avons fait descendre en une nuit bénie, Nous sommes en vérité Celui qui avertit,
Spanish 3:	¡La hemos revelado en una noche bendita! ¡Hemos advertido!
Indonesian 3:	sesungguhnya Kami menurunkannya pada suatu malam yang diberkahi dan sesungguhnya Kami-lah yang memberi peringatan.
Melayu 3:	Sesungguhnya Kami telah menurunkan Al-Quran itu pada malam yang berkat; (Kami berbuat demikian) kerana sesungguhnya Kami sentiasa memberi peringatan dan amaran (jangan hamba-hamba Kami ditimpa azab).
German 3:	Wahrlich, Wir haben es in einer gesegneten Nacht herabgesandt - wahrlich, Wir haben damit gewarnt;
Russian 3:	Мы ниспослали его в благословенную ночь, и Мы предостерегаем.
Bosnian 3:	Mi smo počeli da je u Blagoslovljenoj noći objavljujemo - i Mi, doista, opominjemo -
Urdu 3:	ہم نے اسے مبارک رات میں نازل کیا ہے بے شک ہمیں ڈرانا مقصود تھا
4	فِيهَا يُفْرَقُ كُلُّ أَمْرٍ حَكِيمٍ
Transliteration 4:	Feeha yufraqu kullu amrin hakeemin
Yusuf Ali 4:	In the (Night) is made distinct every affair of wisdom,
Shakir 4:	Therein every wise affair is made distinct,
Pickthal 4:	Whereon every wise command is made clear
Mohsin Khan: 4:	Therein (that night) is decreed every matter of ordainments.
French 4:	durant laquelle est décidé tout ordre sage,
Spanish 4:	En ella se decide todo asunto sabiamente,
Indonesian 4:	Pada malam itu dijelaskan segala urusan yang penuh hikmah .
Melayu 4:	(Kami menurunkan Al-Quran pada malam yang tersebut, kerana) pada malam yang berkat itu, dijelaskan (kepada malaikat) tiap-tiap perkara yang mengandungi hikmat serta tetap berlaku, (tidak berubah atau bertukar).
German 4:	in dieser (Nacht) wird jegliche weise Sache entschieden
Russian 4:	В ней решаются все мудрые дела
Bosnian 4:	u kojoj se svaki mudri posao riješi
Urdu 4:	سارے کام جو حکمت پر مبنی ہیں اسی رات تصفیہ پاتے ہیں
5	أَمْرًا مِّنْ عِندِنَا ۚ إِنَّا كُنَّا مُرْسِلِينَ
Transliteration 5:	Amran min AAindina inna kunna mursileena
Yusuf Ali 5:	By command, from Our Presence. For We (ever) send (revelations),
Shakir 5:	A command from Us; surely We are the senders (of messengers),
Pickthal 5:	As a command from Our presence - Lo! We are ever sending -
Mohsin Khan: 5:	As a Command (or this Qur'an or the Decree of every matter) from Us. Verily, We are ever sending (the Messengers),
French 5:	c'est là un commandement venant de Nous. C'est Nous qui envoyons [les Messagers],
Spanish 5:	como cosa venida de Nosotros. Mandamos a enviados
Indonesian 5:	(yaitu) urusan yang besar dari sisi Kami. Sesungguhnya Kami adalah Yang mengutus rasul-rasul,
Melayu 5:	Iaitu perkara-perkara yang terbitnya dari hikmat kebijaksanaan Kami; sesungguhnya telah menjadi adat Kami mengutus Rasul.
German 5:	auf Grund Unseres Befehls. Wahrlich, Wir haben (Gesandte) geschickt
Russian 5:	по повелению от Нас. Мы посылаем пророков и Писания
Bosnian 5:	po zapovijedi Našoj! Mi smo, zaista, slali poslanike
Urdu 5:	ہمارے خاص حکم سے کیوں کہ ہمیں رسول بھیجنا منظور تھا
6	رَحْمَةً مِّن رَّبِّكَ ۚ إِنَّهُ هُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
Transliteration 6:	Rahmatan min rabbika innahu huwa alssameeAAu alAAaleemu
Yusuf Ali 6:	As Mercy from thy Lord: for He hears and knows (all things);
Shakir 6:	A mercy from your Lord, surely He is the Hearing, the Knowing,
Pickthal 6:	A mercy from thy Lord. Lo! He, even He is the Hearer, the Knower,
Mohsin Khan: 6:	(As) a Mercy from your Lord. Verily, He is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower.
French 6:	à titre de miséricordieux de la part de ton Seigneur, car c'est Lui l'Audient, l'Omniscient,
Spanish 6:	como misericordia venida de tu Señor. Él es Quien todo lo oye, Quien todo lo sabe,
Indonesian 6:	sebagai rahmat dari Tuhanmu. Sesungguhnya Dialah Yang Maha Mendengar lagi Maha Mengetahui,
Melayu 6:	(Untuk menyampaikan) rahmat dari Tuhanmu (kepada umat manusia); sesungguhnya Allah Jualah Yang Maha Mendengar, lagi Maha Mengetahui (akan segala keadaan hamba-hambaNya).
German 6:	als eine Barmherzigkeit von deinem Herrn; Er ist der Allhörende, der Allwissende,
Russian 6:	по милости твоего Господа, Слышащего, Знающего,
Bosnian 6:	kao milost Gospodara tvoga - On, uistinu, sve čuje i sve zna,
Urdu 6:	آپ کے پروردگار کی رحمت ہے بے شک وہی سب کچھ سننے والا جاننے والا ہے
7	رَبِّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا ۖ إِن كُنتُم مُّوقِنِينَ
Transliteration 7:	Rabbi alssamawati waalardi wama baynahuma in kuntum mooqineena
Yusuf Ali 7:	The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all between them, if ye (but) have an assured faith.
Shakir 7:	The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, if you would be sure.
Pickthal 7:	Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, if ye would be sure.
Mohsin Khan: 7:	The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, if you (but) have a faith with certainty.
French 7:	Seigneur des cieux et de la terre et de ce qui est entre eux, si seulement vous pouviez en avoir la conviction.
Spanish 7:	Señor de los cielos, de la tierra y de lo que entre ellos está. Si estuvierais convencidos...
Indonesian 7:	Tuhan Yang memelihara langit dan bumi dan apa yang ada di antara keduanya, jika kamu adalah orang yang meyakini.
Melayu 7:	Tuhan (yang mencipta dan mentadbirkan keadaan) langit dan bumi serta segala yang ada di antara keduanya; kalau betul kamu orang-orang yang yakin (akan hakikat itu, maka terimalah sahaja apa yang diutuskan kepada kamu).
German 7:	der Herr der Himmel und der Erde und all dessen, was zwischen beiden ist, wenn ihr nur Gewißheit (im Glauben) hättet.
Russian 7:	Господа небес, земли и того, что между ними, если только вы обладаете убежденностью.
Bosnian 7:	Gospodara nebesa i Zemlje i onoga što je između njih - ako čvrsto vjerujete,
Urdu 7:	آسمانوں اور زمین کا رب ہے اور جو کچھ ان کے درمیان ہے اگر تم یقین کر نے والے ہو
8	لَا إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ ۖ رَبُّكُمْ وَرَبُّ آبَائِكُمُ الْأَوَّلِينَ
Transliteration 8:	La ilaha illa huwa yuhyee wayumeetu rabbukum warabbu abaikumu alawwaleena
Yusuf Ali 8:	There is no god but He: It is He Who gives life and gives death,- The Lord and Cherisher to you and your earliest ancestors.
Shakir 8:	There is no god but He; He gives life and causes death, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore.
Pickthal 8:	There is no Allah save Him. He quickeneth and giveth death; your Lord and Lord of your forefathers.
Mohsin Khan: 8:	La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He). It is He Who gives life and causes death - your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers.
French 8:	Point de divinité à part Lui. Il donne la vie et donne la mort, et Il est votre Seigneur et le Seigneur de vos premiers ancêtres.
Spanish 8:	No hay más dios que Él. Él da la vida y da la muerte. Vuestro Señor y Señor de vuestros antepasados.
Indonesian 8:	Tidak ada Tuhan (yang berhak disembah) melainkan Dia, Yang menghidupkan dan Yang mematikan. (Dialah) Tuhanmu dan Tuhan bapak-bapakmu yang terdahulu.
Melayu 8:	Tiada Tuhan yang berhak disembah melainkan Dia; Dialah Yang menghidupkan dan Yang mematikan; (Dialah jua) Tuhan kamu dan Tuhan datuk nenek kamu yang telah lalu.
German 8:	Es ist kein Gott außer Ihm. Er macht lebendig und läßt sterben - (Er ist) euer Herr und der Herr eurer Vorväter.
Russian 8:	Нет божества, кроме Него. Он оживляет и умерщвляет. Он – ваш Господь и Господь ваших отцов.
Bosnian 8:	drugog boga osim Njega nema; On život i smrt daje, Gospodara vašeg i Gospodara vaših predaka davnih!
Urdu 8:	اس کے سوا اورکوئی معبود نہیں زندہ کرتا ہے اور مارتا ہے تمہارا بھی رب ہے او رتمہارے پہلے باپ دادا کا بھی
9	بَلْ هُمْ فِي شَكٍّ يَلْعَبُونَ
Transliteration 9:	Bal hum fee shakkin yalAAaboona
Yusuf Ali 9:	Yet they play about in doubt.
Shakir 9:	Nay, they are in doubt, they sport.
Pickthal 9:	Nay, but they play in doubt.
Mohsin Khan: 9:	Nay! They play about in doubt.
French 9:	Mais ces gens-là, dans le doute, s'amusent.
Spanish 9:	Pero ¡no! Ellos dudan y no lo toman en serio.
Indonesian 9:	Tetapi mereka bermain-main dalam keragu-raguan.
Melayu 9:	(Mereka tidak meyakini kebenaran yang dijelaskan kepada mereka), bahkan mereka masih tenggelam dalam keraguan sambil bermain-main dengan perkara agama.
German 9:	Doch sie sind im Zweifel und betreiben ein Spiel.
Russian 9:	Но они забавляются, испытывая сомнения.
Bosnian 9:	Ali ovi sumnjaju i zabavljaju se,
Urdu 9:	بلکہ وہ تو شک میں کھیل رہے ہیں
10	فَارْتَقِبْ يَوْمَ تَأْتِي السَّمَاءُ بِدُخَانٍ مُّبِينٍ
Transliteration 10:	Fairtaqib yawma tatee alssamao bidukhanin mubeenin
Yusuf Ali 10:	Then watch thou for the Day that the sky will bring forth a kind of smoke (or mist) plainly visible,
Shakir 10:	Therefore keep waiting for the day when the heaven shall bring an evident smoke,
Pickthal 10:	But watch thou (O Muhammad) for the day when the sky will produce visible smoke
Mohsin Khan: 10:	Then wait you for the Day when the sky will bring forth a visible smoke,
French 10:	Et bien, attends le jour où le ciel apportera une fumée visible
Spanish 10:	¡Espera, pues, el día que el cielo traiga un humo visible,
Indonesian 10:	Maka tunggulah hari ketika langit membawa kabut yang nyata .
Melayu 10:	Oleh itu tunggulah (wahai Muhammad) semasa langit membawa asap kemarau yang jelas nyata (yang menyebabkan kebuluran yang dahsyat),
German 10:	Darum aber erwarte den Tag, an dem der Himmel einen sichtbaren Rauch hervorbringt,
Russian 10:	Подожди же того дня, когда небо принесет ясный дым,
Bosnian 10:	zato sačekaj dan kad će im se činiti da prema nebu vide vidljiv dim
Urdu 10:	سو اس دن کا انتظار کیجیئے کہ آسمان دھواں ظاہر لائے
11	يَغْشَى النَّاسَ ۖ هَـٰذَا عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
Transliteration 11:	Yaghsha alnnasa hatha AAathabun aleemun
Yusuf Ali 11:	Enveloping the people: this will be a Penalty Grievous.
Shakir 11:	That shall overtake men; this is a painful punishment.
Pickthal 11:	That will envelop the people. This will be a painful torment.
Mohsin Khan: 11:	Covering the people: this is a painful torment.
French 11:	qui couvrira les gens. Ce sera un châtiment douloureux.
Spanish 11:	que cubra a los hombres! Será un castigo doloroso.
Indonesian 11:	yang meliputi manusia. Inilah azab yang pedih.
Melayu 11:	Yang akan menimpa seluruh keadaan manusia (yang kafir itu, sehingga mereka akan berkata: Ini adalah azab yang sungguh menyakitkan.
German 11:	der die Menschen einhüllen wird. Das wird eine schmerzliche Qual sein.
Russian 11:	который окутает людей. Это будут мучительные страдания!
Bosnian 11:	koji će ljude prekriti. "Ovo je neizdržljiva patnja!
Urdu 11:	جو لوگوں کو ڈھانپ لے یہی دردناک عذاب ہے
12	رَّبَّنَا اكْشِفْ عَنَّا الْعَذَابَ إِنَّا مُؤْمِنُونَ
Transliteration 12:	Rabbana ikshif AAanna alAAathaba inna muminoona
Yusuf Ali 12:	(They will say:) "Our Lord! remove the Penalty from us, for we do really believe!"
Shakir 12:	Our Lord! remove from us the punishment; surely we are believers.
Pickthal 12:	(Then they will say): Our Lord relieve us of the torment. Lo! we are believers.
Mohsin Khan: 12:	(They will say): "Our Lord! Remove the torment from us, really we shall become believers!"
French 12:	‹Seigneur, éloigne de nous le châtiment. Car [à présent] nous croyons›.
Spanish 12:	"¡Señor! ¡Aparta de nosotros el castigo! ¡Creemos!"
Indonesian 12:	(Mereka berdo'a): "Ya Tuhan kami, lenyapkanlah dari kami azab itu. Sesungguhnya kami akan beriman."
Melayu 12:	(Pada saat itu mereka akan merayu dengan berkata): Wahai Tuhan kami! Hapuskanlah azab ini dari kami, sesungguhnya kami akan beriman!.
German 12:	"Unser Herr, nimm die Pein von uns; wir wollen glauben."
Russian 12:	Они скажут: «Господь наш! Избавь нас от страданий, ведь мы уверовали».
Bosnian 12:	Gospodaru naš, otkloni patnju od nas, mi ćemo, sigurno, vjerovati!"
Urdu 12:	اے ہمارے رب ہم سے یہ عذاب دور کر دے بے شک ہم ایمان لانے والے ہیں
13	أَنَّىٰ لَهُمُ الذِّكْرَىٰ وَقَدْ جَاءَهُمْ رَسُولٌ مُّبِينٌ
Transliteration 13:	Anna lahumu alththikra waqad jaahum rasoolun mubeenun
Yusuf Ali 13:	How shall the message be (effectual) for them, seeing that an Messenger explaining things clearly has (already) come to them,-
Shakir 13:	How shall they be reminded, and there came to them an Messenger making clear (the truth),
Pickthal 13:	How can there be remembrance for them, when a messenger making plain (the Truth) had already come unto them,
Mohsin Khan: 13:	How can there be for them an admonition (at the time when the torment has reached them), when a Messenger explaining things clearly has already come to them.
French 13:	D'où leur vient cette prise de conscience alors qu'un Messager explicite leur est déjà venu,
Spanish 13:	¿De qué les servirá la amonestación, si ha venido a ellos un Enviado que habla claro
Indonesian 13:	Bagaimanakah mereka dapat menerima peringatan, padahal telah datang kepada mereka seorang rasul yang memberi penjelasan,
Melayu 13:	Bagaimana mereka dapat beringat (menyempurnakan janji mereka hendak beriman itu)? Pada hal mereka telah pun didatangi seorang Rasul yang memberi keterangan-keterangan (yang cukup untuk mereka beriman)!
German 13:	Wie können sie lernen, wo doch ein aufklärender Gesandter zu ihnen gekommen ist?
Russian 13:	Но как они могут помянуть такое назидание, если к ним уже приходил разъясняющий посланник.
Bosnian 13:	A kako će oni pouku primiti, a već im je došao istiniti Poslanik
Urdu 13:	وہ کہاں سمجھتے ہیں حالانکہ ان کے پاس کھول کر سنانے والا رسول بھی آ چکا ہے
14	ثُمَّ تَوَلَّوْا عَنْهُ وَقَالُوا مُعَلَّمٌ مَّجْنُونٌ
Transliteration 14:	Thumma tawallaw AAanhu waqaloo muAAallamun majnoonun
Yusuf Ali 14:	Yet they turn away from him and say: "Tutored (by others), a man possessed!"
Shakir 14:	Yet they turned their backs on him and said: One taught (by others), a madman.
Pickthal 14:	And they had turned away from him and said: One taught (by others), a madman?
Mohsin Khan: 14:	Then they had turned away from him (Messenger Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم) and said: (He is) one taught (by a human being), a madman!"
French 14:	Puis ils s'en détournèrent en disant: ‹C'est un homme instruit [par d'autres], un possédé›.
Spanish 14:	y se han apartado de él y dicho: "¡Es uno a quien se ha instruido, un poseso!"?
Indonesian 14:	kemudian mereka berpaling daripadanya dan berkata: "Dia adalah seorang yang menerima ajaran (dari orang lain) lagi pula seorang yang gila .
Melayu 14:	Sekalipun demikian, mereka juga berpaling ingkar daripada menerima keterangannya sambil berkata (sesama sendiri): Dia seorang yang diajar (oleh bangsa asing), dia juga seorang yang gila!
German 14:	Und sie haben sich von ihm abgewandt und gesagt: "(Er hat es) einstudiert, (er ist) besessen."
Russian 14:	Затем они отвернулись от него и сказали: «Он – обученный, одержимый».
Bosnian 14:	od koga oni glave okreću i govore: "Poučeni - umno poremećeni!"
Urdu 14:	پھر اس سے بھی پھر گئے اور کہا کہ سکھایا ہوا دیوانہ ہے
15	إِنَّا كَاشِفُو الْعَذَابِ قَلِيلًا ۚ إِنَّكُمْ عَائِدُونَ
Transliteration 15:	Inna kashifoo alAAathabi qaleelan innakum AAaidoona
Yusuf Ali 15:	We shall indeed remove the Penalty for a while, (but) truly ye will revert (to your ways).
Shakir 15:	Surely We will remove the punishment a little, (but) you will surely return (to evil).
Pickthal 15:	Lo! We withdraw the torment a little. Lo! ye return (to disbelief).
Mohsin Khan: 15:	Verily, We shall remove the torment for a while. Verily you will revert (to disbelief).
French 15:	Nous dissiperons le châtiment pour peu de temps; car vous récidiverez.
Spanish 15:	"Vamos a apartar de vosotros el castigo por algún tiempo. Pero reincidiréis".
Indonesian 15:	Sesungguhnya (kalau) Kami akan melenyapkan siksaan itu agak sedikit sesungguhnya kamu akan kembali (ingkar).
Melayu 15:	Sesungguhnya (kalaulah) kami hapuskan azab itu barang sedikitpun, sudah tentu kamu akan kembali (kufur ingkar).
German 15:	Wir werden die Strafe geringfügig hinwegnehmen, ihr aber werdet rückfällig werden
Russian 15:	Мы избавим вас от страданий ненадолго, но вы вернетесь к неверию.
Bosnian 15:	Mi ćemo patnju malo-pomalo otklanjati i vi ćete se, sigurno, u mnogobožačku vjeru vratiti;
Urdu 15:	ہم اس عذاب کو تھوڑی دیر کے لیےہٹا دیں گے تم پھر وہی کرنے والے ہو
16	يَوْمَ نَبْطِشُ الْبَطْشَةَ الْكُبْرَىٰ إِنَّا مُنتَقِمُونَ
Transliteration 16:	Yawma nabtishu albatshata alkubra inna muntaqimoona
Yusuf Ali 16:	One day We shall seize you with a mighty onslaught: We will indeed (then) exact Retribution!
Shakir 16:	On the day when We will seize (them) with the most violent seizing; surely We will inflict retribution.
Pickthal 16:	On the day when We shall seize them with the greater seizure, (then) in truth We shall punish.
Mohsin Khan: 16:	On the Day when We shall seize you with the greatest seizure (punishment). Verily, We will exact retribution.
French 16:	Le jour où Nous userons de la plus grande violence et Nous Nous vengerons.
Spanish 16:	El día que hagamos uso del máximo rigor, Nos vengaremos.
Indonesian 16:	(Ingatlah) hari (ketika) Kami menghantam mereka dengan hantaman yang keras . Sesungguhnya Kami adalah Pemberi balasan.
Melayu 16:	(Ingatlah! Kalau kamu ulangi keingkaran kamu, kamu akan dibinasakan) semasa Kami timpakan (kamu dengan) paluan yang besar (dari pihak lawan kamu); sesungguhnya Kami tetap akan menyeksa (dengan azab yang seberat-beratnya).
German 16:	bis zu dem Tage, wo Wir (euch) den größten Schlag versetzen werden. Wahrlich, Wir werden Uns rächen.
Russian 16:	В тот день, когда Мы схватим вас величайшей Хваткой, Мы будем мстить.
Bosnian 16:	ali onog Dana kada ih svom silom zgrabimo, zbilja ćemo ih kazniti.
Urdu 16:	جس دن ہم بڑی سخت پکڑ پکڑیں گے بے شک ہم بدلہ لینے والے ہیں
17	۞ وَلَقَدْ فَتَنَّا قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَجَاءَهُمْ رَسُولٌ كَرِيمٌ
Transliteration 17:	Walaqad fatanna qablahum qawma firAAawna wajaahum rasoolun kareemun
Yusuf Ali 17:	We did, before them, try the people of Pharaoh: there came to them an apostle most honourable,
Shakir 17:	And certainly We tried before them the people of Firon, and there came to them a noble messenger,
Pickthal 17:	And verily We tried before them Pharaoh's folk, when there came unto them a noble messenger,
Mohsin Khan: 17:	And indeed We tried before them Fir'aun's (Pharaoh) people, when there came to them a noble Messenger [i.e. Musa (Moses) عليه السلام],
French 17:	Et avant eux, Nous avons déjà éprouvé le peuple de Pharaon, quand un noble Messager leur était venu,
Spanish 17:	Antes que a ellos, habíamos probado al pueblo de Faraón. Un enviado noble vino a ellos:
Indonesian 17:	Sesungguhnya sebelum mereka telah Kami uji kaum Fir'aun dan telah datang kepada mereka seorang rasul yang mulia,
Melayu 17:	Dan demi Sesungguhnya! Sebelum mereka, Kami telah menguji kaum Firaun dan merekapun telah didatangi oleh seorang Rasul (Nabi Musa) Yang mulia;
German 17:	Und vor ihnen haben Wir schon das Volk Pharaos geprüft, und zu ihnen kam ein ehrenwerter Gesandter
Russian 17:	До вас Мы уже испытали народ Фараона, и к ним явился благородный посланник.
Bosnian 17:	Još davno prije njih Mi smo faraonov narod u iskušenje stavili, kada im je bio došao plemeniti poslanik:
Urdu 17:	اور ان سے پہلے ہم فرعون کی قوم کو آزما چکے ہیں اور ان کے پاس ایک عزت والا رسول بھی آیا تھا
18	أَنْ أَدُّوا إِلَيَّ عِبَادَ اللَّهِ ۖ إِنِّي لَكُمْ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٌ
Transliteration 18:	An addoo ilayya AAibada Allahi innee lakum rasoolun ameenun
Yusuf Ali 18:	Saying: "Restore to me the Servants of Allah. I am to you an apostle worthy of all trust;
Shakir 18:	Saying: Deliver to me the servants of Allah, surely I am a faithful messenger to you,
Pickthal 18:	Saying: Give up to me the slaves of Allah. Lo! I am a faithful messenger unto you.
Mohsin Khan: 18:	Saying: "Deliver to me the slaves of Allah (i.e. the Children of Israel). Verily, I am to you a Messenger worthy of all trust.
French 18:	[leur disant]: ‹Livrez-moi les serviteurs d'Allah! Je suis pour vous un Messager digne de confiance.
Spanish 18:	"¡Entregadme a los siervos de Alá! Tenéis en mí a un enviado digno de confianza.
Indonesian 18:	(dengan berkata): "Serahkanlah kepadaku hamba-hamba Allah (Bani Israil yang kamu perbudak). Sesungguhnya aku adalah utusan (Allah) yang dipercaya kepadamu,
Melayu 18:	(Yang memberitahu kepada mereka dengan katanya): Berikanlah kepadaku wahai hamba-hamba Allah (apa-apa yang menandakan kamu menerima kerasulanku); sesungguhnya aku ini seorang Rasul yang amanah, yang diutuskan kepada kamu.
German 18:	(,der sagte): "Ubergebt mir die Diener Allahs. Ich bin für euch ein vertrauenswürdiger Gesandter.
Russian 18:	Он сказал: «Верните мне рабов Аллаха. Я являюсь посланником к вам, заслуживающим доверия.
Bosnian 18:	"Ispunite prema meni ono što ste dužni, o Allahovi robovi, jer ja sam vam poslanik pouzdani,
Urdu 18:	کہ الله کے بندوں کو میرے حوالہ کر دو بے شک میں تمہارے لیے ایک امانت دار رسول ہوں
19	وَأَن لَّا تَعْلُوا عَلَى اللَّهِ ۖ إِنِّي آتِيكُم بِسُلْطَانٍ مُّبِينٍ
Transliteration 19:	Waan la taAAloo AAala Allahi innee ateekum bisultanin mubeenin
Yusuf Ali 19:	"And be not arrogant as against Allah. for I come to you with authority manifest.
Shakir 19:	And that do not exalt yourselves against Allah, surely I will bring to you a clear authority:
Pickthal 19:	And saying: Be not proud against Allah. Lo! I bring you a clear warrant.
Mohsin Khan: 19:	"And exalt not yourselves against Allah. Truly, I have come to you with a manifest authority.
French 19:	Ne vous montrez pas hautains vis-à-vis d'Allah, car je vous apporte une preuve évidente.
Spanish 19:	¡No os mostréis altivos con Alá! Vengo a vosotros con autoridad manifiesta.
Indonesian 19:	dan janganlah kamu menyombongkan diri terhadap Allah. Sesungguhnya aku datang kepadamu dengan membawa bukti yang nyata.
Melayu 19:	Dan janganlah kamu berlaku sombong takbur terhadap Allah; sesungguhnya aku ada membawa kepada kamu mukjizat yang jelas nyata.
German 19:	Und überhebt euch nicht gegen Allah. Ich komme mit einem offenkundigen Beweis zu euch,
Russian 19:	Не превозноситесь над Аллахом, ведь я принес вам явное доказательство.
Bosnian 19:	i ne uzdižite se iznad Allaha, ja vam donosim dokaz očevidni,
Urdu 19:	اور یہ کہ الله کے خلاف سرکشی نہ کرو میں تمہارے پاس کھلی دلیل لایا ہوں
20	وَإِنِّي عُذْتُ بِرَبِّي وَرَبِّكُمْ أَن تَرْجُمُونِ
Transliteration 20:	Wainnee AAuthtu birabbee warabbikum an tarjumooni
Yusuf Ali 20:	"For me, I have sought safety with my Lord and your Lord, against your injuring me.
Shakir 20:	And surely I take refuge with my Lord and your Lord that you should stone me to death:
Pickthal 20:	And lo! I have sought refuge in my Lord and your Lord lest ye stone me to death.
Mohsin Khan: 20:	"And truly, I seek refuge with my Lord and your Lord, lest you should stone me (or call me a sorcerer or kill me).
French 20:	Et je cherche protection auprès de mon Seigneur et votre Seigneur, pour que vous ne me lapidiez pas.
Spanish 20:	Me refugio en mi Señor y Señor vuestro contra vuestro intento de lapidarme.
Indonesian 20:	Dan sesungguhnya aku berlindung kepada Tuhanku dan Tuhanmu, dari keinginanmu merajamku,
Melayu 20:	Dan sesungguhnya aku telah memohon perlindungan kepada Tuhanku dan Tuhan kamu, daripada kamu merejam (atau menyakiti) daku.
German 20:	und ich nehme meine Zuflucht bei meinem Herrn und eurem Herrn, damit ihr mich nicht steinigt.
Russian 20:	Я прибег к защите моего Господа и вашего Господа, чтобы вы не побили меня камнями.
Bosnian 20:	i ja se utječem i svome i vašem Gospodaru da me ne kamenujete,
Urdu 20:	اور بے شک میں نے اپنے اور تمہارے رب کی پناہ لی ہے اس واسطے کہ تم مجھے سنگسار کرو
21	وَإِن لَّمْ تُؤْمِنُوا لِي فَاعْتَزِلُونِ
Transliteration 21:	Wain lam tuminoo lee faiAAtazilooni
Yusuf Ali 21:	"If ye believe me not, at least keep yourselves away from me."
Shakir 21:	And if you do not believe in me, then leave me alone.
Pickthal 21:	And if ye put no faith in me, then let me go.
Mohsin Khan: 21:	"But if you believe me not, then keep away from me and leave me alone."
French 21:	Si vous ne voulez pas croire en moi, éloignez-vous de moi›.
Spanish 21:	Si no os fiáis de mí, ¡dejadme!"
Indonesian 21:	dan jika kamu tidak beriman kepadaku maka biarkanlah aku (memimpin Bani Israil)".
Melayu 21:	Dan sekiranya kamu tidak juga mahu berimankan kerasulanku, maka putuskanlah perhubungan kamu denganku (janganlah mengganggu daku).
German 21:	Und wenn ihr mir nicht glaubt, so haltet euch von mir fern."
Russian 21:	Если же вы не верите мне, то оставьте меня».
Bosnian 21:	a ako mi ne vjerujete, onda me na miru ostavite!"
Urdu 21:	اور اگرتم میری بات پر ایمان نہیں لاتے تو مجھ سے الگ ہو جاؤ
22	فَدَعَا رَبَّهُ أَنَّ هَـٰؤُلَاءِ قَوْمٌ مُّجْرِمُونَ
Transliteration 22:	FadaAAa rabbahu anna haolai qawmun mujrimoona
Yusuf Ali 22:	(But they were aggressive:) then he cried to his Lord: "These are indeed a people given to sin."
Shakir 22:	Then he called upon his Lord: These are a guilty people.
Pickthal 22:	And he cried unto his Lord, (saying): These are guilty folk.
Mohsin Khan: 22:	(But they were aggressive), so he [Musa (Moses)] called upon his Lord (saying): "These are indeed the people who are Mujrimun (disbelievers, polytheists, sinners, criminals)."
French 22:	Il invoqua alors son Seigneur: ‹Ce sont des gens criminels›.
Spanish 22:	Entonces, invocó a su Señor. "¡Ésta es gente pecadora!"
Indonesian 22:	Kemudian Musa berdo'a kepada Tuhannya: "Sesungguhnya mereka ini adalah kaum yang berdosa (segerakanlah azab kepada mereka)".
Melayu 22:	(Setelah Nabi Musa berputus asa daripada iman mereka), maka dia pun merayu kepada Tuhannya lalu berkata: Sesungguhnya orang-orang ini adalah kaum yang berdosa, (yang telah sebati dengan kekufurannya dan berhaklah mereka menerima balasan yang seburuk-buruknya).
German 22:	Dann rief er zu seinem Herrn: "Dies ist ein sündhaftes Volk."
Russian 22:	Затем он воззвал к своему Господу: «Они являются грешными людьми».
Bosnian 22:	I on pozva u pomoć Gospodara svoga: "Ovo je, doista, narod nevjernički!" -
Urdu 22:	پس اس نے اپنے رب کو پکارا کہ یہ تو مجرم لوگ ہیں
23	فَأَسْرِ بِعِبَادِي لَيْلًا إِنَّكُم مُّتَّبَعُونَ
Transliteration 23:	Faasri biAAibadee laylan innakum muttabaAAoona
Yusuf Ali 23:	(The reply came:) "March forth with My Servants by night: for ye are sure to be pursued.
Shakir 23:	So go forth with My servants by night; surely you will be pursued:
Pickthal 23:	Then (his Lord commanded): Take away My slaves by night. Lo! ye will be followed,
Mohsin Khan: 23:	(Allah said): "Depart you with My slaves by night. Surely, you will be pursued.
French 23:	‹Voyage de nuit avec Mes serviteurs; vous serez poursuivis.
Spanish 23:	"¡Sal de noche con Mis siervos! Os perseguirán.
Indonesian 23:	(Allah berfirman): "Maka berjalanlah kamu dengan membawa hamba-hamba-Ku pada malam hari, sesungguhnya kamu akan dikejar,
Melayu 23:	Lalu (diperintahkan kepadanya): Bawalah hamba-hambaku (pengikut-pengikutmu) keluar pada waktu malam, kerana sesungguhnya kamu akan dikejar (oleh Firaun dan orang-orangnya).
German 23:	(Allah sprach:) "Führe Meine Diener in der Nacht fort; ihr werdet verfolgt werden.
Russian 23:	Аллах сказал: «Выступи с Моими рабами ночью. Воистину, вас будут преследовать.
Bosnian 23:	"Izvedi noću robove Moje, za vama će potjera poći
Urdu 23:	حکم ہوا پس میرے بندوں کو رات کے وقت لے چل کیوں کہ تمہارا پیچھا کیا جائے گا
24	وَاتْرُكِ الْبَحْرَ رَهْوًا ۖ إِنَّهُمْ جُندٌ مُّغْرَقُونَ
Transliteration 24:	Waotruki albahra rahwan innahum jundun mughraqoona
Yusuf Ali 24:	"And leave the sea as a furrow (divided): for they are a host (destined) to be drowned."
Shakir 24:	And leave the sea intervening; surely they are a host that shall be drowned.
Pickthal 24:	And leave the sea behind at rest, for lo! they are a drowned host.
Mohsin Khan: 24:	"And leave the sea as it is (quiet and divided). Verily, they are a host to be drowned."
French 24:	Laisse la mer calme; [telle que tu l'as franchie] ce sont, des armées [voués] à la noyade›.
Spanish 24:	¡Deja el mar en calma! Son un ejército que será anegado"
Indonesian 24:	dan biarkanlah laut itu tetap terbelah. Sesungguhnya mereka adalah tentara yang akan ditenggelamkan.
Melayu 24:	Dan tinggalkanlah laut itu dalam keadaan tenang terbelah, kerana sesungguhnya mereka (yang mengejarmu itu) ialah tentera yang akan ditenggelamkan (sehingga binasa).
German 24:	Und verlaß das Meer, (wenn es) reglos ist. Sie sind ein Heer, das ertränkt wird."
Russian 24:	Оставь море в покое – их воинство будет потоплено».
Bosnian 24:	i ostavi more nek miruje, oni su vojska koja će, zaista, potopljena biti."
Urdu 24:	اور سمندر کو ٹھہرا ہوا چھوڑ دے بے شک وہ لشکر ڈوبنے والے ہیں
25	كَمْ تَرَكُوا مِن جَنَّاتٍ وَعُيُونٍ
Transliteration 25:	Kam tarakoo min jannatin waAAuyoonin
Yusuf Ali 25:	How many were the gardens and springs they left behind,
Shakir 25:	How many of the gardens and fountains have they left!
Pickthal 25:	How many were the gardens and the watersprings that they left behind,
Mohsin Khan: 25:	How many of gardens and springs that they [Fir'aun's (Pharaoh) people] left behind,
French 25:	Que de jardins et de sources ils laissèrent [derrière eux]
Spanish 25:	¡Cuántos jardines y fuentes abandonaron,
Indonesian 25:	Alangkah banyaknya taman dan mata air yang mereka tinggalkan,
Melayu 25:	Banyak sungguh kebun-kebun dan mata air, mereka tinggalkan,
German 25:	Wie zahlreich waren die Gärten und die Quellen, die sie zurückließen!
Russian 25:	Сколько они оставили садов, источников,
Bosnian 25:	I koliko ostaviše bašča i izvora,
Urdu 25:	کتنے انہوں نے باغات اور چشمے چھوڑے ہیں
26	وَزُرُوعٍ وَمَقَامٍ كَرِيمٍ
Transliteration 26:	WazurooAAin wamaqamin kareemin
Yusuf Ali 26:	And corn-fields and noble buildings,
Shakir 26:	And cornfields and noble places!
Pickthal 26:	And the cornlands and the goodly sites
Mohsin Khan: 26:	And green crops (fields) and goodly places,
French 26:	que de champs et de superbes résidences,
Spanish 26:	cuántos campos cultivados, cuántas suntuosas residencias,
Indonesian 26:	dan kebun-kebun serta tempat-tempat yang indah-indah,
Melayu 26:	Dan juga berbagai jenis tanaman serta tempat-tempat kediaman yang indah mulia,
German 26:	Und die Kornfelder und die ehrenvollen Stätten!
Russian 26:	посевов, благородных мест
Bosnian 26:	i njiva zasijanih i dvorova divnih,
Urdu 26:	اور کھیتیاں اور مقام عمدہ
27	وَنَعْمَةٍ كَانُوا فِيهَا فَاكِهِينَ
Transliteration 27:	WanaAAmatin kanoo feeha fakiheena
Yusuf Ali 27:	And wealth (and conveniences of life), wherein they had taken such delight!
Shakir 27:	And goodly things wherein they rejoiced;
Pickthal 27:	And pleasant things wherein they took delight!
Mohsin Khan: 27:	And comforts of life wherein they used to take delight!
French 27:	que de délices au sein desquels ils réjouissaient.
Spanish 27:	cuánto bienestar, en el que vivían felices!
Indonesian 27:	dan kesenangan-kesenangan yang mereka meni'matinya,
Melayu 27:	Dan juga kemewahan hidup, yang mereka sekian lama menikmatinya.
German 27:	Und (wie war) das Wohlleben, dessen sie sich erfreut hatten!
Russian 27:	и блаженства, в котором они наслаждались!
Bosnian 27:	i zadovoljstava koja su u radosti provodili! -
Urdu 27:	اورنعمت کے سازو سامان جس میں وہ مزے کیا کرتے تھے
28	كَذَ‌ٰلِكَ ۖ وَأَوْرَثْنَاهَا قَوْمًا آخَرِينَ
Transliteration 28:	Kathalika waawrathnaha qawman akhareena
Yusuf Ali 28:	Thus (was their end)! And We made other people inherit (those things)!
Shakir 28:	Thus (it was), and We gave them as a heritage to another people.
Pickthal 28:	Even so (it was), and We made it an inheritance for other folk;
Mohsin Khan: 28:	Thus (it was)! And We made other people inherit them (i.e. We made the Children of Israel to inherit the kingdom of Egypt).
French 28:	Il en fut ainsi et Nous fîmes qu'un autre peuple en hérita.
Spanish 28:	Así fue y se lo dimos en herencia a otro pueblo.
Indonesian 28:	demikianlah. Dan Kami wariskan semua itu kepada kaum yang lain.
Melayu 28:	Demikianlah keadaannya (hukum Kami ke atas orang-orang yang derhaka) dan Kami jadikan semua peninggalan Firaun dan orang-orangnya: Milik kaum yang lain (kaum Bani Israil).
German 28:	So geschah es, daß Wir all dies einem anderen Volk zum Erbe gaben.
Russian 28:	Вот так! Мы позволили унаследовать это другому народу.
Bosnian 28:	Tako to bî, i Mi smo to u nasljedstvo drugima ostavili -
Urdu 28:	اسی طرح ہوا اورہم نے ان کا ایک دوسری قوم کو وارث کر دیا
29	فَمَا بَكَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّمَاءُ وَالْأَرْضُ وَمَا كَانُوا مُنظَرِينَ
Transliteration 29:	Fama bakat AAalayhimu alssamao waalardu wama kanoo munthareena
Yusuf Ali 29:	And neither heaven nor earth shed a tear over them: nor were they given a respite (again).
Shakir 29:	So the heaven and the earth did not weep for them, nor were they respited.
Pickthal 29:	And the heaven and the earth wept not for them, nor were they reprieved.
Mohsin Khan: 29:	And the heavens and the earth wept not for them, nor were they given a respite.
French 29:	Ni le ciel ni la terre ne les pleurèrent et ils n'eurent aucun délai.
Spanish 29:	Ni el cielo ni la tierra les lloraron. No se les concedió prórroga.
Indonesian 29:	Maka langit dan bumi tidak menangisi mereka dan merekapun tidak diberi tangguh.
Melayu 29:	Mereka (ketika dibinasakan) itu tidak ditangisi oleh langit dan bumi (atau penduduk keduanya) dan mereka pula tidak diberi tempoh lagi.
German 29:	Weder Himmel noch Erde weinten über sie, noch wurde ihnen eine Frist gewährt.
Russian 29:	Ни небо, ни земля не оплакивали их, и им не была предоставлена отсрочка.
Bosnian 29:	ni nebo ih ni Zemlja nisu oplakivali, i nisu pošteđeni bili,
Urdu 29:	پس ان پر نہ آسمان روویا اور نہ زمین اور نہ ان کو مہلت دی گئی
30	وَلَقَدْ نَجَّيْنَا بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ مِنَ الْعَذَابِ الْمُهِينِ
Transliteration 30:	Walaqad najjayna banee israeela mina alAAathabi almuheeni
Yusuf Ali 30:	We did deliver aforetime the Children of Israel from humiliating Punishment,
Shakir 30:	And certainly We delivered the children of Israel from the abasing chastisement,
Pickthal 30:	And We delivered the Children of Israel from the shameful doom;
Mohsin Khan: 30:	And indeed We saved the Children of Israel from the humiliating torment:
French 30:	Et certes, Nous sauvâmes les Enfants d'Israël du châtiment avilissant
Spanish 30:	Y salvamos a los Hijos de Israel del humillante castigo,
Indonesian 30:	Dan sesungguhnya telah Kami selamatkan Bani Israil dari siksaan yang menghinakan,
Melayu 30:	Dan demi sesungguhnya! Kami telah selamatkan kaum Bani Israil, dari azab yang menghina;
German 30:	Und wahrlich, Wir erretteten die Kinder Israels vor der schimpflichen Pein,
Russian 30:	Мы уже спасли сынов Исраила (Израиля) от унизительных страданий –
Bosnian 30:	a sinove Israilove smo ponižavajuće patnje spasili
Urdu 30:	اورہم نے بنی اسرائیل کو اس ذلت کےعذاب سے نجات دی
31	مِن فِرْعَوْنَ ۚ إِنَّهُ كَانَ عَالِيًا مِّنَ الْمُسْرِفِينَ
Transliteration 31:	Min firAAawna innahu kana AAaliyan mina almusrifeena
Yusuf Ali 31:	Inflicted by Pharaoh, for he was arrogant (even) among inordinate transgressors.
Shakir 31:	From Firon; surely he was haughty, (and) one of the extravagant.
Pickthal 31:	(We delivered them) from Pharaoh. Lo! he was a tyrant of the wanton ones.
Mohsin Khan: 31:	From Fir'aun (Pharaoh); verily he was arrogant and was of the Musrifun (those who transgress beyond bound in spending and other things and commit great sins).
French 31:	de Pharaon qui était hautain et outrancier.
Spanish 31:	de Faraón. Era altivo, de los inmoderados.
Indonesian 31:	dari (azab) Fir'aun. Sesungguhnya dia adalah orang yang sombong, salah seorang dari orang-orang yang melampaui batas.
Melayu 31:	Dari penindasan Firaun, sesungguhnya dia adalah seorang yang sombong takbur lagi terbilang dari orang-orang yang melampaui batas (dalam keganasan dan kekejamannya).
German 31:	vor Pharao; denn er war hochmütig, einer der Maßlosen.
Russian 31:	от Фараона. Воистину, он был надменен и был одним из преступающих границы дозволенного.
Bosnian 31:	od faraona - on je bio gord, jedan od onih koji su u zlu svaku mjeru prevršili -
Urdu 31:	(یعنی) فرعون سے بے شک وہ ایک سرکش حد سے بڑھنے والا تھا
32	وَلَقَدِ اخْتَرْنَاهُمْ عَلَىٰ عِلْمٍ عَلَى الْعَالَمِينَ
Transliteration 32:	Walaqadi ikhtarnahum AAala AAilmin AAala alAAalameena
Yusuf Ali 32:	And We chose them aforetime above the nations, knowingly,
Shakir 32:	And certainly We chose them, having knowledge, above the nations.
Pickthal 32:	And We chose them, purposely, above (all) creatures.
Mohsin Khan: 32:	And We chose them (the Children of Israel) above the 'Alamin (mankind and jinn) [during the time of Musa (Moses)] with knowledge,
French 32:	A bon escient Nous les choisîmes parmi tous les peuples de l'univers,
Spanish 32:	Les elegimos conscientemente de entre todos los pueblos.
Indonesian 32:	Dan sesungguhnya telah Kami pilih mereka dengan pengetahuan (Kami) atas bangsa-bangsa .
Melayu 32:	Dan demi sesungguhnya! Kami telah memilih mereka dengan berdasarkan pengetahuan (Kami) menjadi lebih pangkatnya dari penduduk dunia (pada zaman itu),
German 32:	Und wahrlich, Wir erwählten sie auf Grund (Unseres) Wissens vor den Völkern.
Russian 32:	Мы избрали их и возвысили их над мирами на основании знания.
Bosnian 32:	i znajući kakvi su, između savremenika smo ih odabrali,
Urdu 32:	اور ہم نے اپنے علم سے ان کو جہان والوں پر چن لیا تھا
33	وَآتَيْنَاهُم مِّنَ الْآيَاتِ مَا فِيهِ بَلَاءٌ مُّبِينٌ
Transliteration 33:	Waataynahum mina alayati ma feehi balaon mubeenun
Yusuf Ali 33:	And granted them Signs in which there was a manifest trial
Shakir 33:	And We gave them of the communications wherein was clear blessing.
Pickthal 33:	And We gave them portents wherein was a clear trial.
Mohsin Khan: 33:	And granted them signs in which there was a plain trial.
French 33:	et leur apportâmes des miracles de quoi les mettre manifestement à l'épreuve.
Spanish 33:	Les dimos signos con los que les pusimos claramente a prueba.
Indonesian 33:	Dan Kami telah memberikan kepada mereka di antara tanda-tanda kekuasaan (Kami) sesuatu yang di dalamnya terdapat ni'mat yang nyata .
Melayu 33:	Dan Kami berikan kepada mereka (melalui Nabi Musa) berbagai mukjizat yang mengandungi ujian yang jelas nyata (untuk melahirkan sikap mereka).
German 33:	Und Wir gaben ihnen von den Zeichen, in welchen eine offenkundige Prüfung lag.

Yusuf Ali 34:	As to these (Quraish), they say forsooth:

Mohsin Khan: 34:	Verily, these (Quraish) people are saying:

German 34:	Wahrlich, diese behaupten

Yusuf Ali 35:	"There is nothing beyond our first death, and we shall not be raised again.

Mohsin Khan: 35:	"There is nothing but our first death, and we shall not be resurrected.

36	فَأْتُوا بِآبَائِنَا إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ
Transliteration 36:	Fatoo biabaina in kuntum sadiqeena
Yusuf Ali 36:	"Then bring (back) our forefathers, if what ye say is true!"
Shakir 36:	So bring our fathers (back), if you are truthful.
Pickthal 36:	Bring back our fathers, if ye speak the truth!
Mohsin Khan: 36:	"Then bring back our forefathers, if you speak the truth!"
French 36:	Faites donc revenir nos ancêtres, si vous êtes véridiques›.
Spanish 36:	¡Haced, pues, volver a nuestros padres, si es verdad lo que decís!"
Indonesian 36:	maka datangkanlah (kembali) bapak-bapak kami jika kamu memang orang-orang yang benar".

37	أَهُمْ خَيْرٌ أَمْ قَوْمُ تُبَّعٍ وَالَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ ۚ أَهْلَكْنَاهُمْ ۖ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا مُجْرِمِينَ
Transliteration 37:	Ahum khayrun am qawmu tubbaAAin waallatheena min qablihim ahlaknahum innahum kanoo mujrimeena
Yusuf Ali 37:	What! Are they better than the people of Tubba and those who were before them? We destroyed them because they were guilty of sin.
Shakir 37:	Are they better or the people of Tubba and those before them? We destroyed them, for surely they were guilty.
Pickthal 37:	Are they better, or the folk of Tubb'a and those before them? We destroyed them, for surely they were guilty.
Mohsin Khan: 37:	Are they better or the people of Tubba' and those before them? We destroyed them because they were indeed Mujrimun (disbelievers, polytheists, sinners, criminals).
French 37:	Sont-ils les meilleurs ou le peuple de Tubbaa et ceux qui les ont précédés? Nous les avons périr parce que vraiment ils étaient criminels.
Spanish 37:	¿Eran mejores ellos que el pueblo de Tubba y que sus antecesores? Les hicimos perecer, eran pecadores.
Indonesian 37:	Apakah mereka (kaum musyrikin) yang lebih baik ataukah kaum Tubba' dan orang orang yang sebelum mereka. Kami telah membinasakan mereka karena sesungguhnya mereka adalah orang-orang yang berdosa .
Melayu 37:	(Mengapa mereka masih berdegil dalam kekufurannya?) Adakah mereka yang lebih kekuatan dan kehandalannya atau "kaum Tubba'" dan orang-orang yang terdahulu dari mereka? Orang-orang itu semuanya Kami telah binasakan, kerana sesungguhnya mereka adalah orang-orang yang berdosa.
German 37:	Sind sie besser oder das Volk des Tubba' und jene, die vor ihnen waren? Wir vertilgten sie; denn sie waren Verbrecher.
Russian 37:	Они лучше или же народ Тубба (Тобба) и их предшественники? Мы погубили их. Воистину, они были грешниками.
Bosnian 37:	Da li su silniji oni ili narod Tubba’ i oni prije njega? - njih smo uništili jer su nevjernici bili.
Urdu 37:	کیا وہ بہتر ہیں یا تبع کی قوم اوروہ لوگ جو ان سے پہلے ہوئے ہم نے انہیں ہلاک کر دیا کیوں کہ وہ مجرم تھے
38	وَمَا خَلَقْنَا السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا لَاعِبِينَ
Transliteration 38:	Wama khalaqna alssamawati waalarda wama baynahuma laAAibeena
Yusuf Ali 38:	We created not the heavens, the earth, and all between them, merely in (idle) sport:
Shakir 38:	And We did not create the heavens and the earth and what is between them in sport.
Pickthal 38:	And We created not the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, in play.
Mohsin Khan: 38:	And We created not the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, for mere play.
French 38:	Ce n'est pas par divertissement que Nous avons créé les cieux et la terre et ce qui est entre eux.

Urdu 38:	اور ہم نے آسمانوں اور زمین کو اورجو کچھ اس کے درمیان میں ہے کھیل کے لیے نہیں بنایا
39	مَا خَلَقْنَاهُمَا إِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
Transliteration 39:	Ma khalaqnahuma illa bialhaqqi walakinna aktharahum la yaAAlamoona
Yusuf Ali 39:	We created them not except for just ends: but most of them do not understand.
Shakir 39:	We did not create them both but with the truth, but most of them do not know.
Pickthal 39:	We created them not save with truth; but most of them know not.
Mohsin Khan: 39:	We created them not except with truth (i.e. to examine and test those who are obedient and those who are disobedient and then reward the obedient ones and punish the disobedient ones), but most of them know not.
French 39:	Nous ne les avons créés qu'en toute vérité. Mais la plupart d'entre eux ne savent pas.
Spanish 39:	No los creamos sino con un fin, pero la mayoría no saben.

Urdu 39:	ہم نے انہیں بہت ہی مصلحت سے بنایا ہے لیکن اکثر ان میں سے نہیں جانتے
40	إِنَّ يَوْمَ الْفَصْلِ مِيقَاتُهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
Transliteration 40:	Inna yawma alfasli meeqatuhum ajmaAAeena
Yusuf Ali 40:	Verily the Day of sorting out is the time appointed for all of them,-
Shakir 40:	Surely the day of separation is their appointed term, of all of them
Pickthal 40:	Assuredly the Day of Decision is the term for all of them,
Mohsin Khan: 40:	Verily, the Day of Judgement (when Allah will judge between the creatures) is the time appointed for all of them -
French 40:	En vérité, le Jour de la Décision sera leur rendez- vous à tous,
Spanish 40:	El día del Fallo se darán todos cita.
Indonesian 40:	Sesungguhnya hari keputusan (hari kiamat) itu adalah waktu yang dijanjikan bagi mereka semuanya,

Bosnian 40:	Dan sudnji će svima njima rok određeni biti,
Urdu 40:	بے شک فیصلہ کا دن ان سب کے لیے مقرر ہو چکا ہے
41	يَوْمَ لَا يُغْنِي مَوْلًى عَن مَّوْلًى شَيْئًا وَلَا هُمْ يُنصَرُونَ
Transliteration 41:	Yawma la yughnee mawlan AAan mawlan shayan wala hum yunsaroona
Yusuf Ali 41:	The Day when no protector can avail his client in aught, and no help can they receive,
Shakir 41:	The day on which a friend shall not avail (his) friend aught, nor shall they be helped,
Pickthal 41:	A day when friend can in naught avail friend, nor can they be helped,
Mohsin Khan: 41:	The Day when a Maula (a near relative) cannot avail a Maula (a near relative) in aught, and no help can they receive,
French 41:	Le jour où un allié ne sera d'aucune utilité à un [autre] allié; et ils ne seront point secourus non plus,
Spanish 41:	Día en que nadie podrá proteger nada a nadie, nadie será auxiliado,

Russian 41:	Это будет день, когда близкий ничем не поможет своему близкому и когда помощь не будет оказана никому,
Bosnian 41:	Dan kada bližnji neće nimalo od koristi bližnjem biti i kada sami sebi neće moći pomoći,
Urdu 41:	جس دن کوئی دوست کسی دوست کے کچھ بھی کام نہیں آئے گا اورنہ انہیں مدد ملے گی
42	إِلَّا مَن رَّحِمَ اللَّهُ ۚ إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الرَّحِيمُ
Transliteration 42:	Illa man rahima Allahu innahu huwa alAAazeezu alrraheemu
Yusuf Ali 42:	Except such as receive Allah.s Mercy: for He is Exalted in Might, Most Merciful.
Shakir 42:	Save those on whom Allah shall have mercy; surely He is the Mighty the Merciful.
Pickthal 42:	Save him on whom Allah hath mercy. Lo! He is the Mighty, the Merciful.
Mohsin Khan: 42:	Except him on whom Allah has Mercy. Verily, He is the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful.
French 42:	sauf celui qui Allah fera miséricorde. Car c'est Lui, le Puissant, le Très Miséricordieux.
Spanish 42:	salvo aquél de quien Alá se apiade. Él es el Poderoso, el Misericordioso.
Indonesian 42:	kecuali orang yang diberi rahmat oleh Allah. Sesungguhnya Dialah Yang Maha Perkasa lagi Maha Penyayang.
Melayu 42:	Kecuali orang yang telah diberi rahmat oleh Allah; sesungguhnya Allah jualah yang Maha Kuasa, lagi Maha Mengasihani.
German 42:	Die (sind davon) ausgenommen, derer Allah Sich erbarmt; denn Er ist der Erhabene, der Barmherzige.

45	كَالْمُهْلِ يَغْلِي فِي الْبُطُونِ
Transliteration 45:	Kaalmuhli yaghlee fee albutooni
Yusuf Ali 45:	Like molten brass; it will boil in their insides.
Shakir 45:	Like dregs of oil; it shall boil in (their) bellies,
Pickthal 45:	Like molten brass, it seetheth in their bellies
Mohsin Khan: 45:	Like boiling oil, it will boil in the bellies,
French 45:	Comme du métal en fusion; il bouillonnera dans les ventres
Spanish 45:	Es como metal fundido, hierve en las entrañas
Indonesian 45:	(Ia) sebagai kotoran minyak yang mendidih di dalam perut,
Melayu 45:	(Makanan ini pula panas) seperti tembaga cair, mendidih dalam perut;
German 45:	Wie geschmolzenes Kupfer wird er in (ihren) Bäuchen brodeln,
Russian 45:	Подобно осадку масла (или расплавленной меди), оно будет кипеть в животах так,

46	كَغَلْيِ الْحَمِيمِ
Transliteration 46:	Kaghalyi alhameemi
Yusuf Ali 46:	Like the boiling of scalding water.
Shakir 46:	Like the boiling of hot water.
Pickthal 46:	As the seething of boiling water.
Mohsin Khan: 46:	Like the boiling of scalding water.
French 46:	comme le bouillonnement de l'eau surchauffée.
Spanish 46:	como agua hirviente.
Indonesian 46:	seperti mendidihnya air yang sangat panas.
Melayu 46:	Seperti mendidihnya air yang meluap-luap panasnya.
German 46:	wie das Brodeln kochenden Wassers.
Russian 46:	как кипит кипяток.
Bosnian 46:	kao što voda kada ključa vri.
Urdu 46:	جیسے پکتا ہوا پانی کھولتا ہے
47	خُذُوهُ فَاعْتِلُوهُ إِلَىٰ سَوَاءِ الْجَحِيمِ
Transliteration 47:	Khuthoohu faiAAtiloohu ila sawai aljaheemi
Yusuf Ali 47:	(A voice will cry: "Seize ye him and drag him into the midst of the Blazing Fire!
Shakir 47:	Seize him, then drag him down into the middle of the hell;
Pickthal 47:	(And it will be said): Take him and drag him to the midst of hell,
Mohsin Khan: 47:	(It will be said) "Seize him and drag him into the midst of blazing Fire,
French 47:	Qu'on le saisisse et qu'on l'emporte en plein dans la fournaise;
Spanish 47:	"¡Cogedle y llevadle en medio del fuego de la gehena!
Indonesian 47:	Peganglah dia kemudian seretlah dia ke tengah-tengah neraka.
Melayu 47:	(Lalu diperintahkan kepada malaikat penjaga Neraka): Renggutlah orang yang berdosa itu dan seretlah dia ke tengah-tengah Neraka.
German 47:	"Ergreift ihn und zerrt ihn in die Mitte der Dschahim.
Russian 47:	Схватите его и волоките (или несите) до самой середины Ада.
Bosnian 47:	"Ščepajte ga i usred ognja odvucite,
Urdu 47:	اسے پکڑ لو پس اسے دوزخ کے درمیان دھکیل کر لے جاؤ
48	ثُمَّ صُبُّوا فَوْقَ رَأْسِهِ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْحَمِيمِ
Transliteration 48:	Thumma subboo fawqa rasihi min AAathabi alhameemi
Yusuf Ali 48:	"Then pour over his head the Penalty of Boiling Water,
Shakir 48:	Then pour above his head of the torment of the boiling water:
Pickthal 48:	Then pour upon his head the torment of boiling water.
Mohsin Khan: 48:	"Then pour over his head the torment of boiling water.
French 48:	qu'on verse ensuite sur sa tête de l'eau bouillante comme châtiment.
Spanish 48:	¡Castigadle, luego, derramando en su cabeza agua muy caliente!"
Indonesian 48:	Kemudian tuangkanlah di atas kepalanya siksaan (dari) air yang amat panas.
Melayu 48:	Kemudian curahkanlah di atas kepalanya (azab seksa) dari air panas yang menggelegak.
German 48:	Dann gießt auf sein Haupt die Pein des siedenden Wassers.
Russian 48:	Затем налейте ему на голову кипяток, причиняющий страдания.
Bosnian 48:	a zatim mu, za kaznu, na glavu ključavu vodu izljevajte!"
Urdu 48:	پھر اس کے سر پر عذاب کا کھولتا ہوا پانی ڈالو
49	ذُقْ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْعَزِيزُ الْكَرِيمُ
Transliteration 49:	Thuq innaka anta alAAazeezu alkareemu
Yusuf Ali 49:	"Taste thou (this)! Truly wast thou mighty, full of honour!
Shakir 49:	Taste; you forsooth are the mighty, the honorable:
Pickthal 49:	(Saying): Taste! Lo! thou wast forsooth the mighty, the noble!
Mohsin Khan: 49:	"Taste you (this)! Verily, you were (pretending to be) the mighty, the generous!
French 49:	Goûte! Toi [qui prétendait être] le puissant, le noble.
Spanish 49:	"¡Gusta! ¡Tú eres 'el poderoso', 'el generoso'!"
Indonesian 49:	Rasakanlah, sesungguhnya kamu orang yang perkasa lagi mulia .
Melayu 49:	(Serta dikatakan kepadanya secara mengejek): Rasalah azab seksa, sebenarnya engkau adalah orang yang berpengaruh dan terhormat (dalam kalangan masyarakatmu)
German 49:	Koste! Du (meintest) doch, der Erhabene, der Würdige zu sein.
Russian 49:	Вкушай, ведь ты – могущественный, благородный!
Bosnian 49:	"Okušaj, ta ti si, uistinu, ’moćni’ i ’poštovani’,
Urdu 49:	چکھ بے شک تو تو بڑا عزت والا بزرگی والا ہے
50	إِنَّ هَـٰذَا مَا كُنتُم بِهِ تَمْتَرُونَ
Transliteration 50:	Inna hatha ma kuntum bihi tamtaroona
Yusuf Ali 50:	"Truly this is what ye used to doubt!"
Shakir 50:	Surely this is what you disputed about.
Pickthal 50:	Lo! this is that whereof ye used to doubt.
Mohsin Khan: 50:	"Verily, this is that whereof you used to doubt!"
French 50:	Voilà ce dont vous doutiez.
Spanish 50:	¡Esto es aquello de que dudabais!
Indonesian 50:	Sesungguhnya ini adalah azab yang dahulu selalu kamu meragu-ragukannya.
Melayu 50:	(Kemudian dikatakan kepada ahli Neraka umumnya): Sesungguhnya inilah dia (azab seksa) yang kamu dahulu ragu-ragu terhadapnya!
German 50:	Siehe, dies ist nun das, woran ihr zu zweifeln pflegtet."
Russian 50:	Вот то, в чем вы сомневались!
Bosnian 50:	ovo je, zaista, ono u što ste sumnjali!"
Urdu 50:	بے شک یہی ہے جس کی نسبت تم شک کیا کرتے تھے
51	إِنَّ الْمُتَّقِينَ فِي مَقَامٍ أَمِينٍ
Transliteration 51:	Inna almuttaqeena fee maqamin ameenin
Yusuf Ali 51:	As to the Righteous (they will be) in a position of Security,
Shakir 51:	Surely those who guard (against evil) are in a secure place,
Pickthal 51:	Lo! those who kept their duty will be in a place secured.
Mohsin Khan: 51:	Verily, the Muttaqun (the pious. See V.2:2), will be in place of Security (Paradise).
French 51:	Les pieux seront dans une demeure sûre,
Spanish 51:	Los que teman a Alá estarán, en cambio, en lugar seguro,
Indonesian 51:	Sesungguhnya orang-orang yang bertakwa berada dalam tempat yang aman,
Melayu 51:	Sesungguhnya orang-orang yang bertakwa (akan ditempatkan) di tempat tinggal yang aman sentosa.
German 51:	Wahrlich, die Gottesfürchtigen sind an einer Stätte der Sicherheit

53	يَلْبَسُونَ مِن سُندُسٍ وَإِسْتَبْرَقٍ مُّتَقَابِلِينَ
Transliteration 53:	Yalbasoona min sundusin waistabraqin mutaqabileena
Yusuf Ali 53:	Dressed in fine silk and in rich brocade, they will face each other;
Shakir 53:	They shall wear of fine and thick silk, (sitting) face to face;
Pickthal 53:	Attired in silk and silk embroidery, facing one another.
Mohsin Khan: 53:	Dressed in fine silk and (also) in thick silk, facing each other,
French 53:	Ils porteront des vêtements de satin et de brocart et seront placés face à face.
Spanish 53:	vestidos de satén y de brocado, unos enfrente de otros.
Indonesian 53:	mereka memakai sutera yang halus dan sutera yang tebal, (duduk) berhadap-hadapan,
Melayu 53:	Mereka memakai pakaian dari kain sutera yang halus dan kain sutera tebal yang bersulam; (mereka duduk di tempat perhimpunan) sentiasa berhadap-hadapan (di atas pelamin masing-masing).
German 53:	gekleidet in Seide und Brokat sitzen (sie) einander gegenüber.
Russian 53:	Они будут облачены в атлас и парчу и будут восседать друг против друга.
Bosnian 53:	u dibu i kadifu obučeni i jedni prema drugima.
Urdu 53:	باریک ریشم اورگاڑھا پہن کر آمنے سامنے بیٹھے ہوں گے
54	كَذَ‌ٰلِكَ وَزَوَّجْنَاهُم بِحُورٍ عِينٍ
Transliteration 54:	Kathalika wazawwajnahum bihoorin AAeenin
Yusuf Ali 54:	So; and We shall join them to Companions with beautiful, big, and lustrous eyes.
Shakir 54:	Thus (shall it be), and We will wed them with Houris pure, beautiful ones.
Pickthal 54:	Even so (it will be). And We shall wed them unto fair ones with wide, lovely eyes.
Mohsin Khan: 54:	So (it will be). And We shall marry them to Hur (fair female) with wide, lovely eyes.
French 54:	C'est ainsi! Et Nous leur donnerons pour épouses des houris aux grands yeux.
Spanish 54:	Así será. Y les daremos por esposas a huríes de grandes ojos.
Indonesian 54:	demikianlah. Dan Kami berikan kepada mereka bidadari.
Melayu 54:	Demikianlah keadaannya dan Kami jadikan kawan teman mereka bidadari-bidadari yang putih melepak, lagi luas cantik matanya.
German 54:	So (wird es sein). Und Wir werden sie mit Huris vermählen.
Russian 54:	Вот так! Мы сочетаем их с черноокими, большеглазыми девами.
Bosnian 54:	Eto, tako će biti i Mi ćemo ih hurijama, krupnih očiju, ženiti.
Urdu 54:	یونہی ہوگا اور ہم ان کا نکاح بڑی آنکھوں والی حوروں سے کر دیں گے
55	يَدْعُونَ فِيهَا بِكُلِّ فَاكِهَةٍ آمِنِينَ
Transliteration 55:	YadAAoona feeha bikulli fakihatin amineena
Yusuf Ali 55:	There can they call for every kind of fruit in peace and security;
Shakir 55:	They shall call therein for every fruit in security;
Pickthal 55:	They call therein for every fruit in safety.
Mohsin Khan: 55:	They will call therein for every kind of fruit in peace and security;
French 55:	Ils y demanderont en toute quiétude toutes sortes de fruits.
Spanish 55:	Pedirán allí en seguridad, toda clase de frutas.
Indonesian 55:	Di dalamnya mereka meminta segala macam buah-buahan dengan aman (dari segala kekhawatiran) .
Melayu 55:	Mereka meminta di dalam Syurga itu tiap-tiap jenis buah-buahan (yang mereka ingini), dalam keadaan aman sentosa.
German 55:	Sie werden dort Früchte jeder Art verlangen (und) in Sicherheit (leben).
Russian 55:	Там они будут просить любые фрукты, будучи в безопасности.
Bosnian 55:	U njima će moći bezbjedno koju hoće vrstu voća tražiti;
Urdu 55:	وہ اس میں ہر قسم کا میوہ امن و اطمینان سے طلب کریں گے
56	لَا يَذُوقُونَ فِيهَا الْمَوْتَ إِلَّا الْمَوْتَةَ الْأُولَىٰ ۖ وَوَقَاهُمْ عَذَابَ الْجَحِيمِ
Transliteration 56:	La yathooqoona feeha almawta illa almawtata aloola wawaqahum AAathaba aljaheemi
Yusuf Ali 56:	Nor will they there taste Death, except the first death; and He will preserve them from the Penalty of the Blazing Fire,-
Shakir 56:	They shall not taste therein death except the first death, and He will save them from the punishment of the hell,
Pickthal 56:	They taste not death therein, save the first death. And He hath saved them from the doom of hell,
Mohsin Khan: 56:	They will never taste death therein except the first death (of this world), and He will save them from the torment of the blazing Fire,
French 56:	Ils n'y goûteront pas à la mort sauf leur mort première. Et [Allah] les protégera du châtiment de la Fournaise,
Spanish 56:	No gustarán alli otra muerte que la primera y Él les preservará del castigo del fuego de la gehena,
Indonesian 56:	mereka tidak akan merasakan mati di dalamnya kecuali mati di dunia. Dan Allah memelihara mereka dari azab neraka,
Melayu 56:	Mereka tidak merasai kematian dalam Syurga itu selain daripada mati yang mereka rasai (di dunia) dahulu dan Allah selamatkan mereka dari azab Neraka;
German 56:	Den Tod werden sie dort nicht kosten, außer dem ersten Tod. Und Er wird sie vor der Strafe der Dschahim bewahren,
Russian 56:	Там они не вкусят смерти после первой смерти. Он защитил их от мучений в Аду
Bosnian 56:	u njima, poslije one prve smrti, smrt više neće okusiti i On će ih patnje u ognju sačuvati,
Urdu 56:	وہا ں پہلی موت کے سوا اور موت کا مرہ نہ چکھیں گے اورانہیں الله دوزح کے عذاب سے بچا لے گا
57	فَضْلًا مِّن رَّبِّكَ ۚ ذَ‌ٰلِكَ هُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ
Transliteration 57:	Fadlan min rabbika thalika huwa alfawzu alAAatheemu
Yusuf Ali 57:	As a Bounty from thy Lord! that will be the supreme achievement!
Shakir 57:	A grace from your Lord; this is the great achievement.
Pickthal 57:	A bounty from thy Lord. That is the supreme triumph.
Mohsin Khan: 57:	As a Bounty from your Lord! That will be the supreme success!
French 57:	c'est là une grâce de ton Seigneur. Et c'est là l'énorme succès.
Spanish 57:	como favor de tu Señor. ¡Ése es el éxito grandioso!
Indonesian 57:	sebagai karunia dari Tuhanmu. Yang demikian itu adalah keberuntungan yang besar.
Melayu 57:	(Mereka diberikan semuanya itu) sebagai limpah kurnia dari Tuhanmu (wahai Muhammad); yang demikian itulah kemenangan yang besar.
German 57:	als eine Gnade von deinem Herrn. Das ist das höchste Glück.
Russian 57:	по милости от твоего Господа. Это и есть великое преуспеяние.
Bosnian 57:	blagodat će to od Gospodara tvoga biti; to će, zaista, biti uspjeh veliki!
Urdu 57:	یہ آپکے رب کا فضل ہوگا یہی وہ بڑی کامیابی ہے
58	فَإِنَّمَا يَسَّرْنَاهُ بِلِسَانِكَ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ
Transliteration 58:	Fainnama yassarnahu bilisanika laAAallahum yatathakkaroona
Yusuf Ali 58:	Verily, We have made this (Qur'an) easy, in thy tongue, in order that they may give heed.
Shakir 58:	So have We made it easy in your tongue that they may be mindful.
Pickthal 58:	And We have made (this Scripture) easy in thy language only that they may heed.
Mohsin Khan: 58:	Certainly, We have made this (Qur'an) easy in your tongue, in order that they may remember.
French 58:	Nous ne l'avons facilité dans ta langue, qu'afin qu'ils se rappellent!
Spanish 58:	En verdad, lo hemos hecho fácil en tu lengua. Quizás, así, se dejen amonestar.
Indonesian 58:	Sesungguhnya Kami mudahkan Al Qur'an itu dengan bahasamu supaya mereka mendapat pelajaran.
Melayu 58:	Maka sesungguhnya tujuan Kami memudahkan Al-Quran dengan bahasamu (wahai Muhammad), ialah supaya mereka (yang memahaminya) beringat dan insaf (untuk beriman dan mematuhinya).
German 58:	Wir haben ihn (den Qur'an) in deiner Sprache leicht gemacht, damit sie sich ermahnen lassen.
Russian 58:	Мы облегчили его (Коран) на твоем языке, чтобы они могли помянуть назидание.
Bosnian 58:	A Kur’an smo učinili lahkim, na jeziku tvome, da bi oni pouku primili,
Urdu 58:	اس قرآن کو ہم نے آپ کی زبان میں آسان کر دیا تاکہ وہ سمجھیں
59	فَارْتَقِبْ إِنَّهُم مُّرْتَقِبُونَ
Transliteration 59:	Fairtaqib innahum murtaqiboona
Yusuf Ali 59:	So wait thou and watch; for they (too) are waiting.
Shakir 59:	Therefore wait; surely they are waiting.
Pickthal 59:	Wait then (O Muhammad). Lo! they (too) are waiting.
Mohsin Khan: 59:	Wait then (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم); verily, they (too) are waiting.
French 59:	Attends donc. Eux aussi attendent.
Spanish 59:	¡Observa, pues! Ellos observan....
Indonesian 59:	Maka tunggulah; sesungguhnya mereka itu menunggu (pula).
Melayu 59:	(Kiranya mereka tidak berbuat demikian) maka tunggulah (wahai Muhammad akan kesudahan mereka), sesungguhnya mereka juga menunggu (akan kesudahanmu).
German 59:	So gib acht; siehe, sie geben auch acht.
Russian 59:	Подожди же, ведь они тоже ждут.
Bosnian 59:	zato čekaj, i oni će čekati!
Urdu 59:	پس آپ انتظار کیجیئے بے شک وہ بھی انتظار کر ہے ہیں
