201	لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِ حَتَّىٰ يَرَوُا الْعَذَابَ الْأَلِيمَ
Transliteration 201:	La yuminoona bihi hatta yarawoo alAAathaba alaleema
Yusuf Ali 201:	They will not believe in it until they see the grievous Penalty;
Shakir 201:	They will not believe in it until they see the painful punishment.
Pickthal 201:	They will not believe in it till they behold the painful doom,
Mohsin Khan: 201:	They will not believe in it until they see the painful torment.
French 201:	mais ils n'y [le Coran] croiront pas avant de voir le châtiment douloureux,
Spanish 201:	pero no creerán en él hasta que vean el castigo doloroso,
Indonesian 201:	Mereka tidak beriman kepadanya, hingga mereka melihat azab yang pedih,
Melayu 201:	Mereka tidak beriman kepada Al-Quran sehingga mereka melihat azab yang tidak terperi sakitnya,
German 201:	Sie werden nicht an ihn glauben, bis sie die schmerzliche Strafe erleben.
Russian 201:	Они не уверуют в него, пока не увидят мучительные страдания.
Bosnian 201:	oni u nj neće vjerovati dok ne dožive patnju nesnosnu,
Urdu 201:	وہ دردناک عذاب دیکھے بغیر اس پر ایمان نہیں لائیں گے
202	فَيَأْتِيَهُم بَغْتَةً وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ
Transliteration 202:	Fayatiyahum baghtatan wahum la yashAAuroona
Yusuf Ali 202:	But the (Penalty) will come to them of a sudden, while they perceive it not;
Shakir 202:	And it shall come to them all of a sudden, while they shall not perceive;
Pickthal 202:	So that it will come upon them suddenly, when they perceive not.
Mohsin Khan: 202:	It shall come to them of a sudden, while they perceive it not.
French 202:	qui viendra sur eux soudain, sans qu'ils s'en rendent compte;
Spanish 202:	que les vendrá de repente, sin presentirlo.
Indonesian 202:	maka datanglah azab kepada mereka dengan mendadak, sedang mereka tidak menyadarinya,
Melayu 202:	Lalu azab itu datang menimpa mereka secara mengejut, dengan tidak mereka menyedarinya.
German 202:	Doch sie wird unversehens über sie kommen, ohne daß sie es merken.
Russian 202:	Они постигнут их неожиданно, так что они даже не почувствуют этого.
Bosnian 202:	koja će im iznenada doći, kad je najmanje budu očekivali,
Urdu 202:	پھر وہ ان پر اچاناک آئے گا اور انہیں خبر بھی نہ ہوگی
203	فَيَقُولُوا هَلْ نَحْنُ مُنظَرُونَ
Transliteration 203:	Fayaqooloo hal nahnu muntharoona
Yusuf Ali 203:	Then they will say: "Shall we be respited?"
Shakir 203:	Then they will say: Shall we be respited?
Pickthal 203:	Then they will say: Are we to be reprieved?
Mohsin Khan: 203:	Then they will say: "Can we be respited?"
French 203:	alors ils diront: ‹Est-ce qu'on va nous donner du répit?›
Spanish 203:	Entonces, dirán: "¿Se nos diferirá?"
Indonesian 203:	lalu mereka berkata: "Apakah kami dapat diberi tangguh?"
Melayu 203:	Maka (pada saat itu) mereka akan berkata (dengan menyesal): Dapatkah kiranya kami diberi tempoh?
German 203:	"Dann werden sie sagen: ""Wird uns eine Frist gewährt?""
Russian 203:	Тогда они скажут: «Предоставят ли нам отсрочку?»
Bosnian 203:	pa će reći: "Hoće li nam se imalo vremena dati?"
Urdu 203:	پھر کہیں گے کیا ہمیں مہلت مل سکتی ہے
204	أَفَبِعَذَابِنَا يَسْتَعْجِلُونَ
Transliteration 204:	AfabiAAathabina yastaAAjiloona
Yusuf Ali 204:	Do they then ask for Our Penalty to be hastened on?
Shakir 204:	What! do they still seek to hasten on Our punishment?
Pickthal 204:	Would they (now) hasten on Our doom?
Mohsin Khan: 204:	Would they then wish for Our Torment to be hastened on?
French 204:	Est-ce qu'ils cherchent à hâter Notre châtiment?
Spanish 204:	¿Quieren, entonces, adelantar Nuestro castigo?
Indonesian 204:	Maka apakah mereka meminta supaya disegerakan azab Kami?
Melayu 204:	(Kalaulah demikian keadaan mereka) maka patutkah mereka meminta disegerakan azab Kami?
German 204:	"Ist es denn Unsere Strafe, die sie beschleunigen wollen?
Russian 204:	Неужели они торопят мучения от Нас?
Bosnian 204:	Zašto oni kaznu Našu požuruju?!
Urdu 204:	کیا ہمارے عذاب کو جلد چاہتے ہیں
205	أَفَرَأَيْتَ إِن مَّتَّعْنَاهُمْ سِنِينَ
Transliteration 205:	Afaraayta in mattaAAnahum sineena
Yusuf Ali 205:	Seest thou? If We do let them enjoy (this life) for a few years,
Shakir 205:	Have you then considered if We let them enjoy themselves for years,
Pickthal 205:	Hast thou then seen, if We content them for (long) years,
Mohsin Khan: 205:	Tell Me, (even) if We do let them enjoy for years,
French 205:	Vois-tu si Nous leur permettions de jouir, des années durant,
Spanish 205:	Y ¿qué te parece? Si les dejáramos gozar durante años
Indonesian 205:	Maka bagaimana pendapatmu jika Kami berikan kepada mereka keni'matan hidup bertahun-tahun,
Melayu 205:	Bagaimana fikiranmu (wahai Muhammad)? Jika Kami berikan mereka menikmati kesenangan bertahun-tahun,
German 205:	Siehst du nicht, wie Wir sie jahrelang genießen lassen?
Russian 205:	Знаешь ли ты, что если Мы позволим им пользоваться благами многие годы,
Bosnian 205:	Šta ti misliš, ako im Mi dopuštamo da godinama uživaju,
Urdu 205:	بھلا دیکھ اگر ہم انہیں چند سال فائدہ اٹھانے دیں
206	ثُمَّ جَاءَهُم مَّا كَانُوا يُوعَدُونَ
Transliteration 206:	Thumma jaahum ma kanoo yooAAadoona
Yusuf Ali 206:	Yet there comes to them at length the (Punishment) which they were promised!
Shakir 206:	Then there comes to them that with which they are threatened,
Pickthal 206:	And then cometh that which they were promised,
Mohsin Khan: 206:	And afterwards comes to them that (punishment) which they had been promised,
French 206:	et qu'ensuite leur arrive ce dont on les menaçait,
Spanish 206:	y, luego, se cumpliera en ellos la amenaza,
Indonesian 206:	Kemudian datang kepada mereka azab yang telah diancamkan kepada mereka,
Melayu 206:	Kemudian mereka didatangi azab seksa yang dijanjikan kepada mereka,
German 206:	Dann aber kommt das zu ihnen, was ihnen angedroht wurde.
Russian 206:	после чего к ним явится то, что им было обещано,
Bosnian 206:	i naposljetku ih snađe ono čime im se prijeti,
Urdu 206:	پھر ان کے پاس وہ عذاب آئے جس کا وعدہ دیے جاتے ہیں
207	مَا أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا يُمَتَّعُونَ
Transliteration 207:	Ma aghna AAanhum ma kanoo yumattaAAoona
Yusuf Ali 207:	It will profit them not that they enjoyed (this life)!
Shakir 207:	That which they were made to enjoy shall not avail them?
Pickthal 207:	(How) that wherewith they were contented naught availeth them?
Mohsin Khan: 207:	All that with which they used to enjoy shall not avail them.
French 207:	les jouissances qu'on leur a permises ne leur serviraient à rien.
Spanish 207:	no les serviría de nada el haber disfrutado tanto.
Indonesian 207:	niscaya tidak berguna bagi mereka apa yang mereka selalu meni'matinya.
Melayu 207:	(Tentulah) kesenangan yang mereka nikmati bertahun-tahun itu tidak dapat memberikan mereka sebarang pertolongan.
German 207:	Nichts nützt ihnen dann all das, was sie genießen durften.
Russian 207:	то все, чем им было позволено пользоваться, не принесет им никакой пользы?
Bosnian 207:	zar će imati šta od slatkog života koji su provodili?
Urdu 207:	تو جو انہوں نے فائدہ اٹھایا ہے کیا ان کے کچھ کام بھی آئے گا
208	وَمَا أَهْلَكْنَا مِن قَرْيَةٍ إِلَّا لَهَا مُنذِرُونَ
Transliteration 208:	Wama ahlakna min qaryatin illa laha munthiroona
Yusuf Ali 208:	Never did We destroy a population, but had its warners -
Shakir 208:	And We did not destroy any town but it had (its) warners,
Pickthal 208:	And We destroyed no township but it had its warners
Mohsin Khan: 208:	And never did We destroy a township but it had its warners
French 208:	Et Nous ne faisons pas périr de cité avant qu'elle n'ait eu des avertisseurs,
Spanish 208:	No hemos destruido nunca una ciudad sin haberle enviado antes quienes advirtieran,
Indonesian 208:	Dan Kami tidak membinasakan sesuatu negeripun, melainkan sesudah ada baginya orang-orang yang memberi peringatan;
Melayu 208:	Dan tiadalah Kami membinasakan mana-mana negeri (yang telah dibinasakan itu), melainkan setelah diutus kepadanya lebih dahulu, Rasul-rasul pemberi amaran.
German 208:	Und nie zerstörten Wir eine Stadt, ohne daß sie Warner gehabt hätte,
Russian 208:	Мы не губили ни одного селения, в котором предостерегающие увещеватели не побывали
Bosnian 208:	Mi nijedan grad nismo razorili prije nego su im došli oni koji su ih opominjali
Urdu 208:	اور ہم نے ایسی کوئی بستی ہلاک نہیں کی جس کے لیے ڈرانے والے نہ آئے ہوں
209	ذِكْرَىٰ وَمَا كُنَّا ظَالِمِينَ
Transliteration 209:	Thikra wama kunna thalimeena
Yusuf Ali 209:	By way of reminder; and We never are unjust.
Shakir 209:	To remind, and We are never unjust.
Pickthal 209:	For reminder, for We never were oppressors.
Mohsin Khan: 209:	By way of reminder, and We have never been unjust.
French 209:	[à titre de] rappel, et Nous ne sommes pas injuste.
Spanish 209:	como amonestación. No somos injustos.
Indonesian 209:	untuk menjadi peringatan. Dan Kami sekali-kali tidak berlaku zalim.
Melayu 209:	Memperingatkan mereka dan Kami tidak sekali-kali berlaku zalim.
German 209:	zur Ermahnung; und nie sind Wir ungerecht.
Russian 209:	с назиданиями. Мы не были несправедливы.
Bosnian 209:	da bi pouku primili; Mi nismo nepravedni bili.
Urdu 209:	نصیحت دینے کے لیے اور ہم ظالم نہیں تھے
210	وَمَا تَنَزَّلَتْ بِهِ الشَّيَاطِينُ
Transliteration 210:	Wama tanazzalat bihi alshshayateenu
Yusuf Ali 210:	No evil ones have brought down this (Revelation):
Shakir 210:	And the Shaitans have not come down with it.
Pickthal 210:	The devils did not bring it down.
Mohsin Khan: 210:	And it is not the Shayatin (devils) who have brought it (this Qur'an) down.
French 210:	Et ce ne sont point les diables qui sont descendus avec ceci (le Coran):
Spanish 210:	No son los demonios quienes lo han bajado:
Indonesian 210:	Dan Al Qur'an itu bukanlah dibawa turun oleh syaitan-syaitan.
Melayu 210:	Dan Al-Quran itu pula tidak sekali-kali dibawa turun oleh Syaitan-syaitan.
German 210:	Und die Satane haben ihn (den Qur'an) nicht herabgebracht,
Russian 210:	Дьяволы не нисходили с ним (Кораном).
Bosnian 210:	Kur’an ne donose šejtani,
Urdu 210:	اور قرآن کو شیطان لے کر نہیں نازل ہوئے
211	وَمَا يَنبَغِي لَهُمْ وَمَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ
Transliteration 211:	Wama yanbaghee lahum wama yastateeAAoona
Yusuf Ali 211:	It would neither suit them nor would they be able (to produce it).
Shakir 211:	And it behoves them not, and they have not the power to do (it).
Pickthal 211:	It is not meet for them, nor is it in their power,
Mohsin Khan: 211:	Neither would it suit them, nor they can (produce it).
French 211:	cela ne leur convient pas; et ils n'auraient pu le faire.
Spanish 211:	ni les estaba bien, ni podían hacerlo.
Indonesian 211:	Dan tidaklah patut mereka membawa turun Al Qur'an itu, dan merekapun tidak akan kuasa.
Melayu 211:	Dan tidak layak bagi Syaitan-syaitan itu berbuat demikian dan mereka juga tidak akan dapat melakukannya.
German 211:	noch schickt es sich für sie, noch vermögen sie es;
Russian 211:	Это не подобает им, и они не способны на это.
Bosnian 211:	nezamislivo je da to oni čine; oni to nisu kadri,
Urdu 211:	اور نہ یہ ان کا کام ہے اور نہ وہ اسے کر سکتے ہیں
212	إِنَّهُمْ عَنِ السَّمْعِ لَمَعْزُولُونَ
Transliteration 212:	Innahum AAani alssamAAi lamaAAzooloona
Yusuf Ali 212:	Indeed they have been removed far from even (a chance of) hearing it.
Shakir 212:	Most surely they are far removed from the hearing of it.
Pickthal 212:	Lo! verily they are banished from the hearing.
Mohsin Khan: 212:	Verily, they have been removed far from hearing it.
French 212:	Car ils sont écartés de toute écoute (du message divin).
Spanish 212:	Están, en verdad, lejos de oírlo.
Indonesian 212:	Sesungguhnya mereka benar-benar dijauhkan daripada mendengar Al Qur'an itu.
Melayu 212:	Sesungguhnya mereka dihalang sama sekali daripada mendengar wahyu yang dibawa oleh Malaikat.
German 212:	denn sie sind vom Lauschen ferngehalten.
Russian 212:	Они отстранены от прислушивания к нему.
Bosnian 212:	oni ga nikako ne mogu prisluškivati.
Urdu 212:	وہ تو سننے کی جگہ سے بھی دور کر دیے گئے ہیں
213	فَلَا تَدْعُ مَعَ اللَّهِ إِلَـٰهًا آخَرَ فَتَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُعَذَّبِينَ
Transliteration 213:	Fala tadAAu maAAa Allahi ilahan akhara fatakoona mina almuAAaththabeena
Yusuf Ali 213:	So call not on any other god with Allah, or thou wilt be among those under the Penalty.
Shakir 213:	So call not upon another god with Allah, lest you be of those who are punished.
Pickthal 213:	Therefor invoke not with Allah another god, lest thou be one of the doomed.
Mohsin Khan: 213:	So invoke not with Allah another ilah (god) lest you should be among those who receive punishment.
French 213:	N'invoque donc pas une autre divinité avec Allah, sinon tu seras du nombre des châtiés.
Spanish 213:	No invoques a otros dioses junto con Alá si no, serás castigado.
Indonesian 213:	Maka janganlah kamu menyeru (menyembah) tuhan yang lain di samping Allah, yang menyebabkan kamu termasuk orang-orang yang diazab.
Melayu 213:	Maka janganlah engkau (wahai Muhammad) menyembah tuhan yang lain bersama-sama Allah, akibatnya engkau akan menjadi dari golongan yang dikenakan azab seksa.
German 213:	Rufe daher außer Allah keinen anderen Gott an, damit du nicht zu denen gehörst, die bestraft werden.
Russian 213:	Не взывай к другим богам помимо Аллаха, а не то окажешься в числе подвергнутых мучениям.
Bosnian 213:	Zato se, mimo Allaha, ne moli drugom bogu - da ne bi bio jedan od onih koji će biti mučeni!
Urdu 213:	سو الله کے ساتھ کسی اور معبود کو نہ پکار ورنہ تو بھی عذاب میں مبتلا ہو جائے گا
214	وَأَنذِرْ عَشِيرَتَكَ الْأَقْرَبِينَ
Transliteration 214:	Waanthir AAasheerataka alaqrabeena
Yusuf Ali 214:	And admonish thy nearest kinsmen,
Shakir 214:	And warn your nearest relations,
Pickthal 214:	And warn thy tribe of near kindred,
Mohsin Khan: 214:	And warn your tribe (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) of near kindred.
French 214:	Et avertis les gens qui te sont les plus proches.
Spanish 214:	Advierte a los miembros más allegados de tu tribu.
Indonesian 214:	Dan berilah peringatan kepada kerabat-kerabatmu yang terdekat,
Melayu 214:	Dan berilah peringatan serta amaran kepada kaum kerabatmu yang dekat.
German 214:	Und warne deine nächsten Verwandten
Russian 214:	Предостереги своих ближайших родственников!
Bosnian 214:	I opominji rodbinu svoju najbližu
Urdu 214:	اور اپنے قریب کے رشتہ داروں کو ڈرا
215	وَاخْفِضْ جَنَاحَكَ لِمَنِ اتَّبَعَكَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
Transliteration 215:	Waikhfid janahaka limani ittabaAAaka mina almumineena
Yusuf Ali 215:	And lower thy wing to the Believers who follow thee.
Shakir 215:	And be kind to him who follows you of the believers.
Pickthal 215:	And lower thy wing (in kindness) unto those believers who follow thee.
Mohsin Khan: 215:	And be kind and humble to the believers who follow you.
French 215:	Et abaisse ton aile [sois bienveillant] pour les croyants qui te suivent.
Spanish 215:	Sé benévolo con los creyentes que te siguen.
Indonesian 215:	dan rendahkanlah dirimu terhadap orang-orang yang mengikutimu, yaitu orang-orang yang beriman.
Melayu 215:	Dan hendaklah engkau merendah diri kepada pengikut-pengikutmu dari orang-orang yang beriman.
German 215:	und senke deinen Flügel über die Gläubigen, die dir folgen.
Russian 215:	Опусти свое крыло перед верующими, которые следует за тобой (будь добр и милосерден к ним).
Bosnian 215:	i budi ljubazan prema vjernicima koji te slijede!
Urdu 215:	اور جو ایمان لانے والے تیرے ساتھ ہیں ان کے لیے اپنا بازو جھکا ئے رکھ
216	فَإِنْ عَصَوْكَ فَقُلْ إِنِّي بَرِيءٌ مِّمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ
Transliteration 216:	Fain AAasawka faqul innee bareeon mimma taAAmaloona
Yusuf Ali 216:	Then if they disobey thee, say: "I am free (of responsibility) for what ye do!"
Shakir 216:	But if they disobey you, then say: Surely I am clear of what you do.
Pickthal 216:	And if they (thy kinsfolk) disobey thee, say: Lo! I am innocent of what they do.
Mohsin Khan: 216:	Then if they disobey you, say: "I am innocent of what you do."
French 216:	Mais s'ils te désobéissent, dis-leur: ‹Moi, je désavoue ce que vous faites›.
Spanish 216:	Si te desobedecen, di: "Soy inocente de lo que hacéis".
Indonesian 216:	Jika mereka mendurhakaimu maka katakanlah: "Sesungguhnya aku tidak bertanggung jawab terhadap apa yang kamu kerjakan";
Melayu 216:	Kemudian jika mereka berlaku ingkar kepadamu, maka katakanlah: Sesungguhnya aku berlepas diri dari apa yang kamu lakukan!
German 216:	"Sind sie dir dann aber ungehorsam, so sprich: ""Ich bin schuldlos an dem, was ihr tut.""
Russian 216:	Если же они ослушаются тебя, то скажи: «Я не причастен к тому, что вы совершаете».
Bosnian 216:	A ako te ne budu poslušali, ti reci: "Ja nemam ništa s tim što vi radite."
Urdu 216:	پھر اگر تیری نافرمانی کریں تو کہہ دے میں تمہارے کام سے بیزار ہوں
217	وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى الْعَزِيزِ الرَّحِيمِ
Transliteration 217:	Watawakkal AAala alAAazeezi alrraheemi
Yusuf Ali 217:	And put thy trust on the Exalted in Might, the Merciful,-
Shakir 217:	And rely on the Mighty, the Merciful,
Pickthal 217:	And put thy trust in the Mighty, the Merciful.
Mohsin Khan: 217:	And put your trust in the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful,
French 217:	Et place ta confiance dans le Tout Puissant, le Très Miséricordieux,
Spanish 217:	Confía en el Poderoso, el Misericordioso,
Indonesian 217:	Dan bertawakkallah kepada (Allah) Yang Maha Perkasa lagi Maha Penyayang,
Melayu 217:	Dan berserahlah kepada Allah Yang Maha Kuasa, lagi Maha Mengasihani,
German 217:	"Und vertraue auf den Erhabenen, den Barmherzigen,
Russian 217:	Уповай на Могущественного, Милосердного,
Bosnian 217:	I pouzdaj se u Silnoga i Milostivoga,
Urdu 217:	اور زبردست رحم والے پر بھروسہ کر
218	الَّذِي يَرَاكَ حِينَ تَقُومُ
Transliteration 218:	Allathee yaraka heena taqoomu
Yusuf Ali 218:	Who seeth thee standing forth (in prayer),
Shakir 218:	Who sees you when you stand up.
Pickthal 218:	Who seeth thee when thou standest up (to pray)
Mohsin Khan: 218:	Who sees you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) when you stand up (alone at night for Tahajjud prayers).
French 218:	qui te voit quand tu te lèves,
Spanish 218:	Que te ve cuando estás de pie
Indonesian 218:	Yang melihat kamu ketika kamu berdiri (untuk sembahyang),
Melayu 218:	Yang melihatmu semasa engkau berdiri (mengerjakan sembahyang),
German 218:	Der dich sieht, wenn du (im Gebet) dastehst,
Russian 218:	Который видит тебя, когда ты выстаиваешь намазы по ночам
Bosnian 218:	koji te vidi kada ustaneš
Urdu 218:	جو تجھے دیکھتا ہے جب تو اٹھتا ہے
219	وَتَقَلُّبَكَ فِي السَّاجِدِينَ
Transliteration 219:	Wataqallubaka fee alssajideena
Yusuf Ali 219:	And thy movements among those who prostrate themselves,
Shakir 219:	And your turning over and over among those who prostrate themselves before Allah.
Pickthal 219:	And (seeth) thine abasement among those who fall prostrate (in worship).
Mohsin Khan: 219:	And your movements among those who fall prostrate (to Allah in the five compulsory congregational prayers).
French 219:	et (voit) tes gestes parmi ceux qui se prosternent.
Spanish 219:	y ve las posturas que adoptas entre los que se prosternan.
Indonesian 219:	dan (melihat pula) perubahan gerak badanmu di antara orang-orang yang sujud.
Melayu 219:	Dan (melihat) gerak-gerimu di antara orang-orang yang sujud.
German 219:	und (Der) deine Bewegungen inmitten derer, die sich (vor Ihm) niederwerfen, (sieht) ;
Russian 219:	и двигаешься среди падающих ниц.
Bosnian 219:	da sa ostalima molitvu obaviš,
Urdu 219:	اور نمازیوں میں تیری نشست و برخاست دیکھتا ہے
220	إِنَّهُ هُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
Transliteration 220:	Innahu huwa alssameeAAu alAAaleemu
Yusuf Ali 220:	For it is He Who heareth and knoweth all things.
Shakir 220:	Surely He is the Hearing, the Knowing.
Pickthal 220:	Lo! He, only He, is the Hearer, the Knower.
Mohsin Khan: 220:	Verily He, only He, is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower.
French 220:	C'est Lui vraiment, I'Audient, I'Omniscient.
Spanish 220:	Él es Quien todo lo oye, Quien todo lo sabe.
Indonesian 220:	Sesungguhnya Dia adalah Yang Maha Mendengar lagi Maha Mengetahui.
Melayu 220:	Sesungguhnya Dialah jua Yang Maha Mendengar, lagi Maha Mengetahui.

Transliteration 224:	WaalshshuAAarao yattabiAAuhumu alghawoona
Yusuf Ali 224:	And the Poets,- It is those straying in Evil, who follow them:

Transliteration 225:	Alam tara annahum fee kulli wadin yaheemoona
Yusuf Ali 225:	Seest thou not that they wander distracted in every valley?-
Shakir 225:	Do you not see that they wander about bewildered in every valley?
Pickthal 225:	Hast thou not seen how they stray in every valley,
Mohsin Khan: 225:	See you not that they speak about every subject (praising people - right or wrong) in their poetry?

Yusuf Ali 226:	And that they say what they practise not?-

227	إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ وَذَكَرُوا اللَّهَ كَثِيرًا وَانتَصَرُوا مِن بَعْدِ مَا ظُلِمُوا ۗ وَسَيَعْلَمُ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا أَيَّ مُنقَلَبٍ يَنقَلِبُونَ
Transliteration 227:	Illa allatheena amanoo waAAamiloo alssalihati wathakaroo Allaha katheeran waintasaroo min baAAdi ma thulimoo wasayaAAlamu allatheena thalamoo ayya munqalabin yanqaliboona
Yusuf Ali 227:	Except those who believe, work righteousness, engage much in the remembrance of Allah, and defend themselves only after they are unjustly attacked. And soon will the unjust assailants know what vicissitudes their affairs will take!
Shakir 227:	Except those who believe and do good and remember Allah much, and defend themselves after they are oppressed; and they who act unjustly shall know to what final place of turning they shall turn back.
Pickthal 227:	Save those who believe and do good works, and remember Allah much, and vindicate themselves after they have been wronged. Those who do wrong will come to know by what a (great) reverse they will be overturned!
Mohsin Khan: 227:	Except those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah - Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous deeds, and remember Allah much, and vindicate themselves after they have been wronged [by replying back in poetry to the unjust poetry (which the pagan poets utter against the Muslims)]. And those who do wrong will come to know by what overturning they will be overturned.
French 227:	à part ceux qui croient et font de bonnes oeuvres, qui invoquent souvent le nom d'Allah et se défendent contre les torts qu'on leur fait. Les injustes verront bientòt le revirement qu'ils [éprouveront]!
Spanish 227:	No son así los que creen, obran bien, recuerdan mucho a Alá y se defienden cuando son tratados injustamente. ¡Los impíos verán pronto la suerte que les espera!
Indonesian 227:	kecuali orang-orang (penyair-penyair) yang beriman dan beramal saleh dan banyak menyebut Allah dan mendapat kemenangan sesudah menderita kezaliman. Dan orang-orang yang zalim itu kelak akan mengetahui ke tempat mana mereka akan kembali.
Melayu 227:	Kecuali orang-orang yang beriman dan beramal soleh (dari kalangan penyair-penyair itu) dan mereka pula mengingati Allah banyak-banyak, serta mereka membela diri sesudah mereka dianiaya dan (ingatlah), orang-orang yang melakukan sebarang kezaliman, akan mengetahui kelak, ke tempat mana, mereka akan kembali.
German 227:	Außer denen, die glauben und gute Werke verrichten und Allahs des öfteren gedenken und die sich widersetzen, nachdem ihnen Unrecht widerfuhr. Und die Ungerechten werden bald erfahren, zu welchem Ort sie zurückkehren werden.
Russian 227:	Это не относится к тем, которые уверовали, совершают праведные деяния, многократно поминают Аллаха и защищаются после того, как с ними поступили несправедливо? А те, которые поступают несправедливо, скоро узнают, куда они вернутся.
Bosnian 227:	tako ne govore samo oni koji vjeruju i dobra djela čine, i koji često Allaha spominju, i koji uzvraćaju kad ih ismijavaju. A mnogobošci će, sigurno, saznati u kakvu će se muku uvaliti.
Urdu 227:	مگروہ جو ایمان لائے اور نیک کام کیے اور الله کوبہت یاد کیا اور مظلوم ہونے کے بعد بدلہ لیا اور ظالموں کو ابھی معلوم ہو جائے گا کہ کس کروٹ پر پڑتے ہیں
