1	وَالصَّافَّاتِ صَفًّا
Transliteration 1:	Waalssaffati saffan
Yusuf Ali 1:	By those who range themselves in ranks,
Shakir 1:	I swear by those who draw themselves out in ranks
Pickthal 1:	By those who set the ranks in battle order
Mohsin Khan: 1:	By those (angels) ranged in ranks (or rows).
French 1:	Par ceux qui sont rangés en rangs.
Spanish 1:	¡Por los puestos en fila.
Indonesian 1:	Demi (rombongan) yang bershaf-shaf dengan sebenar-benarnya ,
Melayu 1:	Demi (hamba-hambaKu) yang berbaris dengan berderet-deret -
German 1:	Bei den Sich-Reihenden in Reihen
Russian 1:	Клянусь выстроившимися в ряды,
Bosnian 1:	Tako Mi onih u redove poredanih
Urdu 1:	صف باندھ کر کھڑے ہونے والو ں کی قسم ہے
2	فَالزَّاجِرَاتِ زَجْرًا
Transliteration 2:	Faalzzajirati zajran
Yusuf Ali 2:	And so are strong in repelling (evil),
Shakir 2:	Then those who drive away with reproof,
Pickthal 2:	And those who drive away (the wicked) with reproof
Mohsin Khan: 2:	By those (angels) who drive the clouds in a good way.
French 2:	Par ceux qui poussent (les nuages) avec force.
Spanish 2:	que ahuyentan violentamente
Indonesian 2:	dan demi (rombongan) yang melarang dengan sebenar-benarnya (dari perbuatan-perbuatan ma'siat),
Melayu 2:	(Hamba-hambaKu) yang melarang (dari kejahatan) dengan sesungguh-sungguhnya -
German 2:	und denen, die grob zurechtweisen
Russian 2:	гонящими упорно,
Bosnian 2:	i onih koji odvraćaju
Urdu 2:	پھر جھڑک کر ڈانٹنے والوں کی
3	فَالتَّالِيَاتِ ذِكْرًا
Transliteration 3:	Faalttaliyati thikran
Yusuf Ali 3:	And thus proclaim the Message (of Allah.!
Shakir 3:	Then those who recite, being mindful,
Pickthal 3:	And those who read (the Word) for a reminder,
Mohsin Khan: 3:	By those (angels) who bring the Book and the Qur'an from Allah to mankind [Tafsir Ibn Kathir].
French 3:	Par ceux qui récitent, en rappel:
Spanish 3:	y recitan una amonestación!
Indonesian 3:	dan demi (rombongan) yang membacakan pelajaran,
Melayu 3:	(Hamba-hambaKu) yang membaca kandungan Kitab Suci;

Bosnian 3:	i onih koji opomenu čitaju -
Urdu 3:	پھر ذکر الہیٰ کے تلاوت کرنے والوں کی
4	إِنَّ إِلَـٰهَكُمْ لَوَاحِدٌ
Transliteration 4:	Inna ilahakum lawahidun
Yusuf Ali 4:	Verily, verily, your Allah is one!-
Shakir 4:	Most surely your Allah is One:
Pickthal 4:	Lo! thy Lord is surely One;
Mohsin Khan: 4:	Verily your Ilah (God) is indeed One (i.e. Allah):
French 4:	‹Votre Dieu est en vérité unique,
Spanish 4:	En verdad, vuestro Dios es Uno:
Indonesian 4:	Sesungguhnya Tuhanmu benar-benar Esa.
Melayu 4:	(Sumpah demi sumpah) sesungguhnya Tuhan kamu hanyalah Satu -
German 4:	Wahrlich, euer Gott ist Einzig,
Russian 4:	Воистину, ваш Бог – Единственный.
Bosnian 4:	vaš Bog je, uistinu, Jedan,
Urdu 4:	البتہ تمہارا معبود ایک ہی ہے
5	رَّبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا وَرَبُّ الْمَشَارِقِ
Transliteration 5:	Rabbu alssamawati waalardi wama baynahuma warabbu almashariqi
Yusuf Ali 5:	Lord of the heavens and of the earth and all between them, and Lord of every point at the rising of the sun!
Shakir 5:	The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, and Lord of the easts.
Pickthal 5:	Lord of the heavens and of the earth and all that is between them, and Lord of the sun's risings.
Mohsin Khan: 5:	Lord of the heavens and of the earth, and all that is between them, and Lord of every point of the sun's risings.
French 5:	le Seigneur des cieux et de la terre et de ce qui existe entre eux et Seigneur des Levants›.
Spanish 5:	Señor de los cielos, de la tierra y de lo que entre ellos está, Señor de los Orientes.
Indonesian 5:	Tuhan langit dan bumi dan apa yang berada di antara keduanya dan Tuhan tempat-tempat terbit matahari.
Melayu 5:	Tuhan (yang mencipta serta mentadbirkan) langit dan bumi dan segala yang ada di antara keduanya dan Tuhan (yang mengatur) tempat-tempat terbit matahari.
German 5:	Herr der Himmel und der Erde und all dessen, was zwischen beiden ist, und der Herr aller Orte der Aufgänge (von Sonne, Mond und Sternen).
Russian 5:	Он – Господь небес, земли и того, что между ними, Господь восходов.
Bosnian 5:	Gospodar nebesa i Zemlje i onoga što je između njih i Gospodar istoka!
Urdu 5:	آسمانوں اور زمین اور اس کے اندر کی سب چیزو ں کا اور مشرقوں کا رب ہے
6	إِنَّا زَيَّنَّا السَّمَاءَ الدُّنْيَا بِزِينَةٍ الْكَوَاكِبِ
Transliteration 6:	Inna zayyanna alssamaa alddunya bizeenatin alkawakibi
Yusuf Ali 6:	We have indeed decked the lower heaven with beauty (in) the stars,-
Shakir 6:	Surely We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment, the stars,
Pickthal 6:	Lo! We have adorned the lowest heaven with an ornament, the planets;
Mohsin Khan: 6:	Verily We have adorned the near heaven with the stars (for beauty).
French 6:	Nous avons décoré le ciel le plus proche d'un décor: les étoiles,
Spanish 6:	Hemos engalanado el cielo más bajo con estrellas,
Indonesian 6:	Sesungguhnya Kami telah menghias langit yang terdekat dengan hiasan, yaitu bintang-bintang,
Melayu 6:	Sesungguhnya Kami telah menghiasi langit yang dekat (pada penglihatan penduduk bumi) dengan hiasan bintang-bintang.
German 6:	Wir haben den untersten Himmel mit einem Schmuck ausgeschmückt: den Sternen,
Russian 6:	Мы украсили ближайшее небо красотой звезд (или звездами)
Bosnian 6:	Mi smo nebo najbliže vama sjajnim zvijezdama okitili
Urdu 6:	ہم نے نیچے کے آسمان کو ستاروں سے سجایا ہے
7	وَحِفْظًا مِّن كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ مَّارِدٍ
Transliteration 7:	Wahifthan min kulli shaytanin maridin
Yusuf Ali 7:	(For beauty) and for guard against all obstinate rebellious evil spirits,
Shakir 7:	And (there is) a safeguard against every rebellious Shaitan.
Pickthal 7:	With security from every froward devil.
Mohsin Khan: 7:	And to guard against every rebellious devil.
French 7:	afin de le protéger contre tout diable rebelle.
Spanish 7:	como protección contra todo demonio rebelde.
Indonesian 7:	dan telah memeliharanya (sebenar-benarnya) dari setiap syaitan yang sangat durhaka,
Melayu 7:	Dan (Kami pelihara urusan langit itu) dengan serapi-rapi kawalan dari (masuk campur) tiap-tiap Syaitan yang derhaka;
German 7:	die einen Schutz vor jedem aufrührerischen Satan bilden.
Russian 7:	и оберегаем его от всякого мятежного дьявола.
Bosnian 7:	i čuvamo ga od svakog šejtana prkosnoga
Urdu 7:	اور اسے ہر ایک سرکش شیطان سے محفوظ رکھا ہے
8	لَّا يَسَّمَّعُونَ إِلَى الْمَلَإِ الْأَعْلَىٰ وَيُقْذَفُونَ مِن كُلِّ جَانِبٍ
Transliteration 8:	La yassammaAAoona ila almalai alaAAla wayuqthafoona min kulli janibin
Yusuf Ali 8:	(So) they should not strain their ears in the direction of the Exalted Assembly but be cast away from every side,
Shakir 8:	They cannot listen to the exalted assembly and they are thrown at from every side,
Pickthal 8:	They cannot listen to the Highest Chiefs for they are pelted from every side,
Mohsin Khan: 8:	They cannot listen to the higher group (angels) for they are pelted from every side.
French 8:	Ils ne pourront être à l'écoute des dignitaires suprêmes [les Anges]; car ils seront harcelés de tout còté,
Spanish 8:	Así, los demonios no pueden oír al Consejo Supremo, porque por todas partes se ven hostigados,
Indonesian 8:	syaitan-syaitan itu tidak dapat mendengar-dengarkan (pembicaraan) para malaikat dan mereka dilempari dari segala penjuru.
Melayu 8:	(Dengan itu) mereka tidak dapat memasang telinga mendengar (percakapan malaikat) penduduk langit dan mereka pula direjam (dengan api) dari segala arah dan penjuru,
German 8:	Sie können nichts bei den höheren Bewohnern erlauschen, und sie werden von allen Seiten beworfen
Russian 8:	Они не могут прислушаться к высшему сонму, и их забрасывают со всех сторон,
Bosnian 8:	da ne prisluškuje meleke uzvišene; njih sa svih strana gađaju
Urdu 8:	وہ عالم بالا کی باتیں نہیں سن سکتے اور ان پر ہر طرف سے (انگارے) پھینکے جاتے ہیں
9	دُحُورًا ۖ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ وَاصِبٌ
Transliteration 9:	Duhooran walahum AAathabun wasibun
Yusuf Ali 9:	Repulsed, for they are under a perpetual penalty,
Shakir 9:	Being driven off, and for them is a perpetual chastisement,
Pickthal 9:	Outcast, and theirs is a perpetual torment;
Mohsin Khan: 9:	Outcast, and theirs is a constant (or painful) torment.
French 9:	et refoulés. Et ils auront un châtiment perpétuel.
Spanish 9:	repelidos. Tendrán un castigo perpetuo.
Indonesian 9:	Untuk mengusir mereka dan bagi mereka siksaan yang kekal,
Melayu 9:	Untuk mengusir mereka dan mereka pula beroleh azab seksa yang tidak putus-putus.
German 9:	als Ausgestoßene; und für sie ist eine dauernde Strafe (vorgesehen) -
Russian 9:	чтобы изгнать оттуда. Им уготованы вечные мучения.
Bosnian 9:	da ih otjeraju: njih čeka patnja neprekidna,
Urdu 9:	بھگانے کے لیے اور ان پر ہمیشہ کا عذاب ہے
10	إِلَّا مَنْ خَطِفَ الْخَطْفَةَ فَأَتْبَعَهُ شِهَابٌ ثَاقِبٌ
Transliteration 10:	Illa man khatifa alkhatfata faatbaAAahu shihabun thaqibun
Yusuf Ali 10:	Except such as snatch away something by stealth, and they are pursued by a flaming fire, of piercing brightness.
Shakir 10:	Except him who snatches off but once, then there follows him a brightly shining flame.
Pickthal 10:	Save him who snatcheth a fragment, and there pursueth him a piercing flame.
Mohsin Khan: 10:	Except such as snatch away something by stealing, and they are pursued by a flaming fire of piercing brightness.
French 10:	Sauf celui qui saisit au vol quelque [information]; il est alors pourchassé par un météore transperçant.
Spanish 10:	A menos que alguno se entere de algo por casualidad: a ese tal le perseguirá una llama de penetrante luz.
Indonesian 10:	akan tetapi barangsiapa (di antara mereka) yang mencuri-curi (pembicaraan); maka ia dikejar oleh suluh api yang cemerlang.
Melayu 10:	Kecuali sesiapa di antara Syaitan-syaitan itu yang curi mendengar mana-mana percakapan (malaikat), maka dia diburu dan diikuti (dengan rejaman) api yang menjulang lagi menembusi.
German 10:	mit Ausnahme dessen, der etwas aufschnappt, doch ihn verfolgt ein durchbohrender Schweifstern.
Russian 10:	Но если кто из дьяволов выхватит слово, то за ним последует яркий пылающий огонь.
Bosnian 10:	a onoga koji što ugrabi - stigne svjetlica blistava.
Urdu 10:	مگر جو کوئی اچک لے جائے تو اس کے پیچھے دہکتا ہوا انگارہ پڑتا ہے
11	فَاسْتَفْتِهِمْ أَهُمْ أَشَدُّ خَلْقًا أَم مَّنْ خَلَقْنَا ۚ إِنَّا خَلَقْنَاهُم مِّن طِينٍ لَّازِبٍ
Transliteration 11:	Faistaftihim ahum ashaddu khalqan am man khalaqna inna khalaqnahum min teenin lazibin
Yusuf Ali 11:	Just ask their opinion: are they the more difficult to create, or the (other) beings We have created? Them have We created out of a sticky clay!
Shakir 11:	Then ask them whether they are stronger in creation or those (others) whom We have created. Surely We created them of firm clay.
Pickthal 11:	Then ask them (O Muhammad): Are they stronger as a creation, or those (others) whom we have created? Lo! We created them of plastic clay.
Mohsin Khan: 11:	Then ask them (i.e. these polytheists, O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم): "Are they stronger as creation, or those (others like the heavens and the earth and the mountains) whom We have created?" Verily, We created them of a sticky clay.
French 11:	Demande-leur s'ils sont plus difficiles à créer que ceux que Nous avons créés? Car Nous les avons créés de boue collante !
Spanish 11:	Pregúntales si crearlos a ellos ha resultado más difícil para Nosotros que crear a los otros. Los hemos creado de arcilla pegajosa.
Indonesian 11:	Maka tanyakanlah kepada mereka (musyrik Mekah): "Apakah mereka yang lebih kokoh kejadiannya ataukah apa yang telah Kami ciptakan itu?" Sesungguhnya Kami telah menciptakan mereka dari tanah liat.
Melayu 11:	(Setelah nyata kekuasaan Kami) maka bertanyalah (wahai Muhammad) kepada mereka (yang ingkarkan hidupnya semula orang-orang mati): Adakah diri mereka lebih sukar hendak diciptakan atau makhluk-makhluk lain yang Kami telah ciptakan? Sesungguhnya Kami telah mencipta mereka dari tanah liat (yang senang diubah dan diciptakan semula).
German 11:	Frage sie darum, ob sie schwerer zu erschaffen sind oder die, die Wir erschaffen haben? Denn Wir haben sie aus formbarem Lehm erschaffen.
Russian 11:	Спроси их (людей), они созданы прочнее или то, что Мы сотворили? Воистину, Мы сотворили их из липкой глины.
Bosnian 11:	Upitaj ih da li je teže njih stvoriti ili sve ostalo što smo stvorili? - Njih stvaramo od ljepljive ilovače.
Urdu 11:	پس ان سے پوچھیئے کیا ان کا بنانا زیادہ مشکل ہے یا ان کا جنہیں ہم نے پیدا کیا ہے بے شک ہم نے انہیں لیسدار مٹی سے پیدا کیا ہے
12	بَلْ عَجِبْتَ وَيَسْخَرُونَ
Transliteration 12:	Bal AAajibta wayaskharoona
Yusuf Ali 12:	Truly dost thou marvel, while they ridicule,
Shakir 12:	Nay! you wonder while they mock,
Pickthal 12:	Nay, but thou dost marvel when they mock
Mohsin Khan: 12:	Nay, you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) wondered (at their insolence) while they mock (at you and at the Qur'an).
French 12:	Mais tu t'étonnes, et ils se moquent!
Spanish 12:	Pero ¡no! Te asombras y ellos se mofan.
Indonesian 12:	Bahkan kamu menjadi heran (terhadap keingkaran mereka) dan mereka menghinakan kamu.
Melayu 12:	(Pertanyaan itu tidak juga berfaedah kepada mereka) bahkan engkau merasa hairan (terhadap keingkaran mereka) dan sebaliknya mereka mengejek-ejek (peneranganmu).
German 12:	Nein, du staunst, und sie spotten.
Russian 12:	Но ты удивлен, а они глумятся.
Bosnian 12:	Ti se diviš a oni se rugaju,
Urdu 12:	بلکہ آپ نے تو تعجب کیاہے اور وہ ٹھٹھا کرتے ہیں
13	وَإِذَا ذُكِّرُوا لَا يَذْكُرُونَ
Transliteration 13:	Waitha thukkiroo la yathkuroona
Yusuf Ali 13:	And, when they are admonished, pay no heed,-
Shakir 13:	And when they are reminded, they mind not,
Pickthal 13:	And heed not when they are reminded,
Mohsin Khan: 13:	And when they are reminded, they pay no attention.
French 13:	Et quand on le leur rappelle (le Coran), ils ne se rappellent pas;
Spanish 13:	Si se les recuerda algo, no se acuerdan.
Indonesian 13:	Dan apabila mereka diberi pelajaran mereka tiada mengingatnya.
Melayu 13:	Dan apabila diperingatkan, mereka tetap tidak mahu menerima peringatan itu.
German 13:	Und wenn sie ermahnt werden, so beachten sie es nicht.
Russian 13:	Когда же им напоминают, они отказываются помнить.
Bosnian 13:	a kada im se savjeti upućuju oni ih ne prihvaćaju,
Urdu 13:	اور جب انہیں نصیحت کی جاتی ہے تو قبول نہیں کرتے
14	وَإِذَا رَأَوْا آيَةً يَسْتَسْخِرُونَ
Transliteration 14:	Waitha raaw ayatan yastaskhiroona
Yusuf Ali 14:	And, when they see a Sign, turn it to mockery,
Shakir 14:	And when they see a sign they incite one another to scoff,
Pickthal 14:	And seek to scoff when they behold a portent.
Mohsin Khan: 14:	And when they see an Ayah (a sign, or an evidence) from Allah, they mock at it.
French 14:	et quand ils voient un prodige, ils cherchent à s'en moquer,
Spanish 14:	Y, si ven un signo, lo ponen en ridículo,
Indonesian 14:	Dan apabila mereka melihat sesuatu tanda kebesaran Allah, mereka sangat menghinakan.
Melayu 14:	Dan apabila mereka melihat sesuatu tanda (yang membuktikan kekuasaan Kami dan kebenaranmu), mereka mencari-cari jalan memperolok-olokkannya, -
German 14:	Und wenn sie ein Zeichen sehen, so verdrehen sie es zu Spott,
Russian 14:	Когда же они видят знамение, то высмеивают его.
Bosnian 14:	i kad dokaz vide, oni jedni druge na ismijavanje podstiču,
Urdu 14:	اور جب کوئی معجزہ دیکھتے ہیں تو ہسنی کرتے ہیں
15	وَقَالُوا إِنْ هَـٰذَا إِلَّا سِحْرٌ مُّبِينٌ
Transliteration 15:	Waqaloo in hatha illa sihrun mubeenun
Yusuf Ali 15:	And say, "This is nothing but evident sorcery!
Shakir 15:	And they say: This is nothing but clear magic:
Pickthal 15:	And they say: Lo! this is mere magic;
Mohsin Khan: 15:	And they say: "This is nothing but evident magic!
French 15:	et disent: ‹Ceci n'est que magie évidente.
Spanish 15:	y dicen: "¡Esto no es sino manifiesta magia!
Indonesian 15:	Dan mereka berkata: "Ini tiada lain hanyalah sihir yang nyata.
Melayu 15:	Serta mereka berkata: Ini tidak lain hanyalah sihir yang nyata.
German 15:	"und sie sagen: ""Das ist nichts als offenkundige Zauberei.
Russian 15:	Они говорят: «Это – всего лишь очевидное колдовство.
Bosnian 15:	i govore: "Ovo nije ništa drugo do prava čarolija!
Urdu 15:	اور کہتے ہیں یہ تو محض صریح جادو ہے
16	أَإِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًا وَعِظَامًا أَإِنَّا لَمَبْعُوثُونَ
Transliteration 16:	Aitha mitna wakunna turaban waAAithaman ainna lamabAAoothoona
Yusuf Ali 16:	"What! when we die, and become dust and bones, shall we (then) be raised up (again)
Shakir 16:	What! when we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then certainly be raised,
Pickthal 16:	When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then, forsooth, be raised (again)?
Mohsin Khan: 16:	"When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we (then) verily be resurrected?
French 16:	Lorsque nous serons morts et que nous deviendrons poussière et ossements, serons-nous ressuscités?
Spanish 16:	Cuando muramos y seamos tierra y huesos, ¿se nos resucitará acaso?
Indonesian 16:	Apakah apabila kami telah mati dan telah menjadi tanah serta menjadi tulang belulang, apakah benar-benar kami akan dibangkitkan (kembali)?
Melayu 16:	Adakah sesudah kita mati serta menjadi tanah dan tulang, adakah kita akan dibangkitkan hidup semula?
German 16:	"Wie? Wenn wir tot sind und zu Staub und Gebeinen geworden sind, dann sollen wir wieder auferweckt werden?
Russian 16:	Неужели мы будем воскрешены после того, как умрем и станем прахом и костями?
Bosnian 16:	Zar kada poumiremo i kada kosti i zemlja postanemo, zar ćemo mi, zaista, biti oživljeni
Urdu 16:	کیا جب ہم مر جائیں گے اور مٹی اور ہڈیاں ہو جائیں گے تو کیا ہم پھر اٹھائے جائیں گے
17	أَوَآبَاؤُنَا الْأَوَّلُونَ
Transliteration 17:	Awa abaona alawwaloona
Yusuf Ali 17:	"And also our fathers of old?"
Shakir 17:	Or our fathers of yore?
Pickthal 17:	And our forefathers?
Mohsin Khan: 17:	"And also our fathers of old?"
French 17:	ainsi que nos premiers ancêtres?›
Spanish 17:	¿Y también a nuestros antepasados?"
Indonesian 17:	Dan apakah bapak-bapak kami yang telah terdahulu (akan dibangkitkan pula)"?
Melayu 17:	Dan adakah juga datuk nenek kita yang telah lalu (akan dibangkitkan hidup semula)?
German 17:	"Oder etwa unsere Vorväter?""
Russian 17:	Или же наши отцы?»
Bosnian 17:	i naši preci davni?"
Urdu 17:	اور کیا ہمارے پہلے باپ دادا بھی
18	قُلْ نَعَمْ وَأَنتُمْ دَاخِرُونَ
Transliteration 18:	Qul naAAam waantum dakhiroona
Yusuf Ali 18:	Say thou: "Yea, and ye shall then be humiliated (on account of your evil)."
Shakir 18:	Say: Aye! and you shall be abject.
Pickthal 18:	Say (O Muhammad): Ye, in truth; and ye will be brought low.
Mohsin Khan: 18:	Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم): "Yes, and you shall then be humiliated."
French 18:	Dis: ‹Oui! et vous vous humilierez›.
Spanish 18:	Di: "¡Sí, y vosotros os humillaréis!"
Indonesian 18:	Katakanlah: "Ya, dan kamu akan terhina".
Melayu 18:	Jawablah (wahai Muhammad): Ya, benar !(Kamu semua akan dibangkitkan) dengan keadaan hina-dina.
German 18:	""Sprich: ""Jawohl; und dabei werdet ihr gedemütigt.""
Russian 18:	Скажи: «Да, и вы будете унижены!»
Bosnian 18:	Reci: "Da, a bićete i poniženi!"
Urdu 18:	کہہ دو ہاں اور تم ذلیل ہونے والے ہوگے
19	فَإِنَّمَا هِيَ زَجْرَةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ فَإِذَا هُمْ يَنظُرُونَ
Transliteration 19:	Fainnama hiya zajratun wahidatun faitha hum yanthuroona
Yusuf Ali 19:	Then it will be a single (compelling) cry; and behold, they will begin to see!
Shakir 19:	So it shall only be a single cry, when lo! they shall see.

Urdu 19:	پس وہ تو ایک زور کی آواز ہو گی پس ناگہان وہ دیکھنے لگیں گے
20	وَقَالُوا يَا وَيْلَنَا هَـٰذَا يَوْمُ الدِّينِ
Transliteration 20:	Waqaloo ya waylana hatha yawmu alddeeni
Yusuf Ali 20:	They will say, "Ah! Woe to us! This is the Day of Judgment!"
Shakir 20:	And they shall say: O woe to us! this is the day of requital.
Pickthal 20:	And say: Ah, woe for us! This is the Day of Judgment.
Mohsin Khan: 20:	They will say: "Woe to us! This is the Day of Recompense!"
French 20:	et ils diront: ‹Malheur à nous! c'est le jour de la Rétribution›.
Spanish 20:	Dirán: "¡Ay de nosotros! ¡Este es el día del Juicio!"

21	هَـٰذَا يَوْمُ الْفَصْلِ الَّذِي كُنتُم بِهِ تُكَذِّبُونَ
Transliteration 21:	Hatha yawmu alfasli allathee kuntum bihi tukaththiboona
Yusuf Ali 21:	(A voice will say,) "This is the Day of Sorting Out, whose truth ye (once) denied!"
Shakir 21:	This is the day of the judgment which you called a lie.
Pickthal 21:	This is the Day of Separation, which ye used to deny.
Mohsin Khan: 21:	(It will be said): "This is the Day of Judgement which you used to deny."
French 21:	‹C'est le jour du Jugement que vous traitiez de mensonge›.

22	۞ احْشُرُوا الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا وَأَزْوَاجَهُمْ وَمَا كَانُوا يَعْبُدُونَ
Transliteration 22:	Ohshuroo allatheena thalamoo waazwajahum wama kanoo yaAAbudoona
Yusuf Ali 22:	"Bring ye up", it shall be said, "The wrong-doers and their wives, and the things they worshipped-
Shakir 22:	Gather together those who were unjust and their associates, and what they used to worship
Pickthal 22:	(And it is said unto the angels): Assemble those who did wrong, together with their wives and what they used to worship
Mohsin Khan: 22:	(It will be said to the angels): "Assemble those who did wrong, together with their companions (from the devils) and what they used to worship,

Transliteration 23:	Min dooni Allahi faihdoohum ila sirati aljaheemi
Yusuf Ali 23:	"Besides Allah, and lead them to the Way to the (Fierce) Fire!
Shakir 23:	Besides Allah, then lead them to the way to hell.
Pickthal 23:	Instead of Allah, and lead them to the path to hell;
Mohsin Khan: 23:	"Instead of Allah, and lead them on to the way of flaming Fire (Hell);
French 23:	en dehors d'Allah. Puis conduisez-les au chemin de la Fournaise.

Pickthal 24:	And stop them, for they must be questioned.

Yusuf Ali 25:	"'What is the matter with you that ye help not each other?'"
Shakir 25:	What is the matter with you that you do not help each other?
Pickthal 25:	What aileth you that ye help not one another?
Mohsin Khan: 25:	"What is the matter with you? Why do you not help one another (as you used to do in the world)?"

Yusuf Ali 26:	Nay, but that day they shall submit (to Judgment);
Shakir 26:	Nay! on that day they shall be submissive.
Pickthal 26:	Nay, but this day they make full submission.
Mohsin Khan: 26:	Nay, but that Day they shall surrender.
French 26:	Mais ce jour-là, ils seront complètement soumis,

27	وَأَقْبَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ يَتَسَاءَلُونَ
Transliteration 27:	Waaqbala baAAduhum AAala baAAdin yatasaaloona
Yusuf Ali 27:	And they will turn to one another, and question one another.
Shakir 27:	And some of them shall advance towards others, questioning each other.
Pickthal 27:	And some of them draw near unto others, mutually questioning.
Mohsin Khan: 27:	And they will turn to one another and question one another.
French 27:	et les uns se tourneront vers les autres s'interrogeant mutuellement;
Spanish 27:	Y se volverán unos a otros para preguntarse.
Indonesian 27:	Sebahagian dari mereka menghadap kepada sebahagian yang lain berbantah-bantahan.

Urdu 27:	اور ایک دوسرے کی طرف متوجہ ہو کر پوچھے گا
28	قَالُوا إِنَّكُمْ كُنتُمْ تَأْتُونَنَا عَنِ الْيَمِينِ
Transliteration 28:	Qaloo innakum kuntum tatoonana AAani alyameeni
Yusuf Ali 28:	They will say: "It was ye who used to come to us from the right hand (of power and authority)!"
Shakir 28:	They shall say: Surely you used to come to us from the right side.
Pickthal 28:	They say: Lo! ye used to come unto us, imposing, (swearing that ye spoke the truth).
Mohsin Khan: 28:	They will say: "It was you who used to come to us from the right side [i.e. from the right side of one of us and beautify for us every evil, enjoin on us polytheism, and stop us from the truth i.e. Islamic Monotheism and from every good deed]."
French 28:	Ils diront: ‹C'est vous qui nous forciez (à la mécréance)›.
Spanish 28:	Dirán: "Venías a nosotros por la derecha".
Indonesian 28:	Pengikut-pengikut mereka berkata (kepada pemimpin-pemimpin mereka): "Sesungguhnya kamulah yang datang kepada kami dari kanan".
Melayu 28:	Pengikut-pengikut berkata (kepada ketuanya): Sesungguhnya kamu dahulu selalu datang menyekat kami (daripada beriman) dengan menggunakan kuasa kamu.
German 28:	"Sie werden sagen: ""Wahrlich, ihr pflegtet von rechts zu uns zu kommen.""
Russian 28:	Они скажут: «Вы приходили к нам справа».
Bosnian 28:	"Vi ste nas varali"
Urdu 28:	کہیں گے بے شک تم ہمارے پاس دائیں طرف سے آتے تھے
29	قَالُوا بَل لَّمْ تَكُونُوا مُؤْمِنِينَ
Transliteration 29:	Qaloo bal lam takoonoo mumineena
Yusuf Ali 29:	They will reply: "Nay, ye yourselves had no Faith!
Shakir 29:	They shall say: Nay, you (yourselves) were not believers;
Pickthal 29:	They answer: Nay, but ye (yourselves) were not believers.
Mohsin Khan: 29:	They will reply: "Nay, you yourselves were not believers.
French 29:	‹C'est vous plutòt (diront les chefs) qui ne vouliez pas croire.
Spanish 29:	Dirán: "¡No, no erais creyentes!
Indonesian 29:	Pemimpin-pemimpin mereka menjawab: "Sebenarnya kamulah yang tidak beriman".
Melayu 29:	Ketua-ketuanya menjawab: (Tidak!) Bahkan kamulah sendiri tidak mahu menjadi orang-orang yang beriman!
German 29:	""Jene werden antworten: ""Nein, ihr waret selbst keine Gläubigen.
Russian 29:	Они ответят: «О нет! Вы сами не были верующими.
Bosnian 29:	"Nismo" - odgovoriće - "nego vi niste htjeli vjerovati,
Urdu 29:	کہیں گے بلکہ تم خود ہی ایمان والے نہیں تھے
30	وَمَا كَانَ لَنَا عَلَيْكُم مِّن سُلْطَانٍ ۖ بَلْ كُنتُمْ قَوْمًا طَاغِينَ
Transliteration 30:	Wama kana lana AAalaykum min sultanin bal kuntum qawman tagheena
Yusuf Ali 30:	"Nor had we any authority over you. Nay, it was ye who were a people in obstinate rebellion!
Shakir 30:	And we had no authority over you, but you were an inordinate people;
Pickthal 30:	We had no power over you, but ye were wayward folk.
Mohsin Khan: 30:	"And we had no authority over you. Nay! But you were Taghun (transgressing) people (polytheists, and disbelievers).
French 30:	Et nous n'avions aucun pouvoir sur vous. C'est vous plutòt qui étiez des gens transgresseurs.
Spanish 30:	Y no teníamos ningún poder sobre vosotros. ¡No! Erais un pueblo rebelde.
Indonesian 30:	Dan sekali-kali kami tidak berkuasa terhadapmu, bahkan kamulah kaum yang melampaui batas.
Melayu 30:	Dan kami (selain daripada mengajak kamu (tidak mempunyai sebarang kuasa memerintah kamu, bahkan kamu sememangnya kaum yang melampaui batas.
German 30:	"Und wir hatten keine Macht über euch; ihr aber waret ein gewalttätiges Volk.
Russian 30:	Мы не обладали властью над вами. Вы сами были людьми, преступавшими границы дозволенного.
Bosnian 30:	a nikakve vlasti nad vama nismo imali, obijestan narod ste bili
Urdu 30:	اور ہمیں تم پر کوئی زور نہیں تھا بلکہ تم ہی سرکش لوگ تھے
31	فَحَقَّ عَلَيْنَا قَوْلُ رَبِّنَا ۖ إِنَّا لَذَائِقُونَ
Transliteration 31:	Fahaqqa AAalayna qawlu rabbina inna lathaiqoona
Yusuf Ali 31:	"So now has been proved true, against us, the word of our Lord that we shall indeed (have to) taste (the punishment of our sins).
Shakir 31:	So the sentence of our Lord has come to pass against us: (now) we shall surely taste;
Pickthal 31:	Now the Word of our Lord hath been fulfilled concerning us. Lo! we are about to taste (the doom).
Mohsin Khan: 31:	"So now the Word of our Lord has been justified against us, that we shall certainly (have to) taste (the torment).
French 31:	La parole de notre Seigneur s'est donc réalisée contre nous; certes, nous allons goûter [au châtiment].
Spanish 31:	La sentencia de nuestro Señor se ha cumplido contra nosotros. Vamos, sí, a gustar...
Indonesian 31:	Maka pastilah putusan (azab) Tuhan kita menimpa atas kita; sesungguhnya kita akan merasakan (azab itu).
Melayu 31:	(Dengan keadaan diri kita yang sedemikian) maka tetaplah di atas kita janji seksa (yang dijanjikan) oleh Tuhan kita, bahawa kita semua tentu akan merasai (azab itu).
German 31:	Nun hat sich das Wort unseres Herrn gegen uns erfüllt. Wir werden gewiß (die Strafe) kosten müssen.
Russian 31:	Относительно нас сбылось Слово нашего Господа. Воистину, мы будем вкушать наказание.
Bosnian 31:	i riječ Gospodara našeg da ćemo, doista, kaznu iskusiti na nama se ispunila,
Urdu 31:	پھر ہم سب پر ہمارے رب کا قول پورا ہو گیا کہ ہم سب عذاب چکھنے والے ہیں
32	فَأَغْوَيْنَاكُمْ إِنَّا كُنَّا غَاوِينَ
Transliteration 32:	Faaghwaynakum inna kunna ghaweena
Yusuf Ali 32:	"We led you astray: for truly we were ourselves astray."
Shakir 32:	So we led you astray, for we ourselves were erring.
Pickthal 32:	Thus we misled you. Lo! we were (ourselves) astray.
Mohsin Khan: 32:	"So we led you astray because we were ourselves astray."
French 32:	‹Nous vous avons induits en erreur car, en vérité, nous étions égarés nous-mêmes›.
Spanish 32:	Os descarriamos. ¡Nosotros mismos estábamos descarriados!"
Indonesian 32:	Maka kami telah menyesatkan kamu, sesungguhnya kami adalah orang-orang yang sesat.
Melayu 32:	(Dengan sebab ketentuan yang tersebut) maka kami pun mengajak kamu menjadi sesat, kerana sebenarnya kami adalah orang-orang sesat
German 32:	"Und wir verführten euch, weil wir selbst Irrende waren.""
Russian 32:	Мы ввели вас в заблуждение, и мы сами были заблудшими».
Bosnian 32:	a u zabludu smo vas pozivali jer smo i sami u zabludi bili."
Urdu 32:	پھر ہم نے تمہیں بھی گمراہ کیا ہم خود بھی گمراہ تھے
33	فَإِنَّهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ فِي الْعَذَابِ مُشْتَرِكُونَ
Transliteration 33:	Fainnahum yawmaithin fee alAAathabi mushtarikoona
Yusuf Ali 33:	Truly, that Day, they will (all) share in the Penalty.
Shakir 33:	So they shall on that day be sharers in the chastisement one with another.
Pickthal 33:	Then lo! this day they (both) are sharers in the doom.
Mohsin Khan: 33:	Then verily, that Day, they will (all) share in the torment.
French 33:	Ce jour-là donc, ils seront tous associés dans le châtiment.
Spanish 33:	Ese día compartirán el castigo.
Indonesian 33:	Maka sesungguhnya mereka pada hari itu bersama-sama dalam azab.
Melayu 33:	Maka sesungguhnya mereka semua pada hari itu, menderita azab bersama.
German 33:	"An jenem Tage werden sie alle Teilhaber an der Strafe sein.
Russian 33:	Воистину, в тот день они разделят наказание.
Bosnian 33:	I oni će toga dana zajedno na muci biti,
Urdu 33:	پھر اس دن عذاب میں وہ سب یکساں ہو ں گے
34	إِنَّا كَذَ‌ٰلِكَ نَفْعَلُ بِالْمُجْرِمِينَ
Transliteration 34:	Inna kathalika nafAAalu bialmujrimeena
Yusuf Ali 34:	Verily that is how We shall deal with Sinners.
Shakir 34:	Surely thus do We deal with the guilty.
Pickthal 34:	Lo! thus deal We with the guilty.
Mohsin Khan: 34:	Certainly, that is how We deal with Al-Mujrimun (polytheists, sinners, disbelievers, criminals, the disobedient to Allah).
French 34:	Ainsi traitons-Nous les criminels.
Spanish 34:	Así haremos con los pecadores.
Indonesian 34:	Sesungguhnya demikianlah Kami berbuat terhadap orang-orang yang berbuat jahat.
Melayu 34:	Sesungguhnya demikianlah Kami melakukan kepada orang-orang yang berdosa.
German 34:	So verfahren Wir mit den Schuldigen;
Russian 34:	Воистину, так Мы поступаем с грешниками.
Bosnian 34:	jer Mi ćemo tako sa mnogobošcima postupiti,
Urdu 34:	بے شک ہم مجرمو ں سے ایسا ہی سلوک کیا کرتے ہیں
35	إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا إِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ لَا إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ
Transliteration 35:	Innahum kanoo itha qeela lahum la ilaha illa Allahu yastakbiroona
Yusuf Ali 35:	For they, when they were told that there is no god except Allah, would puff themselves up with Pride,
Shakir 35:	Surely they used to behave proudly when it was said to them: There is no god but Allah;
Pickthal 35:	For when it was said unto them, There is no Allah save Allah, they were scornful
Mohsin Khan: 35:	Truly, when it was said to them: La ilaha illallah "(none has the right to be worshipped but Allah)," they puffed themselves up with pride (i.e. denied it).
French 35:	Quand on leur disait: ‹Point de divinité à part Allah›, ils se gonflaient d'orgueil,
Spanish 35:	Cuando se les decía: "¡No hay más dios que Alá!" se mostraban altivos,
Indonesian 35:	Sesungguhnya mereka dahulu apabila dikatakan kepada mereka: "Laa ilaaha illallah" (Tiada Tuhan yang berhak disembah melainkan Allah) mereka menyombongkan diri,
Melayu 35:	Sebenarnya mereka dahulu apabila dikatakan kepadanya; (ketahuilah, bahawa) tiada Tuhan yang sebenar-benarnya melainkan Allah mereka bersikap takbur mengingkarinya, -
German 35:	"denn als zu ihnen gesprochen wurde: ""Es ist kein Gott außer Allah"", da verhielten sie sich hochmütig
Russian 35:	Когда им говорили: «Нет божества, кроме Аллаха», – они превозносились
Bosnian 35:	Kad im se govorilo: "Samo je Allah Bog!" - oni su se oholili
Urdu 35:	بے شک وہ ایسے تھے کہ جب ان سے کہا جاتا تھا کہ سوائے الله کے اور کوئی معبود نہیں تو وہ تکبر کیا کرتے تھے
36	وَيَقُولُونَ أَئِنَّا لَتَارِكُو آلِهَتِنَا لِشَاعِرٍ مَّجْنُونٍ
Transliteration 36:	Wayaqooloona ainna latarikoo alihatina lishaAAirin majnoonin
Yusuf Ali 36:	And say: "What! shall we give up our gods for the sake of a Poet possessed?"
Shakir 36:	And to say: What! shall we indeed give up our gods for the sake of a mad poet?
Pickthal 36:	And said: Shall we forsake our gods for a mad poet?
Mohsin Khan: 36:	And (they) said: "Are we going to abandon our alihah (gods) for the sake of a mad poet?"
French 36:	et disaient: ‹Allons-nous abandonner nos divinités pour un poète fou?›
Spanish 36:	y decían: "¿Vamos a dejar a nuestros dioses por un poeta poseso?"
Indonesian 36:	dan mereka berkata: "Apakah sesungguhnya kami harus meninggalkan sembahan-sembahan kami karena seorang penyair gila?"
Melayu 36:	Serta mereka berkata: Patutkah kami mesti meninggalkan tuhan-tuhan yang kami sembah, kerana mendengar ajakan seorang penyair gila?
German 36:	""und sagten: ""Sollen wir unsere Götter wegen eines besessenen Dichters aufgeben?""
Russian 36:	и говорили: «Неужели мы откажемся от наших богов ради одержимого поэта?»
Bosnian 36:	i govorili: "Zar da napustimo božanstva naša zbog jednog ludog pjesnika
Urdu 36:	اور وہ کہتے تھے کیا ہم اپنے معبودوں کو ایک شاعر دیوانہ کے کہنے سے چھوڑ دیں گے
37	بَلْ جَاءَ بِالْحَقِّ وَصَدَّقَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ
Transliteration 37:	Bal jaa bialhaqqi wasaddaqa almursaleena
Yusuf Ali 37:	Nay! he has come with the (very) Truth, and he confirms (the Message of) the apostles (before him).
Shakir 37:	Nay: he has come with the truth and verified the messengers.
Pickthal 37:	Nay, but he brought the Truth, and he confirmed those sent (before him).
Mohsin Khan: 37:	Nay! he (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) has come with the truth (i.e. Allah's religion - Islamic Monotheism and this Qur'an) and he confirms the Messengers (before him who brought Allah's religion - Islamic Monotheism).
French 37:	Il est plutòt venu avec la vérité et il a confirmé les messagers (précédents),
Spanish 37:	Pero ¡no! Él ha traído la Verdad y ha confirmado a los enviados.
Indonesian 37:	Sebenarnya dia (Muhammad) telah datang membawa kebenaran dan membenarkan rasul-rasul (sebelumnya).
Melayu 37:	(Tidak! Nabi Muhammad bukan penyair dan bukan pula seorang gila) bahkan ia telah membawa kebenaran (tauhid) dan mengesahkan kebenaran (tauhid) yang dibawa oleh Rasul-rasul (yang terdahulu daripadanya).
German 37:	"Nein, er hat die Wahrheit gebracht und die Gesandten bestätigt.
Russian 37:	О нет! Он принес истину и подтвердил правдивость посланников.
Bosnian 37:	A nije tako, on Istinu donosi i tvrdi da su svi poslanici istinu donosili,
Urdu 37:	بلکہ وہ حق لایا ہے اور اس نے سب رسولوں کی تصدیق کی ہے
38	إِنَّكُمْ لَذَائِقُو الْعَذَابِ الْأَلِيمِ
Transliteration 38:	Innakum lathaiqoo alAAathabi alaleemi
Yusuf Ali 38:	Ye shall indeed taste of the Grievous Penalty;-
Shakir 38:	Most surely you will taste the painful punishment.
Pickthal 38:	Lo! (now) verily ye taste the painful doom -
Mohsin Khan: 38:	Verily, you (pagans of Makkah) are going to taste the painful torment;
French 38:	Vous allez certes, goûter au châtiment douloureux.
Spanish 38:	¡Vais, sí, a gustar el castigo doloroso!
Indonesian 38:	Sesungguhnya kamu pasti akan merasakan azab yang pedih.
Melayu 38:	Sesungguhnya kamu (wahai orang-orang musyrik) akan merasai azab seksa yang tidak terperi sakitnya.
German 38:	Ihr werdet sicher die peinvolle Strafe kosten.
Russian 38:	Вы непременно вкусите мучительные страдания,
Bosnian 38:	a vi ćete sigurno bolnu patnju iskusiti -
Urdu 38:	بے شک اب تم دردناک عذاب چکھو گے
39	وَمَا تُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
Transliteration 39:	Wama tujzawna illa ma kuntum taAAmaloona
Yusuf Ali 39:	But it will be no more than the retribution of (the Evil) that ye have wrought;-
Shakir 39:	And you shall not be rewarded except (for) what you did.
Pickthal 39:	Ye are requited naught save what ye did -
Mohsin Khan: 39:	And you will be requited nothing except for what you used to do (evil deeds, sins, and Allah's disobedience which you used to do in this world)
French 39:	Et vous ne serez rétribués que selon ce que vous oeuvriez,
Spanish 39:	No se os retribuirá, empero, sino por las obras que hicisteis.
Indonesian 39:	Dan kamu tidak diberi pembalasan melainkan terhadap kejahatan yang telah kamu kerjakan,
Melayu 39:	Dan kamu tidak dibalas melainkan (dengan balasan yang sepadan) dengan apa yang kamu telah kerjakan;
German 39:	Und ihr werdet nur für das, was ihr selbst gewirkt habt, belohnt werden.
Russian 39:	и получите воздаяние только за то, что вы совершали.
Bosnian 39:	kako ste radili, onako ćete kažnjeni biti!
Urdu 39:	اور تمہیں وہی بدلہ دیا جائے گا جو تم کیا کرتے تھے
40	إِلَّا عِبَادَ اللَّهِ الْمُخْلَصِينَ
Transliteration 40:	Illa AAibada Allahi almukhlaseena
Yusuf Ali 40:	But the sincere (and devoted) Servants of Allah,-
Shakir 40:	Save the servants of Allah, the purified ones.
Pickthal 40:	Save single-minded slaves of Allah;
Mohsin Khan: 40:	Save the chosen slaves of Allah (i.e. the true believers of Islamic Monotheism).
French 40:	sauf les serviteurs élus d'Allah,
Spanish 40:	En cambio, los siervos escogidos de Alá
Indonesian 40:	tetapi hamba-hamba Allah yang dibersihkan (dari dosa).
Melayu 40:	Kecuali hamba-hamba Allah yang dibersihkan dari sebarang syirik,
German 40:	Ausgenommen (davon sind) die erwählten Diener Allahs.
Russian 40:	Это не относится лишь к избранным (или искренним) рабам Аллаха.
Bosnian 40:	A Allahovi iskreni robovi
Urdu 40:	مگر جو الله کے خاص بندے ہیں
41	أُولَـٰئِكَ لَهُمْ رِزْقٌ مَّعْلُومٌ
Transliteration 41:	Olaika lahum rizqun maAAloomun
Yusuf Ali 41:	For them is a Sustenance determined,
Shakir 41:	For them is a known sustenance,
Pickthal 41:	For them there is a known provision,
Mohsin Khan: 41:	For them there will be a known provision (in Paradise),
French 41:	Ceux-là auront une rétribution bien connue:
Spanish 41:	tendrán un sustento conocido:
Indonesian 41:	Mereka itu memperoleh rezki yang tertentu,
Melayu 41:	Mereka itu beroleh limpah kurnia yang termaklum,

Bosnian 41:	posebnu će opskrbu imati,
Urdu 41:	یہی لوگ ہیں جن کے لیے رزق معلوم ہے
42	فَوَاكِهُ ۖ وَهُم مُّكْرَمُونَ
Transliteration 42:	Fawakihu wahum mukramoona
Yusuf Ali 42:	Fruits (Delights); and they (shall enjoy) honour and dignity,
Shakir 42:	Fruits, and they shall be highly honored,
Pickthal 42:	Fruits. And they will be honoured
Mohsin Khan: 42:	Fruits; and they shall be honoured,
French 42:	des fruits, et ils seront honorés,
Spanish 42:	fruta. Y serán honrados
Indonesian 42:	yaitu buah-buahan. Dan mereka adalah orang-orang yang dimuliakan,
Melayu 42:	Iaitu buah-buahan (yang lazat), serta mereka mendapat penghormatan,

43	فِي جَنَّاتِ النَّعِيمِ
Transliteration 43:	Fee jannati alnnaAAeemi
Yusuf Ali 43:	In Gardens of Felicity,
Shakir 43:	In gardens of pleasure,
Pickthal 43:	In the Gardens of delight,
Mohsin Khan: 43:	In the Gardens of delight (Paradise),
French 43:	dans les Jardins du délice,
Spanish 43:	en los Jardines de la Delicia,
Indonesian 43:	di dalam surga-surga yang penuh ni'mat,
Melayu 43:	Di dalam Syurga-syurga yang penuh melimpah dengan berjenis-jenis nikmat.

Bosnian 43:	u džennetskim baščama naslada,
Urdu 43:	نعمتوں کے باغوں میں
44	عَلَىٰ سُرُرٍ مُّتَقَابِلِينَ
Transliteration 44:	AAala sururin mutaqabileena
Yusuf Ali 44:	Facing each other on Thrones (of Dignity):
Shakir 44:	On thrones, facing each other.
Pickthal 44:	On couches facing one another;
Mohsin Khan: 44:	Facing one another on thrones.
French 44:	sur des lits, face à face.
Spanish 44:	en lechos, unos enfrente de otros,
Indonesian 44:	di atas takhta-takhta kebesaran berhadap-hadapan.
Melayu 44:	Mereka duduk berhadap-hadapan di atas pelamin-pelamin kebesaran;
German 44:	auf Ruhebetten einander gegenüber (sitzend) ,
Russian 44:	Они будут возлежать на ложах друг против друга.
Bosnian 44:	na divanima, jedni prema drugima,
Urdu 44:	ایک دوسرے کے سامنے تختوں پر
45	يُطَافُ عَلَيْهِم بِكَأْسٍ مِّن مَّعِينٍ
Transliteration 45:	Yutafu AAalayhim bikasin min maAAeenin
Yusuf Ali 45:	Round will be passed to them a Cup from a clear-flowing fountain,
Shakir 45:	A bowl shall be made to go round them from water running out of springs,
Pickthal 45:	A cup from a gushing spring is brought round for them,
Mohsin Khan: 45:	Round them will be passed a cup of pure wine -
French 45:	On fera circuler entre eux une coupe d'eau remplie à une source
Spanish 45:	haciéndose circular entre ellos una copa de agua viva,
Indonesian 45:	Diedarkan kepada mereka gelas yang berisi khamar dari sungai yang mengalir.
Melayu 45:	Diedarkan kepada mereka piala yang berisi arak (yang diambil) dari sungainya yang mengalir,
German 45:	während ein unerschöpflicher Becher unter ihnen die Runde macht.
Russian 45:	Их будут обходить с чашей родникового напитка (вина),
Bosnian 45:	biće posluženi pićem - iz izvora koji će stalno teći -
Urdu 45:	ان میں صاف شراب کا دور چل رہا ہوگا
46	بَيْضَاءَ لَذَّةٍ لِّلشَّارِبِينَ
Transliteration 46:	Baydaa laththatin lilshsharibeena
Yusuf Ali 46:	Crystal-white, of a taste delicious to those who drink (thereof),
Shakir 46:	White, delicious to those who drink.
Pickthal 46:	White, delicious to the drinkers,
Mohsin Khan: 46:	White, delicious to the drinkers.
French 46:	blanche, savoureuse à boire,
Spanish 46:	clara, delicia de los bebedores,
Indonesian 46:	(Warnanya) putih bersih, sedap rasanya bagi orang-orang yang minum.
Melayu 46:	Minuman itu putih bersih, lagi lazat rasanya, bagi orang-orang yang meminumnya,
German 46:	(Er ist) weiß und wohlschmeckend für die Trinkenden.
Russian 46:	белого, доставляющего удовольствие пьющим.
Bosnian 46:	bistrim i prijatnim onima koji budu pili,
Urdu 46:	سفید پینے والوں کے لیے لذیذ ہوگی
47	لَا فِيهَا غَوْلٌ وَلَا هُمْ عَنْهَا يُنزَفُونَ
Transliteration 47:	La feeha ghawlun wala hum AAanha yunzafoona
Yusuf Ali 47:	Free from headiness; nor will they suffer intoxication therefrom.
Shakir 47:	There shall be no trouble in it, nor shall they be exhausted therewith.
Pickthal 47:	Wherein there is no headache nor are they made mad thereby.
Mohsin Khan: 47:	Neither will they have Ghoul (any kind of hurt, abdominal pain, headache, a sin) from that, nor will they suffer intoxication therefrom.
French 47:	Elle n'offusquera point leur raison et ne les enivrera pas.
Spanish 47:	que no aturdirá ni se agotará.
Indonesian 47:	Tidak ada dalam khamar itu alkohol dan mereka tiada mabuk karenanya.
Melayu 47:	Ia tidak mengandungi sesuatu yang membahayakan dan tidak pula mereka mabuk kerana menikmatinya.
German 47:	Er wird keinen Rausch erzeugen, noch werden sie davon müde werden.
Russian 47:	Он не лишает рассудка и не опьяняет.
Bosnian 47:	od njega neće glava boljeti i od njega se neće pamet gubiti.
Urdu 47:	نہ اس میں درد سر ہوگا اور نہ انہیں اس سے نشہ ہوگا
48	وَعِندَهُمْ قَاصِرَاتُ الطَّرْفِ عِينٌ
Transliteration 48:	WaAAindahum qasiratu alttarfi AAeenun
Yusuf Ali 48:	And besides them will be chaste women, restraining their glances, with big eyes (of wonder and beauty).
Shakir 48:	And with them shall be those who restrain the eyes, having beautiful eyes;
Pickthal 48:	And with them are those of modest gaze, with lovely eyes,
Mohsin Khan: 48:	And beside them will be Qasirat-at-Tarf [chaste females (wives), restraining their glances (desiring none except their husbands)], with wide and beautiful eyes.
French 48:	Et Ils auront auprès d'eux des belles aux grandes yeux, au regard chaste,
Spanish 48:	Tendrán a las de recatado mirar, de grandes ojos,
Indonesian 48:	Di sisi mereka ada bidadari-bidadari yang tidak liar pandangannya dan jelita matanya,
Melayu 48:	Sedang di sisi mereka ada pula bidadari-bidadari yang tidak menumpukan pandangannya melainkan kepada mereka, lagi yang amat indah luas matanya;
German 48:	Und bei ihnen werden (Keusche) sein, die züchtig aus großen Augen blicken,
Russian 48:	Возле них будут гурии, потупляющие взоры, большеглазые,
Bosnian 48:	Pored njih će biti one koje će preda se gledati, očiju prekrasnih,
Urdu 48:	اور ان کے پاس نیچی نگاہ والی بڑی آنکھوں والی ہوں گی
49	كَأَنَّهُنَّ بَيْضٌ مَّكْنُونٌ
Transliteration 49:	Kaannahunna baydun maknoonun
Yusuf Ali 49:	As if they were (delicate) eggs closely guarded.
Shakir 49:	As if they were eggs carefully protected.
Pickthal 49:	(Pure) as they were hidden eggs (of the ostrich).
Mohsin Khan: 49:	(Delicate and pure) as if they were (hidden) eggs (well) preserved.
French 49:	semblables au blanc bien préservé de l'oeuf.
Spanish 49:	como huevos bien guardados.
Indonesian 49:	seakan-akan mereka adalah telur (burung unta) yang tersimpan dengan baik.
Melayu 49:	(Putih kekuning-kuningan) seolah-olah mereka telur (Burung Kasawari) yang tersimpan dengan sebaik-baiknya.
German 49:	als ob sie verborgene Perlen wären.
Russian 49:	подобные оберегаемому яйцу.
Bosnian 49:	kao da su one jaja pokrivena.
Urdu 49:	گویا کہ وہ پردہ میں رکھے ہوئے انڈے ہیں
50	فَأَقْبَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ يَتَسَاءَلُونَ
Transliteration 50:	Faaqbala baAAduhum AAala baAAdin yatasaaloona
Yusuf Ali 50:	Then they will turn to one another and question one another.
Shakir 50:	Then shall some of them advance to others, questioning each other.
Pickthal 50:	And some of them draw near unto others, mutually questioning.
Mohsin Khan: 50:	Then they will turn to one another, mutually questioning.
French 50:	Puis les uns se tourneront vers les autres s'interrogeant mutuellement.
Spanish 50:	Y se volverán unos a otros para preguntarse.
Indonesian 50:	Lalu sebahagian mereka menghadap kepada sebahagian yang lain sambil bercakap-cakap.
Melayu 50:	(Tinggallah penduduk Syurga itu menikmati kesenangan), lalu setengahnya mengadap yang lain, sambil berbincang dan bertanya-tanyaan.
German 50:	Und einige von ihnen werden sich an die anderen wenden, um sich gegenseitig zu befragen.
Russian 50:	Они будут обращаться друг к другу с вопросами.
Bosnian 50:	I oni će jedan s drugim razgovarati,
Urdu 50:	پس وہ ایک دوسرے کی طرف متوجہ ہو کر آپس میں سوال کریں گے
