| Transliteration 1: | Qad samiAAa Allahu qawla allatee tujadiluka fee zawjiha watashtakee ila Allahi waAllahu yasmaAAu tahawurakuma inna Allaha sameeAAun baseerun | |
| Yusuf Ali 1: | Allah has indeed heard (and accepted) the statement of the woman who pleads with thee concerning her husband and carries her complaint (in prayer) to Allah. and Allah (always) hears the arguments between both sides among you: for Allah hears and sees (all things). | |

| Yusuf Ali 2: | If any men among you divorce their wives by Zihar (calling them mothers), they cannot be their mothers: None can be their mothers except those who gave them birth. And in fact they use words (both) iniquitous and false: but truly Allah is one that blots out (sins), and forgives (again and again). | |

| Yusuf Ali 3: | But those who divorce their wives by Zihar, then wish to go back on the words they uttered,- (It is ordained that such a one) should free a slave before they touch each other: Thus are ye admonished to perform: and Allah is well-acquainted with (all) that ye do. | |

| Transliteration 4: | Faman lam yajid fasiyamu shahrayni mutatabiAAayni min qabli an yatamassa faman lam yastatiAA faitAAamu sitteena miskeenan thalika lituminoo biAllahi warasoolihi watilka hudoodu Allahi walilkafireena AAathabun aleemun | |
| Yusuf Ali 4: | And if any has not (the wherewithal), he should fast for two months consecutively before they touch each other. But if any is unable to do so, he should feed sixty indigent ones, this, that ye may show your faith in Allah and His Messenger. Those are limits (set by) Allah. For those who reject (Him), there is a grievous Penalty. | |

| Transliteration 5: | Inna allatheena yuhaddoona Allaha warasoolahu kubitoo kama kubita allatheena min qablihim waqad anzalna ayatin bayyinatin walilkafireena AAathabun muheenun | |
| Yusuf Ali 5: | Those who resist Allah and His Messenger will be humbled to dust, as were those before them: for We have already sent down Clear Signs. And the Unbelievers (will have) a humiliating Penalty,- | |
| Shakir 5: | Surely those who act in opposition to Allah and His Messenger shall be laid down prostrate as those before them were laid down prostrate; and indeed We have revealed clear communications, and the unbelievers shall have an abasing chastisement. | |

| Transliteration 6: | Yawma yabAAathuhumu Allahu jameeAAan fayunabbiohum bima AAamiloo ahsahu Allahu wanasoohu waAllahu AAala kulli shayin shaheedun | |
| Yusuf Ali 6: | On the Day that Allah will raise them all up (again) and show them the Truth (and meaning) of their conduct. Allah has reckoned its (value), though they may have forgotten it, for Allah is Witness to all things. | |
| Shakir 6: | On the day when Allah will raise them up all together, then inform them of what they did: Allah has recorded it while they have forgotten it; and Allah is a witness of all things. | |

| Yusuf Ali 11: | O ye who believe! When ye are told to make room in the assemblies, (spread out and) make room: (ample) room will Allah provide for you. And when ye are told to rise up, rise up Allah will rise up, to (suitable) ranks (and degrees), those of you who believe and who have been granted (mystic) Knowledge. And Allah is well- acquainted with all ye do. | |
| Shakir 11: | O you who believe! when it is said to you, Make room in (your) assemblies, then make ample room, Allah will give you ample, and when it is said: Rise up, then rise up. Dan apabila dikatakan: "Berdirilah kamu, maka berdirilah, niscaya Allah akan meninggikan orang-orang yang beriman di antaramu dan orang-orang yang diberi ilmu pengetahuan beberapa derajat. | Transliteration 12: | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo itha najaytumu alrrasoola faqaddimoo bayna yaday najwakum sadaqatan thalika khayrun lakum waatharu fain lam tajidoo fainna Allaha ghafoorun raheemun | |
| Yusuf Ali 12: | O ye who believe! When ye consult the Messenger in private, spend something in charity before your private consultation. That will be best for you, and most conducive to purity (of conduct). But if ye find not (the wherewithal), Allah is Oft- Forgiving, Most Merciful. | |
| Shakir 12: | O you who believe! when you consult the Messenger, then offer something in charity before your consultation; that is better for you and purer; but if you do not find, then surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. | |

| Transliteration 13: | Aashfaqtum an tuqaddimoo bayna yaday najwakum sadaqatin faith lam tafAAaloo wataba Allahu AAalaykum faaqeemoo alssalata waatoo alzzakata waateeAAoo Allaha warasoolahu waAllahu khabeerun bima taAAmaloona | |
| Yusuf Ali 13: | Is it that ye are afraid of spending sums in charity before your private consultation (with him)? If, then, ye do not so, and Allah forgives you, then (at least) establish regular prayer; practise regular charity; and obey Allah and His Messenger. And Allah is well-acquainted with all that ye do. | |
| Shakir 13: | Do you fear that you will not (be able to) give in charity before your consultation? So when you do not do it and Allah has turned to you (mercifully), then keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate and obey Allah and His Messenger; and Allah is Aware of what you do. | |

| Yusuf Ali 14: | Turnest thou not thy attention to those who turn (in friendship) to such as have the Wrath of Allah upon them? They are neither of you nor of them, and they swear to falsehood knowingly. | |

| Yusuf Ali 16: | They have made their oaths a screen (for their misdeeds): thus they obstruct (men) from the Path of Allah. therefore shall they have a humiliating Penalty. | |
| Shakir 16: | They make their oaths to serve as a cover so they turn away from Allah's way; therefore they shall have an abasing chastisement. | |

| Transliteration 17: | Lan tughniya AAanhum amwaluhum wala awladuhum mina Allahi shayan olaika ashabu alnnari hum feeha khalidoona | |
| Yusuf Ali 17: | Of no profit whatever to them, against Allah, will be their riches nor their sons: they will be Companions of the Fire, to dwell therein (for aye)! | |
| Shakir 17: | Neither their wealth nor their children shall avail them aught against Allah; they are the inmates of the fire, therein they shall abide. | |

| 18 | يَوْمَ يَبْعَثُهُمُ اللَّهُ جَمِيعًا فَيَحْلِفُونَ لَهُ كَمَا يَحْلِفُونَ لَكُمْ ۖ وَيَحْسَبُونَ أَنَّهُمْ عَلَىٰ شَيْءٍ ۚ أَلَا إِنَّهُمْ هُمُ الْكَاذِبُونَ | |
| Transliteration 18: | Yawma yabAAathuhumu Allahu jameeAAan fayahlifoona lahu kama yahlifoona lakum wayahsaboona annahum AAala shayin ala innahum humu alkathiboona | |
| Yusuf Ali 18: | One day will Allah raise them all up (for Judgment): then will they swear to Him as they swear to you: And they think that they have something (to stand upon). No, indeed! they are but liars! | |
| Shakir 18: | On the day that Allah will raise them up all, then they will swear to Him as they swear to you, and they think that they have something; now surely they are the liars. | |
| Pickthal 18: | On the day when Allah will raise them all together, then will they swear unto Him as they (now) swear unto you, and they will fancy that they have some standing. Lo! is it not they who are the liars? | |

Ketahuilah, bahwa sesungguhnya merekalah orang-orang pendusta. | |
| Melayu 18: | (Setelah nyata kepada orang-orang munafik itu bahawa harta benda dan anak pinaknya tidak dapat memberikan pertolongan), ketika mereka semuanya dibangkitkan oleh Allah (pada hari kiamat), maka mereka bersumpah kepadaNya (bahawa mereka adalah orang-orang mukmin) sebagaimana biasanya mereka bersumpah kepada kamu dan mereka menyangka bahawa (dengan berbuat demikian) mereka akan mendapat sesuatu (yang berfaedah kepada mereka). Ketahuilah! Bahawa sesungguhnya merekalah golongan pendusta. | |
| German 18: | Am Tage, wenn Allah sie allesamt versammeln wird, da werden sie Ihm schwören, wie sie euch schwören, und sie werden meinen, sie fußten auf etwas. Wahrlich, sicherlich sind sie es, die zu den Lügnern gehören. | |
| Russian 18: | В тот день, когда Аллах воскресит их всех, они станут клясться перед Ним, подобно тому, как клянутся перед вами, полагая, что это поможет им. Воистину, они – лжецы. | |
| Bosnian 18: | Na Dan u koji ih Allah sve oživi oni će se Njemu zaklinjati, kao što se vama zaklinju, misleći da će im to nešto koristiti. Oni su, doista, pravi lažljivci! | |

| 19 | اسْتَحْوَذَ عَلَيْهِمُ الشَّيْطَانُ فَأَنسَاهُمْ ذِكْرَ اللَّهِ ۚ أُولَـٰئِكَ حِزْبُ الشَّيْطَانِ ۚ أَلَا إِنَّ حِزْبَ الشَّيْطَانِ هُمُ الْخَاسِرُونَ | |
| Transliteration 19: | Istahwatha AAalayhimu alshshaytanu faansahum thikra Allahi olaika hizbu alshshaytani ala inna hizba alshshaytani humu alkhasiroona | |
| Yusuf Ali 19: | The Evil One has got the better of them: so he has made them lose the remembrance of Allah. They are the Party of the Evil One. Truly, it is the Party of the Evil One that will perish! | |
| Shakir 19: | The Shaitan has gained the mastery over them, so he has made them forget the remembrance of Allah; they are the Shaitan's party; now surely the Shaitan's party are the losers. | |
| Pickthal 19: | The devil hath engrossed them and so hath caused them to forget remembrance of Allah. They are the devil's party. Lo! is it not the devil's party who will be the losers? | |

| Transliteration 21: | Kataba Allahu laaghlibanna ana warusulee inna Allaha qawiyyun AAazeezun | |
| Yusuf Ali 21: | Allah has decreed: "It is I and My apostles who must prevail": For Allah is One full of strength, able to enforce His Will. | |

| 22 | لَّا تَجِدُ قَوْمًا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ يُوَادُّونَ مَنْ حَادَّ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ وَلَوْ كَانُوا آبَاءَهُمْ أَوْ أَبْنَاءَهُمْ أَوْ إِخْوَانَهُمْ أَوْ عَشِيرَتَهُمْ ۚ أُولَـٰئِكَ كَتَبَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمُ الْإِيمَانَ وَأَيَّدَهُم بِرُوحٍ مِّنْهُ ۖ وَيُدْخِلُهُمْ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا ۚ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُوا عَنْهُ ۚ أُولَـٰئِكَ حِزْبُ اللَّهِ ۚ أَلَا إِنَّ حِزْبَ اللَّهِ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ | |
| Transliteration 22: | La tajidu qawman yuminoona biAllahi waalyawmi alakhiri yuwaddoona man hadda Allaha warasoolahu walaw kanoo abaahum aw abnaahum aw ikhwanahum aw AAasheeratahum olaika kataba fee quloobihimu aleemana waayyadahum biroohin minhu wayudkhiluhum jannatin tajree min tahtiha alanharu khalideena feeha radiya Allahu AAanhum waradoo AAanhu olaika hizbu Allahi ala inna hizba Allahi humu almuflihoona | |
| Yusuf Ali 22: | Thou wilt not find any people who believe in Allah and the Last Day, loving those who resist Allah and His Messenger, even though they were their fathers or their sons, or their brothers, or their kindred. For such He has written Faith in their hearts, and strengthened them with a spirit from Himself. And He will admit them to Gardens beneath which Rivers flow, to dwell therein (for ever). Allah will be well pleased with them, and they with Him. They are the Party of Allah. Truly it is the Party of Allah that will achieve Felicity. | |
| Shakir 22: | You shall not find a people who believe in Allah and the latter day befriending those who act in opposition to Allah and His Messenger, even though they were their (own) fathers, or their sons, or their brothers, or their kinsfolk; these are they into whose hearts He has impressed faith, and whom He has strengthened with an inspiration from Him: and He will cause them to enter gardens beneath which rivers flow, abiding therein; Allah is well-pleased with them and they are well-pleased with Him these are Allah's party: now surely the party of Allah are the successful ones. | |

As for such, He hath written faith upon their hearts and hath strengthened them with a Spirit from Him, and He will bring them into Gardens underneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide. Allah is well pleased with them, and they are well pleased with Him. They are Allah's party. Lo! is it not Allah's party who are the successful? | |
| Mohsin Khan: 22: | You (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) will not find any people who believe in Allah and the Last Day, making friendship with those who oppose Allah and His Messenger (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم), even though they were their fathers or their sons or their brothers or their kindred (people). For such He has written Faith in their hearts, and strengthened them with Ruh (proofs, light and true guidance) from Himself. And He will admit them to Gardens (Paradise) under which rivers flow to dwell therein (forever). Allah is pleased with them, and they with Him. They are the Party of Allah. Verily, it is the Party of Allah that will be the successful. | |

| Spanish 22: | No encontrarás a gente que crea en Alá y en el último Día y que tenga cariño a quienes se oponen a Alá y a Su Enviado, aunque éstos sean sus padres, sus hijos varones, sus hermanos o los miembros de su misma tribu. He inscrito la fe en sus corazones, les ha fortalecido con un espíritu de Él y les introducirá en jardines por cuyos bajos fluyen arroyos, en los que estarán eternamente. Alá está satisfecho de ellos y ellos lo están de Él. Ésos constituyen el partido de Alá. Y ¿no son los partidarios de Alá los que prosperan? | |
| Indonesian 22: | Kamu tidak akan mendapati sesuatu kaum yang beriman kepada Allah dan hari akhirat, saling berkasih sayang dengan orang-orang yang menentang Allah dan Rasul-Nya, sekalipun orang-orang itu bapak-bapak, atau anak-anak atau saudara-saudara ataupun keluarga mereka. Mereka itulah orang-orang yang Allah telah menanamkan keimanan dalam hati mereka dan menguatkan mereka dengan pertolongan yang datang daripada-Nya. Dan dimasukkan-Nya mereka ke dalam surga yang mengalir di bawahnya sungai-sungai, mereka kekal di dalamnya. Allah ridha terhadap mereka dan merekapun merasa puas terhadap (limpahan rahmat) -Nya. Mereka itulah golongan Allah. Ketahuilah, bahwa sesungguhnya golongan Allah itulah golongan yang beruntung. | |
| Melayu 22: | Engkau tidak akan dapati sesuatu kaum yang beriman kepada Allah dan hari akhirat, tergamak berkasih-mesra dengan orang-orang yang menentang (perintah) Allah dan RasulNya, sekalipun orang-orang yang menentang itu ialah bapa-bapa mereka, atau anak-anak mereka atau saudara-saudara mereka ataupun keluarga mereka. Mereka (yang setia) itu, Allah telah menetapkan iman dalam hati mereka dan telah menguatkan mereka dengan semangat pertolongan daripadaNya dan Dia akan memasukkan mereka ke dalam Syurga yang mengalir di bawahnya beberapa sungai, mereka tetap kekal di dalamnya. Allah reda akan mereka dan mereka reda (serta bersyukur) akan nikmat pemberianNya. Merekalah penyokong-penyokong (agama) Allah. Ketahuilah! Sesungguhnya penyokong-penyokong (agama) Allah itu ialah orang-orang yang berjaya. | |
| German 22: | Du wirst kein Volk finden, das an Allah und an den Jüngsten Tag glaubt und dabei diejenigen liebt, die sich Allah und Seinem Gesandten widersetzen, selbst wenn es ihre Väter wären oder ihre Söhne oder ihre Brüder oder ihre Verwandten. Das sind diejenigen, in deren Herzen Allah den Glauben eingeschrieben hat und die Er mit einem Sieg von Ihm gestärkt hat. Er wird sie in Gärten führen, durch die Bäche fließen. Darin werden sie auf ewig weilen. Allah ist wohl zufrieden mit ihnen, und sie sind wohl zufrieden mit Ihm. Sie sind Allahs Partei. Wahrlich, Allahs Partei ist die erfolgreiche. | |
| Russian 22: | Среди тех, кто верует в Аллаха и в Последний день, ты не найдешь людей, которые любили бы тех, кто враждует с Аллахом и Его Посланником, даже если это будут их отцы, сыновья, братья или родственники. Аллах начертал в их сердцах веру и укрепил их духом от Него. Он введет их в Райские сады, в которых текут реки, и они пребудут там вечно. Аллах доволен ими, и они довольны Им. Они являются партией Аллаха. Воистину, партия Аллаха – это преуспевшие. | |

Njima je On u srca njihova vjerovanje usadio i svjetlom Svojim ih osnažio, i On će ih uvesti u džennetske bašče kroz koje će rijeke teći, da u njima vječno ostanu. Allah je njima zadovoljan, a i oni će biti zadovoljni Njime. Oni su na Allahovoj strani, a oni na Allahovoj strani će, sigurno, uspjeti. | |
| Urdu 22: | آپ ایسی کوئی قوم نہ پائیں گے جو الله اور قیامت کے دن پر ایمان رکھتی ہو اور ان لوگو ں سے بھی دوستی رکھتے ہوں جو الله اور اس کے رسول کی مخالفت کرتے ہیں گو وہ ان کے باپ یا بیٹے یا بھائی یا کنبے کے لوگ ہی کیوں نہ ہوں یہی وہ لوگ ہیں جن کے دلوں میں اللہ نے ایمان لکھ دیا ہے اور ان کو اپنے فیض سے قوت دی ہے اور وہ انہیں بہشتوں میں داخل کرے گا جن کے نیچے نہریں بہہ رہی ہوں گی وہ ان میں ہمیشہ رہیں گے الله ان سے راضی ہوا اور وہ اس سے راضی ہوئے یہی الله کا گروہ ہے خبردار بے شک الله کا گروہ ہی کامیاب ہونے والا ہے | |
