1	لَمْ يَكُنِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ وَالْمُشْرِكِينَ مُنفَكِّينَ حَتَّىٰ تَأْتِيَهُمُ الْبَيِّنَةُ
Transliteration 1:	Lam yakuni allatheena kafaroo min ahli alkitabi waalmushrikeena munfakkeena hatta tatiyahumu albayyinatu
Yusuf Ali 1:	Those who reject (Truth), among the People of the Book and among the Polytheists, were not going to depart (from their ways) until there should come to them Clear Evidence,-
Shakir 1:	Those who disbelieved from among the followers of the Book and the polytheists could not have separated (from the faithful) until there had come to them the clear evidence:
Pickthal 1:	Those who disbelieve among the People of the Scripture and the idolaters could not have left off (erring) till the clear proof came unto them,
Mohsin Khan: 1:	Those who disbelieve from among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) and Al-Mushrikun, were not going to leave (their disbelief) until there came to them clear evidence.
French 1:	Les infidèles parmi les gens du Livre, ainsi que les Associateurs, ne cesseront pas de mécroire jusqu'à ce que leur vienne la Preuve évidente:
Spanish 1:	Los que no creen, tanto gente de la Escritura como asociadores, no podían renunciar hasta que les viniera la prueba clara:
Indonesian 1:	Orang-orang kafir yakni ahli kitab dan orang-orang musyrik (mengatakan bahwa mereka) tidak akan meninggalkan (agamanya) sebelum datang kepada mereka bukti yang nyata,
Melayu 1:	Orang-orang yang kafir dari Ahli Kitab (Yahudi dan Nasrani) serta orang-orang musyrik, tidak akan terlepas (dari kepercayaan dan amalan masing-masing) sehingga datang kepada mereka bukti yang jelas nyata, -
German 1:	Diejenigen, die ungläubig sind unter dem Volk der Schrift und die Götzendiener können (von ihrem Irrtum) nicht befreit werden, bis der deutliche Beweis zu ihnen kommt:
Russian 1:	Неуверовавшие люди Писания и многобожники не расстались с неверием, пока к ним не явилось ясное знамение –
Bosnian 1:	Nisu se nevjernici između sljedbenika Knjige i mnogobošci odvojili, sve dok im nije došao dokaz jasni;
Urdu 1:	اہلِ کتاب میں سے کافر اور مشرک لوگ باز آنے والے نہیں تھے یہاں تک کہ ان کے پاس کھلی دلیل آئے
2	رَسُولٌ مِّنَ اللَّهِ يَتْلُو صُحُفًا مُّطَهَّرَةً
Transliteration 2:	Rasoolun mina Allahi yatloo suhufan mutahharatan
Yusuf Ali 2:	An apostle from Allah, rehearsing scriptures kept pure and holy:
Shakir 2:	An messenger from Allah, reciting pure pages,
Pickthal 2:	A messenger from Allah, reading purified pages
Mohsin Khan: 2:	A Messenger (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) from Allah, reciting (the Qur'an) purified pages [purified from Al-Batil (falsehood)].
French 2:	un Messager, de la part d'Allah, qui leur récite des feuilles purifiées,
Spanish 2:	Un Enviado de Dios, que recitara hojas purificadas,
Indonesian 2:	(yaitu) seorang Rasul dari Allah (Muhammad) yang membacakan lembaran-lembaran yang disucikan (Al Qur'an),
Melayu 2:	Iaitu seorang Rasul dari Allah yang membacakan (kepada mereka) Lembaran-lembaran Suci,
German 2:	ein Gesandter von Allah, der (ihnen) reinerhaltene (Qur'an-) Abschnitte verliest,
Russian 2:	Посланник Аллаха, который читает очищенные свитки. В них содержатся правдивые Писания.
Bosnian 2:	od Allaha Poslanik, koji čita listove čiste,
Urdu 2:	یعنی ایک رسول الله کی طرف سے آئے جو پاک صحیفے پڑھ کر سنائے
3	فِيهَا كُتُبٌ قَيِّمَةٌ
Transliteration 3:	Feeha kutubun qayyimatun
Yusuf Ali 3:	Wherein are laws (or decrees) right and straight.
Shakir 3:	Wherein are all the right ordinances.
Pickthal 3:	Containing correct scriptures.
Mohsin Khan: 3:	Wherein are correct and straight laws from Allah.
French 3:	dans lesquelles se trouvent des prescriptions d'une rectitude parfaite.
Spanish 3:	que contenían Escrituras verdaderas.
Indonesian 3:	di dalamnya terdapat (isi) kitab-kitab yang lurus .
Melayu 3:	Terkandung di dalamnya pelajaran-pelajaran dan hukum-hukum yang benar.
German 3:	in denen geradlinige Vorschriften enthalten sind.
Russian 3:	Те, кому было даровано Писание, распались только после того, как к ним явилось ясное знамение.
Bosnian 3:	u kojima su propisi ispravni.
Urdu 3:	جن میں درست مضامین لکھے ہوں
4	وَمَا تَفَرَّقَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ إِلَّا مِن بَعْدِ مَا جَاءَتْهُمُ الْبَيِّنَةُ
Transliteration 4:	Wama tafarraqa allatheena ootoo alkitaba illa min baAAdi ma jaathumu albayyinatu
Yusuf Ali 4:	Nor did the People of the Book make schisms, until after there came to them Clear Evidence.
Shakir 4:	And those who were given the Book did not become divided except after clear evidence had come to them.
Pickthal 4:	Nor were the People of the Scripture divided until after the clear proof came unto them.
Mohsin Khan: 4:	And the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) differed not until after there came to them clear evidence (i.e. Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم and whatever was revealed to him).
French 4:	Et ceux à qui le Livre a été donné ne se sont divisés qu'après que la preuve leur fut venue.
Spanish 4:	Y quienes recibieron la Escritura no se dividieron sino después de venir a ellos la prueba clara.
Indonesian 4:	Dan tidaklah berpecah belah orang-orang yang didatangkan Al Kitab (kepada mereka) melainkan sesudah datang kepada mereka bukti yang nyata.
Melayu 4:	Dan orang-orang (Yahudi dan Nasrani) yang diberi Kitab (Taurat dan Injil) itu, tidak berpecah-belah melainkan setelah datang kepada mereka bukti yang jelas nyata.
German 4:	Und die, denen die Schrift gegeben wurde, waren nicht eher gespalten, als bis der deutliche Beweis zu ihnen gekommen war.
Russian 4:	А ведь им было велено лишь поклоняться Аллаху, служа ему искренне, как единобожники, совершать намаз и выплачивать закят. Это – правая вера.
Bosnian 4:	A podvojili su se oni kojima je data Knjiga baš onda kada im je došao dokaz jasni,
Urdu 4:	اور اہلِ کتاب نے جو اختلاف کیا تو واضح دلیل آنے کے بعد
5	وَمَا أُمِرُوا إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ حُنَفَاءَ وَيُقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَيُؤْتُوا الزَّكَاةَ ۚ وَذَ‌ٰلِكَ دِينُ الْقَيِّمَةِ
Transliteration 5:	Wama omiroo illa liyaAAbudoo Allaha mukhliseena lahu alddeena hunafaa wayuqeemoo alssalata wayutoo alzzakata wathalika deenu alqayyimati
Yusuf Ali 5:	And they have been commanded no more than this: To worship Allah, offering Him sincere devotion, being true (in faith); to establish regular prayer; and to practise regular charity; and that is the Religion Right and Straight.
Shakir 5:	And they were not enjoined anything except that they should serve Allah, being sincere to Him in obedience, upright, and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate, and that is the right religion.
Pickthal 5:	And they are ordered naught else than to serve Allah, keeping religion pure for Him, as men by nature upright, and to establish worship and to pay the poor-due. That is true religion.
Mohsin Khan: 5:	And they were commanded not, but that they should worship Allah, and worship none but Him Alone (abstaining from ascribing partners to Him), and perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat) and give Zakat, and that is the right religion.
French 5:	Il ne leur a été commandé, cependant, que d'adorer Allah, Lui vouant un culte exclusif, d'accomplir la Salat et d'acquitter la Zakat. Et voilà la religion de droiture.
Spanish 5:	Pero no se les ordenó sino que sirvieran a Dios, rindiéndole culto sincero comohanifes, que hicieran la azalá y dieran el azaque. Ésa es la religión verdadera.
Indonesian 5:	Padahal mereka tidak disuruh kecuali supaya menyembah Allah dengan memurnikan keta'atan kepada-Nya dalam (menjalankan) agama dengan lurus dan supaya mereka mendirikan shalat dan menunaikan zakat; dan yang demikian itulah agama yang lurus.
Melayu 5:	Pada hal mereka tidak diperintahkan melainkan supaya menyembah Allah dengan mengikhlaskan ibadat kepadaNya, lagi tetap teguh di atas tauhid dan supaya mereka mendirikan sembahyang serta memberi zakat dan yang demikian itulah agama yang benar.
German 5:	Und doch war ihnen nichts anderes befohlen worden, als Allah treu in lauterem Glauben zu dienen und das Gebet zu verrichten und die Zakah zu entrichten. Und das ist die Religion der Geradlinigkeit.
Russian 5:	Воистину, неуверовавшие люди Писания и многобожники окажутся в огне Геенны и пребудут там вечно. Они являются наихудшими из тварей.
Bosnian 5:	a naređeno im je da se samo Allahu klanjaju, da Mu iskreno, kao pravovjerni, vjeru ispovijedaju, i da molitvu obavljaju, i da milostinju udjeljuju; a to je - ispravna vjera.
Urdu 5:	اور انہیں صرف یہی حکم دیا گیا تھا کہ الله کی عبادت کریں ایک رخ ہو کر خالص اسی کی اطاعت کی نیت سے اورنماز قائم کریں اور زکواة دیں اور یہی محکم دین ہے
6	إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ وَالْمُشْرِكِينَ فِي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا ۚ أُولَـٰئِكَ هُمْ شَرُّ الْبَرِيَّةِ
Transliteration 6:	Inna allatheena kafaroo min ahli alkitabi waalmushrikeena fee nari jahannama khalideena feeha olaika hum sharru albariyyati
Yusuf Ali 6:	Those who reject (Truth), among the People of the Book and among the Polytheists, will be in Hell-Fire, to dwell therein (for aye). They are the worst of creatures.
Shakir 6:	Surely those who disbelieve from among the followers of the Book and the polytheists shall be in the fire of hell, abiding therein; they are the worst of men.
Pickthal 6:	Lo! those who disbelieve, among the People of the Scripture and the idolaters, will abide in fire of hell. They are the worst of created beings.
Mohsin Khan: 6:	Verily, those who disbelieve (in the religion of Islam, the Qur'an and Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) from among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) and Al-Mushrikun will abide in the Fire of Hell. They are the worst of creatures.
French 6:	Les infidèles parmi les gens du Livre, ainsi que les Associateurs iront au feu de l'Enfer, pour y demeurer éternellement. De toute la création, ce sont eux les pires.
Spanish 6:	Los que no crean, tanto gente de la Escritura como asociadores estarán, eternamente, en el fuego de la gehena. Ésos son lo peor de la creación.
Indonesian 6:	Sesungguhnya orang-orang kafir yakni ahli Kitab dan orang-orang musyrik (akan masuk) ke neraka Jahannam; mereka kekal di dalamnya. Mereka itu adalah seburuk-buruk makhluk.
Melayu 6:	Sesungguhnya orang-orang yang kafir dari Ahli Kitab dan orang-orang musyrik itu akan ditempatkan di dalam Neraka Jahannam, kekallah mereka di dalamnya. Mereka itulah sejahat-jahat makhluk.
German 6:	Wahrlich, jene, die ungläubig sind unter dem Volk der Schrift und die Götzendiener werden im Feuer der Dschahannam sein; ewig werden sie darin bleiben; diese sind die schlechtesten der Geschöpfe.
Russian 6:	Воистину, те, которые уверовали и совершали праведные деяния, являются наилучшими из тварей.
Bosnian 6:	Oni koji ne vjeruju između sljedbenika Knjige i mnogobošci biće, sigurno, u vatri džehennemskoj, u njoj će vječno ostati; oni su najgora stvorenja.
Urdu 6:	بے شک جو لوگ اہلِ کتاب میں سے منکر ہوئے اور مشرکین وہ دوزخ کی آگ میں ہوں گے اس میں ہمیشہ رہیں گے یہی لوگ بدترین مخلوقات ہیں
7	إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ أُولَـٰئِكَ هُمْ خَيْرُ الْبَرِيَّةِ
Transliteration 7:	Inna allatheena amanoo waAAamiloo alssalihati olaika hum khayru albariyyati
Yusuf Ali 7:	Those who have faith and do righteous deeds,- they are the best of creatures.
Shakir 7:	(As for) those who believe and do good, surely they are the -best of men.
Pickthal 7:	(And) lo! those who believe and do good works are the best of created beings.
Mohsin Khan: 7:	Verily, those who believe [in the Oneness of Allah, and in His Messenger Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) including all obligations ordered by Islam] and do righteous good deeds, they are the best of creatures.
French 7:	Quant à ceux qui croient et accomplissent les bonnes oeuvres, ce sont les meilleurs de toute la création.
Spanish 7:	En cambio, los que crean y obren bien, ésos son lo mejor de la creación,
Indonesian 7:	Sesungguhnya orang-orang yang beriman dan mengerjakan amal saleh mereka itu adalah sebaik-baik makhluk.
Melayu 7:	Sesungguhnya orang-orang yang beriman dan beramal soleh, mereka itulah sebaik-baik makhluk.
German 7:	Wahrlich, diejenigen aber, die glauben und gute Werke tun, sind die besten der Geschöpfe.
Russian 7:	Их воздаянием у их Господа будут сады Эдема, в которых текут реки. Они пребудут в них вечно.
Bosnian 7:	A oni koji vjeruju i čine dobra djela - oni su, zbilja, najbolja stvorenja,
Urdu 7:	بے شک جولوگ ایمان لائے اورنیک کام کیے یہی لوگ بہترین مخلوقات ہیں
8	جَزَاؤُهُمْ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ جَنَّاتُ عَدْنٍ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا أَبَدًا ۖ رَّضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُوا عَنْهُ ۚ ذَ‌ٰلِكَ لِمَنْ خَشِيَ رَبَّهُ
Transliteration 8:	Jazaohum AAinda rabbihim jannatu AAadnin tajree min tahtiha alanharu khalideena feeha abadan radiya Allahu AAanhum waradoo AAanhu thalika liman khashiya rabbahu
Yusuf Ali 8:	Their reward is with Allah. Gardens of Eternity, beneath which rivers flow; they will dwell therein for ever; Allah well pleased with them, and they with Him: all this for such as fear their Lord and Cherisher.
Shakir 8:	Their reward with their Lord is gardens of perpetuity beneath which rivers flow, abiding therein for ever; Allah is well pleased with them and they are well pleased with Him; that is for him who fears his Lord.
Pickthal 8:	Their reward is with their Lord: Gardens of Eden underneath which rivers flow, wherein they dwell for ever. Allah hath pleasure in them and they have pleasure in Him. This is (in store) for him who feareth his Lord.
Mohsin Khan: 8:	Their reward with their Lord is 'Adn (Eden) Paradise (Gardens of Eternity), underneath which rivers flow. They will abide therein forever, Allah will be pleased with them, and they with Him. That is for him who fears his Lord.
French 8:	Leur récompense auprès d'Allah sera les Jardins de séjour, sous lesquels coulent les ruisseaux, pour y demeurer éternellement. Allah les agrée et ils L'agréent. Telle sera [la récompense] de celui qui craint son Seigneur.
Spanish 8:	y tendrán como retribución, junto a su Señor, los jardines del edén, por cuyos bajos fluyen arroyos, en los que estarán eternamente, para siempre. Dios está satisfecho de ellos y ellos lo están de Él. Esto es sólo para quien tiene miedo de su Señor.
Indonesian 8:	Balasan mereka di sisi Tuhan mereka ialah surga 'Adn yang mengalir di bawahnya sungai-sungai; mereka kekal di dalamnya selama-lamanya. Allah ridha terhadap mereka dan merekapun ridha kepada-Nya. Yang demikian itu adalah (balasan) bagi orang yang takut kepada Tuhannya.
Melayu 8:	Balasan mereka di sisi Tuhannya ialah Syurga Adn (tempat tinggal yang tetap), yang mengalir di bawahnya beberapa sungai; kekallah mereka di dalamnya selama-lamanya; Allah reda akan mereka dan merekapun reda (serta bersyukur) akan nikmat pemberianNya. Balasan yang demikian itu untuk orang-orang yang takut (melanggar perintah) Tuhannya.
German 8:	Ihr Lohn bei ihrem Herrn sind die Gärten von Eden, durcheilt von Bächen; ewig und immerdar werden sie darin verweilen. Allah ist mit ihnen wohlzufrieden und sie sind wohlzufrieden mit Ihm. Dies ist für den, der seinen Herrn fürchtet.
Russian 8:	Аллах доволен ими, и они довольны Им. Это уготовано для тех, кто боится своего Господа.
Bosnian 8:	njih nagrada u Gospodara njihova čeka; edenski vrtovi kroz koji će rijeke teći, u kojima će vječno i zauvijek boraviti; Allah će biti njima zadovoljan, a i oni će biti Njime zadovoljni. To će biti za onoga koji se bude bojao Gospodara svoga.
Urdu 8:	ان کا بدلہ ان کے رب کے ہاں ہمیشہ رہنے کے بہشت ہیں ان کے نیچے نہریں بہتی ہوں گی وہ ان میں ہمیشہ ہمیشہ رہیں گے الله ان سے راضی ہوا اور وہ اس سے راضی ہوئے یہ اس کے لئےہے جو اپنے رب سے ڈرتا ہے
