1	يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَتَّخِذُوا عَدُوِّي وَعَدُوَّكُمْ أَوْلِيَاءَ تُلْقُونَ إِلَيْهِم بِالْمَوَدَّةِ وَقَدْ كَفَرُوا بِمَا جَاءَكُم مِّنَ الْحَقِّ يُخْرِجُونَ الرَّسُولَ وَإِيَّاكُمْ ۙ أَن تُؤْمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ رَبِّكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ خَرَجْتُمْ جِهَادًا فِي سَبِيلِي وَابْتِغَاءَ مَرْضَاتِي ۚ تُسِرُّونَ إِلَيْهِم بِالْمَوَدَّةِ وَأَنَا أَعْلَمُ بِمَا أَخْفَيْتُمْ وَمَا أَعْلَنتُمْ ۚ وَمَن يَفْعَلْهُ مِنكُمْ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ سَوَاءَ السَّبِيلِ
Transliteration 1:	Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo la tattakhithoo AAaduwwee waAAaduwwakum awliyaa tulqoona ilayhim bialmawaddati waqad kafaroo bima jaakum mina alhaqqi yukhrijoona alrrasoola waiyyakum an tuminoo biAllahi rabbikum in kuntum kharajtum jihadan fee sabeelee waibtighaa mardatee tusirroona ilayhim bialmawaddati waana aAAlamu bima akhfaytum wama aAAlantum waman yafAAalhu minkum faqad dalla sawaa alssabeeli
Yusuf Ali 1:	O ye who believe! Take not my enemies and yours as friends (or protectors),- offering them (your) love, even though they have rejected the Truth that has come to you, and have (on the contrary) driven out the Prophet and yourselves (from your homes), (simply) because ye believe in Allah your Lord! If ye have come out to strive in My Way and to seek My Good Pleasure, (take them not as friends), holding secret converse of love (and friendship) with them: for I know full well all that ye conceal and all that ye reveal. And any of you that does this has strayed from the Straight Path.
Shakir 1:	O you who believe! do not take My enemy and your enemy for friends: would you offer them love while they deny what has come to you of the truth, driving out the Messenger and yourselves because you believe in Allah, your Lord? If you go forth struggling hard in My path and seeking My pleasure, would you manifest love to them? And I know what you conceal and what you manifest; and whoever of you does this, he indeed has gone astray from the straight path.
Pickthal 1:	O ye who believe! Choose not My enemy and your enemy for allies. Do ye give them friendship when they disbelieve in that truth which hath come unto you, driving out the messenger and you because ye believe in Allah, your Lord? If ye have come forth to strive in My way and seeking My good pleasure, (show them not friendship). Do ye show friendship unto them in secret, when I am Best Aware of what ye hide and what ye proclaim? And whosoever doeth it among you, he verily hath strayed from the right way.
Mohsin Khan: 1:	O you who believe! Take not My enemies and your enemies (i.e. disbelievers and polytheists) as friends, showing affection towards them, while they have disbelieved in what has come to you of the truth (i.e. Islamic Monotheism, this Qur'an, and Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم), and have driven out the Messenger (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) and yourselves (from your homeland) because you believe in Allah your Lord! If you have come forth to strive in My Cause and to seek My Good Pleasure, (then take not these disbelievers and polytheists as your friends). You show friendship to them in secret, while I am All-Aware of what you conceal and what you reveal. And whosoever of you (Muslims) does that, then indeed he has gone (far) astray from the Straight Path .
French 1:	Ô vous qui avez cru! Ne prenez pas pour alliés Mon ennemi et le vòtre, leur offrant l'amitié, alors qu'ils ont nié ce qui vous est parvenu de la vérité. Ils expulsent le Messager et vous-mêmes parce que vous croyez en Allah, votre Seigneur. Si vous êtes sortis pour lutter dans Mon chemin et pour rechercher Mon agrément, leur témoignerez-vous secrètement de l'amitié, alors que Je connais parfaitement ce que vous cachez et ce que vous divulguez? Et quiconque d'entre vous le fait s'égare de la droiture du sentier.
Spanish 1:	¡Creyentes! ¡No toméis como amigos a los enemigos Míos y vuestros, dándoles muestras de afecto, siendo así que no creen en la Verdad venida a vosotros! Expulsan al Enviado y os expulsan a vosotros porque creéis en Alá vuestro Señor. Si salís para luchar por Mi causa y por deseo de agradarme, ¿les tendréis un afecto secreto? Yo sé bien lo que ocultáis y lo que manifestáis. Quien de vosotros obra así, se extravía del camino recto.
Indonesian 1:	Hai orang-orang yang beriman, janganlah kamu mengambil musuh-Ku dan musuhmu menjadi teman-teman setia yang kamu sampaikan kepada mereka (berita-berita Muhammad), karena rasa kasih sayang; padahal sesungguhnya mereka telah ingkar kepada kebenaran yang datang kepadamu, mereka mengusir Rasul dan (mengusir) kamu karena kamu beriman kepada Allah, Tuhanmu. Jika kamu benar-benar keluar untuk berjihad pada jalan-Ku dan mencari keridhaan-Ku (janganlah kamu berbuat demikian). Kamu memberitahukan secara rahasia (berita-berita Muhammad) kepada mereka, karena rasa kasih sayang. Aku lebih mengetahui apa yang kamu sembunyikan dan apa yang kamu nyatakan. Dan barangsiapa di antara kamu yang melakukannya, maka sesungguhnya dia telah tersesat dari jalan yang lurus.
Melayu 1:	Wahai orang-orang yang beriman! Janganlah kamu mengambil musuhKu dan musuh kamu menjadi teman rapat, dengan cara kamu sampaikan kepada mereka (berita-berita rahsia orang-orang mukmin) dengan sebab hubungan baik dan kasih mesra yang ada di antara kamu dengan mereka, sedang mereka telah kufur ingkar terhadap kebenaran (Islam) yang sampai kepada kamu; mereka pula telah mengeluarkan Rasulullah (s.a.w) dan juga mengeluarkan kamu (dari Tanah Suci Mekah) disebabkan kamu beriman kepada Allah Tuhan kamu. (Janganlah kamu berbuat demikian) jika betul kamu keluar untuk berjihad pada jalanKu dan untuk mencari keredaanKu. (Tidak ada sebarang faedahnya) kamu mengadakan hubungan kasih mesra dengan mereka secara rahsia, sedang Aku amat mengetahui akan apa yang kamu rahsiakan dan apa yang kamu zahirkan. Dan (ingatlah), sesiapa di antara kamu yang melakukan perkara yang demikian, maka sesungguhnya telah sesatlah dia dari jalan yang betul.
German 1:	O ihr, die ihr glaubt, nehmt euch nicht Meine Feinde und eure Feinde zu Beschützern, indem ihr ihnen Zuneigung gutmütig zeigt, wo sie doch die Wahrheit leugnen, die zu euch gekommen ist, und den Gesandten und euch selbst austreiben, weil ihr an Allah, euren Herrn, glaubt. Wenn ihr zum Kampf für Meine Sache und im Trachten nach Meinem Wohlgefallen ausgezogen seid, gebt ihr ihnen insgeheim Zuneigung zu verstehen, während Ich doch am besten weiß, was ihr verbergt und was ihr kundtut. Und der, der von euch das tut, ist sicherlich vom geraden Weg abgeirrt.
Russian 1:	О те, которые уверовали! Не берите врага Моего и врага вашего своим покровителем и помощником. Вы открываетесь им с любовью, хотя они не веруют в истину, которая явилась вам. Они изгоняют Посланника и вас за то, что вы веруете в Аллаха, вашего Господа. Если вы выступили, чтобы сражаться на Моем пути и снискать Мое довольство, то не питайте к ним любви в тайне. Я знаю то, что вы скрываете, и то, что вы обнародуете. А кто из вас поступает таким образом, тот сбился с прямого пути.
Bosnian 1:	O vjernici, ako ste pošli da se na putu Mome borite i da naklonost Moju steknete, s Mojim i svojim neprijateljima ne prijateljujte i ljubav im ne poklanjajte - oni poriču Istinu koja vam dolazi i izgone Poslanika i vas samo zato što u Allaha, Gospodara vašeg, vjerujete. Vi im krišom ljubav poklanjate, a Ja znam i ono što tajite i ono što javno činite. Onaj od vas koji to bude činio s Pravog puta je skrenuo.
Urdu 1:	اے ایمان والو میرے دشمنوں اور اپنے دشمنوں کو دوست نہ بناؤ کہ ان کے پاس دوستی کے پیغام بھیجتے ہو حالانکہ تمہارے پاس جو سچا دین آیا ہے اس کے یہ منکر ہو چکے ہیں رسول کو اور تمہیں ا س بات پر نکالتے ہیں کہ تم الله اپنے رب پر ایمان لائے ہو اگر تم جہاد کے لیے میری راہ میں اور میری رضا جوئی کے لیے نکلے ہوتو ان کو دوست نہ بناؤ تم ان کے پاس پوشیدہ دوستی کے پیغام بھیجتے ہو حالانکہ میں خوب جانتا ہوں جو کچھ تم مخفی اور ظاہر کرتے ہو اور جس نے تم میں سے یہ کام کیا تو وہ سیدھے راستہ سے بہک گیا
2	إِن يَثْقَفُوكُمْ يَكُونُوا لَكُمْ أَعْدَاءً وَيَبْسُطُوا إِلَيْكُمْ أَيْدِيَهُمْ وَأَلْسِنَتَهُم بِالسُّوءِ وَوَدُّوا لَوْ تَكْفُرُونَ
Transliteration 2:	In yathqafookum yakoonoo lakam aAAdaan wayabsutoo ilaykum aydiyahum waalsinatahum bialssooi wawaddoo law takfuroona
Yusuf Ali 2:	If they were to get the better of you, they would behave to you as enemies, and stretch forth their hands and their tongues against you for evil: and they desire that ye should reject the Truth.
Shakir 2:	If they find you, they will be your enemies, and will stretch forth towards you their hands and their tongues with evil, and they ardently desire that you may disbelieve.
Pickthal 2:	If they have the upper hand of you, they will be your foes, and will stretch out their hands and their tongues toward you with evil (intent), and they long for you to disbelieve.
Mohsin Khan: 2:	Should they gain the upper hand over you, they would behave to you as enemies, and stretch forth their hands and their tongues against you with evil, and they desire that you should disbelieve.
French 2:	S'ils vous dominent, ils seront des ennemis pour vous et étendront en mal leurs mains et leurs langues vers vous; et ils aimeraient que vous deveniez mécréants.
Spanish 2:	Si dan con vosotros, son para vosotros enemigos y os maltratan de obra y de palabra. Querrían que no creyerais...
Indonesian 2:	Jika mereka menangkap kamu, niscaya mereka bertindak sebagai musuh bagimu dan melepaskan tangan dan lidah mereka kepadamu dengan menyakiti (mu); dan mereka ingin supaya kamu (kembali) kafir.
Melayu 2:	Jika mereka dapat menguasai kamu, nescaya mereka menjadi musuh yang membahayakan kamu dan mereka akan membebaskan tangan mereka dan lidah mereka terhadap kamu dengan kejahatan, serta mereka suka kalaulah kamu juga menjadi kafir (seperti mereka).
German 2:	Wenn sie die Oberhand über euch gewinnen, dann werden sie sich gegen euch als Feinde betragen und ihre Hände und Zungen zum Bösen gegen euch ausstrecken; und sie wünschen inständig, daß ihr ungläubig würdet.
Russian 2:	Если они случайно встретятся с вами, то они окажутся вашими врагами, будут вредить вам своими руками и языками и захотят, чтобы вы стали неверующими.
Bosnian 2:	Ako vas se oni domognu, biće neprijatelji vaši i pružiće prema vama, u zloj namjeri, ruke svoje i jezičine svoje, i jedva će dočekati da postanete nevjernici.
Urdu 2:	اگر وہ تم پر قابو پائیں تو تمہارے دشمن ہو جائیں اور تم پر اپنے ہاتھ اور اپنی زبانیں برائی سے دراز کریں اور چاہتے ہیں کہ کہیں تم کافر ہو جاؤ
3	لَن تَنفَعَكُمْ أَرْحَامُكُمْ وَلَا أَوْلَادُكُمْ ۚ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يَفْصِلُ بَيْنَكُمْ ۚ وَاللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ
Transliteration 3:	Lan tanfaAAakum arhamukum wala awladukum yawma alqiyamati yafsilu baynakum waAllahu bima taAAmaloona baseerun
Yusuf Ali 3:	Of no profit to you will be your relatives and your children on the Day of Judgment: He will judge between you: for Allah sees well all that ye do.
Shakir 3:	Your relationship would not profit you, nor your children on the day of resurrection; He will decide between you; and Allah sees what you do.
Pickthal 3:	Your ties of kindred and your children will avail you naught upon the Day of Resurrection. He will part you. Allah is Seer of what ye do.
Mohsin Khan: 3:	Neither your relatives nor your children will benefit you on the Day of Resurrection (against Allah). He will judge between you. And Allah is the All-Seer of what you do.
French 3:	Ni vos proches parents ni vos enfants ne vous seront d'aucune utilité le Jour de la Résurrection, Il [Allah] décidera entre vous, et Allah est Clairvoyant sur ce que vous faites.
Spanish 3:	El día de la Resurrección no os aprovecharán ni vuestros parientes ni vuestros hijos. Él fallará acerca de vosotros. Alá ve bien lo que hacéis.
Indonesian 3:	Karib kerabat dan anak-anakmu sekali-kali tiada bermanfa'at bagimu pada hari Kiamat. Dia akan memisahkan antara kamu. Dan Allah Maha Melihat apa yang kamu kerjakan.
Melayu 3:	Kaum kerabat kamu dan anak-anak kamu (yang tidak menurut kamu beriman) tidak sekali-kali akan mendatangkan sebarang faedah kepada kamu pada hari kiamat; Allah akan memisahkan di antara kamu semua (pada hari itu) dan (ingatlah), Allah Maha Melihat segala yang kamu kerjakan.
German 3:	Weder eure Blutsverwandtschaft noch eure Kinder werden euch nützen. Er wird zwischen euch am Tage der Auferstehung entscheiden. Und Allah sieht alles, was ihr tut.
Russian 3:	Ни ваши родственники, ни ваши дети не помогут вам. В День воскресения Он рассудит между вами. Аллах видит то, что вы совершаете.
Bosnian 3:	Ni rodbina vaša ni djeca vaša neće vam biti od koristi, na Sudnjem danu On će vas razdvojiti; - a Allah dobro vidi ono što radite.
Urdu 3:	نہ تمہیں تمہارے رشتے ناطے اور نہ تمہاری اولاد قیامت کے دن نفع دیں گے وہ تمہارے درمیان فیصلہ کرے گا اور جو تم کرتے ہو الله اسے خوب دیکھتا ہے
4	قَدْ كَانَتْ لَكُمْ أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ فِي إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَالَّذِينَ مَعَهُ إِذْ قَالُوا لِقَوْمِهِمْ إِنَّا بُرَآءُ مِنكُمْ وَمِمَّا تَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ كَفَرْنَا بِكُمْ وَبَدَا بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكُمُ الْعَدَاوَةُ وَالْبَغْضَاءُ أَبَدًا حَتَّىٰ تُؤْمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَحْدَهُ إِلَّا قَوْلَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ لِأَبِيهِ لَأَسْتَغْفِرَنَّ لَكَ وَمَا أَمْلِكُ لَكَ مِنَ اللَّهِ مِن شَيْءٍ ۖ رَّبَّنَا عَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْنَا وَإِلَيْكَ أَنَبْنَا وَإِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيرُ
Transliteration 4:	Qad kanat lakum oswatun hasanatun fee ibraheema waallatheena maAAahu ith qaloo liqawmihim inna buraao minkum wamimma taAAbudoona min dooni Allahi kafarna bikum wabada baynana wabaynakumu alAAadawatu waalbaghdao abadan hatta tuminoo biAllahi wahdahu illa qawla ibraheema liabeehi laastaghfiranna laka wama amliku laka mina Allahi min shayin rabbana AAalayka tawakkalna wailayka anabna wailayka almaseeru
Yusuf Ali 4:	There is for you an excellent example (to follow) in Abraham and those with him, when they said to their people: "We are clear of you and of whatever ye worship besides Allah. we have rejected you, and there has arisen, between us and you, enmity and hatred for ever,- unless ye believe in Allah and Him alone": But not when Abraham said to his father: "I will pray for forgiveness for thee, though I have no power (to get) aught on thy behalf from Allah." (They prayed): "Our Lord! in Thee do we trust, and to Thee do we turn in repentance: to Thee is (our) Final Goal.
Shakir 4:	Indeed, there is for you a good example in Ibrahim and those with him when they said to their people: Surely we are clear of you and of what you serve besides Allah; we declare ourselves to be clear of you, and enmity and hatred have appeared between us and you forever until you believe in Allah alone-- but not in what Ibrahim said to his father: I would certainly ask forgiveness for you, and I do not control for you aught from Allah-- Our Lord! on Thee do we rely, and to Thee do we turn, and to Thee is the eventual coming:
Pickthal 4:	There is a goodly pattern for you in Abraham and those with him, when they told their folk: Lo! we are guiltless of you and all that ye worship beside Allah. We have done with you. And there hath arisen between us and you hostility and hate for ever until ye believe in Allah only - save that which Abraham promised his father (when he said): I will ask forgiveness for thee, though I own nothing for thee from Allah - Our Lord! In Thee we put our trust, and unto Thee we turn repentant, and unto Thee is the journeying.
Mohsin Khan: 4:	Indeed there has been an excellent example for you in Ibrahim (Abraham) and those with him, when they said to their people: "Verily, we are free from you and whatever you worship besides Allah: we have rejected you, and there has started between us and you hostility and hatred for ever until you believe in Allah Alone" - except the saying of Ibrahim (Abraham) to his father: "Verily, I will ask forgiveness (from Allah) for you, but I have no power to do anything for you before Allah. " Our Lord! In You (Alone) we put our trust, and to You (Alone) we turn in repentance, and to You (Alone) is (our) final Return.
French 4:	Certes, vous avez eu un bel exemple [à suivre] en Abraham et en ceux qui étaient avec lui, quand ils dirent à leur peuple: ‹Nous vous désavouons, vous et ce que vous adorez en dehors d'Allah. Nous vous renions. Entre vous et nous, l'inimitié et la haine sont à jamais déclarées jusqu'à ce que vous croyiez en Allah, seul›. Exception faite de la parole d'Abraham [adressée] à son père: ‹J'implorerai certes, le pardon [d'Allah] en ta faveur bien que je ne puisse rien pour toi auprès d'Allah›. ‹Seigneur, c'est en Toi que nous mettons notre confiance et à Toi nous revenons [repentants]. Et vers Toi est le Devenir.
Spanish 4:	Tenéis un bello modelo en Abraham y en los que con él estaban. Cuando dijeron a su pueblo: "No somos responsables de vosotros ni de lo que servís en lugar de servir a Alá. ¡Renegamos de vosotros! ¡Ha aparecido, entre nosotros y vosotros, hostilidad y odio para siempre mientras no creáis en Alá Solo!" No es de imitar, en cambio, Abraham cuando dijo a su padre: "He de pedir perdón para ti, aunque no pueda hacer nada por ti contra Alá. ¡Señor! Confiamos en Ti y a Ti nos volvemos arrepentidos. ¡Eres Tú el fin de todo!
Indonesian 4:	Sesungguhnya telah ada suri teladan yang baik bagimu pada Ibrahim dan orang-orang yang bersama dengan dia; ketika mereka berkata kepada kaum mereka: "Sesungguhnya kami berlepas diri dari kamu dan dari apa yang kamu sembah selain Allah, kami ingkari (kekafiran)mu dan telah nyata antara kami dan kamu permusuhan dan kebencian buat selama-lamanya sampai kamu beriman kepada Allah saja. Kecuali perkataan Ibrahim kepada bapaknya : "Sesungguhnya aku akan memohonkan ampunan bagi kamu dan aku tiada dapat menolak sesuatupun dari kamu (siksaan) Allah". (Ibrahim berkata): "Ya Tuhan kami, hanya kepada Engkaulah kami bertawakkal dan hanya kepada Engkaulah kami bertaubat dan hanya kepada Engkaulah kami kembali.
Melayu 4:	Sesungguhnya adalah bagi kamu pada bawaan Nabi Ibrahim (a.s) dan pengikut-pengikutnya contoh ikutan yang baik, semasa mereka berkata kepada kaumnya (yang kufur ingkar): Sesungguhnya kami berlepas diri daripada kamu dan daripada apa yang kamu sembah yang lain dari Allah; kami kufur ingkarkan (segala penyembahan) kamu dan (dengan ini) nyatalah perasaan permusuhan dan kebencian di antara kami dengan kamu selama-lamanya, sehingga kamu menyembah Allah semata-mata, tetapi janganlah dicontohi perkataan Nabi Ibrahim kepada bapanya (katanya): Aku akan memohon kepada Tuhanku mengampun dosamu dan aku tidak berkuasa menahan (azab seksa) dari Allah sedikit juapun daripada menimpamu. (Berdoalah wahai orang-orang yang beriman sebagaimana Nabi Ibrahim dan pengikut-pengikutnya berdoa ketika mereka memusuhi kaumnya yang kafir, dengan berkata): Wahai Tuhan kami! Kepada Engkaulah sahaja kami berserah diri dan kepada Engkaulah kami rujuk bertaubat, serta kepada Engkaulah jua tempat kembali!
German 4:	"Ihr habt bereits ein vortreffliches Beispiel an Abraham und denen mit ihm, als sie zu ihrem Volk sagten: ""Wir haben nichts mit euch noch mit dem zu schaffen, was ihr statt Allah anbetet. Wir verwerfen euch. Und zwischen uns und euch ist offenbar für immer Feindschaft und Haß entstanden, (solange,) bis ihr an Allah glaubt und an Ihn allein!"" - abgesehen von Abrahams Wort zu seinem Vater: ""Ich will gewiß für dich um Verzeihung bitten, obwohl ich nicht die Macht dazu habe, bei Allah für dich etwas auszurichten."" (Sie beteten:) ""Unser Herr, in Dich setzen wir unser Vertrauen, und zu Dir kehren wir reumütig zurück, und zu Dir ist die letzte Einkehr.
Russian 4:	Прекрасным примером для вас были Ибрахим (Авраам) и те, кто был с ним. Они сказали своему народу: «Мы отрекаемся от вас и тех, кому вы поклоняетесь вместо Аллаха. Мы отвергаем вас, и между нами и вами установились вражда и ненависть навеки, пока вы не уверуете в одного Аллаха». Лишь только Ибрахим (Авраам) сказал своему отцу: «Я обязательно буду просить для тебя прощения, но я не властен помочь тебе перед Аллахом. Господь наш! На Тебя одного мы уповаем, к Тебе одному мы обращаемся, и к Тебе предстоит прибытие.
Bosnian 4:	Divan uzor za vas je Ibrahim i oni koji su uz njega bili kada su narodu svome rekli: "Mi s vama nemamo ništa, a ni sa onima kojima se, umjesto Allahu, klanjate; mi vas se odričemo, i neprijateljstvo i mržnja će između nas ostati sve dok ne budete u Allaha, Njega jedinog, vjerovali!"- ali nisu riječi Ibrahimove ocu svome: "Ja ću se moliti da ti oprosti, ali te ne mogu od Allaha odbraniti." - Gospodaru naš, u Tebe se uzdamo i Tebi se obraćamo i Tebi ćemo se vratiti.
Urdu 4:	بے شک تمہارے لیے ابراہیم میں اچھا نمونہ ہے اوران لوگوں میں جو اس کے ہمراہ تھے جب کہ انہوں نے اپنی قوم سے کہا تھا بے شک ہم تم سے بیزار ہیں اور ان سے جنہیں تم الله کے سوا پوجتے ہو ہم نے تمہارا انکار کر دیا اور ہمارے او رتمہارے درمیان دشمنی اور بیَر ہمیشہ کے لیے ظاہر ہو گیا یہاں تک کہ تم ایک الله پر ایمان لاؤ مگر ابراھیم کا اپنے باپ سے کہنا کہ میں تمہارے لیے معافی مانگوں گا اور میں الله کی طرف سے تمہارے لیے کسی بات کا مالک بھی نہیں ہوں اے ہمارے رب ہم نے تجھ ہی پر بھروسہ کیا اور تیری ہی طرف ہم رجوع ہوئے اور تیری ہی طرف لوٹنا ہے
5	رَبَّنَا لَا تَجْعَلْنَا فِتْنَةً لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا رَبَّنَا ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ
Transliteration 5:	Rabbana la tajAAalna fitnatan lillatheena kafaroo waighfir lana rabbana innaka anta alAAazeezu alhakeemu
Yusuf Ali 5:	"Our Lord! Make us not a (test and) trial for the Unbelievers, but forgive us, our Lord! for Thou art the Exalted in Might, the Wise."
Shakir 5:	Our Lord! do not make us a trial for those who disbelieve, and forgive us, our Lord! surely Thou art the Mighty, the Wise.
Pickthal 5:	Our Lord! Make us not a prey for those who disbelieve, and forgive us, our Lord! Lo! Thou, only Thou, are the Mighty, the Wise.

6	لَقَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ فِيهِمْ أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ لِّمَن كَانَ يَرْجُو اللَّهَ وَالْيَوْمَ الْآخِرَ ۚ وَمَن يَتَوَلَّ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْغَنِيُّ الْحَمِيدُ
Transliteration 6:	Laqad kana lakum feehim oswatun hasanatun liman kana yarjoo Allaha waalyawma alakhira waman yatawalla fainna Allaha huwa alghanniyyu alhameedu
Yusuf Ali 6:	There was indeed in them an excellent example for you to follow,- for those whose hope is in Allah and in the Last Day. But if any turn away, truly Allah is Free of all Wants, Worthy of all Praise.
Shakir 6:	Certainly there is for you in them a good example, for him who fears Allah and the last day; and whoever turns back, then surely Allah is the Self-sufficient, the Praised.
Pickthal 6:	Verily ye have in them a goodly pattern for everyone who looketh to Allah and the Last Day. And whosoever may turn away, lo! still Allah, He is the Absolute, the Owner of Praise.
Mohsin Khan: 6:	Certainly, there has been in them an excellent example for you to follow - for those who look forward to (the Meeting with) Allah and the Last Day. And whosoever turns away, then verily, Allah is Rich (Free of all needs), Worthy of all Praise.

Indonesian 6:	Sesungguhnya pada mereka itu (Ibrahim dan umatnya) ada teladan yang baik bagimu; (yaitu) bagi orang yang mengharap (pahala) Allah dan (keselamatan pada) Hari kemudian. Dan barangsiapa yang berpaling, maka sesungguhnya Allah, Dia-lah Yang Maha Kaya lagi terpuji.
Melayu 6:	Demi sesungguhnya! Adalah bagi kamu pada bawaan Nabi Ibrahim dan pengikut-pengikutnya itu contoh ikutan yang baik, iaitu bagi orang yang sentiasa mengharapkan keredaan Allah dan (balasan baik) hari akhirat dan sesiapa yang berpaling daripada mencontohi mereka, (maka padahnya akan menimpa dirinya sendiri), kerana sesungguhnya Allah Dialah Yang Maha Kaya, lagi Maha Terpuji.

7	۞ عَسَى اللَّهُ أَن يَجْعَلَ بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَ الَّذِينَ عَادَيْتُم مِّنْهُم مَّوَدَّةً ۚ وَاللَّهُ قَدِيرٌ ۚ وَاللَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ
Transliteration 7:	AAasa Allahu an yajAAala baynakum wabayna allatheena AAadaytum minhum mawaddatan waAllahu qadeerun waAllahu ghafoorun raheemun
Yusuf Ali 7:	It may be that Allah will grant love (and friendship) between you and those whom ye (now) hold as enemies. For Allah has power (over all things); And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
Shakir 7:	It may be that Allah will bring about friendship between you and those whom you hold to be your enemies among them; and Allah is Powerful; and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
Pickthal 7:	It may be that Allah will ordain love between you and those of them with whom ye are at enmity. Allah is Mighty, and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
Mohsin Khan: 7:	Perhaps Allah will make friendship between you and those whom you hold as enemies. And Allah has power (over all things), and Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

8	لَّا يَنْهَاكُمُ اللَّهُ عَنِ الَّذِينَ لَمْ يُقَاتِلُوكُمْ فِي الدِّينِ وَلَمْ يُخْرِجُوكُم مِّن دِيَارِكُمْ أَن تَبَرُّوهُمْ وَتُقْسِطُوا إِلَيْهِمْ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُقْسِطِينَ
Transliteration 8:	La yanhakumu Allahu AAani allatheena lam yuqatilookum fee alddeeni walam yukhrijookum min diyarikum an tabarroohum watuqsitoo ilayhim inna Allaha yuhibbu almuqsiteena
Yusuf Ali 8:	Allah forbids you not, with regard to those who fight you not for (your) Faith nor drive you out of your homes, from dealing kindly and justly with them: for Allah loveth those who are just.
Shakir 8:	Allah does not forbid you respecting those who have not made war against you on account of (your) religion, and have not driven you forth from your homes, that you show them kindness and deal with them justly; surely Allah loves the doers of justice.
Pickthal 8:	Allah forbiddeth you not those who warred not against you on account of religion and drove you not out from your homes, that ye should show them kindness and deal justly with them. Lo! Allah loveth the just dealers.
Mohsin Khan: 8:	Allah does not forbid you to deal justly and kindly with those who fought not against you on account of religion nor drove you out of your homes. Verily, Allah loves those who deal with equity.

Urdu 8:	الله تمہیں ان لوگو ں سے منع نہیں کرتا جو تم سے دین کے بارے میں نہیں لڑتے اورنہ انہوں نے تمہیں تمہارے گھروں سے نکالا ہے اس بات سے کہ تم ان سے بھلائی کرو اور ان کے حق میں انصاف کرو بیشک الله انصاف کرنے والوں کو پسند کرتا ہے
9	إِنَّمَا يَنْهَاكُمُ اللَّهُ عَنِ الَّذِينَ قَاتَلُوكُمْ فِي الدِّينِ وَأَخْرَجُوكُم مِّن دِيَارِكُمْ وَظَاهَرُوا عَلَىٰ إِخْرَاجِكُمْ أَن تَوَلَّوْهُمْ ۚ وَمَن يَتَوَلَّهُمْ فَأُولَـٰئِكَ هُمُ الظَّالِمُونَ
Transliteration 9:	Innama yanhakumu Allahu AAani allatheena qatalookum fee alddeeni waakhrajookum min diyarikum wathaharoo AAala ikhrajikum an tawallawhum waman yatawallahum faolaika humu alththalimoona
Yusuf Ali 9:	Allah only forbids you, with regard to those who fight you for (your) Faith, and drive you out of your homes, and support (others) in driving you out, from turning to them (for friendship and protection). It is such as turn to them (in these circumstances), that do wrong.
Shakir 9:	Allah only forbids you respecting those who made war upon you on account of (your) religion, and drove you forth from your homes and backed up (others) in your expulsion, that you make friends with them, and whoever makes friends with them, these are the unjust.
Pickthal 9:	Allah forbiddeth you only those who warred against you on account of religion and have driven you out from your homes and helped to drive you out, that ye make friends of them. Whosoever maketh friends of them - (All) such are wrong-doers.
Mohsin Khan: 9:	It is only as regards those who fought against you on account of religion, and have driven you out of your homes, and helped to drive you out, that Allah forbids you to befriend them. And whosoever will befriend them, then such are the Zalimun (wrong-doers - those who disobey Allah).
French 9:	Allah vous défend seulement de prendre pour alliés ceux qui vous ont combattus pour la religion, chassés de vos demeures et ont aidé à votre expulsion. Et ceux qui les prennent pour alliés sont les injustes.
Spanish 9:	Lo que sí os prohíbe Alá es que toméis como amigos a los que han combatido contra vosotros por causa de la religión y os han expulsado de vuestros hogares o han contribuído a vuestra expulsión. Quienes les tomen como amigos, ésos son los impíos.
Indonesian 9:	Sesungguhnya Allah hanya melarang kamu menjadikan sebagai kawanmu orang-orang yang memerangi kamu karena agama dan mengusir kamu dari negerimu dan membantu (orang lain) untuk mengusirmu. Dan barangsiapa menjadikan mereka sebagai kawan, maka mereka itulah orang-orang yang zalim.
Melayu 9:	Sesungguhnya Allah hanyalah melarang kamu daripada menjadikan teman rapat orang-orang yang memerangi kamu kerana agama (kamu) dan mengeluarkan kamu dari kampung halaman kamu, serta membantu (orang lain) untuk mengusir kamu dan (ingatlah), sesiapa yang menjadikan mereka teman rapat, maka mereka itulah orang-orang yang zalim.
German 9:	Doch Allah verbietet euch, mit denen, die euch des Glaubens wegen bekämpft haben und euch aus euren Häusern vertrieben und (anderen) geholfen haben, euch zu vertreiben, Freundschaft zu schließen. Und wer mit ihnen Freundschaft schließt - das sind die Missetäter.
Russian 9:	Аллах запрещает вам дружить только с теми, которые сражались с вами из-за религии, выгоняли вас из ваших жилищ и способствовали вашему изгнанию. А те, которые берут их себе в помощники и друзья, являются беззаконниками.

Urdu 9:	تمہیں الله انہیں سے منع کرتا ہے کہ جو دین میں تم سے لڑے اورانہوں نے تمہیں تمہارے گھروں سے نکال دیا اور تمہارے نکالنے پر (لوگوں کی) مدد بھی کی کہ ان سے دوستی کرو اورجس نے ان سے دوستی کی تو پھر وہی ظالم بھی ہیں
10	يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِذَا جَاءَكُمُ الْمُؤْمِنَاتُ مُهَاجِرَاتٍ فَامْتَحِنُوهُنَّ ۖ اللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِإِيمَانِهِنَّ ۖ فَإِنْ عَلِمْتُمُوهُنَّ مُؤْمِنَاتٍ فَلَا تَرْجِعُوهُنَّ إِلَى الْكُفَّارِ ۖ لَا هُنَّ حِلٌّ لَّهُمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحِلُّونَ لَهُنَّ ۖ وَآتُوهُم مَّا أَنفَقُوا ۚ وَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ أَن تَنكِحُوهُنَّ إِذَا آتَيْتُمُوهُنَّ أُجُورَهُنَّ ۚ وَلَا تُمْسِكُوا بِعِصَمِ الْكَوَافِرِ وَاسْأَلُوا مَا أَنفَقْتُمْ وَلْيَسْأَلُوا مَا أَنفَقُوا ۚ ذَ‌ٰلِكُمْ حُكْمُ اللَّهِ ۖ يَحْكُمُ بَيْنَكُمْ ۚ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ
Transliteration 10:	Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo itha jaakumu almuminatu muhajiratin faimtahinoohunna Allahu aAAlamu bieemanihinna fain AAalimtumoohunna muminatin fala tarjiAAoohunna ila alkuffari la hunna hillun lahum wala hum yahilloona lahunna waatoohum ma anfaqoo wala junaha AAalaykum an tankihoohunna itha ataytumoohunna ojoorahunna wala tumsikoo biAAisami alkawafiri waisaloo ma anfaqtum walyasaloo ma anfaqoo thalikum hukmu Allahi yahkumu baynakum waAllahu AAaleemun hakeemun
Yusuf Ali 10:	O ye who believe! When there come to you believing women refugees, examine (and test) them: Allah knows best as to their Faith: if ye ascertain that they are Believers, then send them not back to the Unbelievers. They are not lawful (wives) for the Unbelievers, nor are the (Unbelievers) lawful (husbands) for them. But pay the Unbelievers what they have spent (on their dower), and there will be no blame on you if ye marry them on payment of their dower to them. But hold not to the guardianship of unbelieving women: ask for what ye have spent on their dowers, and let the (Unbelievers) ask for what they have spent (on the dowers of women who come over to you). Such is the command of Allah. He judges (with justice) between you. And Allah is Full of Knowledge and Wisdom.
Shakir 10:	O you who believe! when believing women come to you flying, then examine them; Allah knows best their faith; then if you find them to be believing women, do not send them back to the unbelievers, neither are these (women) lawful for them, nor are those (men) lawful for them, and give them what they have spent; and no blame attaches to you in marrying them when you give them their dowries; and hold not to the ties of marriage of unbelieving women, and ask for what you have spent, and to them ask for what they have spent. That is Allah's judgment; He judges between you, and Allah is Knowing, Wise.
Pickthal 10:	O ye who believe! When believing women come unto you as fugitives, examine them. Allah is Best Aware of their faith. Then, if ye know them for true believers, send them not back unto the disbelievers. They are not lawful for them (the disbelievers), nor are they (the disbelievers) lawful for them. And give them (the disbelievers) that which they have spent (upon them). And it is no sin for you to marry such women when ye have given them their dues. And hold not to the ties of disbelieving women; and ask for (the return of) that which ye have spent; and let them (the disbelievers) ask for that which they have spent. That is the judgment of Allah. He judgeth between you. Allah is Knower, Wise.
Mohsin Khan: 10:	O you who believe! When believing women come to you as emigrants, examine them; Allah knows best as to their Faith, then if you ascertain that they are true believers send them not back to the disbelievers. They are not lawful (wives) for the disbelievers nor are the disbelievers lawful (husbands) for them. But give them (the disbelievers) that (amount of money) which they have spent [as their Mahr] to them. And there will be no sin on you to marry them if you have paid their Mahr to them. Likewise hold not the disbelieving women as wives, and ask for (the return of) that which you have spent (as Mahr ) and let them (the disbelievers) ask back for that which they have spent. That is the Judgement of Allah, He judges between you. And Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.
French 10:	Ô vous qui avez cru! Quand les croyantes viennent à vous en émigrées, éprouvez-les; Allah connaît mieux leur foi; si vous constatez qu'elles sont croyantes, ne les renvoyez pas aux mécréants. Elles ne sont pas licites [en tant qu'épouses] pour eux, et eux non plus ne sont pas licites [en tant qu'époux] pour elles. Et rendez-leur ce qu'ils ont dépensé (comme mahr). Il ne vous sera fait aucun grief en vous mariant avec elles quand vous leur aurez donné leur mahr. Et ne gardez pas de liens conjugaux avec les mécréantes. Réclamez ce que vous avez dépensé et que (les mécréants) aussi réclament ce qu'ils ont dépensé. Tel est le jugement d'Allah par lequel Il juge entre vous, et Allah est Omniscient et Sage.
Spanish 10:	¡Creyentes! Cuando vengan a vosotros mujeres creyentes que hayan emigrado, ¡examinadlas! Alá conoce bien su fe. Si comprobáis que de verdad son creyentes, no las devolváis a los infieles: ni ellas son lícitas para ellos ni ellos lo son para ellas. ¡Reembolsadles lo que hayan gastado! No tenéis nada que reprocharos si os casáis con ellas, con tal que les entreguéis su dote. Pero no retengáis a las infieles. Pedid lo que hayáis gastado, y que ellos también pidan lo que hayan gastado. Ésa es la decisión de Alá. Él decide entre vosotros. Alá es omnisciente, sabio.
Indonesian 10:	Hai orang-orang yang beriman, apabila datang berhijrah kepadamu perempuan-perempuan yang beriman, maka hendaklah kamu uji (keimanan) mereka. Allah lebih mengetahui tentang keimanan mereka; maka jika kamu telah mengetahui bahwa mereka (benar-benar) beriman maka janganlah kamu kembalikan mereka kepada (suami-suami mereka) orang-orang kafir. Mereka tiada halal bagi orang-orang kafir itu dan orang-orang kafir itu tiada halal pula bagi mereka. Dan berikanlah kepada (suami-suami) mereka mahar yang telah mereka bayar. Dan tiada dosa atasmu mengawini mereka apabila kamu bayar kepada mereka maharnya. Dan janganlah kamu tetap berpegang pada tali (perkawinan) dengan perempuan-perempuan kafir; dan hendaklah kamu minta mahar yang telah kamu bayar; dan hendaklah mereka meminta mahar yang telah mereka bayar. Demikianlah hukum Allah yang ditetapkan-Nya di antara kamu. Dan Allah Maha Mengetahui lagi Maha Bijaksana.
Melayu 10:	Wahai orang-orang yang beriman! Apabila orang-orang perempuan yang mengaku beriman datang berhijrah kepada kamu, maka ujilah (iman) mereka: Allah lebih mengetahui akan iman mereka: Dengan yang demikian, sekiranya kamu mengetahui bahawa mereka beriman, maka janganlah kamu mengembalikan mereka kepada orang-orang yang kafir. Mereka tidak halal bagi orang-orang kafir itu (sebagai isteri) dan orang-orang kafir itu pula tidak halal bagi mereka (sebagai suami) dan berilah kepada suami-suami (yang kafir) itu apa yang mereka telah belanjakan dan tidaklah menjadi salah kamu berkahwin dengan mereka (perempuan-perempuan yang berhijrah itu) apabila kamu memberi kepada mereka mas kahwinnya dan janganlah kamu (wahai orang-orang Islam) tetap berpegang kepada akad perkahwinan kamu dengan perempuan-perempuan yang (kekal dalam keadaan) kafir dan mintalah balik mas kahwin yang kamu telah berikan dan biarkanlah mereka (suami-suami yang kafir itu) meminta balik apa yang mereka telah belanjakan. Demikianlah hukum Allah; Dia hukumkan di antara kamu (dengan adil) dan (ingatlah), Allah Maha Mengetahui, lagi Maha Bijaksana.
German 10:	O ihr, die ihr glaubt, wenn gläubige Frauen als Flüchtlinge zu euch kommen, so prüft sie. Allah weiß am besten, wie ihr Glaube in Wirklichkeit ist. Wenn ihr sie dann gläubig findet, so schickt sie nicht zu den Ungläubigen zurück. Diese (Frauen) sind ihnen nicht erlaubt, noch sind sie (als Ehemänner) diesen (Frauen) erlaubt. Jedoch zahlt (ihren ungläubigen Ehemännern) das zurück, was sie (für sie) ausgegeben haben. Und es ist keine Sünde für euch, sie zu heiraten, wenn ihr ihnen ihre Brautgabe gegeben habt. Und haltet nicht am Ehebund mit den ungläubigen Frauen fest, sondern verlangt das zurück, was ihr (für sie) ausgegeben habt, und laßt (die Ungläubigen) das zurückverlangen, was sie (für sie) ausgegeben haben. Das ist Allahs Gebot. Er richtet zwiscen euch. Und Allah ist Allwissend, Allweise
Russian 10:	О те, которые уверовали! Когда к вам прибывают переселившиеся верующие женщины, то подвергайте их испытанию. Аллаху лучше знать об их вере. Если вы узнаете, что они являются верующими, то не возвращайте их неверующим, ибо им не дозволено жениться на них, а им не дозволено выходить замуж за них. Возвращайте им (неверующим) то, что они потратили на приданое. На вас не будет греха, если вы женитесь на них после уплаты их вознаграждения (приданого). Не держитесь за узы с неверующими женами и требуйте назад то, что вы потратили на приданое. И пусть они (неверующие) требуют то, что они потратили на приданое. Таково решение Аллаха. Он решает между вами. Аллах – Знающий, Мудрый.
Bosnian 10:	O vjernici, kada vam vjernice kao muhadžirke dođu, ispitajte ih - a Allah dobro zna kakvo je vjerovanje njihovo - pa ako se uvjerite da su vjernice onda ih ne vraćajte nevjernicima: one njima nisu dopuštene, niti su oni njima dopušteni; a njima podajte ono što su potrošili. Nije vam grijeh da se njima ženite kad im vjenčane darove njihove date. U braku mnogoboškinje ne zadržavajte! Tražite ono što ste potrošili, a neka i one traže ono što su potrošili! To je Allahov sud, On sudi među vama - a Allah sve zna i mudar je.
Urdu 10:	اے ایمان والو جب تمہارے پاس مومن عورتیں ہجرت کر کے آئيں تو ان کی جانچ کر لو الله ہی ان کے ایمان کو خوب جانتا ہے پس اگر تم انہیں مومن معلوم کر لو تو انہیں کفار کی طرف نہ لوٹاؤ نہ وہ (عورتیں) ان کے لیے حلال ہیں اور نہ وہ (کافر) ان کے لیے حلال ہیں اور ان کفار کو دے دو جو کچھ انہوں نے خرچ کیا اور تم پر گناہ نہیں کہ تم ان سے نکاح کر لو جب تم انہیں ان کے مہر دے دو اور کافر عورتوں کے ناموس کو قبضہ میں نہ رکھو اور جو تم نےان عورتوں پر خرچ کیا تھا مانگ لو اور جو انہوں نے خرچ کیا کہ وہ مانگ لیں الله کا یہی حکم ہے جو تمہارے لیے صاد رفرمایا اور الله سب کچھ جاننے والا حکمت والا ہے
11	وَإِن فَاتَكُمْ شَيْءٌ مِّنْ أَزْوَاجِكُمْ إِلَى الْكُفَّارِ فَعَاقَبْتُمْ فَآتُوا الَّذِينَ ذَهَبَتْ أَزْوَاجُهُم مِّثْلَ مَا أَنفَقُوا ۚ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ الَّذِي أَنتُم بِهِ مُؤْمِنُونَ
Transliteration 11:	Wain fatakum shayon min azwajikum ila alkuffari faAAaqabtum faatoo allatheena thahabat azwajuhum mithla ma anfaqoo waittaqoo Allaha allathee antum bihi muminoona
Yusuf Ali 11:	And if any of your wives deserts you to the Unbelievers, and ye have an accession (by the coming over of a woman from the other side), then pay to those whose wives have deserted the equivalent of what they had spent (on their dower). And fear Allah, in Whom ye believe.
Shakir 11:	And if anything (out of the dowries) of your wives has passed away from you to the unbelievers, then your turn comes, give to those whose wives have gone away the like of what they have spent, and be careful of (your duty to) Allah in Whom you believe.
Pickthal 11:	And if any of your wives have gone from you unto the disbelievers and afterward ye have your turn (of triumph), then give unto those whose wives have gone the like of that which they have spent, and keep your duty to Allah in Whom ye are believers.
Mohsin Khan: 11:	And if any of your wives have gone from you to the disbelievers, (as apostates and you asked them to return back your Mahr but they refused) - then you went out for a Ghazwah (military expedition) (against them and) gained booty; then pay from that booty to those whose wives have gone, the equivalent of what they had spent (on their Mahr ). And fear Allah in Whom you believe.
French 11:	Et si quelqu'une de vos épouses s'échappe vers les mécréants, et que vous fassiez des représailles, restituez à ceux dont les épouses sont parties autant que ce qu'ils avaient dépensé. Craignez Allah en qui vous croyez.
Spanish 11:	Si alguna de vuestras esposas se pasa a los infieles y, luego, os toca a vosotros vencer, dad a aquéllos cuyas esposas hayan huido otro tanto de lo que habían gastado. ¡Temed a Alá, en Quien creéis!
Indonesian 11:	Dan jika seseorang dari isteri-isterimu lari kepada orang-orang kafir, lalu kamu mengalahkan mereka maka bayarkanlah kepada orang-orang yang lari isterinya itu mahar sebanyak yang telah mereka bayar . Dan bertakwalah kepada Allah Yang kepada-Nya kamu beriman.
Melayu 11:	Dan sekiranya kamu tidak dapat menerima balik sesuatu dari mas kahwin isteri-isteri kamu (yang menjadi murtad serta) melarikan diri ke pihak orang-orang kafir, kemudian kamu menyerang puak yang kafir itu serta mendapat harta rampasan maka berikanlah kepada orang-orang (Islam) yang lari isterinya itu ganti mas kahwinnya sebanyak yang mereka telah bayar dan bertakwalah kamu kepada Allah yang kamu beriman kepadaNya.
German 11:	Und wenn irgendeine von euren Frauen von euch zu den Ungläubigen fortgeht, dann gebt, wenn ihr (bei den Ungläubigen) Beute macht, jenen (Gläubigen), deren Frauen fortgegangen sind, das gleiche von dem, was sie (für ihre Frauen) ausgegeben haben. Und fürchtet Allah, an Den ihr glaubt.
Russian 11:	Если какая-либо из ваших жен ушла от вас к неверующим, после чего вы получили военную добычу, то отдайте тем, жены которых ушли, потраченное ими на приданое. Бойтесь Аллаха, в Которого вы веруете.
Bosnian 11:	A ako neka od žena vaših nevjernicima umakne, i ako vi poslije u borbu s njima stupite, onda onima čije su žene umakle - vjenčane darove koje su im dali namirite. I bojte se Allaha, u koga vjerujete!
Urdu 11:	اور اگرکوئی عورت تمہاری عورتوں میں سے کفار کے پاس نکل گئی ہے پھر تمہاری باری آجائے تو ان مسلمانو ں کو دے دو جن کی بیویاں چلی گئی ہیں جتنا کہ انہوں نے دیا تھا اوراس الله سے ڈرو کہ جس پر تم ایمان لائے ہو
12	يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ إِذَا جَاءَكَ الْمُؤْمِنَاتُ يُبَايِعْنَكَ عَلَىٰ أَن لَّا يُشْرِكْنَ بِاللَّهِ شَيْئًا وَلَا يَسْرِقْنَ وَلَا يَزْنِينَ وَلَا يَقْتُلْنَ أَوْلَادَهُنَّ وَلَا يَأْتِينَ بِبُهْتَانٍ يَفْتَرِينَهُ بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِنَّ وَأَرْجُلِهِنَّ وَلَا يَعْصِينَكَ فِي مَعْرُوفٍ ۙ فَبَايِعْهُنَّ وَاسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُنَّ اللَّهَ ۖ إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ
Transliteration 12:	Ya ayyuha alnnabiyyu itha jaaka almuminatu yubayiAAnaka AAala an la yushrikna biAllahi shayan wala yasriqna wala yazneena wala yaqtulna awladahunna wala yateena bibuhtanin yaftareenahu bayna aydeehinna waarjulihinna wala yaAAseenaka fee maAAroofin fabayiAAhunna waistaghfir lahunna Allaha inna Allaha ghafoorun raheemun
Yusuf Ali 12:	O Prophet! When believing women come to thee to take the oath of fealty to thee, that they will not associate in worship any other thing whatever with Allah, that they will not steal, that they will not commit adultery (or fornication), that they will not kill their children, that they will not utter slander, intentionally forging falsehood, and that they will not disobey thee in any just matter,- then do thou receive their fealty, and pray to Allah for the forgiveness (of their sins): for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
Shakir 12:	O Prophet! when believing women come to you giving you a pledge that they will not associate aught with Allah, and will not steal, and will not commit fornication, and will not kill their children, and will not bring a calumny which they have forged of themselves, and will not disobey you in what is good, accept their pledge, and ask forgiveness for them from Allah; surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
Pickthal 12:	O Prophet! If believing women come unto thee, taking oath of allegiance unto thee that they will ascribe no thing as partner unto Allah, and will neither steal nor commit adultery nor kill their children, nor produce any lie that they have devised between their hands and feet, nor disobey thee in what is right, then accept their allegiance and ask Allah to forgive them. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
Mohsin Khan: 12:	O Prophet! When believing women come to you to give you the Bai'ah (pledge), that they will not associate anything in worship with Allah, that they will not steal, that they will not commit illegal sexual intercourse, that they will not kill their children, that they will not utter slander, intentionally forging falsehood (i.e. by making illegal children belonging to their husbands), and that they will not disobey you in Ma'ruf (Islamic Monotheism and all that which Islam ordains), then accept their Bai'ah (pledge), and ask Allah to forgive them. Verily, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Spanish 12:	¡Profeta! Cuando las creyentes vengan a ti a prestarte juramento de fidelidad, de que no asociarán nada a Alá, que no robarán, que no fornicarán, que no matarán a sus hijos, que no dirán calumnia forjada entre sus manos y pies, que no te desobedecerán en lo que se juzgue razonable, acepta su juramento y pide a Alá que les perdone. Alá es indulgente, misericordioso.
Indonesian 12:	Hai Nabi, apabila datang kepadamu perempuan-perempuan yang beriman untuk mengadakan janji setia, bahwa mereka tidak akan mempersekutukan sesuatupun dengan Allah; tidak akan mencuri, tidak akan berzina, tidak akan membunuh anak-anaknya, tidak akan berbuat dusta yang mereka ada-adakan antara tangan dan kaki mereka dan tidak akan mendurhakaimu dalam urusan yang baik, maka terimalah janji setia mereka dan mohonkanlah ampunan kepada Allah untuk mereka. Sesungguhnya Allah Maha Pengampun lagi Maha Penyayang.
Melayu 12:	Wahai Nabi! Apabila orang-orang perempuan yang beriman datang kepadamu untuk memberi pengakuan taat setia, bahawa mereka tidak akan melakukan syirik kepada Allah dengan sesuatu pun dan mereka tidak akan mencuri dan mereka tidak akan berzina dan mereka tidak akan membunuh anak-anaknya dan mereka tidak akan melakukan sesuatu perkara dusta yang mereka ada-adakan dari kemahuan hati mereka, dan mereka tidak akan menderhaka kepadamu dalam sesuatu perkara yang baik, maka terimalah pengakuan taat setia mereka dan pohonkanlah kepada Allah mengampuni dosa mereka; sesungguhnya Allah Maha Pengampun, lagi Maha Mengasihani.
German 12:	O Prophet! Wenn gläubige Frauen zu dir kommen und dir den Treueeid leisten, daß sie Allah nichts zur Seite stellen, und daß sie weder stehlen noch Unzucht begehen, noch ihre Kinder töten, noch Untreue begehen zwischen ihren Händen und Beinen, die sie selbst wissentlich ersonnen haben, noch dir ungehorsam sein werden in dem, was rechtens ist, dann nimm ihren Treueeid an und bitte Allah um Vergebung für sie. Wahrlich, Allah ist Allvergebend, Barmherzig.
Russian 12:	О Пророк! Если к тебе придут верующие женщины, чтобы присягнуть в том, что они не будут приобщать сотоварищей к Аллаху, красть, прелюбодействовать, убивать своих детей, покрывать клеветой то, что между их руками и ногами, и ослушаться тебя в благих делах, то прими их присягу и попроси у Аллаха прощения для них. Воистину, Аллах – Прощающий, Милосердный.
Bosnian 12:	O vjerovjesniče, kada ti dođu vjernice da ti polože prisegu: da neće Allahu nikoga ravnim smatrati, i da neće krasti, i da neće bludničiti, i da neće djecu svoju ubijati, i da neće muževima tuđu djecu podmetati i da neće ni u čemu što je dobro poslušnost odricati - ti prisegu njihovu prihvati i moli Allaha da im oprosti; Allah, zaista, mnogo prašta, i On je milostiv.
Urdu 12:	اے نبی جب آپ کے پاس ایمان والی عورتیں اس بات پر بیعت کرنے کو آئیں کہ الله کے ساتھ کسی کو شریک نہ کرینگی اور نہ چوری کریں گی اور نہ زنا کریں گی اور نہ اپنی اولاد کو قتل کریں گی اور نہ بہتان کی اولاد لائیں گی جسے اپنے ہاتھوں اور پاؤں کے درمیان (نطفہٴ شوہر سے جنی ہوئی) بنا لیں اور نہ کسی نیک بات میں آپ کی نافرمانی کریں گی تو ان کی بیعت قبول کر اور ان کے لیے الله سے بخشش مانگ بے شک الله بخشنے والا نہایت رحم والا ہے
13	يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَتَوَلَّوْا قَوْمًا غَضِبَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ قَدْ يَئِسُوا مِنَ الْآخِرَةِ كَمَا يَئِسَ الْكُفَّارُ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ الْقُبُورِ
Transliteration 13:	Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo la tatawallaw qawman ghadiba Allahu AAalayhim qad yaisoo mina alakhirati kama yaisa alkuffaru min ashabi alquboori
Yusuf Ali 13:	O ye who believe! Turn not (for friendship) to people on whom is the Wrath of Allah, of the Hereafter they are already in despair, just as the Unbelievers are in despair about those (buried) in graves.
Shakir 13:	O you who believe! do not make friends with a people with whom Allah is wroth; indeed they despair of the hereafter as the unbelievers despair of those in tombs.
Pickthal 13:	O ye who believe! Be not friendly with a folk with whom Allah is wroth, (a folk) who have despaired of the Hereafter as the disbelievers despair of those who are in the graves.
Mohsin Khan: 13:	O you who believe! Take not as friends the people who incurred the Wrath of Allah (i.e. the Jews). Surely, they have despaired of (receiving any good in) the Hereafter, just as the disbelievers have despaired of those (buried) in graves (that they will not be resurrected on the Day of Resurrection).
French 13:	Ô vous qui avez cru! Ne prenez pas pour alliés des gens contre lesquels Allah est courroucé et qui désespèrent de l'au-delà, tout comme les mécréants désespèrent des gens des tombeaux.
Spanish 13:	¡Creyentes! ¡No toméis como amigos a gente que ha incurrido en la ira de Alá! Desesperan de la otra vida, como los infieles desesperan de los sepultados.
Indonesian 13:	Hai orang-orang yang beriman, janganlah kamu jadikan penolongmu kaum yang dimurkai Allah, sesungguhnya mereka telah putus asa terhadap negeri akhirat sebagaimana orang-orang kafir yang telah berada dalam kubur berputus asa.
Melayu 13:	Wahai orang-orang yang beriman! Janganlah kamu jadikan teman rapat mana-mana kaum yang dimurkai Allah, mereka telah berputus asa daripada mendapat kebaikan akhirat, sebagaimana berputus asanya orang-orang kafir yang ada di dalam kubur.
German 13:	O ihr, die ihr glaubt, schließt keine Freundschaft mit einem Volk, dem Allah zürnt; denn sie haben die Hoffnung auf das Jenseits gerade so aufgegeben, wie die Ungläubigen die Hoffnung auf die Wiederbelebung derer aufgegeben haben, die in den Gräbern liegen.
Russian 13:	О те, которые уверовали! Не дружите с теми, на кого разгневался Аллах. Они потеряли надежду на Последнюю жизнь, как потеряли ее неуверовавшие обитатели могил (или как неверующие потеряли надежду на воскрешение обитателей могил).
Bosnian 13:	O vjernici, ne prijateljujte s ljudima koji su protiv sebe Allahovu srdžbu izazvali; oni su izgubili nadu da će bilo kakvu nagradu na ovome svijetu imati, isto kao što su izgubili nadu nevjernici da će se njihovi umrli živi vratiti.
Urdu 13:	اے ایمان والو اس قوم سے دوستی نہ کرو جن پر الله کا غضب ہوا وہ تو آخرت سے ایسے نا امید ہو گئے کہ جیسے کافر اہلِ قبور سے نا امید ہو گئے
