1	يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ إِذَا طَلَّقْتُمُ النِّسَاءَ فَطَلِّقُوهُنَّ لِعِدَّتِهِنَّ وَأَحْصُوا الْعِدَّةَ ۖ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ رَبَّكُمْ ۖ لَا تُخْرِجُوهُنَّ مِن بُيُوتِهِنَّ وَلَا يَخْرُجْنَ إِلَّا أَن يَأْتِينَ بِفَاحِشَةٍ مُّبَيِّنَةٍ ۚ وَتِلْكَ حُدُودُ اللَّهِ ۚ وَمَن يَتَعَدَّ حُدُودَ اللَّهِ فَقَدْ ظَلَمَ نَفْسَهُ ۚ لَا تَدْرِي لَعَلَّ اللَّهَ يُحْدِثُ بَعْدَ ذَ‌ٰلِكَ أَمْرًا
Transliteration 1:	Ya ayyuha alnnabiyyu itha tallaqtumu alnnisaa fatalliqoohunna liAAiddatihinna waahsoo alAAiddata waittaqoo Allaha rabbakum la tukhrijoohunna min buyootihinna wala yakhrujna illa an yateena bifahishatin mubayyinatin watilka hudoodu Allahi waman yataAAadda hudooda Allahi faqad thalama nafsahu la tadree laAAalla Allaha yuhdithu baAAda thalika amran
Yusuf Ali 1:	O Prophet! When ye do divorce women, divorce them at their prescribed periods, and count (accurately), their prescribed periods: And fear Allah your Lord: and turn them not out of their houses, nor shall they (themselves) leave, except in case they are guilty of some open lewdness, those are limits set by Allah. and any who transgresses the limits of Allah, does verily wrong his (own) soul: thou knowest not if perchance Allah will bring about thereafter some new situation.
Shakir 1:	O Prophet! when you divorce women, divorce them for~ their prescribed time, and calculate the number of the days prescribed, and be careful of (your duty to) Allah, your Lord. Do not drive them out of their houses, nor should they themselves go forth, unless they commit an open indecency; and these are the limits of Allah, and whoever goes beyond the limits of Allah, he indeed does injustice to his own soul. You do not know that Allah may after that bring about reunion.
Pickthal 1:	O Prophet! When ye (men) put away women, put them away for their (legal) period and reckon the period, and keep your duty to Allah, your Lord. Expel them not from their houses nor let them go forth unless they commit open immorality. Such are the limits (imposed by) Allah; and whoso transgresseth Allah's limits, he verily wrongeth his soul. Thou knowest not: it may be that Allah will afterward bring some new thing to pass.
Mohsin Khan: 1:	O Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم)! When you divorce women, divorce them at their 'Iddah (prescribed periods) and count (accurately) their 'Iddah (periods ). And fear Allah your Lord (O Muslims). And turn them not out of their (husband's) homes nor shall they (themselves) leave, except in case they are guilty of some open illegal sexual intercourse. And those are the set limits of Allah. And whosoever transgresses the set limits of Allah, then indeed he has wronged himself. You (the one who divorces his wife) know not it may be that Allah will afterward bring some new thing to pass (i.e. to return her back to you if that was the first or second divorce).
French 1:	Ô Prophète! Quand vous répudier les femmes, répudiez-les conformément à leur période d'attente prescrite; et comptez la période; et craignez Allah votre Seigneur. Ne les faîtes pas sortir de leurs maisons, et qu'elles n'en sortent pas, à moins qu'elles n'aient commis une turpitude prouvée. Telles sont les lois d'Allah. Quiconque cependant transgresse les lois d'Allah, se fait du tort à lui-même. Tu ne sais pas si d'ici là Allah ne suscitera pas quelque chose de nouveau!
Spanish 1:	¡Profeta! Cuando repudiáis a las mujeres, ¡hacedlo al terminar su período de espera! ¡Contad bien los días de ese período y temed a Alá, vuestro Señor! ¡No las expulséis de sus casas ni ellas salgan, a menos que sean culpables de deshonestidad manifiesta! Ésas son las leyes de Alá. Y quien viola las leyes de Alá es injusto consigo mismo. Tú no sabes... Quizá Alá, entre tanto, suscite algún imprevisto...
Indonesian 1:	Hai Nabi, apabila kamu menceraikan isteri-isterimu maka hendaklah kamu ceraikan mereka pada waktu mereka dapat (menghadapi) idahnya (yang wajar) dan hitunglah waktu idah itu serta bertakwalah kepada Allah Tuhanmu. Janganlah kamu keluarkan mereka dari rumah mereka dan janganlah mereka (diizinkan) keluar kecuali kalau mereka mengerjakan perbuatan keji yang terang . Itulah hukum-hukum Allah dan barangsiapa yang melanggar hukum-hukum Allah, maka sesungguhnya dia telah berbuat zalim terhadap dirinya sendiri. Kamu tidak mengetahui barangkali Allah mengadakan sesudah itu suatu hal yang baru .
Melayu 1:	Wahai Nabi! Apabila kamu (engkau dan umatmu) hendak menceraikan isteri-isteri (kamu), maka ceraikanlah mereka pada masa mereka dapat memulakan idahnya dan hitunglah masa idah itu (dengan betul), serta bertakwalah kepada Allah, Tuhan kamu. Janganlah kamu mengeluarkan mereka dari rumah-rumah kediamannya (sehingga selesai idahnya) dan janganlah pula (dibenarkan) mereka keluar (dari situ), kecuali (jika) mereka melakukan perbuatan keji yang nyata dan itulah aturan-aturan hukum Allah (maka janganlah kamu melanggarnya) dan sesiapa yang melanggar aturan-aturan hukum Allah maka sesungguhnya dia telah berlaku zalim kepada dirinya. (Patuhilah hukum-hukum itu, kerana) engkau tidak mengetahui boleh jadi Allah akan mengadakan, sesudah itu, sesuatu perkara (yang lain).
German 1:	O du Prophet, wenn ihr euch von den Frauen scheidet, so scheidet euch von ihnen zu ihrer festgesetzten Zeit und berechnet die Zeit und fürchtet Allah, euren Herrn. Treibt sie nicht aus ihren Häusern, noch laßt sie hinausgehen, es sei denn, sie hätten eine offenkundige Schändlichkeit begangen. Und dies sind Allahs Gebote; und wer Allahs Gebote übertritt, der hat sich selber Unrecht getan. Du weißt nicht, ob Allah danach etwas (Unvermutetes) geschehen lassen würde.
Russian 1:	О Пророк! Когда вы даете женам развод, то разводитесь в течение установленного срока, ведите счет этому сроку и бойтесь Аллаха, вашего Господа. Не выгоняйте их из их домов, и пусть они не выходят из них, если только они не совершат явную мерзость. Таковы ограничения Аллаха. Кто преступает ограничения Аллаха, тот поступает несправедливо по отношению к себе. Ты не знаешь, что Аллах, возможно, после этого решит иначе.
Bosnian 1:	O Vjerovjesniče, kada htjednete žene pustiti, vi ih u vrijeme kada su čiste pustite, a onda vrijeme koje treba proći brojte i Allaha, Gospodara svoga, bojte se. Ne tjerajte ih iz stanova njihovih, a ni one neka ne izlaze, osim ako očito sramno djelo učine. To su Allahovi propisi. Onaj koji Allahove propise krši - sam sebi nepravdu čini. Ti ne znaš, Allah može poslije toga priliku pružiti.
Urdu 1:	اے نبی جب تم عورتوں کو طلاق دو تو ان کی عدت کے موقع پر طلاق دو اور عدت گنتے رہو اور الله سے ڈرتے رہو جو تمہارا رب ہے نہ تم ہی ان کو ان کے گھروں سے نکالو اور نہ وہ خود ہی نکلیں مگر جب کھلم کھلا کوئی بے حیائی کا کام کریں اور یہ الله کی حدیں ہیں اور جو الله کی حدوں سے بڑھاا تو اس نے اپنے نفس پر ظلم کیا آپ کو کیا معلوم کہ شاید الله اس کے بعد اور کوئی نئی بات پیدا کر دے
2	فَإِذَا بَلَغْنَ أَجَلَهُنَّ فَأَمْسِكُوهُنَّ بِمَعْرُوفٍ أَوْ فَارِقُوهُنَّ بِمَعْرُوفٍ وَأَشْهِدُوا ذَوَيْ عَدْلٍ مِّنكُمْ وَأَقِيمُوا الشَّهَادَةَ لِلَّهِ ۚ ذَ‌ٰلِكُمْ يُوعَظُ بِهِ مَن كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ ۚ وَمَن يَتَّقِ اللَّهَ يَجْعَل لَّهُ مَخْرَجًا
Transliteration 2:	Faitha balaghna ajalahunna faamsikoohunna bimaAAroofin aw fariqoohunna bimaAAroofin waashhidoo thaway AAadlin minkum waaqeemoo alshshahadata lillahi thalikum yooAAathu bihi man kana yuminu biAllahi waalyawmi alakhiri waman yattaqi Allaha yajAAal lahu makhrajan
Yusuf Ali 2:	Thus when they fulfil their term appointed, either take them back on equitable terms or part with them on equitable terms; and take for witness two persons from among you, endued with justice, and establish the evidence (as) before Allah. Such is the admonition given to him who believes in Allah and the Last Day. And for those who fear Allah, He (ever) prepares a way out,
Shakir 2:	So when they have reached their prescribed time, then retain them with kindness or separate them with kindness, and call to witness two men of justice from among you, and give upright testimony for Allah. With that is admonished he who believes in Allah and the latter day; and whoever is careful of (his duty to) Allah, He will make for him an outlet,
Pickthal 2:	Then, when they have reached their term, take them back in kindness or part from them in kindness, and call to witness two just men among you, and keep your testimony upright for Allah. Whoso believeth in Allah and the Last Day is exhorted to act thus. And whosoever keepeth his duty to Allah, Allah will appoint a way out for him,
Mohsin Khan: 2:	Then when they are about to attain their term appointed, either take them back in a good manner or part with them in a good manner. And take as witness two just persons from among you (Muslims). And establish the testimony for Allah. That will be an admonition given to him who believes in Allah and the Last Day. And whosoever fears Allah and keeps his duty to Him, He will make a way for him to get out (from every difficulty).
French 2:	Puis quand elles atteignent le terme prescrit, retenez-les de façon convenable, ou séparez-vous d'elles de façon convenable; et prenez deux hommes intègres parmi vous comme témoins. Et acquittez-vous du témoignage envers Allah. Voilà ce à quoi est exhorté celui qui croit en Allah et au Jour dernier. Et quiconque craint Allah, il lui donnera une issue favorable,
Spanish 2:	Cuando lleguen a su término, retenedlas decorosamente o separaos de ellas decorosamente. Y requerid el testimonio de dos personas justas de los vuestros y atestiguad ante Alá. A esto se exhorta a quien cree en Alá y en el último Día. A quien teme a Alá, Él le da una salida
Indonesian 2:	Apabila mereka telah mendekati akhir iddahnya, maka rujukilah mereka dengan baik atau lepaskanlah mereka dengan baik dan persaksikanlah dengan dua orang saksi yang adil di antara kamu dan hendaklah kamu tegakkan kesaksian itu karena Allah. Demikianlah diberi pengajaran dengan itu orang yang beriman kepada Allah dan hari akhirat. Barangsiapa yang bertakwa kepada Allah niscaya Dia akan mengadakan baginya jalan keluar.
Melayu 2:	Kemudian, apabila mereka (hampir) habis tempoh idahnya, maka bolehlah kamu pegang mereka (rujuk) dengan cara yang baik atau lepaskan mereka dengan cara yang baik dan adakanlah dua orang saksi yang adil di antara kamu (semasa kamu merujukkan atau melepaskannya) dan hendaklah kamu (yang menjadi saksi) menyempurnakan persaksian itu kerana Allah semata-mata. Dengan hukum-hukum yang tersebut diberi peringatan dan pengajaran kepada sesiapa yang beriman kepada Allah dan hari akhirat dan sesiapa yang bertakwa kepada Allah (dengan mengerjakan suruhanNya dan meninggalkan laranganNya), nescaya Allah akan mengadakan baginya jalan keluar (dari segala perkara yang menyusahkannya),
German 2:	Wenn sie aber ihren Termin erreicht haben, dann haltet sie in Güte zurück oder trennt euch in Güte von ihnen; und nehmt als Zeugen Leute von Billigkeit unter euch, und legt Zeugnis vor Allah ab. Dies ist eine Ermahnung für diejenigen, die an Allah und an den Jüngsten Tag glauben; und dem, der Allah fürchtet, verschafft Er einen Ausweg
Russian 2:	Когда для них наступит установленный срок, оставьте их у себя по-хорошему или же отпустите по-хорошему. Призовите свидетелями двух справедливых мужей из вас и будьте свидетелями ради Аллаха. Таково увещевание для тех, кто верует в Аллаха и в Последний день. Тому, кто боится Аллаха, Он создает выход из положения
Bosnian 2:	I dok traje vrijeme određeno za čekanje, vi ih ili na lijep način zadržite ili se velikodušno od njih konačno rastavite i kao svjedoke dvojicu vaših pravednih ljudi uzmite, i svjedočenje Allaha radi obavite! To je savjet za onoga koji u Allaha i u onaj svijet vjeruje - a onome koji se Allaha boji, On će izlaz naći
Urdu 2:	پس جب وہ اپنی عدت کو پہنچ جائیں تو انہیں دستور سے رکھ لو یا انہیں دستور سے چھوڑ دو اور دو معتبر آدمی اپنے میں سے گواہ کر لو اور الله کے لیے گواہی پوری دو یہ نصیحت کی باتیں انہیں سمجھائی جاتی ہیں جو الله اور قیامت پر ایمان رکھتے ہیں اور جو الله سے ڈرتا ہے الله اس کے لیے نجات کی صورت نکال دیتا ہے
3	وَيَرْزُقْهُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَحْتَسِبُ ۚ وَمَن يَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللَّهِ فَهُوَ حَسْبُهُ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ بَالِغُ أَمْرِهِ ۚ قَدْ جَعَلَ اللَّهُ لِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدْرًا
Transliteration 3:	Wayarzuqhu min haythu la yahtasibu waman yatawakkal AAala Allahi fahuwa hasbuhu inna Allaha balighu amrihi qad jaAAala Allahu likulli shayin qadran
Yusuf Ali 3:	And He provides for him from (sources) he never could imagine. And if any one puts his trust in Allah, sufficient is ((Allah)) for him. For Allah will surely accomplish his purpose: verily, for all things has Allah appointed a due proportion.
Shakir 3:	And give him sustenance from whence he thinks not; and whoever trusts in Allah, He is sufficient for him; surely Allah attains His purpose; Allah indeed has appointed a measure for everything.
Pickthal 3:	And will provide for him from (a quarter) whence he hath no expectation. And whosoever putteth his trust in Allah, He will suffice him. Lo! Allah bringeth His command to pass. Allah hath set a measure for all things.
Mohsin Khan: 3:	And He will provide him from (sources) he never could imagine. And whosoever puts his trust in Allah, then He will suffice him. Verily, Allah will accomplish his purpose. Indeed Allah has set a measure for all things.
French 3:	et lui accordera Ses dons par [des moyens] sur lesquels il ne comptait pas. Et quiconque place sa confiance en Allah, Il [Allah] lui suffit. Allah atteint ce qu'Il Se propose, et Allah a assigné une mesure à chaque chose.
Spanish 3:	y le provee de un modo insospechado por él. A quien confía en Alá, Él le basta. Alá consigue lo que se propone. Alá ha establecido una medida para cada cosa.
Indonesian 3:	Dan memberinya rezki dari arah yang tiada disangka-sangkanya. Dan barangsiapa yang bertawakkal kepada Allah niscaya Allah akan mencukupkan (keperluan) nya. Sesungguhnya Allah melaksanakan urusan (yang dikehendaki) Nya. Sesungguhnya Allah telah mengadakan ketentuan bagi tiap-tiap sesuatu.
Melayu 3:	Serta memberinya rezeki dari jalan yang tidak terlintas di hatinya dan (Ingatlah), sesiapa berserah diri bulat-bulat kepada Allah, maka Allah cukuplah baginya (untuk menolong dan menyelamatkannya). Sesungguhnya Allah tetap melakukan segala perkara yang dikehendakiNya. Allah telahpun menentukan kadar dan masa bagi berlakunya tiap-tiap sesuatu.
German 3:	und versorgt ihn in der Art und Weise, mit der er nicht rechnet. Und wer auf Allah vertraut - für den ist Er sein Genüge. Wahrlich, Allah setzt durch, was Er will; siehe Allah hat für alles eine Bestimmung gemacht.
Russian 3:	и наделяет его уделом оттуда, откуда он даже не предполагает. Тому, кто уповает на Аллаха, достаточно Его. Аллах доводит до конца Свое дело. Аллах установил меру для каждой вещи.
Bosnian 3:	i opskrbiće ga odakle se i ne nada; onome koji se u Allaha uzda, On mu je dosta. Allah će, zaista, ispuniti ono što je odlučio; Allah je svemu već rok odredio.
Urdu 3:	اور اسے رزق دیتا ہے جہاں سے اسے گمان بھی نہ ہو اور جو الله پر بھروسہ کرتا ہے سو وہی اس کو کافی ہے بے شک الله اپنا حکم پورا کرنے والا ہے الله نے ہر چیز کے لیے ایک اندازہ مقرر کر دیا ہے
4	وَاللَّائِي يَئِسْنَ مِنَ الْمَحِيضِ مِن نِّسَائِكُمْ إِنِ ارْتَبْتُمْ فَعِدَّتُهُنَّ ثَلَاثَةُ أَشْهُرٍ وَاللَّائِي لَمْ يَحِضْنَ ۚ وَأُولَاتُ الْأَحْمَالِ أَجَلُهُنَّ أَن يَضَعْنَ حَمْلَهُنَّ ۚ وَمَن يَتَّقِ اللَّهَ يَجْعَل لَّهُ مِنْ أَمْرِهِ يُسْرًا
Transliteration 4:	Waallaee yaisna mina almaheedi min nisaikum ini irtabtum faAAiddatuhunna thalathatu ashhurin waallaee lam yahidna waolatu alahmali ajaluhunna an yadaAAna hamlahunna waman yattaqi Allaha yajAAal lahu min amrihi yusran
Yusuf Ali 4:	Such of your women as have passed the age of monthly courses, for them the prescribed period, if ye have any doubts, is three months, and for those who have no courses (it is the same): for those who carry (life within their wombs), their period is until they deliver their burdens: and for those who fear Allah, He will make their path easy.
Shakir 4:	And (as for) those of your women who have despaired of menstruation, if you have a doubt, their prescribed time shall be three months, and of those too who have not had their courses; and (as for) the pregnant women, their prescribed time is that they lay down their burden; and whoever is careful of (his duty to) Allah He will make easy for him his affair.
Pickthal 4:	And for such of your women as despair of menstruation, if ye doubt, their period (of waiting) shall be three months, along with those who have it not. And for those with child, their period shall be till they bring forth their burden. And whosoever keepeth his duty to Allah, He maketh his course easy for him.
Mohsin Khan: 4:	And those of your women as have passed the age of monthly courses, for them the 'Iddah (prescribed period), if you have doubt (about their periods), is three months; and for those who have no courses [(i.e. they are still immature) their 'Iddah (prescribed period) is three months likewise, except in case of death] . And for those who are pregnant (whether they are divorced or their husbands are dead), their 'Iddah (prescribed period) is until they lay down their burden; and whosoever fears Allah and keeps his duty to Him, He will make his matter easy for him.
French 4:	Si vous avez des doutes à propos (de la période d'attente) de vos femmes qui n'espèrent plus avoir de règles, leur délai est de trois mois. De même pour celles qui n'ont pas encore de règles. Et quant à celles qui sont enceintes, leur période d'attente se terminera à leur accouchement. Quiconque craint Allah cependant, Il lui facilite les choses.
Spanish 4:	Para aquéllas de vuestras mujeres que ya no esperan tener la menstruación, si tenéis dudas, su período de espera será de tres meses; lo mismo para las impúberes. Para las embarazadas, su período de espera terminará cuando den a luz. A quien teme a Alá, Él le facilita sus cosas.
Indonesian 4:	Dan perempuan-perempuan yang tidak haidh lagi (monopause) di antara perempuan-perempuanmu jika kamu ragu-ragu (tentang masa idahnya) maka idah mereka adalah tiga bulan; dan begitu (pula) perempuan-perempuan yang tidak haidh. Dan perempuan-perempuan yang hamil, waktu idah mereka itu ialah sampai mereka melahirkan kandungannya. Dan barangsiapa yang bertakwa kepada Allah niscaya Allah menjadikan baginya kemudahan dalam urusannya.
Melayu 4:	Dan perempuan-perempuan dari kalangan kamu yang putus asa dari kedatangan haid, jika kamu menaruh syak (terhadap tempoh idah mereka) maka idahnya ialah tiga bulan dan (demikian) juga idah perempuan-perempuan yang tidak berhaid. Dan perempuan-perempuan mengandung, tempoh idahnya ialah hingga mereka melahirkan anak yang dikandungnya dan (ingatlah), sesiapa yang bertakwa kepada Allah, nescaya Allah memudahkan baginya segala urusannya.
German 4:	Wenn ihr Zweifel hegt (über) jene eurer Frauen, die keine Menstruation mehr erhoffen, (dann wisset, daß) ihre Frist drei Monate beträgt, und (das gleiche gilt für) diejenigen, die noch keine Menstruation gehabt haben. Und für die Schwangeren soll die Frist solange dauern, bis sie zur Welt bringen, was sie getragen haben. Und dem, der Allah fürchtet, wird Er Erleichterung in seinen Angelegenheiten verschaffen.
Russian 4:	Для тех из ваших женщин, у которых прекратились менструации, если вы сомневаетесь, установленный для развода срок равен трем месяцам, как и для тех, у которых не было менструаций. Для беременных срок установлен до тех пор, пока они не разрешатся от бремени. Тому, кто боится Аллаха, Он облегчает дела.
Bosnian 4:	A one žene vaše koje su nadu u mjesečno pranje izgubile i one koje ga nisu ni dobile, one trebaju čekati tri mjeseca, ako niste znali. Trudne žene čekaju sve dok ne rode. - A onome ko se Allaha boji, On će sve što mu treba učiniti dostupnim.
Urdu 4:	اور تمہاری عورتوں میں سے جن کو حیض کی امید نہیں رہی ہے اگر تمہیں شبہ ہو تو ان کی عدت تین مہینے ہیں اور ان کی بھی جنہیں ابھی حیض نہیں آیا اور حمل والیوں کی عدت ان کے بچہ جننے تک ہے اور جو الله سے ڈرتا ہے وہ اس کے کام آسان کر دیتا ہے
5	ذَ‌ٰلِكَ أَمْرُ اللَّهِ أَنزَلَهُ إِلَيْكُمْ ۚ وَمَن يَتَّقِ اللَّهَ يُكَفِّرْ عَنْهُ سَيِّئَاتِهِ وَيُعْظِمْ لَهُ أَجْرًا
Transliteration 5:	Thalika amru Allahi anzalahu ilaykum waman yattaqi Allaha yukaffir AAanhu sayyiatihi wayuAAthim lahu ajran
Yusuf Ali 5:	That is the Command of Allah, which He has sent down to you: and if any one fears Allah, He will remove his ills, from him, and will enlarge his reward.
Shakir 5:	That is the command of Allah which He has revealed to you, and whoever is careful of (his duty to) Allah, He will remove from him his evil and give him a big reward.
Pickthal 5:	That is the commandment of Allah which He revealeth unto you. And whoso keepeth his duty to Allah, He will remit from him his evil deeds and magnify reward for him.
Mohsin Khan: 5:	That is the Command of Allah, which He has sent down to you; and whosoever fears Allah and keeps his duty to Him, He will expiate from him his sins, and will enlarge his reward.
French 5:	Tel est le commandement d'Allah qu'Il a fait descendre vers vous. Quiconque craint Allah cependant, il lui efface ses fautes et lui accorde une grosse récompense.
Spanish 5:	Ésta es la orden que Alá os ha revelado. Alá borra las malas obras de quien Le teme y le da una magnífica recompensa.
Indonesian 5:	Itulah perintah Allah yang diturunkan-Nya kepada kamu; dan barangsiapa yang bertakwa kepada Allah niscaya Dia akan menghapus kesalahan-kesalahannya dan akan melipat gandakan pahala baginya.
Melayu 5:	Peraturan-peraturan yang demikian adalah hukum-hukum Allah yang diturunkan dan diterangkanNya kepada kamu dan (ingatlah), sesiapa yang bertakwa kepada Allah, nescaya Allah menghapuskan kesalahan-kesalahannya dan akan membesarkan pahala balasannya.
German 5:	Das ist Allahs Befehl, den Er euch herabgesandt hat. Und wer Allah fürchtet - Er wird seine Ubel von ihm nehmen und ihm einen würdigen Lohn geben.
Russian 5:	Таково повеление Аллаха, которое Он ниспослал вам. Тому, кто боится Аллаха, Он простит злодеяния и увеличит награду.
Bosnian 5:	To su, eto, Allahovi propisi, koje vam On objavljuje. A onome ko se bude Allaha bojao - On će preko ružnih postupaka njegovih preći i još mu veliku nagradu dati.
Urdu 5:	یہ الله کا حکم ہے جو اس نے تمہاری طرف نازل کیا ہے اور جو الله سے ڈرتا ہے وہ اس سے اس کی برائیاں دور کر دیتا ہے اور اسے بڑااجر بھی دیتا ہے
6	أَسْكِنُوهُنَّ مِنْ حَيْثُ سَكَنتُم مِّن وُجْدِكُمْ وَلَا تُضَارُّوهُنَّ لِتُضَيِّقُوا عَلَيْهِنَّ ۚ وَإِن كُنَّ أُولَاتِ حَمْلٍ فَأَنفِقُوا عَلَيْهِنَّ حَتَّىٰ يَضَعْنَ حَمْلَهُنَّ ۚ فَإِنْ أَرْضَعْنَ لَكُمْ فَآتُوهُنَّ أُجُورَهُنَّ ۖ وَأْتَمِرُوا بَيْنَكُم بِمَعْرُوفٍ ۖ وَإِن تَعَاسَرْتُمْ فَسَتُرْضِعُ لَهُ أُخْرَىٰ
Transliteration 6:	Askinoohunna min haythu sakantum min wujdikum wala tudarroohunna litudayyiqoo AAalayhinna wain kunna olati hamlin faanfiqoo AAalayhinna hatta yadaAAna hamlahunna fain ardaAAna lakum faatoohunna ojoorahunna watamiroo baynakum bimaAAroofin wain taAAasartum fasaturdiAAu lahu okhra
Yusuf Ali 6:	Let the women live (in 'iddat) in the same style as ye live, according to your means: Annoy them not, so as to restrict them. And if they carry (life in their wombs), then spend (your substance) on them until they deliver their burden: and if they suckle your (offspring), give them their recompense: and take mutual counsel together, according to what is just and reasonable. And if ye find yourselves in difficulties, let another woman suckle (the child) on the (father's) behalf.
Shakir 6:	Lodge them where you lodge according to your means, and do not injure them in order that you may straiten them; and if they are pregnant, spend on them until they lay down their burden; then if they suckle for you, give them their recompense and enjoin one another among you to do good; and if you disagree, another (woman) shall suckle for him.
Pickthal 6:	Lodge them where ye dwell, according to your wealth, and harass them not so as to straiten life for them. And if they are with child, then spend for them till they bring forth their burden. Then, if they give suck for you, give them their due payment and consult together in kindness; but if ye make difficulties for one another, then let some other woman give suck for him (the father of the child).
Mohsin Khan: 6:	Lodge them (the divorced women) where you dwell, according to your means, and do not harm them so as to straiten them (that they be obliged to leave your house). And if they are pregnant, then spend on them till they lay down their burden. Then if they give suck to the children for you, give them their due payment, and let each of you accept the advice of the other in a just way. But if you make difficulties for one another, then some other woman may give suck for him (the father of the child).
French 6:	Et faites que ces femmes habitent où vous habitez, et suivant vos moyens. Et ne cherchez pas à leur nuire en les contraignant à vivre à l'étroit. Et si elle sont enceintes, pourvoyez à leurs besoins jusqu'à ce qu'elles aient accouché. Puis, si elles allaitent [l'enfant né] de vous, donnez-leur leurs salaires. Et concertez-vous [à ce sujet] de façon convenable. Et si vous rencontrez des difficultés réciproques, alors, une autre allaitera pour lui.
Spanish 6:	¡Alojadlas, según vuestros medios, en vuestra misma vivienda! ¡No les hagáis daño con ánimo de molestarlas! Si están embarazadas, proveedles de lo necesario hasta que den a luz. Si la criatura que crían es vuestra, retribuidles como es debido y llegad a un acuerdo decoroso. Si encontráis alguna dificultad, entonces, tomad un ama a cuenta vuestra.
Indonesian 6:	Tempatkanlah mereka (para isteri) di mana kamu bertempat tinggal menurut kemampuanmu dan janganlah kamu menyusahkan mereka untuk menyempitkan (hati) mereka. Dan jika mereka (isteri-isteri yang sudah ditalak) itu sedang hamil, maka berikanlah kepada mereka nafkahnya hingga mereka bersalin, kemudian jika mereka menyusukan (anak-anak)mu untukmu, maka berikanlah kepada mereka upahnya; dan musyawarahkanlah di antara kamu (segala sesuatu), dengan baik; dan jika kamu menemui kesulitan maka perempuan lain boleh menyusukan (anak itu) untuknya.
Melayu 6:	Tempatkanlah isteri-isteri (yang menjalani idahnya) itu di tempat kediaman kamu sesuai dengan kemampuan kamu dan janganlah kamu adakan sesuatu yang menyakiti mereka (di tempat tinggal itu) dengan tujuan hendak menyusahkan kedudukan mereka (supaya mereka keluar meninggalkan tempat itu) dan jika mereka berkeadaan sedang mengandung, maka berikanlah kepada mereka nafkahnya sehingga mereka melahirkan anak yang dikandungnya; kemudian jika mereka menyusukan anak untuk kamu, maka berikanlah kepada mereka upahnya dan berundinglah di antara kamu (dalam hal menyusunya) dengan cara yang baik dan (sebaliknya) jika kamu (dari kedua pihak) mengalami kesulitan, maka bolehlah perempuan lain menyusukannya.
German 6:	Laßt sie wohnen, wo ihr wohnt, gemäß euren Mitteln; und tut ihnen nichts zuleide in der Absicht, es ihnen schwer zu machen. Und wenn sie schwanger sind, so bestreitet ihren Unterhalt, bis sie zur Welt bringen, was sie getragen haben. Und wenn sie (das Kind) für euch stillen, (dann) gebt ihnen ihren Lohn und geht gütig miteinander um; wenn ihr aber Schwierigkeiten miteinander habt, dann soll eine andere (das Kind) für den (Vater) stillen.
Russian 6:	Поселяйте их там, где вы живете сами – по вашему достатку. Не причиняйте им вреда, желая стеснить их. Если они беременны, то содержите их, пока они не разрешатся от бремени. Если они кормят грудью для вас, то платите им вознаграждение и советуйтесь между собой по-хорошему. Если же вы станете обременять друг друга, то кормить для него будет другая женщина.
Bosnian 6:	Njih ostavite da stanuju tamo gdje i vi stanujete, prema svojim mogućnostima, i ne činite im teškoće zato da biste ih stijesnili. Ako su trudne, dajte im izdržavanje sve dok se ne porode, a ako vam djecu doje, onda im dajte zasluženu nagradu sporazumjevši se međusobno na lijep način. A ako nastanu razmirice, neka mu onda druga doji dijete.
Urdu 6:	طلاق دی ہوئی عورتوں کو وہیں رکھو جہاں تم اپنے مقدور کے موافق رہتے ہو اورانہیں ایذا نہ دو انہیں تنگ کرنے کے لیے اور اگر وہ حاملہ ہوں تو انہیں نان ونفقہ دو جب تک وہ وضع حمل کریں پس اگر پلائيں دودھ تمہارے لیے تو دو ان کو ان کی اجرت دو اور آپس میں دستور کے مطابق مشورہ کر لو اور اگر تم آپس میں تنگی کرو تو اس کے لیے دوسری عورت دودھ پلائے گی
7	لِيُنفِقْ ذُو سَعَةٍ مِّن سَعَتِهِ ۖ وَمَن قُدِرَ عَلَيْهِ رِزْقُهُ فَلْيُنفِقْ مِمَّا آتَاهُ اللَّهُ ۚ لَا يُكَلِّفُ اللَّهُ نَفْسًا إِلَّا مَا آتَاهَا ۚ سَيَجْعَلُ اللَّهُ بَعْدَ عُسْرٍ يُسْرًا
Transliteration 7:	Liyunfiq thoo saAAatin min saAAatihi waman qudira AAalayhi rizquhu falyunfiq mimma atahu Allahu la yukallifu Allahu nafsan illa ma ataha sayajAAalu Allahu baAAda AAusrin yusran
Yusuf Ali 7:	Let the man of means spend according to his means: and the man whose resources are restricted, let him spend according to what Allah has given him. Allah puts no burden on any person beyond what He has given him. After a difficulty, Allah will soon grant relief.
Shakir 7:	Let him who has abundance spend out of his abundance and whoever has his means of subsistence straitened to him, let him spend out of that which Allah has given him; Allah does not lay on any soul a burden except to the extent to which He has granted it; Allah brings about ease after difficulty.
Pickthal 7:	Let him who hath abundance spend of his abundance, and he whose provision is measured, let him spend of that which Allah hath given him. Allah asketh naught of any soul save that which He hath given it. Allah will vouchsafe, after hardship, ease.
Mohsin Khan: 7:	Let the rich man spend according to his means; and the man whose resources are restricted, let him spend according to what Allah has given him. Allah puts no burden on any person beyond what He has given him. Allah will grant after hardship, ease.

Spanish 7:	¡Que el acomodado gaste según sus medios! Quien disponga de medios limitados ¡que gaste según lo que Alá le haya dado! Alá no pide a nadie sino lo que le ha dado. Alá hará que a la adversidad suceda la felicidad.
Indonesian 7:	Hendaklah orang yang mampu memberi nafkah menurut kemampuannya. Dan orang yang disempitkan rezkinya hendaklah memberi nafkah dari harta yang diberikan Allah kepadanya. Allah tidak memikulkan beban kepada seseorang melainkan (sekedar) apa yang Allah berikan kepadanya. Allah kelak akan memberikan kelapangan sesudah kesempitan.
Melayu 7:	Hendaklah orang yang mampu memberi nafkah menurut kemampuannya dan sesiapa yang di sempitkan rezekinya, maka hendaklah dia memberi nafkah dari apa yang diberikan Allah kepadanya (sekadar yang mampu); Allah tidak memberati seseorang melainkan (sekadar kemampuan) yang diberikan Allah kepadanya. (Orang-orang yang dalam kesempitan hendaklah ingat bahawa) Allah akan memberikan kesenangan sesudah berlakunya kesusahan.
German 7:	Jeder soll aus seiner Fülle ausgeben, wenn er die Fülle hat; und der, dessen Mittel beschränkt sind, soll gemäß dem ausgeben, was ihm Allah gegeben hat. Allah fordert von keiner Seele etwas über das hinaus, was Er ihr gegeben hat. Allah wird nach einer Bedrängnis Erleichterung schaffen.
Russian 7:	Пусть обладающий достатком расходует согласно своему достатку. А тот, кто стеснен в средствах, пусть расходует из того, чем его одарил Аллах. Аллах не возлагает на человека сверх того, что Он даровал ему. После тяготы Аллах создает облегчение.
Bosnian 7:	Neka imućan prema bogatstvu svome troši, a onaj koji je u oskudici - prema tome koliko mu je Allah dao, jer Allah nikoga ne zadužuje više nego što mu je dao; Allah će, sigurno, poslije tegobe last dati.
Urdu 7:	مقدور والا اپنے مقدور کے موافق خرچ کرے اور اگر تنگ دست ہو تو جو کچھ الله نے اسے دیا ہے اس میں سے خرچ کرے الله کسی کو تکلیف نہیں دیتا مگر اسی قدر جو اسے دے رکھا ہے عنقریب الله تنگی کے بعد آسانی کر دے گا
8	وَكَأَيِّن مِّن قَرْيَةٍ عَتَتْ عَنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّهَا وَرُسُلِهِ فَحَاسَبْنَاهَا حِسَابًا شَدِيدًا وَعَذَّبْنَاهَا عَذَابًا نُّكْرًا
Transliteration 8:	Wakaayyin min qaryatin AAatat AAan amri rabbiha warusulihi fahasabnaha hisaban shadeedan waAAaththabnaha AAathaban nukran
Yusuf Ali 8:	How many populations that insolently opposed the Command of their Lord and of His apostles, did We not then call to account,- to severe account?- and We imposed on them an exemplary Punishment.
Shakir 8:	And how many a town which rebelled against the commandment of its Lord and His messengers, so We called it to account severely and We chastised it (with) a stern chastisement.
Pickthal 8:	And how many a community revolted against the ordinance of its Lord and His messengers, and We called it to a stern account and punished it with dire punishment,
Mohsin Khan: 8:	And many a town (population) revolted against the Command of its Lord and His Messengers; and We called it to a severe account (i.e. torment in this worldly life), and We shall punish it with a horrible torment (in Hell in the Hereafter).

Indonesian 8:	Dan berapalah banyaknya (penduduk) negeri yang mendurhakai perintah Tuhan mereka dan rasul-rasul-Nya, maka Kami hisab penduduk negeri itu dengan hisab yang keras, dan Kami azab mereka dengan azab yang mengerikan .
Melayu 8:	Dan bukan sedikit negeri-negeri yang penduduknya menderhaka terhadap perintah Tuhan mereka dan Rasul-rasulNya, maka Kami hitung amal mereka satu persatu dengan hitungan yang keras rapi, serta Kami seksakan mereka dengan azab yang tidak pernah dikenal dahsyatnya.
German 8:	Und so manche Stadt widersetzte sich dem Befehl ihres Herrn und Seiner Gesandten, und Wir zogen sie streng zur Rechenschaft und bestraften sie mit gräßlicher Strafe!
Russian 8:	Сколько городов ослушались повелений своего Господа и Его посланников! Мы представили им суровый счет и подвергли их ужасным мучениям.
Bosnian 8:	A koliko se sela i gradova oglušilo o naređenje Gospodara njihova i poslanika Njegovih; Mi ćemo od njih zatražiti da nam potanko račun polože i užasnom kaznom ćemo ih kazniti;
Urdu 8:	اور کتنی ہی بستیاں اپنے رب اوراس کے رسولوں کے حکم سے سر کش ہوگئیں پھر ہم نے بھی ان سے سخت حساب لیا اور ان کو بری سزا دی
9	فَذَاقَتْ وَبَالَ أَمْرِهَا وَكَانَ عَاقِبَةُ أَمْرِهَا خُسْرًا
Transliteration 9:	Fathaqat wabala amriha wakana AAaqibatu amriha khusran
Yusuf Ali 9:	Then did they taste the evil result of their conduct, and the End of their conduct was Perdition.
Shakir 9:	So it tasted the evil result of its conduct, and the end of its affair was perdition.
Pickthal 9:	So that it tasted the ill-effects of its conduct, and the consequence of its conduct was loss.
Mohsin Khan: 9:	So it tasted the evil result of its affair (disbelief), and the consequence of its affair (disbelief) was loss (destruction in this life and an eternal punishment in the Hereafter).
French 9:	Elles goûtèrent donc la conséquence de leur comportement. Et le résultat final de leurs actions fut [leur] perdition.

German 9:	So kostete sie die bösen Folgen ihres Betragens, und am Ende ihres Betragens stand ein Verlust.

10	أَعَدَّ اللَّهُ لَهُمْ عَذَابًا شَدِيدًا ۖ فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ يَا أُولِي الْأَلْبَابِ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا ۚ قَدْ أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ إِلَيْكُمْ ذِكْرًا
Transliteration 10:	aAAadda Allahu lahum AAathaban shadeedan faittaqoo Allaha ya olee alalbabi allatheena amanoo qad anzala Allahu ilaykum thikran
Yusuf Ali 10:	Allah has prepared for them a severe Punishment (in the Hereafter). Therefore fear Allah, O ye men of understanding - who have believed!- for Allah hath indeed sent down to you a Message,-
Shakir 10:	Allah has prepared for them severe chastisement, therefore be careful of (your duty to) Allah, O men of understanding who believe! Allah has indeed revealed to you a reminder,
Pickthal 10:	Allah hath prepared for them stern punishment; so keep your duty to Allah, O men of understanding! O ye who believe! Now Allah hath sent down unto you a reminder,
Mohsin Khan: 10:	Allah has prepared for them a severe torment. So fear Allah and keep your duty to Him, O men of understanding who have believed! Allah has indeed sent down to you a Reminder (this Qur'an).

11	رَّسُولًا يَتْلُو عَلَيْكُمْ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ مُبَيِّنَاتٍ لِّيُخْرِجَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ مِنَ الظُّلُمَاتِ إِلَى النُّورِ ۚ وَمَن يُؤْمِن بِاللَّهِ وَيَعْمَلْ صَالِحًا يُدْخِلْهُ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا أَبَدًا ۖ قَدْ أَحْسَنَ اللَّهُ لَهُ رِزْقًا
Transliteration 11:	Rasoolan yatloo AAalaykum ayati Allahi mubayyinatin liyukhrija allatheena amanoo waAAamiloo alssalihati mina alththulumati ila alnnoori waman yumin biAllahi wayaAAmal salihan yudkhilhu jannatin tajree min tahtiha alanharu khalideena feeha abadan qad ahsana Allahu lahu rizqan
Yusuf Ali 11:	An Messenger, who rehearses to you the Signs of Allah containing clear explanations, that he may lead forth those who believe and do righteous deeds from the depths of Darkness into Light. And those who believe in Allah and work righteousness, He will admit to Gardens beneath which Rivers flow, to dwell therein for ever: Allah has indeed granted for them a most excellent Provision.
Shakir 11:	An Messenger who recites to you the clear communications of Allah so that he may bring forth those who believe and do good deeds from darkness into light; and whoever believes in Allah and does good deeds, He will cause him to enter gardens beneath which rivers now, to abide therein forever, Allah has indeed given him a goodly sustenance.
Pickthal 11:	A messenger reciting unto you the revelations of Allah made plain, that He may bring forth those who believe and do good works from darkness unto light. And whosoever believeth in Allah and doeth right, He will bring him into Gardens underneath which rivers flow, therein to abide for ever. Allah hath made good provision for him.
Mohsin Khan: 11:	(And has also sent to you) a Messenger (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم), who recites to you the Verses of Allah (the Qur'an) containing clear explanations, that He may take out those who believe and do righteous good deeds, from the darkness (of polytheism and disbelief) to the light (of Islamic Monotheism). And whosoever believes in Allah and performs righteous good deeds, He will admit him into Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise) to dwell therein forever. Allah has indeed granted for him an excellent provision.
French 11:	un Messager qui vous récite les versets d'Allah comme preuves claires, afin de faire sortir ceux qui croient et accomplissent les bonnes oeuvres des ténèbres à la lumière. Et quiconque croit en Allah et fait le bien, Il le fait entrer aux Jardins sous lesquels coulent les ruisseaux, pour y demeurer éternellement. Allah lui a fait une belle attribution.
Spanish 11:	un Enviado que os recita aleyas aclaratorias de Alá, para sacar de las tinieblas a la luz a quienes creen y obran bien. A quien cree en Alá y obra bien, Él le introducirá en jardines por cuyos bajos fluyen arroyos, en los que estarán eternamente, para siempre. Alá le ha reservado un bello sustento.
Indonesian 11:	(dan mengutus) seorang Rasul yang membacakan kepadamu ayat-ayat Allah yang menerangkan (bermacam-macam hukum) supaya Dia mengeluarkan orang-orang yang beriman dan mengerjakan amal-amal yang saleh dari kegelapan kepada cahaya. Dan barangsiapa beriman kepada Allah dan mengerjakan amal yang saleh niscaya Allah akan memasukkannya ke dalam surga-surga yang mengalir di bawahnya sungai-sungai; mereka kekal di dalamnya selama-lamanya. Sesungguhnya Allah memberikan rezki yang baik kepadanya.
Melayu 11:	(Dengan mengutuskan) seorang Rasul (Nabi Muhammad s.a.w) yang membacakan kepada kamu ayat-ayat Allah yang menerangkan kebenaran, supaya Allah mengeluarkan orang-orang (yang sedia diketahuiNya akan) beriman dan beramal soleh dari gelap-gelita (kesesatan) kepada cahaya (hidayat petunjuk) dan (ingatlah), sesiapa yang beriman kepada Allah dan beramal soleh, akan dimasukkan oleh Allah ke dalam Syurga yang mengalir di bawahnya beberapa sungai, kekallah mereka di dalamnya selama-lamanya. Sesungguhnya Allah (dengan yang demikian) telah mengurniakan kepadanya sebaik-baik pemberian.
German 11:	einen Gesandten, der euch die deutlichen Verse Allahs verliest, auf daß er jene, die glauben und gute Werke tun, aus den Finsternissen ans Licht führe. Und den, der an Allah glaubt und recht handelt, wird Er in Gärten führen, durch die Bäche fließen, worin (er) auf ewig verweilen wird. Allah hat ihm wahrlich eine treffliche Versorgung gewährt.
Russian 11:	Посланника, который читает вам ясные аяты Аллаха, чтобы вывести тех, которые уверовали и совершали праведные деяния, из мраков к свету. Тех, которые уверовали в Аллаха и поступали праведно, Аллах введет в Райские сады, в которых текут реки. Они пребудут там вечно. Аллах уже сделал их удел прекрасным!
Bosnian 11:	Poslanika, koji vam Allahove ajete jasne kazuje, da bi iz tmina na svjetlo izveo one koji vjeruju i dobra djela čine. A onoga koji bude u Allaha vjerovao i dobro činio - uvešće u džennetske bašče, kroz koje će rijeke teći, i vječno i zauvijek će u njima ostati, divnu će mu opskrbu Allah davati.
Urdu 11:	یعنی ایک رسول جو تمہیں الله کی واضح آیتیں پڑھ کر سناتا ہے تاکہ جو ایمان لائے اورانہوں نے نیک کام بھی کیے انہیں اندھیروں سے نکال کر روشنی میں لے جائے اورجو الله پر ایمان لائے اور اس نے نیک کام بھی کیے تو اسے ایسے باغوں میں داخل کرے گا جن کے نیچے نہریں بہتی ہوں گی وہ ان میں سدا رہیں گے الله نے اس کو بہت اچھی روزی دی ہے
12	اللَّهُ الَّذِي خَلَقَ سَبْعَ سَمَاوَاتٍ وَمِنَ الْأَرْضِ مِثْلَهُنَّ يَتَنَزَّلُ الْأَمْرُ بَيْنَهُنَّ لِتَعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ قَدْ أَحَاطَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عِلْمًا
Transliteration 12:	Allahu allathee khalaqa sabAAa samawatin wamina alardi mithlahunna yatanazzalu alamru baynahunna litaAAlamoo anna Allaha AAala kulli shayin qadeerun waanna Allaha qad ahata bikulli shayin AAilman
Yusuf Ali 12:	Allah is He Who created seven Firmaments and of the earth a similar number. Through the midst of them (all) descends His Command: that ye may know that Allah has power over all things, and that Allah comprehends, all things in (His) Knowledge.
Shakir 12:	Allah is He Who created seven heavens, and of the earth the like of them; the decree continues to descend among them, that you may know that Allah has power over all things and that Allah indeed encompasses all things in (His) knowledge.
