| 51 | ۞ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَتَّخِذُوا الْيَهُودَ وَالنَّصَارَىٰ أَوْلِيَاءَ ۘ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَاءُ بَعْضٍ ۚ وَمَن يَتَوَلَّهُم مِّنكُمْ فَإِنَّهُ مِنْهُمْ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِمِينَ |
| Transliteration 51: | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo la tattakhithoo alyahooda waalnnasara awliyaa baAAduhum awliyao baAAdin waman yatawallahum minkum fainnahu minhum inna Allaha la yahdee alqawma alththalimeena |
| Yusuf Ali 51: | O ye who believe! take not the Jews and the Christians for your friends and protectors: They are but friends and protectors to each other. And he amongst you that turns to them (for friendship) is of them. Verily Allah guideth not a people unjust. |
| Shakir 51: | O you who believe! do not take the Jews and the Christians for friends; they are friends of each other; and whoever amongst you takes them for a friend, then surely he is one of them; surely Allah does not guide the unjust people. |
| Pickthal 51: | O ye who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians for friends. They are friends one to another. He among you who taketh them for friends is (one) of them. Lo! Allah guideth not wrongdoing folk. |
| Mohsin Khan: 51: | O you who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians as Auliya' (friends, protectors, helpers), they are but Auliya' of each other. And if any amongst you takes them (as Auliya'), then surely he is one of them. Verily, Allah guides not those people who are the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers and unjust). |

| Spanish 51: | ¡Creyentes! ¡No toméis como amigos a los judíos y a los cristianos! Son amigos unos de otros. Quien de vosotros trabe amistad con ellos, se hace uno de ellos. Alá no guía al pueblo impío. |
| Indonesian 51: | Hai orang-orang yang beriman, janganlah kamu mengambil orang-orang Yahudi dan Nasrani menjadi pemimpin-pemimpin (mu); sebahagian mereka adalah pemimpin bagi sebahagian yang lain. Barangsiapa di antara kamu mengambil mereka menjadi pemimpin, maka sesungguhnya orang itu termasuk golongan mereka. Sesungguhnya Allah tidak memberi petunjuk kepada orang-orang yang zalim. |
| Melayu 51: | Wahai orang-orang yang beriman! Janganlah kamu mengambil orang-orang Yahudi dan Nasrani itu sebagai teman rapat kerana setengah mereka menjadi teman rapat kepada setengahnya yang lain dan sesiapa di antara kamu yang menjadikan mereka teman rapatnya, maka sesungguhnya dia adalah dari golongan mereka itu. Sesungguhnya Allah tidak memberikan petunjuk kepada kaum yang berlaku zalim. |
| German 51: | O ihr, die ihr glaubt! Nehmt nicht die Juden und die Christen zu Beschützern. Sie sind einander Beschützer. Und wer sie von euch zu Beschützern nimmt, der gehört wahrlich zu ihnen. Wahrlich, Allah weist nicht dem Volk der Ungerechten den Weg. |
| Russian 51: | О те, которые уверовали! Не считайте иудеев и христиан своими помощниками и друзьями, поскольку они помогают друг другу. Если же кто-либо из вас считает их своими помощниками и друзьями, то он сам является одним из них. Воистину, Аллах не ведет прямым путем несправедливых людей. |
| Bosnian 51: | O vjernici, ne uzimajte za zaštitnike jevreje i kršćane! Oni su sami sebi zaštitnici! A njihov je onaj među vama koji ih za zaštitnike prihvati; Allah uistinu neće ukazati na Pravi put ljudima koji sami sebi nepravdu čine. |
| Urdu 51: | اے ایمان والو یہود اور نصاریٰ کو دوست نہ بناؤ وہ آپس میں ایک دوسرے کے دوست ہیں اور جو کوئی تم میں سے ان کے ساتھ دوستی کرے تو وہ ان میں سے ہے الله ظالموں کو ہدایت نہیں کرتا |
| 52 | فَتَرَى الَّذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌ يُسَارِعُونَ فِيهِمْ يَقُولُونَ نَخْشَىٰ أَن تُصِيبَنَا دَائِرَةٌ ۚ فَعَسَى اللَّهُ أَن يَأْتِيَ بِالْفَتْحِ أَوْ أَمْرٍ مِّنْ عِندِهِ فَيُصْبِحُوا عَلَىٰ مَا أَسَرُّوا فِي أَنفُسِهِمْ نَادِمِينَ |
| Transliteration 52: | Fatara allatheena fee quloobihim maradun yusariAAoona feehim yaqooloona nakhsha an tuseebana dairatun faAAasa Allahu an yatiya bialfathi aw amrin min AAindihi fayusbihoo AAala ma asarroo fee anfusihim nadimeena |
| Yusuf Ali 52: | Those in whose hearts is a disease - thou seest how eagerly they run about amongst them, saying: "We do fear lest a change of fortune bring us disaster." Ah! perhaps Allah will give (thee) victory, or a decision according to His will. Then will they repent of the thoughts which they secretly harboured in their hearts. |
| Shakir 52: | But you will see those in whose hearts is a disease hastening towards them, saying: We fear lest a calamity should befall us; but it may be that Allah will bring the victory or a punishment from Himself, so that they shall be regretting on account of what they hid in their souls. |
| Pickthal 52: | And thou seest those in whose heart is a disease race toward them, saying: We fear lest a change of fortune befall us. And it may happen that Allah will vouchsafe (unto thee) the victory, or a commandment from His presence. Then will they repent them of their secret thoughts. |
| Mohsin Khan: 52: | And you see those in whose hearts there is a disease (of hypocrisy), they hurry to their friendship, saying: "We fear lest some misfortune of a disaster may befall us." Perhaps Allah may bring a victory or a decision according to His Will. Then they will become regretful for what they have been keeping as a secret in themselves. |
| French 52: | Tu verras, d'ailleurs, que ceux qui ont la maladie au coeur se précipitent vers eux et disent: ‹Nous craignons qu'un revers de fortune ne nous frappe.› Mais peut-être qu'Allah fera venir la victoire ou un ordre émanant de Lui. Alors ceux-là regretteront leurs pensées secrètes. |
| Spanish 52: | Ves a los enfermos de corazón precipitarse a ellos, diciendo: "Tenemos miedo de un revés de fortuna". Pero puede que Alá traiga el éxito u otra cosa de Él y, entonces, se dolerán de lo que habían pensado en secreto. |
| Indonesian 52: | Maka kamu akan melihat orang-orang yang ada penyakit dalam hatinya (orang-orang munafik) bersegera mendekati mereka (Yahudi dan Nasrani), seraya berkata: "Kami takut akan mendapat bencana". Mudah-mudahan Allah akan mendatangkan kemenangan (kepada Rasul-Nya), atau sesuatu keputusan dari sisi-Nya. Maka karena itu, mereka menjadi menyesal terhadap apa yang mereka rahasiakan dalam diri mereka. |
| Melayu 52: | Dalam pada itu, engkau lihat orang-orang (munafik) yang ada penyakit dalam hatinya segera berusaha mendampingkan diri kepada mereka (Yahudi dan Nasrani), sambil berkata: Kami takut bahawa kami akan ditimpa bencana (yang memaksa kami meminta pertolongan mereka). Mudah-mudahan Allah akan mendatangkan kemenangan (kepada RasulNya dan umat Islam) atau mendatangkan sesuatu hukuman dari sisiNya (terhadap golongan yang munafik itu); maka sebab itu mereka akan menyesal mengenai apa yang telah mereka sembunyikan dalam hatinya. |
| German 52: | "Und du wirst jene sehen, deren Herzen von Krankheit befallen sind, (und die) zu ihnen hineilen; sie sagen: ""Wir fürchten, es könnte uns ein Unglück befallen."" Möge Allah den Sieg oder sonst ein Ereignis herbeiführen. Dann werden sie bereuen, was sie in ihren Herzen verbargen. |
| Russian 52: | Ты видишь, что те, чьи сердца поражены недугом, поспешают среди них и говорят: «Мы боимся, что нас постигнет беда». Но, может быть, Аллах явится с победой или своим повелением, и тогда они станут сожалеть о том, что утаивали в себе. |
| Bosnian 52: | Zato ti vidiš one čija su srca bolesna kako se žure da s njima prijateljstvo sklope, govoreći: "Bojimo se da nas kakva nevolja ne zadesi." A Allah će, sigurno, pobjedu ili nešto drugo od sebe dati, pa će se oni zbog onoga što su u dušama svojim krili kajati, |
| Urdu 52: | پھر تو ان لوگوں کو دیکھے گا جن کے دلوں میں بیماری ہے ان میں دوڑ کر جا ملتے ہیں کہتے ہیں کہ ہمیں ڈر ہے کہ ہم پر زمانے کی گردش نہ آ جائے سو قریب ہے کہ الله جلدی فتح ظاہر فرماد ے یا کوئی اور حکم اپنے ہاں سے ظاہر کرے پھر یہ اپنے دل کی چھپی ہوئی بات پر شرمندہ ہوں گے |
| 53 | وَيَقُولُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَهَـٰؤُلَاءِ الَّذِينَ أَقْسَمُوا بِاللَّهِ جَهْدَ أَيْمَانِهِمْ ۙ إِنَّهُمْ لَمَعَكُمْ ۚ حَبِطَتْ أَعْمَالُهُمْ فَأَصْبَحُوا خَاسِرِينَ |
| Transliteration 53: | Wayaqoolu allatheena amanoo ahaolai allatheena aqsamoo biAllahi jahda aymanihim innahum lamaAAakum habitat aAAmaluhum faasbahoo khasireena |
| Yusuf Ali 53: | And those who believe will say: "Are these the men who swore their strongest oaths by Allah, that they were with you?" All that they do will be in vain, and they will fall into (nothing but) ruin. |
| Shakir 53: | And those who believe will say: Are these they who swore by Allah with the most forcible of their oaths that they were most surely with you? Their deeds shall go for nothing, so they shall become losers. |
| Pickthal 53: | Then will the believers say (unto the people of the Scripture): are these they who swore by Allah their most binding oaths that they were surely with you? Their works have failed, and they have become the losers. |
| Mohsin Khan: 53: | And those who believe will say: "Are these the men (hypocrites) who swore their strongest oaths by Allah that they were with you (Muslims)?" All that they did has been in vain (because of their hypocrisy), and they have become the losers. |
| French 53: | Et les croyants diront: ‹Est-ce là ceux qui juraient par Allah de toute leur force qu'ils étaient avec vous?› Mais leurs actions sont devenues vaines et ils sont devenus perdants. |

| Indonesian 53: | Dan orang-orang yang beriman akan mengatakan: "Inikah orang-orang yang bersumpah sungguh-sungguh dengan nama Allah, bahwasanya mereka benar-benar beserta kamu?" Rusak binasalah segala amal mereka, lalu mereka menjadi orang-orang yang merugi. |
| Melayu 53: | Dan (telatah kaum munafik itu menjadikan) orang-orang yang beriman berkata: Adakah mereka ini orang-orang yang bersumpah dengan nama Allah, dengan sebenar-benar sumpahnya, bahawa mereka benar-benar menyertai dan menolong kamu? Telah gugurlah amal-amal mereka, lalu menjadilah mereka: Orang-orang yang rugi. |
| German 53: | ""Und die Gläubigen werden sagen: ""Sind das etwa jene, die mit ihren feierlichsten Eiden bei Allah schworen, daß sie unverbrüchlich zu euch stünden?"" Eitel sind ihre Werke, und sie sind zu Verlierern geworden. |
| Russian 53: | Те, которые уверовали, скажут: «Неужели это – те, которые приносили величайшие клятвы именем Аллаха о том, что они были с вами?» Тщетны были их деяния, и они оказались потерпевшими убыток. |

| 54 | يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مَن يَرْتَدَّ مِنكُمْ عَن دِينِهِ فَسَوْفَ يَأْتِي اللَّهُ بِقَوْمٍ يُحِبُّهُمْ وَيُحِبُّونَهُ أَذِلَّةٍ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَعِزَّةٍ عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَ يُجَاهِدُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَلَا يَخَافُونَ لَوْمَةَ لَائِمٍ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ فَضْلُ اللَّهِ يُؤْتِيهِ مَن يَشَاءُ ۚ وَاللَّهُ وَاسِعٌ عَلِيمٌ |
| Transliteration 54: | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo man yartadda minkum AAan deenihi fasawfa yatee Allahu biqawmin yuhibbuhum wayuhibboonahu athillatin AAala almumineena aAAizzatin AAala alkafireena yujahidoona fee sabeeli Allahi wala yakhafoona lawmata laimin thalika fadlu Allahi yuteehi man yashao waAllahu wasiAAun AAaleemun |
| Yusuf Ali 54: | O ye who believe! if any from among you turn back from his Faith, soon will Allah produce a people whom He will love as they will love Him,- lowly with the believers, mighty against the rejecters, fighting in the way of Allah, and never afraid of the reproaches of such as find fault. That is the grace of Allah, which He will bestow on whom He pleaseth. And Allah encompasseth all, and He knoweth all things. |
| Shakir 54: | O you who believe! whoever from among you turns back from his religion, then Allah will bring a people, He shall love them and they shall love Him, lowly before the believers, mighty against the unbelievers, they shall strive hard in Allah's way and shall not fear the censure of any censurer; this is Allah's Face, He gives it to whom He pleases, and Allah is Ample-giving, Knowing. |
| Pickthal 54: | O ye who believe! Whoso of you becometh a renegade from his religion, (know that in his stead) Allah will bring a people whom He loveth and who love Him, humble toward believers, stern toward disbelievers, striving in the way of Allah, and fearing not the blame of any blamer. Such is the grace of Allah which He giveth unto whom He will. Allah is All-Embracing, All-Knowing. |
| Mohsin Khan: 54: | O you who believe! Whoever from among you turns back from his religion (Islam), Allah will bring a people whom He will love and they will love Him; humble towards the believers, stern towards the disbelievers, fighting in the Way of Allah, and never fear of the blame of the blamers. That is the Grace of Allah which He bestows on whom He wills. And Allah is All-Sufficient for His creatures' needs, All-Knower. |

Itulah karunia Allah, diberikan-Nya kepada siapa yang dikehendaki-Nya, dan Allah Maha Luas (pemberian-Nya) lagi Maha Mengetahui. |

Sesiapa di antara kamu berpaling tadah dari agamanya (jadi murtad), maka Allah akan mendatangkan suatu kaum yang Dia kasihkan mereka dan mereka juga kasihkan Dia; mereka pula bersifat lemah-lembut terhadap orang-orang yang beriman dan berlaku tegas gagah terhadap orang-orang kafir, mereka berjuang dengan bersungguh-sungguh pada jalan Allah dan mereka tidak takut kepada celaan orang yang mencela. Yang demikian itu adalah limpah kurnia Allah yang diberikanNya kepada sesiapa yang dikehendakiNya; kerana Allah Maha Luas limpah kurniaNya, lagi Meliputi PengetahuanNya. |
| German 54: | "O ihr, die ihr glaubt, wer sich von euch von seinem Glauben abkehrt, wisset, Allah wird bald ein anderes Volk bringen, das Er liebt und das Ihn liebt, (das) demütig gegen die Gläubigen und hart gegen die Ungläubigen (ist); sie werden auf Allahs Weg kämpfen und werden den Vorwurf des Tadelnden nicht fürchten. Das ist Allahs Huld; Er gewährt sie, wem Er will; denn Allah ist Allumfassend, Allwissend. |
| Russian 54: | О те, которые уверовали! Если кто-нибудь из вас отступит от своей религии, то Аллах приведет других людей, которых Он будет любить и которые будут любить Его. Они будут смиренны перед верующими и непреклонны перед неверующими, будут сражаться на пути Аллаха и не бояться порицания порицающих. Такова милость Аллаха, которую Он дарует, кому пожелает. Аллах – Объемлющий, Знающий. |
| Bosnian 54: | O vjernici, ako neko od vas od vjere svoje otpadne - pa, Allah će, sigurno, mjesto njih dovesti ljude koje On voli i koji Njega vole, prema vjernicima ponizne, a prema nevjernicima ponosite; oni će se na Allahovu putu boriti i neće se ničijeg prijekora bojati. To je Allahov dar, koji On daje kome hoće - a Allah je neizmjerno dobar i zna sve. |
| Urdu 54: | اے ایمان والو جو کوئی تم میں سے اپنے دین سے پھر جائے گا تو عنقریب الله ایسی قوم کو لائے گا کہ الله ان کو چاہتا ہے اور وہ اس کو چاہتے ہیں مسلمانوں پر نرم دل ہوں گے اور کافروں پر زبردست الله کی راہ میں لڑیں گے اور کسی کی ملامت سے نہیں ڈریں گے یہ الله کا فضل ہے جسے چاہے دیتا ہے اور الله کشائش والا جاننے والا ہے |
| 55 | إِنَّمَا وَلِيُّكُمُ اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا الَّذِينَ يُقِيمُونَ الصَّلَاةَ وَيُؤْتُونَ الزَّكَاةَ وَهُمْ رَاكِعُونَ |
| Transliteration 55: | Innama waliyyukumu Allahu warasooluhu waallatheena amanoo allatheena yuqeemoona alssalata wayutoona alzzakata wahum rakiAAoona |
| Yusuf Ali 55: | Your (real) friends are (no less than) Allah, His Messenger, and the (fellowship of) believers,- those who establish regular prayers and regular charity, and they bow down humbly (in worship). |
| Shakir 55: | Only Allah is your Vali and His Messenger and those who believe, those who keep up prayers and pay the poor-rate while they bow. |
| Pickthal 55: | Your guardian can be only Allah; and His messenger and those who believe, who establish worship and pay the poordue, and bow down (in prayer). |
| Mohsin Khan: 55: | Verily, your Wali (Protector or Helper) is none other than Allah, His Messenger, and the believers, - those who perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat), and give Zakat, and they are Raki'un (those who bow down or submit themselves with obedience to Allah in prayer). |

| 56 | وَمَن يَتَوَلَّ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا فَإِنَّ حِزْبَ اللَّهِ هُمُ الْغَالِبُونَ |
| Transliteration 56: | Waman yatawalla Allaha warasoolahu waallatheena amanoo fainna hizba Allahi humu alghaliboona |
| Yusuf Ali 56: | As to those who turn (for friendship) to Allah, His Messenger, and the (fellowship of) believers,- it is the fellowship of Allah that must certainly triumph. |
| Shakir 56: | And whoever takes Allah and His messenger and those who believe for a guardian, then surely the party of Allah are they that shall be triumphant. |
| Pickthal 56: | And whoso taketh Allah and His messenger and those who believe for guardian (will know that), lo! the party of Allah, they are the victorious. |

| German 56: | Und wer Allah und Seinen Gesandten und die Gläubigen zu Beschützern nimmt, der soll wissen, daß Allahs Schar es ist, die siegreich sein wird. |
| Russian 56: | Если они считают Аллаха, Его Посланника и верующих своими покровителями и помощниками, то ведь поборники Аллаха непременно окажутся победителями. |
| Bosnian 56: | Onaj ko za zaštitnika uzme Allaha i Poslanika Njegova i vjernike - pa, Allahova strana će svakako pobijediti. |

| 57 | يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَتَّخِذُوا الَّذِينَ اتَّخَذُوا دِينَكُمْ هُزُوًا وَلَعِبًا مِّنَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ وَالْكُفَّارَ أَوْلِيَاءَ ۚ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ |
| Transliteration 57: | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo la tattakhithoo allatheena ittakhathoo deenakum huzuwan walaAAiban mina allatheena ootoo alkitaba min qablikum waalkuffara awliyaa waittaqoo Allaha in kuntum mumineena |
| Yusuf Ali 57: | O ye who believe! take not for friends and protectors those who take your religion for a mockery or sport,- whether among those who received the Scripture before you, or among those who reject Faith; but fear ye Allah, if ye have faith (indeed). |
| Shakir 57: | O you who believe! do not take for guardians those who take your religion for a mockery and a joke, from among those who were given the Book before you and the unbelievers; and be careful of (your duty to) Allah if you are believers. |
| Pickthal 57: | O Ye who believe! Choose not for guardians such of those who received the Scripture before you, and of the disbelievers, as make a jest and sport of your religion. But keep your duty to Allah if ye are true believers. |
| Mohsin Khan: 57: | O you who believe! Take not as Auliya' (protectors and helpers) those who take your religion as a mockery and fun from among those who received the Scripture (Jews and Christians) before you, and nor from among the disbelievers; and fear Allah if you indeed are true believers. |

| Indonesian 57: | Hai orang-orang yang beriman, janganlah kamu mengambil jadi pemimpinmu, orang-orang yang membuat agamamu jadi buah ejekan dan permainan, (yaitu) di antara orang-orang yang telah diberi Kitab sebelummu, dan orang-orang yang kafir (orang-orang musyrik). Dan bertakwalah kepada Allah jika kamu betul-betul orang-orang yang beriman. |
| Melayu 57: | Wahai orang-orang yang beriman! Janganlah kamu mengambil orang-orang yang menjadikan agama kamu sebagai ejek-ejekan dan permainan dari orang-orang yang telah diberikan Kitab sebelum kamu dan orang-orang kafir musyrik itu: Menjadi penolong-penolong dan bertakwalah kepada Allah, jika kamu benar-benar orang yang beriman. |

| 58 | وَإِذَا نَادَيْتُمْ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ اتَّخَذُوهَا هُزُوًا وَلَعِبًا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَوْمٌ لَّا يَعْقِلُونَ |
| Transliteration 58: | Waitha nadaytum ila alssalati ittakhathooha huzuwan walaAAiban thalika biannahum qawmun la yaAAqiloona |
| Yusuf Ali 58: | When ye proclaim your call to prayer they take it (but) as mockery and sport; that is because they are a people without understanding. |
| Shakir 58: | And when you call to prayer they make it a mockery and a joke; this is because they are a people who do not understand. |
| Pickthal 58: | And when ye call to prayer they take it for a jest and sport. That is because they are a folk who understand not. |
| Mohsin Khan: 58: | And when you proclaim the call for As-Salat [call for the prayer (Adhan )], they take it (but) as a mockery and fun; that is because they are a people who understand not. |

| Melayu 58: | Dan apabila kamu menyeru (azan) untuk mengerjakan sembahyang, mereka menjadikan sembahyang itu sebagai ejek-ejekan dan permainan. Yang demikian itu ialah kerana mereka suatu kaum yang tidak berakal. |
| German 58: | Und wenn ihr zum Gebet ruft, treiben sie damit ihren Spott und Scherz. Dies (ist so), weil sie Leute sind, die es nicht begreifen. |

| 59 | قُلْ يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ هَلْ تَنقِمُونَ مِنَّا إِلَّا أَنْ آمَنَّا بِاللَّهِ وَمَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْنَا وَمَا أُنزِلَ مِن قَبْلُ وَأَنَّ أَكْثَرَكُمْ فَاسِقُونَ |
| Transliteration 59: | Qul ya ahla alkitabi hal tanqimoona minna illa an amanna biAllahi wama onzila ilayna wama onzila min qablu waanna aktharakum fasiqoona |
| Yusuf Ali 59: | Say: "O people of the Book! Do ye disapprove of us for no other reason than that we believe in Allah, and the revelation that hath come to us and that which came before (us), and (perhaps) that most of you are rebellious and disobedient?" |
| Shakir 59: | Say: O followers of the Book! do you find fault with us (for aught) except that we believe in Allah and in what has been revealed to us and what was revealed before, and that most of you are transgressors? |

| 60 | قُلْ هَلْ أُنَبِّئُكُم بِشَرٍّ مِّن ذَٰلِكَ مَثُوبَةً عِندَ اللَّهِ ۚ مَن لَّعَنَهُ اللَّهُ وَغَضِبَ عَلَيْهِ وَجَعَلَ مِنْهُمُ الْقِرَدَةَ وَالْخَنَازِيرَ وَعَبَدَ الطَّاغُوتَ ۚ أُولَـٰئِكَ شَرٌّ مَّكَانًا وَأَضَلُّ عَن سَوَاءِ السَّبِيلِ |
| Transliteration 60: | Qul hal onabbiokum bisharrin min thalika mathoobatan AAinda Allahi man laAAanahu Allahu waghadiba AAalayhi wajaAAala minhumu alqiradata waalkhanazeera waAAabada alttaghooti olaika sharrun makanan waadallu AAan sawai alssabeeli |
| Yusuf Ali 60: | Say: "Shall I point out to you something much worse than this, (as judged) by the treatment it received from Allah. those who incurred the curse of Allah and His wrath, those of whom some He transformed into apes and swine, those who worshipped evil;- these are (many times) worse in rank, and far more astray from the even path!" |
| Shakir 60: | Say: Shall I inform you of (him who is) worse than this in retribution from Allah? (Worse is he) whom Allah has cursed and brought His wrath upon, and of whom He made apes and swine, and he who served the Shaitan; these are worse in place and more erring from the straight path. |
| Pickthal 60: | Shall I tell thee of a worse (case) than theirs for retribution with Allah? (Worse is the case of him) whom Allah hath cursed, him on whom His wrath hath fallen and of whose sort Allah hath turned some to apes and swine, and who serveth idols. Such are in worse plight and further astray from the plain road. |
| Mohsin Khan: 60: | Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم to the people of the Scripture): "Shall I inform you of something worse than that, regarding the recompense from Allah: those (Jews) who incurred the Curse of Allah and His Wrath, and those of whom (some) He transformed into monkeys and swines, and those who worshipped Taghut (false deities); such are worse in rank (on the Day of Resurrection in the Hell-fire), and far more astray from the Right Path (in the life of this world)." |

| Transliteration 61: | Waitha jaookum qaloo amanna waqad dakhaloo bialkufri wahum qad kharajoo bihi waAllahu aAAlamu bima kanoo yaktumoona |
| Yusuf Ali 61: | When they come to thee, they say: "We believe": but in fact they enter with a mind against Faith, and they go out with the same but Allah knoweth fully all that they hide. |
| Shakir 61: | And when they come to you, they say: We believe; and indeed they come in with unbelief and indeed they go forth with it; and Allah knows best what they concealed. |
| Pickthal 61: | When they come unto you (Muslims), they say: We believe; but they came in unbelief and they went out in the same; and Allah knoweth best what they were hiding. |

| Melayu 61: | Dan apabila mereka (orang-orang Yahudi atau munafik itu) datang kepada kamu, mereka berkata: Kami telah beriman. | 62 | وَتَرَىٰ كَثِيرًا مِّنْهُمْ يُسَارِعُونَ فِي الْإِثْمِ وَالْعُدْوَانِ وَأَكْلِهِمُ السُّحْتَ ۚ لَبِئْسَ مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ |
| Transliteration 62: | Watara katheeran minhum yusariAAoona fee alithmi waalAAudwani waaklihimu alssuhta labisa ma kanoo yaAAmaloona |
| Yusuf Ali 62: | Many of them dost thou see, racing each other in sin and rancour, and their eating of things forbidden. Evil indeed are the things that they do. |
| Shakir 62: | And you will see many of them striving with one another to hasten in sin and exceeding the limits, and their eating of what is unlawfully acquired; certainly evil is that which they do. |
| Pickthal 62: | And thou seest many of them vying one with another in sin and transgression and their devouring of illicit gain. Verily evil is what they do. |
| Mohsin Khan: 62: | And you see many of them (Jews) hurrying towards sin and transgression, and eating illegal things [as bribes and Riba (usury)]. Evil indeed is that which they have been doing. |
| French 62: | Et tu verras beaucoup d'entre eux se précipiter vers le péché et l'iniquité, et manger des gains illicites. Comme est donc mauvais ce qu'ils oeuvrent! |

| German 62: | "Und du siehst, wie viele von ihnen in Sünde und Ubertretung und im Verzehr verbotener Dinge wetteifern. Ubel ist wahrlich, was sie getan haben. |

| 63 | لَوْلَا يَنْهَاهُمُ الرَّبَّانِيُّونَ وَالْأَحْبَارُ عَن قَوْلِهِمُ الْإِثْمَ وَأَكْلِهِمُ السُّحْتَ ۚ لَبِئْسَ مَا كَانُوا يَصْنَعُونَ |
| Transliteration 63: | Lawla yanhahumu alrrabbaniyyoona waalahbaru AAan qawlihimu alithma waaklihimu alssuhta labisa ma kanoo yasnaAAoona |
| Yusuf Ali 63: | Why do not the rabbis and the doctors of Law forbid them from their (habit of) uttering sinful words and eating things forbidden? Evil indeed are their works. |
| Shakir 63: | Why do not the learned men and the doctors of law prohibit them from their speaking of what is sinful and their eating of what is unlawfully acquired? Certainly evil is that which they work. |
| Pickthal 63: | Why do not the rabbis and the priests forbid their evil-speaking and their devouring of illicit gain? Verily evil is their handiwork. |
| Mohsin Khan: 63: | Why do not the rabbis and the religious learned men forbid them from uttering sinful words and from eating illegal things. Evil indeed is that which they have been performing. |

| 64 | وَقَالَتِ الْيَهُودُ يَدُ اللَّهِ مَغْلُولَةٌ ۚ غُلَّتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَلُعِنُوا بِمَا قَالُوا ۘ بَلْ يَدَاهُ مَبْسُوطَتَانِ يُنفِقُ كَيْفَ يَشَاءُ ۚ وَلَيَزِيدَنَّ كَثِيرًا مِّنْهُم مَّا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ مِن رَّبِّكَ طُغْيَانًا وَكُفْرًا ۚ وَأَلْقَيْنَا بَيْنَهُمُ الْعَدَاوَةَ وَالْبَغْضَاءَ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ ۚ كُلَّمَا أَوْقَدُوا نَارًا لِّلْحَرْبِ أَطْفَأَهَا اللَّهُ ۚ وَيَسْعَوْنَ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَسَادًا ۚ وَاللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ الْمُفْسِدِينَ |
| Transliteration 64: | Waqalati alyahoodu yadu Allahi maghloolatun ghullat aydeehim waluAAinoo bima qaloo bal yadahu mabsootatani yunfiqu kayfa yashao walayazeedanna katheeran minhum ma onzila ilayka min rabbika tughyanan wakufran waalqayna baynahumu alAAadawata waalbaghdaa ila yawmi alqiyamati kullama awqadoo naran lilharbi atfaaha Allahu wayasAAawna fee alardi fasadan waAllahu la yuhibbu almufsideena |
| Yusuf Ali 64: | The Jews say: "(Allah)'s hand is tied up." Be their hands tied up and be they accursed for the (blasphemy) they utter. Nay, both His hands are widely outstretched: He giveth and spendeth (of His bounty) as He pleaseth. But the revelation that cometh to thee from Allah increaseth in most of them their obstinate rebellion and blasphemy. Amongst them we have placed enmity and hatred till the Day of Judgment. Every time they kindle the fire of war, Allah doth extinguish it; but they (ever) strive to do mischief on earth. And Allah loveth not those who do mischief. |
| Shakir 64: | And the Jews say: The hand of Allah is tied up! Their hands shall be shackled and they shall be cursed for what they say. Nay, both His hands are spread out, He expends as He pleases; and what has been revealed to you from your Lord will certainly make many of them increase in inordinacy and unbelief; and We have put enmity and hatred among them till the day of resurrection; whenever they kindle a fire for war Allah puts it out, and they strive to make mischief in the land; and Allah does not love the mischief-makers. |

That which hath been revealed unto thee from thy Lord is certain to increase the contumacy and disbelief of many of them, and We have cast among them enmity and hatred till the Day of Resurrection. As often as they light a fire for war, Allah extinguisheth it. Their effort is for corruption in the land, and Allah loveth not corrupters. |

Et certes, ce qui a été descendu vers toi de la part de ton Seigneur va faire beaucoup croître parmi eux la rébellion et la mécréance. | Spanish 64: | Los judíos dicen: "La mano de Alá está cerrada". ¡Que sus propias manos estén cerradas y sean malditos por lo que dicen! Al contrario, Sus manos están abiertas y Él distribuye Sus dones como quiere. Pero la Revelación que tú has recibido de tu Señor acrecentará en muchos de ellos su rebelión e incredulidad. Hemos suscitado entre ellos hostilidad y odio hasta el día de la Resurrección. Siempre que encienden el fuego de la guerra, Alá se lo apaga. Se dan a corromper en la tierra y Alá no ama a los corruptores. |
| Indonesian 64: | Orang-orang Yahudi berkata: "Tangan Allah terbelenggu" , sebenarnya tangan merekalah yang dibelenggu dan merekalah yang dila'nat disebabkan apa yang telah mereka katakan itu. (Tidak demikian), tetapi kedua-dua tangan Allah terbuka; Dia menafkahkan sebagaimana Dia kehendaki. Dan Al Qur'an yang diturunkan kepadamu dari Tuhanmu sungguh-sungguh akan menambah kedurhakaan dan kekafiran bagi kebanyakan di antara mereka. Dan Kami telah timbulkan permusuhan dan kebencian di antara mereka sampai hari kiamat. Setiap mereka menyalakan api peperangan, Allah memadamkannya dan mereka berbuat kerusakan di muka bumi dan Allah tidak menyukai orang-orang yang membuat kerusakan. |

A to što ti objavljuje Gospodar tvoj pojačaće kod mnogih od njih zabludu i nevjerovanje. Mi smo ubacili među njih neprijateljstvo i mržnju sve do Smaka svijeta. Kad god pokušaju potpaliti ratnu vatru, Allah je ugasi. Oni nastoje na Zemlji smutnju praviti, a Allah ne voli smutljivce. |
| Urdu 64: | اور یہود کہتے ہیں الله کا ہاتھ بند ہوگیا ہے انہیں کے ہاتھ بند ہوں اور انہیں اس کہنے پر لعنت ہے بلکہ اس کے دونوں ہاتھ کھلے ہوئے ہیں جس طرح چاہے خرچ کرتا ہے جو کلام تیرے رب کی طرف سے تم پر نازل ہوا ہے وہ ان میں سے اکثر لوگوں کی سرکشی اور کفر میں زیادتی کا باعث بن گیا اور ہم نے ان کے درمیان قیامت تک عداوت اور دشمنی ڈال دی ہے جب کبھی لڑائی کے لیے آگ سلگاتے ہیں تو الله اس کو بجھا دیتا ہے یہ زمین میں فساد پھیلانے کی کوشش کرتے ہیں اور الله فساد کرنے والوں کو پسند نہیں کرتا |
| 65 | وَلَوْ أَنَّ أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ آمَنُوا وَاتَّقَوْا لَكَفَّرْنَا عَنْهُمْ سَيِّئَاتِهِمْ وَلَأَدْخَلْنَاهُمْ جَنَّاتِ النَّعِيمِ |
| Transliteration 65: | Walaw anna ahla alkitabi amanoo waittaqaw lakaffarna AAanhum sayyiatihim walaadkhalnahum jannati alnnaAAeemi |
| Yusuf Ali 65: | If only the People of the Book had believed and been righteous, We should indeed have blotted out their iniquities and admitted them to gardens of bliss. |
| Shakir 65: | And if the followers of the Book had believed and guarded (against evil) We would certainly have covered their evil deeds and We would certainly have made them enter gardens of bliss |

| Transliteration 66: | Walaw annahum aqamoo alttawrata waalinjeela wama onzila ilayhim min rabbihim laakaloo min fawqihim wamin tahti arjulihim minhum ommatun muqtasidatun wakatheerun minhum saa ma yaAAmaloona |
| Yusuf Ali 66: | If only they had stood fast by the Law, the Gospel, and all the revelation that was sent to them from their Lord, they would have enjoyed happiness from every side. There is from among them a party on the right course: but many of them follow a course that is evil. |
| Shakir 66: | And if they had kept up the Taurat and the Injeel and that which was revealed to them from their Lord, they would certainly have eaten from above them and from beneath their feet there is a party of them keeping to the moderate course, and (as for) most of them, evil is that which they do |

| Transliteration 67: | Ya ayyuha alrrasoolu balligh ma onzila ilayka min rabbika wain lam tafAAal fama ballaghta risalatahu waAllahu yaAAsimuka mina alnnasi inna Allaha la yahdee alqawma alkafireena |
| Yusuf Ali 67: | O Messenger. proclaim the (message) which hath been sent to thee from thy Lord. If thou didst not, thou wouldst not have fulfilled and proclaimed His mission. And Allah will defend thee from men (who mean mischief). For Allah guideth not those who reject Faith. |
| Shakir 67: | O Messenger! deliver what bas been revealed to you from your Lord; and if you do it not, then you have not delivered His message, and Allah will protect you from the people; surely Allah will not guide the unbelieving people. |
| Pickthal 67: | O Messenger! Make known that which hath been revealed unto thee from thy Lord, for if thou do it not, thou wilt not have conveyed His message. Allah will protect thee from mankind. Lo! Allah guideth not the disbelieving folk. |
| Mohsin Khan: 67: | O Messenger (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم)! Proclaim (the Message) which has been sent down to you from your Lord. And if you do not, then you have not conveyed His Message. Allah will protect you from mankind. Verily, Allah guides not the people who disbelieve. |

| Indonesian 67: | Hai Rasul, sampaikanlah apa yang di turunkan kepadamu dari Tuhanmu. Dan jika tidak kamu kerjakan (apa yang diperintahkan itu, berarti) kamu tidak menyampaikan amanat-Nya. Allah memelihara kamu dari (gangguan) manusia . Sesungguhnya Allah tidak memberi petunjuk kepada orang-orang yang kafir. |
| Melayu 67: | Wahai Rasul Allah! Sampaikanlah apa yang telah diturunkan kepadamu dari Tuhanmu dan jika engkau tidak melakukannya (dengan menyampaikan semuanya), maka bermakna tiadalah engkau menyampaikan perutusanNya dan Allah jualah akan memeliharamu dari (kejahatan) manusia. Sesungguhnya Allah tidak memberi hidayat petunjuk kepada kaum yang kafir. |
| German 67: | O du Gesandter! Verkünde, was zu dir von deinem Herrn herabgesandt wurde; und wenn du es nicht tust, so hast du Seine Botschaft nicht verkündigt. Und Allah wird dich vor den Menschen schützen. Wahrlich, Allah weist den ungläubigen Leuten nicht den Weg. |
| Russian 67: | О Посланник! Возвести то, что ниспослано тебе от своего Господа. Если ты не сделаешь этого, то не донесешь Его послания. Аллах защитит тебя от людей. Воистину, Аллах не наставляет на прямой путь неверующих людей. |
| Bosnian 67: | O Poslaniče, kazuj ono što ti se objavljuje od Gospodara tvoga, ako ne učiniš, onda nisi dostavio poslanicu Njegovu - a Allah će te od ljudi štititi. Allah doista neće ukazati na Pravi put narodu koji neće da vjeruje. |

| 68 | قُلْ يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ لَسْتُمْ عَلَىٰ شَيْءٍ حَتَّىٰ تُقِيمُوا التَّوْرَاةَ وَالْإِنجِيلَ وَمَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكُم مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ ۗ وَلَيَزِيدَنَّ كَثِيرًا مِّنْهُم مَّا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ مِن رَّبِّكَ طُغْيَانًا وَكُفْرًا ۖ فَلَا تَأْسَ عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ |
| Transliteration 68: | Qul ya ahla alkitabi lastum AAala shayin hatta tuqeemoo alttawrata waalinjeela wama onzila ilaykum min rabbikum walayazeedanna katheeran minhum ma onzila ilayka min rabbika tughyanan wakufran fala tasa AAala alqawmi alkafireena |
| Yusuf Ali 68: | Say: "O People of the Book! ye have no ground to stand upon unless ye stand fast by the Law, the Gospel, and all the revelation that has come to you from your Lord." It is the revelation that cometh to thee from thy Lord, that increaseth in most of them their obstinate rebellion and blasphemy. But sorrow thou not over (these) people without Faith. |
| Shakir 68: | Say: O followers of the Book! you follow no good till you keep up the Taurat and the Injeel and that which is revealed to you from your Lord; and surely that which has been revealed to you from your Lord shall make many of them increase in inordinacy and unbelief; grieve not therefore for the unbelieving people. |

Verily, that which has been sent down to you (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) from your Lord increases in most of them (their) obstinate rebellion and disbelief. So be not sorrowful over the people who disbelieve. |

Pero la Revelación que tú has recibido de tu Señor acrecentará en muchos de ellos su rebelión e incredulidad. ¡No te aflijas, pues, por el pueblo infiel! |
| Indonesian 68: | Katakanlah: "Hai Ahli Kitab, kamu tidak dipandang beragama sedikitpun hingga kamu menegakkan ajaran-ajaran Taurat, Injil dan Al Qur'an yang diturunkan kepadamu dari Tuhanmu". Sesungguhnya apa yang diturunkan kepadamu (Muhammad) dari Tuhanmu akan menambah kedurhakaan dan kekafiran kepada kebanyakan dari mereka; maka janganlah kamu bersedih hati terhadap orang-orang yang kafir itu. |

Kamu tidak dikira mempunyai sesuatu agama sehingga kamu tegakkan ajaran Kitab-kitab Taurat dan Injil (yang membawa kamu percaya kepada Nabi Muhammad) dan apa yang diturunkan kepada kamu dari Tuhan kamu (iaitu Al-Quran) Dan demi sesungguhnya, apa yang diturunkan kepadamu (wahai Muhammad) dari Tuhanmu itu, akan menambahkan kederhakaan dan kekufuran kepada kebanyakan mereka. Oleh itu janganlah engkau berdukacita terhadap kaum yang kafir itu. |
| German 68: | "Sprich: ""O Leute der Schrift, ihr fußt auf nichts, ehe ihr nicht die Thora und das Evangelium und das in die Tat umsetzt, was von eurem Herrn zu euch herabgesandt wurde."" Aber gewiß, das, was von deinem Herrn zu dir herabgesandt wurde, wird viele von ihnen in ihrem Aufruhr und Unglauben bestärken. Darum betrübe dich nicht über die ungläubigen Leute. |
| Russian 68: | Скажи: «О люди Писания! Вы не будете идти прямым путем, пока не станете руководствоваться Тауратом (Торой), Инджилом (Евангелием) и тем, что ниспослано вам от вашего Господа». Ниспосланное тебе от твоего Господа приумножает во многих из них несправедливость и неверие. Не печалься же о неверующих людях. |

| 69 | إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَالَّذِينَ هَادُوا وَالصَّابِئُونَ وَالنَّصَارَىٰ مَنْ آمَنَ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا فَلَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ |
| Transliteration 69: | Inna allatheena amanoo waallatheena hadoo waalssabioona waalnnasara man amana biAllahi waalyawmi alakhiri waAAamila salihan fala khawfun AAalayhim wala hum yahzanoona |
| Yusuf Ali 69: | Those who believe (in the Qur'an), those who follow the Jewish (scriptures), and the Sabians and the Christians,- any who believe in Allah and the Last Day, and work righteousness,- on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve. |

| Transliteration 70: | Laqad akhathna meethaqa banee israeela waarsalna ilayhim rusulan kullama jaahum rasoolun bima la tahwa anfusuhum fareeqan kaththaboo wafareeqan yaqtuloona |
| Yusuf Ali 70: | We took the covenant of the Children of Israel and sent them apostles, every time, there came to them an apostle with what they themselves desired not - some (of these) they called impostors, and some they (go so far as to) slay. |
| Shakir 70: | Certainly We made a covenant with the children of Israel and We sent to them messengers; whenever there came to them an messenger with what that their souls did not desire, some (of them) did they call liars and some they slew. |

| Transliteration 71: | Wahasiboo alla takoona fitnatun faAAamoo wasammoo thumma taba Allahu AAalayhim thumma AAamoo wasammoo katheerun minhum waAllahu baseerun bima yaAAmaloona |
| Yusuf Ali 71: | They thought there would be no trial (or punishment); so they became blind and deaf; yet Allah (in mercy) turned to them; yet again many of them became blind and deaf. But Allah sees well all that they do. |
| Shakir 71: | And they thought that there would be no affliction, so they became blind and deaf; then Allah turned to them mercifully, but many of them became blind and deaf; and Allah is well seeing what they do. |

| Transliteration 72: | Laqad kafara allatheena qaloo inna Allaha huwa almaseehu ibnu maryama waqala almaseehu ya banee israeela oAAbudoo Allaha rabbee warabbakum innahu man yushrik biAllahi faqad harrama Allahu AAalayhi aljannata wamawahu alnnaru wama lilththalimeena min ansarin |
| Yusuf Ali 72: | They do blaspheme who say: "(Allah) is Christ the son of Mary." But said Christ: "O Children of Israel! worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord." Whoever joins other gods with Allah,- Allah will forbid him the garden, and the Fire will be his abode. There will for the wrong-doers be no one to help. |
| Shakir 72: | Certainly they disbelieve who say: Surely Allah, He is the Messiah, son of Marium; and the Messiah said: O Children of Israel! serve Allah, my Lord and your Lord. | Transliteration 73: | Laqad kafara allatheena qaloo inna Allaha thalithu thalathatin wama min ilahin illa ilahun wahidun wain lam yantahoo AAamma yaqooloona layamassanna allatheena kafaroo minhum AAathabun aleemun |
| Yusuf Ali 73: | They do blaspheme who say: Allah is one of three in a Trinity: for there is no god except One Allah. If they desist not from their word (of blasphemy), verily a grievous penalty will befall the blasphemers among them. |
| Shakir 73: | Certainly they disbelieve who say: Surely Allah is the third (person) of the three; and there is no god but the one Allah, and if they desist not from what they say, a painful chastisement shall befall those among them who disbelieve. |
| Pickthal 73: | They surely disbelieve who say: Lo! Allah is the third of three; when there is no Allah save the One Allah. If they desist not from so saying a painful doom will fall on those of them who disbelieve. |
| Mohsin Khan: 73: | Surely, disbelievers are those who said: "Allah is the third of the three (in a Trinity)." But there is no Ilah (god) (none who has the right to be worshipped) but One Ilah (God -Allah). And if they cease not from what they say, verily, a painful torment will befall on the disbelievers among them. |

| Indonesian 73: | Sesungguhnya kafirlah orang-orang yang mengatakan: "Bahwasanya Allah salah satu dari yang tiga", padahal sekali-kali tidak ada Tuhan (yang berhak disembah) selain Tuhan Yang Esa. Jika mereka tidak berhenti dari apa yang mereka katakan itu, pasti orang-orang yang kafir di antara mereka akan ditimpa siksaan yang pedih. |

| 74 | أَفَلَا يَتُوبُونَ إِلَى اللَّهِ وَيَسْتَغْفِرُونَهُ ۚ وَاللَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ |
| Transliteration 74: | Afala yatooboona ila Allahi wayastaghfiroonahu waAllahu ghafoorun raheemun |

| Transliteration 75: | Ma almaseehu ibnu maryama illa rasoolun qad khalat min qablihi alrrusulu waommuhu siddeeqatun kana yakulani alttaAAama onthur kayfa nubayyinu lahumu alayati thumma onthur anna yufakoona |
| Yusuf Ali 75: | Christ the son of Mary was no more than an apostle; many were the apostles that passed away before him. His mother was a woman of truth. They had both to eat their (daily) food. See how Allah doth make His signs clear to them; yet see in what ways they are deluded away from the truth! |
| Shakir 75: | The Messiah, son of Marium is but a messenger; messengers before him have indeed passed away; and his mother was a truthful woman; they both used to eat food. See how We make the communications clear to them, then behold, how they are turned away. |

His mother [Maryam (Mary)] was a Siddiqah [i.e. she believed in the Words of Allah and His Books (see Verse 66:12)]. They both used to eat food (as any other human being, while Allah does not eat). Look how We make the Ayat (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) clear to them; yet look how they are deluded away (from the truth). |

| Transliteration 77: | Qul ya ahla alkitabi la taghloo fee deenikum ghayra alhaqqi wala tattabiAAoo ahwaa qawmin qad dalloo min qablu waadalloo katheeran wadalloo AAan sawai alssabeeli |
| Yusuf Ali 77: | Say: "O people of the Book! exceed not in your religion the bounds (of what is proper), trespassing beyond the truth, nor follow the vain desires of people who went wrong in times gone by,- who misled many, and strayed (themselves) from the even way. |
| Shakir 77: | Say: O followers of the Book! be not unduly immoderate in your religion, and do not follow the low desires of people who went astray before and led many astray and went astray from the right path. |

| Transliteration 78: | LuAAina allatheena kafaroo min banee israeela AAala lisani dawooda waAAeesa ibni maryama thalika bima AAasaw wakanoo yaAAtadoona |
| Yusuf Ali 78: | Curses were pronounced on those among the Children of Israel who rejected Faith, by the tongue of David and of Jesus the son of Mary: because they disobeyed and persisted in excesses. |
| Shakir 78: | Those who disbelieved from among the children of Israel were cursed by the tongue of Dawood and Isa, son of Marium; this was because they disobeyed and used to exceed the limit. |

| Yusuf Ali 79: | Nor did they (usually) forbid one another the iniquities which they committed: evil indeed were the deeds which they did. |
| Shakir 79: | They used not to forbid each other the hateful things (which) they did; certainly evil was that which they did. |
| Pickthal 79: | They restrained not one another from the wickedness they did. Verily evil was that they used to do! |

| 80 | تَرَىٰ كَثِيرًا مِّنْهُمْ يَتَوَلَّوْنَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا ۚ لَبِئْسَ مَا قَدَّمَتْ لَهُمْ أَنفُسُهُمْ أَن سَخِطَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ وَفِي الْعَذَابِ هُمْ خَالِدُونَ |
| Transliteration 80: | Tara katheeran minhum yatawallawna allatheena kafaroo labisa ma qaddamat lahum anfusuhum an sakhita Allahu AAalayhim wafee alAAathabi hum khalidoona |
| Yusuf Ali 80: | Thou seest many of them turning in friendship to the Unbelievers. Evil indeed are (the works) which their souls have sent forward before them (with the result), that Allah.s wrath is on them, and in torment will they abide. |
| Shakir 80: | You will see many of them befriending those who disbelieve; certainly evil is that which their souls have sent before for them, that Allah became displeased with them and in chastisement shall they abide. |
| Pickthal 80: | Thou seest many of them making friends with those who disbelieve. Surely ill for them is that which they themselves send on before them: that Allah will be wroth with them and in the doom they will abide. |
| Mohsin Khan: 80: | You see many of them taking the disbelievers as their Auliya' (protectors and helpers). Evil indeed is that which their ownselves have sent forward before them; for that (reason) Allah's Wrath fell upon them, and in torment they will abide. |

| Russian 80: | Ты видишь, что многие из них дружат с неверующими. Скверно то, что уготовили им их души, ведь поэтому Аллах разгневался на них. Они будут мучаться вечно. |

| 81 | وَلَوْ كَانُوا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَالنَّبِيِّ وَمَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْهِ مَا اتَّخَذُوهُمْ أَوْلِيَاءَ وَلَـٰكِنَّ كَثِيرًا مِّنْهُمْ فَاسِقُونَ |
| Transliteration 81: | Walaw kanoo yuminoona biAllahi waalnnabiyyi wama onzila ilayhi ma ittakhathoohum awliyaa walakinna katheeran minhum fasiqoona |
| Yusuf Ali 81: | If only they had believed in Allah, in the Messenger, and in what hath been revealed to him, never would they have taken them for friends and protectors, but most of them are rebellious wrong-doers. |
| Shakir 81: | And had they believed in Allah and the prophet and what was revealed to him, they would not have taken them for friends but! most of them are transgressors. |
| Pickthal 81: | If they believed in Allah and the Prophet and that which is revealed unto him, they would not choose them for their friends. But many of them are of evil conduct. |
| Mohsin Khan: 81: | And had they believed in Allah, and in the Prophet (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) and in what has been revealed to him, never would they have taken them (the disbelievers) as Auliya' (protectors and helpers); but many of them are the Fasiqun (rebellious, disobedient to Allah). |

| Melayu 81: | Sekiranya mereka beriman kepada Allah dan kepada Nabi serta apa yang diturunkan kepadanya nescaya mereka tidak menjadikan orang-orang (musyrik) sebagai teman rapat, akan tetapi kebanyakan dari mereka adalah orang-orang fasik. |
| German 81: | Und hätten sie an Allah geglaubt und an den Propheten und an das, was zu ihm herabgesandt wurde, hätten sie sich jene nicht zu Beschützern genommen; aber viele von ihnen sind Frevler. |
| Russian 81: | Если бы они уверовали в Аллаха, Пророка и то, что было ниспослано ему, то не стали бы брать их себе в помощники и друзья. Но многие из них являются нечестивцами. |
| Bosnian 81: | A da vjeruju u Allaha i vjerovjesnika i u ono što se njemu objavljuje, oni s njima ne bi prijateljevali, ali, mnogi od njih su nevjernici. |

| 82 | ۞ لَتَجِدَنَّ أَشَدَّ النَّاسِ عَدَاوَةً لِّلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا الْيَهُودَ وَالَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُوا ۖ وَلَتَجِدَنَّ أَقْرَبَهُم مَّوَدَّةً لِّلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا الَّذِينَ قَالُوا إِنَّا نَصَارَىٰ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ مِنْهُمْ قِسِّيسِينَ وَرُهْبَانًا وَأَنَّهُمْ لَا يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ |
| Transliteration 82: | Latajidanna ashadda alnnasi AAadawatan lillatheena amanoo alyahooda waallatheena ashrakoo walatajidanna aqrabahum mawaddatan lillatheena amanoo allatheena qaloo inna nasara thalika bianna minhum qisseeseena waruhbanan waannahum la yastakbiroona |
| Yusuf Ali 82: | Strongest among men in enmity to the believers wilt thou find the Jews and Pagans; and nearest among them in love to the believers wilt thou find those who say, "We are Christians": because amongst these are men devoted to learning and men who have renounced the world, and they are not arrogant. |
| Shakir 82: | Certainly you will find the most violent of people in enmity for those who believe (to be) the Jews and those who are polytheists, and you will certainly find the nearest in friendship to those who believe (to be) those who say: We are Christians; this is because there are priests and monks among them and because they do not behave proudly. |
| Pickthal 82: | Thou wilt find the most vehement of mankind in hostility to those who believe (to be) the Jews and the idolaters. And thou wilt find the nearest of them in affection to those who believe (to be) those who say: Lo! We are Christians. That is because there are among them priests and monks, and because they are not proud. |
| Mohsin Khan: 82: | Verily, you will find the strongest among men in enmity to the believers (Muslims) the Jews and those who are Al-Mushrikun and you will find the nearest in love to the believers (Muslims) those who say: "We are Christians." | Spanish 82: | Verás que los más hostiles a los creyentes son los judíos y los asociadores, y que los más amigos de los creyentes son los que dicen: "Somos cristianos". Es que hay entre ellos sacerdotes y monjes y no son altivos. |
| Indonesian 82: | Sesungguhnya kamu dapati orang-orang yang paling keras permusuhannya terhadap orang-orang yang beriman ialah orang-orang Yahudi dan orang-orang musyrik. Dan sesungguhnya kamu dapati yang paling dekat persabahatannya dengan orang-orang yang beriman ialah orang-orang yang berkata: "Sesungguhnya kami ini orang Nasrani". Yang demikian itu disebabkan karena di antara mereka itu (orang-orang Nasrani) terdapat pendeta-pendeta dan rahib-rahib, (juga) karena sesungguhnya mereka tidak menyombongkan diri. |

Und du wirst zweifellos finden, daß die, welche sagen: ""Wir sind Christen"" den Gläubigen am freundlichsten gegenüberstehen. Dies (ist so), weil es unter ihnen Priester und Mönche gibt und weil sie nicht hochmütig sind. |

| 83 | وَإِذَا سَمِعُوا مَا أُنزِلَ إِلَى الرَّسُولِ تَرَىٰ أَعْيُنَهُمْ تَفِيضُ مِنَ الدَّمْعِ مِمَّا عَرَفُوا مِنَ الْحَقِّ ۖ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا فَاكْتُبْنَا مَعَ الشَّاهِدِينَ |
| Transliteration 83: | Waitha samiAAoo ma onzila ila alrrasooli tara aAAyunahum tafeedu mina alddamAAi mimma AAarafoo mina alhaqqi yaqooloona rabbana amanna faoktubna maAAa alshshahideena |
| Yusuf Ali 83: | And when they listen to the revelation received by the Messenger, thou wilt see their eyes overflowing with tears, for they recognise the truth: they pray: "Our Lord! we believe; write us down among the witnesses. |
| Shakir 83: | And when they hear what has been revealed to the messenger you will see their eyes overflowing with tears on account of the truth that they recognize; they say: Our Lord! we believe, so write us down with the witnesses (of truth). |

| 84 | وَمَا لَنَا لَا نُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَمَا جَاءَنَا مِنَ الْحَقِّ وَنَطْمَعُ أَن يُدْخِلَنَا رَبُّنَا مَعَ الْقَوْمِ الصَّالِحِينَ |
| Transliteration 84: | Wama lana la numinu biAllahi wama jaana mina alhaqqi wanatmaAAu an yudkhilana rabbuna maAAa alqawmi alssaliheena |
| Yusuf Ali 84: | "What cause can we have not to believe in Allah and the truth which has come to us, seeing that we long for our Lord to admit us to the company of the righteous?" |
| Shakir 84: | And what (reason) have we that we should not believe in Allah and in the truth that has come to us, while we earnestly desire that our Lord should cause us to enter with the good people? |
| Pickthal 84: | How should we not believe in Allah and that which hath come unto us of the Truth. And (how should we not) hope that our Lord will bring us in along with righteous folk? |

| 85 | فَأَثَابَهُمُ اللَّهُ بِمَا قَالُوا جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا ۚ وَذَٰلِكَ جَزَاءُ الْمُحْسِنِينَ |
| Transliteration 85: | Faathabahumu Allahu bima qaloo jannatin tajree min tahtiha alanharu khalideena feeha wathalika jazao almuhsineena |
| Yusuf Ali 85: | And for this their prayer hath Allah rewarded them with gardens, with rivers flowing underneath,- their eternal home. Such is the recompense of those who do good. |
| Shakir 85: | Therefore Allah rewarded them on account of what they said, with gardens in which rivers flow to abide in them; and this is the reward of those who do good (to others). |
| Pickthal 85: | Allah hath rewarded them for that their saying - Gardens underneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide for ever. That is the reward of the good. |

| Transliteration 86: | Waallatheena kafaroo wakaththaboo biayatina olaika ashabu aljaheemi |
| Yusuf Ali 86: | But those who reject Faith and belie our Signs,- they shall be companions of Hell-fire. |
| Shakir 86: | And (as for) those who disbelieve and reject Our communications, these are the companions of the flame. |
| Pickthal 86: | But those who disbelieve and deny Our revelations, they are owners of hell-fire. |
| Mohsin Khan: 86: | But those who disbelieved and belied Our Ayat (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), they shall be the dwellers of the (Hell) Fire. |

| Transliteration 87: | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo la tuharrimoo tayyibati ma ahalla Allahu lakum wala taAAtadoo inna Allaha la yuhibbu almuAAtadeena |
| Yusuf Ali 87: | O ye who believe! make not unlawful the good things which Allah hath made lawful for you, but commit no excess: for Allah loveth not those given to excess. |
| Shakir 87: | O you who believe! do not forbid (yourselves) the good things which Allah has made lawful for you and do not exceed the limits; surely Allah does not love those who exceed the limits. |
| Pickthal 87: | O ye who believe! Forbid not the good things which Allah hath made lawful for you, and transgress not, Lo! Allah loveth not transgressors. |
| Mohsin Khan: 87: | O you who believe! Make not unlawful the Tayyibat (all that is good as regards foods, things, deeds, beliefs, persons) which Allah has made lawful to you, and transgress not. Verily, Allah does not like the transgressors. |

Janganlah kamu haramkan benda-benda yang baik-baik yang telah dihalalkan oleh Allah bagi kamu dan janganlah kamu melampaui batas (pada apa yang telah ditetapkan halalnya itu); kerana sesungguhnya Allah tidak suka kepada orang-orang yang melampaui batas. |
| German 87: | O ihr, die ihr glaubt, erklärt die guten Dinge, die Allah euch erlaubt hat, nicht für verboten; doch übertretet auch nicht. Denn Allah liebt die Ubertreter nicht. |
| Russian 87: | О те, которые уверовали! Не запрещайте блага, которые Аллах сделал дозволенными для вас, и не преступайте границы дозволенного. Воистину, Аллах не любит преступников. |

| 88 | وَكُلُوا مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ اللَّهُ حَلَالًا طَيِّبًا ۚ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ الَّذِي أَنتُم بِهِ مُؤْمِنُونَ |
| Transliteration 88: | Wakuloo mimma razaqakumu Allahu halalan tayyiban waittaqoo Allaha allathee antum bihi muminoona |
| Yusuf Ali 88: | Eat of the things which Allah hath provided for you, lawful and good; but fear Allah, in Whom ye believe. |
| Shakir 88: | And eat of the lawful and good (things) that Allah has given you, and be careful of (your duty to) Allah, in Whom you believe. |
| Pickthal 88: | Eat of that which Allah hath bestowed on you as food lawful and good, and keep your duty to Allah in Whom ye are believers. |

| 89 | لَا يُؤَاخِذُكُمُ اللَّهُ بِاللَّغْوِ فِي أَيْمَانِكُمْ وَلَـٰكِن يُؤَاخِذُكُم بِمَا عَقَّدتُّمُ الْأَيْمَانَ ۖ فَكَفَّارَتُهُ إِطْعَامُ عَشَرَةِ مَسَاكِينَ مِنْ أَوْسَطِ مَا تُطْعِمُونَ أَهْلِيكُمْ أَوْ كِسْوَتُهُمْ أَوْ تَحْرِيرُ رَقَبَةٍ ۖ فَمَن لَّمْ يَجِدْ فَصِيَامُ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ كَفَّارَةُ أَيْمَانِكُمْ إِذَا حَلَفْتُمْ ۚ وَاحْفَظُوا أَيْمَانَكُمْ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ آيَاتِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ |
| Transliteration 89: | La yuakhithukumu Allahu biallaghwi fee aymanikum walakin yuakhithukum bima AAaqqadtumu alaymana fakaffaratuhu itAAamu AAasharati masakeena min awsati ma tutAAimoona ahleekum aw kiswatuhum aw tahreeru raqabatin faman lam yajid fasiyamu thalathati ayyamin thalika kaffaratu aymanikum itha halaftum waihfathoo aymanakum kathalika yubayyinu Allahu lakum ayatihi laAAallakum tashkuroona |
| Yusuf Ali 89: | Allah will not call you to account for what is futile in your oaths, but He will call you to account for your deliberate oaths: for expiation, feed ten indigent persons, on a scale of the average for the food of your families; or clothe them; or give a slave his freedom. If that is beyond your means, fast for three days. That is the expiation for the oaths ye have sworn. But keep to your oaths. Thus doth Allah make clear to you His signs, that ye may be grateful. |
| Shakir 89: | Allah does not call you to account for what is vain in your oaths, but He calls you to account for the making of deliberate oaths; so its expiation is the feeding of ten poor men out of the middling (food) you feed your families with, or their clothing, or the freeing of a neck; but whosoever cannot find (means) then fasting for three days; this is the expiation of your oaths when you swear; and guard your oaths. Thus does Allah make clear to you His communications, that you may be Fateful. |
| Pickthal 89: | Allah will not take you to task for that which is unintentional in your oaths, but He will take you to task for the oaths which ye swear in earnest. The expiation thereof is the feeding of ten of the needy with the average of that wherewith ye feed your own folk, or the clothing of them, or the liberation of a slave, and for him who findeth not (the wherewithal to do so) then a three days' fast. This is the expiation of your oaths when ye have sworn; and keep your oaths. Thus Allah expoundeth unto you His revelations in order that ye may give thanks. |
| Mohsin Khan: 89: | Allah will not punish you for what is unintentional in your oaths, but He will punish you for your deliberate oaths; for its expiation feed ten Masakin (poor persons), on a scale of the average of that with which you feed your own families, or clothe them or manumit a slave. But whosoever cannot afford (that), then he should fast for three days. That is the expiation for the oaths when you have sworn . And protect your oaths (i.e. do not swear much) . Thus Allah make clear to you His Ayat (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) that you may be grateful. |

| Spanish 89: | Alá no os tendrá en cuenta la vanidad de vuestros juramentos, pero sí el que hayáis jurado deliberadamente. Como expiación, alimentaréis a diez pobres como soléis alimentar a vuestra familia, o les vestiréis, o manumitiréis a un esclavo. Quien no pueda, que ayune tres días. Cuando juréis, ésa será la expiación por vuestros juramentos. ¡Sed fieles a lo que juráis! Así os explica Alá Sus aleyas. Quizás, así, seáis agradecidos. |
| Indonesian 89: | Allah tidak menghukum kamu disebabkan sumpah-sumpahmu yang tidak dimaksud (untuk bersumpah), tetapi Dia menghukum kamu disebabkan sumpah-sumpah yang kamu sengaja, maka kaffarat (melanggar) sumpah itu, ialah memberi makan sepuluh orang miskin, yaitu dari makanan yang biasa kamu berikan kepada keluargamu, atau memberi pakaian kepada mereka atau memerdekakan seorang budak. Barangsiapa tidak sanggup melakukan yang demikian, maka kaffaratnya puasa selama tiga hari. Yang demikian itu adalah kaffarat sumpah-sumpahmu bila kamu bersumpah (dan kamu langgar). Dan jagalah sumpahmu. Demikianlah Allah menerangkan kepadamu hukum-hukum-Nya agar kamu bersyukur (kepada-Nya). |
| Melayu 89: | Kamu tidak dikira salah oleh Allah tentang sumpah-sumpah kamu yang tidak disengajakan (untuk bersumpah), akan tetapi kamu dikira salah olehNya dengan sebab sumpah yang sengaja kamu buat dengan bersungguh-sungguh. Maka bayaran dendanya ialah memberi makan sepuluh orang miskin dari jenis makanan yang sederhana yang kamu (biasa) berikan kepada keluarga kamu atau memberi pakaian untuk mereka, atau memerdekakan seorang hamba. Kemudian sesiapa yang tidak dapat (menunaikan denda yang tersebut), maka hendaklah dia berpuasa tiga hari. Yang demikian itu ialah denda penebus sumpah kamu apabila kamu bersumpah dan jagalah peliharalah sumpah kamu. Demikianlah Allah menerangkan kepada kamu ayat-ayatNya (hukum-hukum agamaNya) supaya kamu bersyukur. |
| German 89: | Allah wird euch für ein unbedachtes Wort in euren Eiden nicht zur Rechenschaft ziehen, doch Er wird von euch für das Rechenschaft fordern, was ihr mit Bedacht geschworen habt. Die Sühne dafür sei dann die Speisung von zehn Armen in jenem Maß, wie ihr die Eurigen im Durchschnitt speist, oder ihre Bekleidung oder die Befreiung eines Sklaven. Wer es aber nicht kann, dann (soll er) drei Tage fasten. Das ist die Sühne für eure Eide, wenn ihr sie geleistet habt. Und hütet ja eure Eide. So macht euch Allah Seine Zeichen klar, auf daß ihr dankbar sein möget. |
| Russian 89: | Аллах не взыщет с вас за празднословные клятвы, но взыщет за то, что вы скрепили клятвами. В искупление этого необходимо накормить десятерых бедняков средним (или лучшим) из того, чем вы кормите свои семьи, или одеть их, или освободить раба. Кто не сможет сделать этого, тот должен поститься в течение трех дней. Таково искупление ваших клятв, если вы поклялись и нарушили клятву. Оберегайте же свои клятвы. Так Аллах разъясняет вам Свои знамения, – быть может, вы будете благодарны. |
| Bosnian 89: | Allah vas neće kazniti ako se zakunete nenamjerno, ali će vas kazniti ako se zakunete namjerno. Otkup za prekršenu zakletvu je: da deset siromaha običnom hranom kojom hranite čeljad svoju nahranite, ili da ih odjenete, ili da roba ropstva oslobodite. A onaj ko ne bude mogao - neka tri dana posti. Tako se za zakletve vaše otkupljujte kada se zakunete; a o zakletvama svojim brinite se! Eto, tako vam Allah objašnjava propise Svoje da biste bili zahvalni. |
| Urdu 89: | الله تمہیں تمہاری بی ہودہ قسموں پر نہیں پکڑتا لیکن ان قسموں پرپکڑتا ہے جنہیں تم مستحکم کر دو سو اس کا کفارہ دس مسکینوں کو اوسط درجہ کا کھانا دینا ہے جو تم اپنے گھر والوں کو دیتے ہو یا دس مسکینوں کو کپڑا پہنانا یا گردن آزاد کرنی پھر جو شخص یہ نہ پائے تو تین دن کے روزے رکھنے ہیں اسی طرح تمہای قسموں کا کفارہ ہے جب تم قسم کھاؤ اور اپنی قسموں کی حفاظت کرو اسی طرح تمہارے لیے اپنے حکم بیان کرتا ہے تاکہ تم شکر کرو |
| 90 | يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِنَّمَا الْخَمْرُ وَالْمَيْسِرُ وَالْأَنصَابُ وَالْأَزْلَامُ رِجْسٌ مِّنْ عَمَلِ الشَّيْطَانِ فَاجْتَنِبُوهُ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ |
| Transliteration 90: | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo innama alkhamru waalmaysiru waalansabu waalazlamu rijsun min AAamali alshshaytani faijtaniboohu laAAallakum tuflihoona |
| Yusuf Ali 90: | O ye who believe! Intoxicants and gambling, (dedication of) stones, and (divination by) arrows, are an abomination,- of Satan's handwork: eschew such (abomination), that ye may prosper. |
| Shakir 90: | O you who believe! intoxicants and games of chance and (sacrificing to) stones set up and (dividing by) arrows are only an uncleanness, the Shaitan's work; shun it therefore that you may be successful. |

| Yusuf Ali 91: | Satan's plan is (but) to excite enmity and hatred between you, with intoxicants and gambling, and hinder you from the remembrance of Allah, and from prayer: will ye not then abstain? |
| Shakir 91: | The Shaitan only desires to cause enmity and hatred to spring in your midst by means of intoxicants and games of chance, and to keep you off from the remembrance of Allah and from prayer. Will you then desist? |

| Transliteration 93: | Laysa AAala allatheena amanoo waAAamiloo alssalihati junahun feema taAAimoo itha ma ittaqaw waamanoo waAAamiloo alssalihati thumma ittaqaw waamanoo thumma ittaqaw waahsanoo waAllahu yuhibbu almuhsineena |
| Yusuf Ali 93: | On those who believe and do deeds of righteousness there is no blame for what they ate (in the past), when they guard themselves from evil, and believe, and do deeds of righteousness,- (or) again, guard themselves from evil and believe,- (or) again, guard themselves from evil and do good. For Allah loveth those who do good. |
| Shakir 93: | On those who believe and do good there is no blame for what they eat, when they are careful (of their duty) and believe and do good deeds, then they are careful (of their duty) and believe, then they are careful (of their duty) and do good (to others), and Allah loves those who do good (to others). |
| Pickthal 93: | There shall be no sin (imputed) unto those who believe and do good works for what they may have eaten (in the past). | Mohsin Khan: 93: | Those who believe and do righteous good deeds, there is no sin on them for what they ate (in the past), if they fear Allah (by keeping away from His forbidden things), and believe and do righteous good deeds, and again fear Allah and believe, and once again fear Allah and do good deeds with Ihsan (perfection). And Allah loves the good-doers. |

| 94 | يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَيَبْلُوَنَّكُمُ اللَّهُ بِشَيْءٍ مِّنَ الصَّيْدِ تَنَالُهُ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَرِمَاحُكُمْ لِيَعْلَمَ اللَّهُ مَن يَخَافُهُ بِالْغَيْبِ ۚ فَمَنِ اعْتَدَىٰ بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ فَلَهُ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ |
| Transliteration 94: | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo layabluwannakumu Allahu bishayin mina alssaydi tanaluhu aydeekum warimahukum liyaAAlama Allahu man yakhafuhu bialghaybi famani iAAtada baAAda thalika falahu AAathabun aleemun |

| Transliteration 95: | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo la taqtuloo alssayda waantum hurumun waman qatalahu minkum mutaAAammidan fajazaon mithlu ma qatala mina alnnaAAami yahkumu bihi thawa AAadlin minkum hadyan baligha alkaAAbati aw kaffaratun taAAamu masakeena aw AAadlu thalika siyaman liyathooqa wabala amrihi AAafa Allahu AAamma salafa waman AAada fayantaqimu Allahu minhu waAllahu AAazeezun thoo intiqamin |
| Yusuf Ali 95: | O ye who believe! Kill not game while in the sacred precincts or in pilgrim garb. If any of you doth so intentionally, the compensation is an offering, brought to the Ka'ba, of a domestic animal equivalent to the one he killed, as adjudged by two just men among you; or by way of atonement, the feeding of the indigent; or its equivalent in fasts: that he may taste of the penalty of his deed. Allah forgives what is past: for repetition Allah will exact from him the penalty. For Allah is Exalted, and Lord of Retribution. |

Alá perdona lo pasado, pero Alá se vengará del reincidente. Alá es poderoso, vengador. |
| Indonesian 95: | Hai orang-orang yang beriman, janganlah kamu membunuh binatang buruan , ketika kamu sedang ihram. Barangsiapa di antara kamu membunuhnya dengan sengaja, maka dendanya ialah mengganti dengan binatang ternak seimbang dengan buruan yang dibunuhnya, menurut putusan dua orang yang adil di antara kamu, sebagai had-ya yang dibawa sampai ke Ka'bah , atau (dendanya) membayar kaffarat dengan memberi makan orang-orang miskin , atau berpuasa seimbang dengan makanan yang dikeluarkan itu , supaya dia merasakan akibat yang buruk dari perbuatannya. Allah telah mema'afkan apa yang telah lalu . Dan barangsiapa yang kembali mengerjakannya, niscaya Allah akan menyiksanya. Allah Maha Kuasa lagi mempunyai (kekuasaan untuk) menyiksa. |

Und (wenn) einer von euch ein Tier vorsätzlich tötet, so ist die Ersatzleistung (dafür) ein gleiches Maß vom Vieh, wie das, was er getötet (hat), nach dem Spruch von zwei Redlichen unter euch, und das soll dann als Opfertier zu der Ka'ba gebracht werden; oder die Sühne sei die Speisung von Armen oder dementsprechendes Fasten, damit er die bösen Folgen seiner Tat koste. Или же для искупления этого следует накормить бедняков или соблюсти равноценный пост, дабы он вкусил пагубность своего поступка. | 100 | قُل لَّا يَسْتَوِي الْخَبِيثُ وَالطَّيِّبُ وَلَوْ أَعْجَبَكَ كَثْرَةُ الْخَبِيثِ ۚ فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ يَا أُولِي الْأَلْبَابِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ |
| Transliteration 100: | Qul la yastawee alkhabeethu waalttayyibu walaw aAAjabaka kathratu alkhabeethi faittaqoo Allaha ya olee alalbabi laAAallakum tuflihoona |
| Yusuf Ali 100: | Say: "Not equal are things that are bad and things that are good, even though the abundance of the bad may dazzle thee; so fear Allah, O ye that understand; that (so) ye may prosper." |
| Shakir 100: | Say: The bad and the good are not equal, though the abundance of the bad may please you; so be careful of (your duty to) Allah, O men of understanding, that you may be successful. |

So fear Allah , O men of understanding in order that you may be successful. |

| German 100: | "Sprich: ""Das Schlechte und das Gute sind nicht gleich"", obgleich dich auch die Menge des Schlechten in Erstaunen versetzen mag. Darum fürchtet Allah, ihr Verständigen, auf daß ihr erfolgreich sein möget. |
| Russian 100: | Скажи: «Скверное и благое не равны, даже если изобилие скверного понравилось тебе (или удивило тебя)». Бойтесь же Аллаха, обладатели разума, – быть может, вы преуспеете. |
